They had all passengers board the plane and then decided to refuel, so everyone sat in the airplane for 1 hour at the gate before leaving. We didn’t even get a drink of water on the plane. We were sitting in the last row in the back of the plane and when the attendant got to us it was time to land so she just skipped our row. I highly dis recommend Volaris."

Cons: "I have traveled several times annually with Volaris for at last 13 years and this is the first time the service was so bad, virtually no service was offered at any time. Everything seemed disorganized. No food was offered or even a glass of water. I am 86 years old and travel handicapped all over the world with excellent service. I was shocked that I as dumped in a seat at the Volaris gate from the wheel chair by the attendant; and, who never returned to help me board the plane. I made the mistake of tipping him well. No ramp was available and I had to beg for help with my carryon as I have to hold on with both hands to go up the stairs. Cancun’s attendant for handicapped was much better and truly helped me and stayed with me until my transfer was found. Tijuana’s airport service was horrible."

Esto se me hace ya una exageración de querer obtener utilidades de todo. Es un absurdo, pues todos nos vamos a ir y es una causa de molestia y que me haría pensar a mi y otros muchos en no comprar más con ustedes. Entiendo que quien quiera asegurar su asiento desde mucho tiempo antes pague por este servicio. Pero no al momento de abrir el vuelo. A veces viajamos acompañados y resulta imposible sentarse juntos. En mi opinión y de muchos amigos que viajamos con ustedes esto nos tiene en desagrado y ocasiona que adentro del avión andemos cambiando lugares y retrasar los despegues."

The crew came off somewhat rude and annoyed when asked questions. flight left 30 minutes after scheduled departure. Food and drinks were both charged when I can pay a little more on another airline and get it for free. Lines for bag drop off are ridiculously long and not organized. Charging service fee for help to get a boarding pass is uncalled for, since many older people are traveling."

Also, this was a night flight and they the lights turned up to maximum for nearly the full length. I understand that people need to fill out custom forms, but they can do that by their individual lights. My poor toddler was awake most of this redeye due to the glaring cabinet lights. I also don't like that Volaris tells me it's OK to use devices in airplane mode during takeoff and landing, and then the attendents tell me to take out my headphones with no futher explanation. That's just weird."

The seats do not recline and are ultra thin, I think this made it more comfortable on the shorter 2 hour flight as it seemed to provide more knee room. I think customer experience could be brought up very easily with better online/app and mobile boarding pass. The plane didn't seem old and seemed inline or slightly above for its price point. I'm ok with no real food or entertainment especially with 4drink being free, but in flight wifi should standard even on a discount flight."

But I also now understand why carry on costs more than shipping bags :-( Oh ! did I forget to mention the plane is a mess? Gum stuck on the edge of the tray on both flights. Yes the edge in full view not hidden where the cleaning crew would have to struggle to find it."

I couldn't make much sense of the picture book instructions either because there were few words of actual direction."

Was advertised as some free seating options but when checked into flight 24 hr ahead of time had to pay $16 a piece for middle row seats at the very back of the airplane. Flight was delayed 3 hrs because one of the flight attendants did not show up. Will never fly frontier again."

We are coming from Philadelpha so that is to be expected. I have already sworn off spirit and I will have to consider carefully flying frontier again. Let's see what the flight home holds for me. T-"
