I literally could not sit upright with out my head striking the wall. To top it all off they lost my bag. After hours of wrangling with the baggage folks it could not be located in their computer system at all. I was told they could only reimburse for $3,500. Needless to say I had some expensive camera equipment in my checked luggage and was not too excited about this reimbursement cap. By some miracle the bag ended up at my home destination. It was off in the corner of baggage claim. No tag on it, no one standing around it, no one knew anything about it. I just happen to walk by it on my way out of the airport. Horrible experience. I think I’ll stick with the other airlines in the future."

After we returned we discovered that the flight was delayed another 45 minutes...having a 4 hour flight ahead of us we decided to get more substance than a pretzel. After asking the desk person when our flight would be here, she told us they were awaiting a plane and it could be less time than 45 minutes til boarding. There was a restaurant no more than 30 yards from our gate with a television that updated all the flights so we could see. The flight was scheduled to leave the gate at 6:56pm...we got to the gate at 6:45 and they would not allow us to board because they closed the gates and said we were there at 6:46 and they have to close the doors 10 minutes before...we showed the lady our phones which were correct with the time. Basically they screwed us...they can delay flights for over two hours at your inconvenience but the second you're late they show you no mercy. We had to get a hotel for the night (which they didn't pay for) and board an American flight the next day. The desk lady was terrible, had the worst attitude and threatened to call the cops when my husband cursed and said 'this is bullshit' apparently freedom of speech doesn't fly with United...pick a different airline"

She called for help and another woman told me that I would "only" have to pay $60 for the suitcase (which is the most outrageous baggage fee I've ever heard). At that point, I handed my ticket to the woman at the counter and asked her to charge my ticket. When I tried to board, I realized that I didn't have my ticket so I went back to get my ticket from the woman - she LOST it and needed to reprint it. When I got home, I saw that in addition to the $60 bag fee, they charged me $2.50 to print my ticket! Frontier's business practices are deceptive! Sure, the tickets were about $100 cheaper but having to pay extra for baggage fees and dealing with delayed flights makes it not worth the money at all!"

Cons: "- Substantial fees for any luggage whatsover, including a carry on ($35+ per bag), which was NOT clear at purchase. - In flight snacks and drinks ONLY for purchase. - Heavy handed sales pitch for Frontier American Express Card several times during flight from crew. - Plane was an hour delayed (it happens) - With fees, was more expensive than other options."
Pros: "I booked Frontier for the low price. But after going to a farther away airport and paying for bags and seats and drinks and sitting in an uncomfortable seat, I am not so sure it was a great deal. I am happy that I did pay less than other airlines even with the cost of checking a bag (less cost than carrying one one) and for the seat. Because it is more costly to carry on a bag, hardly anyone did leaving lots of room in the overhead compartments and speeding up boarding and deplaning considerably. Snacks and drinks were reasonably priced and lower cost than in the airport. Only snacks like chips and beef jerky are available so if you want food, bring your own. Flight attendants were friendly. My bag arrived on the same flight that I did and it was in good condition. We were reasonably close to on time."
Cons: "Seats are short front to back and don't recline. There was barely enough room between seats to force by backpack down to the floor and almost no room on the floor to hold it leaving me with no where to put my feet except on top of it. My legs are long and about 1/2 of my leg was not supported by the seat. This was manageable for a short flight but I would certainly not book a long flight with these seats. We spent considerable time on the tarmac waiting at both ends. I am not clear on the delay at the beginning of each flight. The delay at the end was related to Frontier only having 1 gate at each airport so we had to wait until it was free. Yes, we landed 20 minutes ahead of time, but we got into the gate 20 minutes late - meaning sitting on the tarmac for 40 minutes. Bags were slow to come up. Probably because everyone checked them so there were many."
Cons: "Food cost extra. seats cost extra. a cane fell on my head after a crew member opened an overhead. the seats don't recline. the seats are hard and crowded. This has got to be the worst airlines to fly.....I would not and will not fly it again. On the flight back, it was midnight and crew member stood by our seat and chatted. Plane looks good, the rest sucks."

Cons: "One zone isn't even through the door and the next zone is called and all we do is stand in the very hot jetway for nearly 15 minutes. Being charged to pick our seat and for our luggage is ridiculous. It should be included in the price, if you have to raise the price then at least people would know better the true cost of their travel. Being charged for a drink! Having $1.99 put on a credit card! Wrong."
Pros: "This was my first airplane flight ever. I was extremely anxious. However I don't think it could have gone better. I had a cat with me and everyone was welcoming."
Cons: "The only things I'm upset about it there were no healthy options on the menu. Even sodas like Izzie or some Bolthouse Farm/Naked juices would be nice to have for those who avoid anything processed. Fresh fruit would be good too. i was also shocked that I had to pay $80 extra for my ONE bag to fly to and fro, and that my cat had to count as my personal item so I had no choice but to pay for one. I believe we should have a free personal item and 1 free carry on."
Cons: "The flight was delayed 2.5 hours for no explained reason."

Pros: "Never friendly, always backed up, even if just 3 ppl in line. Seems person(always seems to only be 1) does not like her job! Just the Austin tx hub. Denver always smiling and flight attendants always happy. Love the price definitely!"
