I landed in Pittsburgh at 12:30 at night and got to my hotel at 1:30am with an 8 am presentation. AA delays really have created a discontent with my business trips. As I use AA as my primary airline I hope this doesn’t continue or I’ll switch to United for future business trips monthly."

With connecting flight of 1.5 hours which is scary for international flight that requires going through custom then recheck luggage and TSA line again. The saving grace is captain speed up place on first leg of international flight so arrived airport 1 hour early, thus allowing enough time to connect."

Cons: "I fell asleep as soon as the cabin began to pressurize, which I often do. I subsequently missed the first meal, and was informed of light snacks in the galley bar - this meant mini pretzels. We experienced some light turbulence perhaps 2 hours to 1.5 hours before landing, after which we were informed that the turbulence had caused the food for the economy cabin to spill (first class was apparently fine). So that meant I had not eaten at all on a 13.5 hour flight, and all I consumed was water. To add insult to injury, I was caught in a 2 hour immigration line, despite the presence of one world employees in the hall responsible for ushering passengers with tight transfer times, but refused to give me assistance on 2 occasions. I later missed my connecting flight and was forced to pay for my own hotel, transfers and subsistence, with no apology from the airline. Outrageous flying experience."

After spending 2 entire days sitting in the airport waiting, we were offered a "food voucher" for $30, were advised to go pick up our luggage first, but they failed to mention we would be unable to get back through DFW airport security just to eat!! We had to take a taxi back to our hotel for over $100 and they didn't offer help with that or anything else. This airline is the worst!!! Unless there is significant compensation offered, I will do anything and everything to destroy their reputation further. I'm in the marketing industry and am very capable of getting the word out to millions. American Airlines... 9/11...Never Forget."

An account follows: For a company who's customer service is already hanging by a very thin thread you would think that you would be doing everything to make your flights as smooth and pleasant as possible. Shall I elaborate on the utter frustration and boredom of being trapped in the San Francisco airport facing not one, not two, but what became SEVEN delays? Delays that have been caused by runway maintenance- a condition which someone in your company would have known about well before I got to the airport and that you simply did not plan for. A almost FOUR HOUR delay that could have been easily avoided if you just had things together and scheduled your planes around the affected runways. And let's not forget the additional delay caused when your flight crew simply couldn't be found to come to the gate so we could start getting underway! But no, I think the absolutely outstanding quintessential experience that defines flying with United airlines is this: After the above delays myself and my fellow passengers were finally able to board our flight- only to be told by the captain that there would be another brief delay while we waited for ANOTHER crew member because one of the pilots was near the end of their union hours. We sit on the plane stuck for another 20 minuets or so, only to be told they can't find anyone, and can we please get off the plane because our WHOLE FLIGHT is CANCELED. The kiosk I get to try and fix this is uncrowded but understaffed and run by clearly undertrained employees. The ones I'm dealing with keep having to ask each other for help, and give advice/plans that contradict one another. One of theme even takes what seems to be a personal call while 'assisting' me. When I finally get ahold of a supervisor I have to plead to get the next flight out of this godforsaken place, which I am reluctantly given as its with one of your competitors. Talking with other customer and airport staff is sounds very much like you are delaying/canceling flights for your own personal gain or at least not correcting flights around the situation to squeeze more money from the situation) it becomes quite clear that you are not only still incapable of accepting any real measure of accountability but entirely disgracefully unorganized. Almost 12 hours later I do finally make it home- thanks to American Airlines. Only to have the utter displeasure of one last interaction with United wherein when I pick up my bag your employees insist that I was delayed due to the weather and it wasn't your fault. It was entirely absolutely your fault."

Cons: "The plane door closed early and when we got to the gate in Atlanta the attendant was very rude and unwilling to help reroute us. We ended up flying American on the way there. After our return flight, we will not be using frontier again."
Cons: "Flight delayed with no email communication or on site staff communication found out from another passenger. No one from the airlines showed up to tell us. Gate changed 2 different times , again I found this out through a 3rd party. Even "first class" seats are packed like sardines, zero leg room and I am short at 5'4". My nefew also flew on this airlines a month prior and had a similar experience with the gate changes and delayed flight, but his flight was then actucally cancelled and he found out when he got to the airport, again with no prior communication from the airlines, he was told it was a "Staffing issue" . The airlines would not reimburse him his travel time or offer a hotel room since the next flight was not until the next morning. Needless to say I will never fly this airlines again, it was my first and last time using them."
Cons: "We were stuck on the runway for over an hour after we landed and getting our luggage was a DISASTER. They changed the location of our baggage claim carousel with minimal notice, only to change it back to the original carousel with NO NOTICE. It took over an hour again for our luggage to come out and it trickled in so slowly, that I ended up getting my bag a full two and a half hours after we landed. Awful experience."

They did nothing to assist me and finally after 40 minutes an airport employee that witnessed this borrowed a wheelchair from Delta and got me to my flight. Cons: "I'm glad that it was a short distance, after I got on the plan and saw what must be some of the thinnest seats in the industry, which I have not scientifically evaluated, but, I do feel free to express my opinion. I would not have liked sitting in this seat for a longer flight. Also, the smallest tabletop I've ever seen would not have been suitable if I had decided to open up my full-size laptop for use."
Cons: "Flight cancelled 10 minutes before boarding on last flight of the day. Next available flight was four days later! I had to take a refund and buy a ticket for the next day on another airline. From now on I'll just buy my ticket on another airline to start with and save the trouble or wasting my time with this airline."

Pros: "The plane seem fairly new and the boarding was fairly smooth. The crew was calm and even patient from my perspective, considering they were handling mad costumers after a 3&1/2 hour delay on christmast day. I saw good will on this flight from the crew. Remember when the pilots use to show you the cockpit? Well this pilot did to a kid as he entered the plane. The kid and his father were very happy, expeessing how cool is was as they continue to board. That, was a nice gesture and resulted in relaxing some people! The flight was fairly quick once we were in the air. Tha been said. This flight did t allow for me to rate entertaiment and food since it was too short for the crew to set that up."
Cons: "Well obviously the massive delayed! I, like many arrived at the airport with enough hours ahead to take this flight so say 6-7am only to sit around until 12:00pm in order to depart. That alone is a fairly black mark. In addition, the gate kept been moving around. Of course there are other planes to arrive and that needs to be understood but the constant changing and moving to distant gates was a bit tough on some of us."

Worse, I paid $150 for my ticket, and other passengers I spoke with paid either $100 or $38 - round trip. Apparently I didn't check your site on the days of the week that you offered your discounts. I then had to pay $40 x 2 for my little carry on bag, which was ridiculous. I plan never to fly with you again."

IF I had payed for the carry on at the gate it was going to be a-NOTHER 100.00 EACH WAY and a-NOTHER fee for a seat upgrade-Isle Woo Hoooo... an i-s-l-e seat. I WAS SO PISSED ABOUT THEIR "NO USER FRIENDLY -SOMETHING AWESOME IS HAPPPENING" PROCESS, I BOOKED ON ANOTHER AIRLINE. AAAnnndnNNNd it was CHEAPER than it would have been if I had continued to pay for a FRECKIN' CARRY ON EACH WAY with Spirit. After reading all the negative reviews on line... AFTER ...I bought my ticket, I decided it was worth the money to buy another ticket on a different airline and NOT have the hassles I experienced trying to pay for ONE carry on All caps.. YEAH .. I'm PRETTY PISSED. Lesson learned and it cost a pretty penny, but I'm getting my moneys worth here and now. Save you money and fly with someone else.. It'll be cheaper in the long run and I won't possibly "stroke out" with frustration trying to make arrangements."

Cons: "There was no indication anywhere in the reservation process of the costs of bag checks and the "privilege" of a carry on. I was also never sent an email prompting me to check in online and check bags there. (I'm told it's rather cheap if you do it that way) Instead, I was greeted with a 49 dollar fee for my carry on, and 53 dollar fee for my checked bag. That was bumped up another 30 dollars when I discovered bags above 45 lbs are charged extra on spirit. I ended spending more than twice the value of my ticket just for bags, for markups I was never told of and could not of reasonably anticipated as a consumer. This, combined with less than professional conduct from spirit flight attendants, fellow passengers, and the ridiculously uncomfortable conditions on the plane, means I will never be flying with spirit again, and will trust kayak much less. As a comprehensive trip planning service, kayak should be able to generate plane travel costs, and have options to include associated costs such as baggage, with the price of the ticket in flight price tracking. This is a necessary feature for any company that provides a service like Kayak."

Service counter attendants were not friendly. I asked if I could fly standby on an earlier flight since I had gotten to the airport 4 hours early. I was told "This is not Southwest, you can't get on an earlier plane without paying $120 for it". Flight was changed to a new gate but wasn't updated on the monitor. I had to check flight aware to see what gate we were at. Flight attendants were rude and boasted about being the youngest flight crew in the sky, which is nothing to boast about. There are many veterans of the sky that exhibit amazing customer service and flight expertise. This Moto degrades those who have spent 20 + years in the sky making sure we are safe and comfortable. I would rather have a former fighter pilot with combat experience flying my plane. So spirit airlines, do I think you being young is an advantage over the other airlines, No. I care about customer service and safety. And I have yet to feel that from your airline. From the check-in counter to the flight attendants, the staff treats customers without respect and then charges you for it. I'm done."

Cons: "The airline continued to delay the evening flight all day. I called and asked if the airline could accommodate me on another flight to get me to my destination but said they couldn't. They only offered to refund my money and offered it very quickly as if this happens often. After delaying the flight all the way until midnight I arrived at the airport to check in and once again see if spirit could move me to a different flight or airline. The lady at the counter laughed at me and proceeded to tell me no. The flight ended up getting canceled and the next flight I could be moved to was over 24 hours later. Needless to say I ended up taking my money back and will not be using the gracious $50 credit the airline offered me. After checking the other flight that left later the weekend it was plagued with massive delays also. Not sure how this airline stays in business."
