Transfer in Doha was not easy. We didn’t have any breathing room and we had to rush. We had to a bus for transfer and another bus to board the connecting flight to Chennai. That was bad approach and difficult for older people to climb the steps.
Instead of 1 hour layover in Doha need to wait for 5 6 hours.
Baggage services at JFK and onboarding/check in crew are not available or responsive.
They told us our family of five couldn’t fly because our Covid tests weren’t at the correct time. After it was elevated to the fourth level, someone actually did the math like we did, and they realized we were right and let us on the flight. This made the experience extremely stressful and frustrating. The employees and especially the flight crew were nice, but not having their info straight tainted the trip. I know these are very challenging times for airlines as they navigate all the different restrictions from different countries, but something as simple as the test cutoff time for a 48 or 72 hour lead time for a scheduled flight ought to be easy to have ready beforehand. After all that drama, there was no “Sorry about that” or perk of any kind. Good lesson for us to make sure we have our facts straight before torpedoing somebody.
Could organize boarding better
Food should be supplied as per request. One meal option they are giving as per passenger request either vegetarian or non vegetarian. When real vegetarian people get to choose by that time all vegetarian meals are finished. Entertainment telugu movie collection is very poor. When 90% passengers are Telugu speaking there are only 2 Telugu movies whereas other language selection is more. Movies number should be based on passenger destinations

On those flights, I was denied boarding on the flight from Amsterdam to Frankfort because of miscommunication between Delta and KLM. Apparently, the staff who dealt with that problem did not note that the issue had occurred, so it looked like there were "out-of-sequence" segments on my initial flight and I was not allowed to check in electronically. It took several calls to KLM and Delta in Frankfurt to try to resolve the problem and finally it was determined that it could only be resolved at the airport. Other than a very nice KLM representative, the other people I talked to seemed unwilling to engage in helping me and sent me along to someone else. Although the problem was ultimately fixed, this was not a great customer service experience."

We joked, when we could hear each other, that we must've pissed someone at Delta off the last time we flew them. I have no idea why I had to get my seat assignment at the gate for this particular flight, or why I was put in the 'flying coffin' seat, but it made for a very unpleasant experience. Why even have that seat in the plane? Everyone pays a lot of money to fly these days and deserves better than that seat when doing so. just take those two seats out and give everyone else a little more leg room = much better passenger experience for everyone...my suggestion if Delta really cares about the quality of passenger experience."

KLM is never consistent with services. Sometimes you get lucky with great comfort and other times you are forced to squeeze in a box for a seat. The food is always subpar and they have become so unfriendly when you need help. But hey, they are always on time and they have good connections.
I do not know how, but, rude crew and counter personnel is here, rest of things looks pretty standard without any difference with other airlines, that was not the case in the past
The flight that you gave us, JQ7 from Melbourne did not exist. Therefore we had to stay in Melbourne for another 24 hours and find another new route and flights to return to Heathrow. All a strain and stress. Your service to us for the return journey useless. So far, I have not found that you have corrected any of your failings and therefore it could also happen again to others tomorrow, next week, or next month. The return journey was a total disaster.

KLM offer a superior flight experience - it is a shame their terrestrial customer servic does not match it!"
Pros: "The crew came to get me from the arrival gate to get to the departure gate since our plane was delayed. It helped to know that the airline was checking to make sure we made the flight."

Cons: "Information on KLM website and flight status said 50 minutes delay and was never updated with the true status. 3 hours before we took off. KLM blamed the fog at Manchester but to be honest most other flights seemed unaffected. Put up in an IBIS hotel and fed substandard food and shitty hotel room with an Aircon unit that clunks into action every 30 seconds keeping me awake. It's external so I can't switch it off. Being given a 10 Euro voucher for food at the airport when most food and a drink will cost you 12 to 15 euros."

Finnair was great - superior to BA in all respects
The main stewardess was terrific: friendly, with a nice wit and terrific German.
The check in was delayed by 20min as the lady could not see that I had already paid for the checked in luggage, and wanted to charge me! I showed her the receipts of the payment and she made a long phone conversation to another staff member and finally accepted my receipt. When she realised that I had booked with kiwi.com her comment was ’dont ever book with them again, we have so much trouble getting the information we need’ Thats not good advertisement for your organisation!!
Air France bumped us without notice due to overbook. All other flights were overbooked. Had to pay $400 for a train to Bordeaux. Luggage was never returned to us. Now in Bordeaux for a week without any of our belongings. Not sure the flights back to the US will be honored. Worse travel experience of my life.
Business class crew was extremely helpful and pleasant. Breakfast likewise - tasty, healthy and substantial. All in all, the flight itself was great, so kudos to Finnair. What a contrast, then, to the pitiable Terminal 8 at JFK, where it was almost impossible to even find a seat (no exaggeration!) before security.

Cons: "Not only the first flight got delayed for over 2 hours. I had to re-book the second - connecting - flight because of that. Now it made my layover instead of 1 h 45 m - 5 hours! Then the second flight got delayed!! So instead of 5 hours layover it was over 7 hours!!! Very inconvenient and upsetting experience. The only reason I booked these particular flights is because they were advertized as "the shortest trip" time on your website..."
Pros: "Boarding was ok in Dublin, even though they habitually use one of the poor gates with inadequate seating and entry to the plane from the tarmac, not via a bridge. queing and check in were well managed however."

Pros: "This flight was co-shared by British airways. After our horrible flight from San Diego to London, we decided to upgrade our returning flight from London to San Diego to a economy plus premier. This time the plane seems newer and recently refurbished. The seat can recline more, with lump bar support and nice foot/leg rest. It has a bit more legroom. The cabin is nice and new with large view touchscreen TV for each seat. Gluten free meal was good, I'm just glad they finally boarded the plane with my GF meal (after repeated unsuccessful attempts). The service was great, our BA attendants were polite and attentive."
