They gave out immigration and customs papers out, but refused to give pen. I literally didn't had one and answer from the crew was like that. " Excuse me do you have a pen by any chance?" . "NO! I dont! asked them" pointing out to other crew members, -this is the best part- the female stewardess had clearly visibly a pen in her front shirt pocket! Sitting around and trying to kill time and no pen still. While busy with food and other stuff, i fell asleep. Then after a while when going to the restroom i asked the male steward if he would have a pen please, he pointed out they dont have any pens. ( please note he marked on his check board, who is getting which meal on the first class)"

Rebooked using the mobile app but could not check in on mobile or at the kiosk. Waited in line for almost 2 hours for AA to simply check us in and print passes. The flight did not get catering refreshed after landing in DC so no refreshments or snacks were offered during the flight home."

By the time the cart reached my row, all the food options were literally sold out. I ate the free cookie and had some apple juice, but wanted something with some protein. The zipper was torn away from the lining so that it no longer closes all the way. There items hanging out of the gap. What was happening in the basement that caused at least 4 damaged bags?"
Pros: "the plane, a 380, had comfortable seats, fewer occupants, more and easier access to bathrooms, did not like the larger plane I flew on going to Australia, it held 700 persons could physically reach the lights and when on, they didn't disturb anyone vegetarian food was delicious and nutritionally sound and varied love the soft blankets"

No snacks were passed out during this flight or during the time we had to wait. The crew was hiding in the back of the plane giggling and gossiping about people which I found to be very rude. I could hear their whole conversation making my trip a terrible experience."

Pros: "This is not a long flight (Grand Rapids, MI to Newark, NJ: just under 2 hours). There was a minor delay for departure of 20 minutes that Kayak and United kept us well aware of. The Grand Rapids, Ml airport is one of my new favorites -it's small, friendly, comfortable and quick and easy to navigate."

Finally after waiting about 20 minutes it popped back up on the screen and them arrived. This is the second time this has happened to me in Columbus and I don't fly there too often"
Cons: "Our plane was delayed leaving Grand Rapids. Once in Houston there was no gate available causing another 10 minute delay. All bags were required to be checked plane side so once we finally got off the plane it took another 10 minutes to get our bags. Many passengers had tight connections and had to rush to their next flight. My connection was already tight as it was - and I had to go to a completely different terminal very far from where I was to catch it. Five of us were on that flight connecting to San Diego. We finally made it to the gate. The plane was still there but the door was closed so we were not allowed to board. It was the last flight out so we were stranded in Houston overnight. This caused me to miss a very important medical appointment this morning - and to have to cancel client sessions leading to a significant loss of income."

Cons: "Seats are a little tight. I'm a 6'4" male knees always in the back of a seat makes for an uncomfortable ride. However the seats are the most comfortable one been on in a nation wide travel."

Cons: "There should be a message when booking through travel sites about having to pay additionally for your seat and even carry-on baggage at the time of check-in. This never used to be policy for Frontier and I was shocked to pay $68 from Columbus to Denver and then $58 on the way back just for my carry-on and seat. I also had two unattended toddlers behind me on the way home which were disturbing the entire flight. Their mother chose to sit across the aisle for some reason and they were literally screaming the entire way. Perhaps an adult or parental guardian should be required to sit with children under the age of 6? Come on."
Pros: "What I like best is the update I get on my phone, thus during delays and how long the flight takes. I actually bought this ticket for a friend and it made trip of going to pick him up from the airport very easy."

My husband and I would have had to pay an additional $30 to sit next to each other. On the flight out, the stewardess asked us if we wanted to buy any food or drinks, but never offered even free water. The seats are horribly uncomfortable. I was in the middle seat on a red eye, and I was so cramped and sore, I couldn't fall asleep for more than a minute. I landed feeling exhausted, sore, and miserable. This was my first and last time flying on Frontier."

Pros: "value and staff helpfulness. Also, I think it is good to see an airline discourage carry on baggage via higher pricing. Too many passengers bring large bags onto flights that seem dangerous and much too awkward getting on and off plane."
Cons: "The seats I purchased had additional leg room. I appreciated that, but the seats were cramped shoulder to shoulder and I was made very uncomfortable between two men with broad shoulders. One other thing: on this 4 hour overnight flight, I found the seats to be very uncomfortable with thin padding and no real head rest. My tailbone hurt."

Pros: "I am not the type of person to complain about something that is expensive, if I am receiving the services I am paying for. Therefore, I cannot complain too much about Frontier since I paid so little and received what was promised: a round-trip flight at an affordable price. I understand that, in order to be competitive, stay open for business, and keep rates low, Frontier must find additional ways to accrue income besides the base fare. However, literally everything beyond a basic ticket was vastly overpriced. "You want to bring more than two tee-shirts and a book? $30." "You want a childs ration of nuts and a soda in flight? $12. You can place them on your 3 inch tray table." And then, as we near the end of an already insufferably uncomfortable flight, we must endure a 20 minute long speech over the PA about the Frontier rewards credit card. I truly appreciate that Frontier Airlines offers competitively unheard of rates for a basic fare. But aside from being allowed to bring a only a change of shirt to Denver for the weekend, sitting in a dingy/cramped plane next to a stranger because I would not pay $42 extra to sit next to a friend, and being forced to listen to the desperate plea of a credit card signup quota, I will next time happily pay the traditional rate to take a flight somewhere where I am treated like I am not a passenger on a Malaysian Airlines flight that has somewhere along the way become lost between the importance of customer satisfaction and competitive prices."

Cons: "I just took a small backpack and duffel bag. They made me pay $40 each way for the duffel bag! I thought every airline at least gave you a personal item and carry-on. This put me in a position of having to put $80 on my personal card for a work trip or to abandon my bag. Ridiculous! I don't like being put in that situation and will remember it next time I go to book. I also recognize they need to make some money off of snacks and drinks, but to not even provide a complimentary drink of water feels extra stingy too."

Pros: "Everything was terrible. First i wasnt notified anywhere on my purchase that Frontier charges a fee for checked bags ANd carry ones!! Then everyone was super rude at me at chekc in. In Denver every check in machine wsd malfunctioninf. This caused huge lines and several people were visibly pissed cuz they misse their flights. I was rudely treated too and yelled at because i inquired how is it possible all machines wre down. Apparently this happens to them in a weekly basis."

Cons: "The crew was so snobby. The head attendant was very condescending to everyone she talked to. She was most concerned that every one didn't get in her way. No one was allows even an arm in the isle. Her favorite quote was "this is your space (placing her hand right on either side of the passengers head), this is my space (signaling to the isle)"."
Cons: "I missed my flight Saturday the 24th. I wasn't given a credit at all I had to buy a whole new ticket. The flight was delayed as always with this airline, the planes are uncomfortable, and I'd rather pay more to fly with an airline that knows how to appreciates it's customers."

Gate attendant was rude to several people when the designated city on the gate "sign" changed but they were still boarding previous city. The seats are the most uncomfortable of any airline I have ever flown (I travel 25% for business)."

PAY EXTRA 4-Care for a Soda? PAY EXTRA 5-Tray table - the size of a business envelope? Really? 6-In-flight magazine? HA! Read the safety info or the back of the barf bag, that's all Frontier provides. 7-Paid $50 each to upgrade seats to front (1st class?) No refreshments, no amenities, just a bigger tray table and a reclining seat. For $50. Sat on tarmac for 1.5 hours in 90 degree heat. I know this because I could hear the pilot yelling over the radio that it was 90 degrees in the plane. No A/C while on tarmac because APU was down, according to pilot announcement. Everyone I talked to felt deceived by the online check in and the extra charge for seats (if you want to sit with your party, otherwise no guarantees). Bad representation, deceptive web check in, uncomfortable plane, zero amenities unless you PAY EXTRA. Sorry Frontier, but FAIL!!!!"

I had to drive another 3 hours to Cincinnati Airport to catch a flight 8 hours after original flight. I will not be booking with Frontier!"
Pros: "I really enjoyed my trip on Frontier airlines. It was efficient, the planes were clean and the staff friendly. I gave lower marks on food and entertainment because there was no entertainment aside from the magazines I brought and the food was a pay as you go affair, which I didn't use."

Pros: "the male flight attendant on our flight was spectacular. he was helpful during boarding, and was kind enough to not disturb our sleeping baby (which I'm sure the entire flight appreciated) while handling the flight. he was also friendly and quietly attentive throughout the flight. i regret not catching his name, but my wife and i both commented on how pleasant he was."
