Seats are comfortable and didn’t mind staying with the back upright. Flight attendants veery friendly and boarding was fast and easy.

Headrest was too short and there’s no seat back screen. More communication from the cockpit at the end would have been nice. Announcements were very hard to hear over the background plane noise.

temperature during flight. Freezing then hot, freezing then hot and never a comfortable temp. Food was terrible. Entrees were flavorless and smelled terrible. Time they served food made no sense at all either. Within the hour of getting on the plane, they served a meal which made no sense because most folks ate before getting on the plane. Stewardesses were not friendly (only 1 made me feel valued and welcomed)

Lots of food and wine/beer were provided at no additional cost and the first checked bag was free as is standard with British Airways. Basically I liked that American Airlines followed British Airways standards for the flight.

There were no personal entertainment devices, just a central tv for everyone to watch, and there were no charging outlets. The plane was probably from a museum it was so old. After boarding we sat in the plane without moving to the runway for 30 minutes just making the 8 hour flight even longer. The gate at the Lisbon airport was overly small and restrictive with everyone crammed in and unable to leave after initially entering.

Our original flight was delayed then cancelled. After assigning to another flight, it was delayed and gate changed about 10 times and was finally cancelled after it was boarded and left gate after 2am due to engine problem. We had to cancel our trip since it was a short trip for a funeral and we had missed it. AA offered no compensation and no apology (not during the whole night of delays and cancels).

Nothing, this was a miserable flight.

Gate at Philadelphia was tiny with not enough space for everyone on the plane, it was a 6 hour flight and no snacks beyond pretzels were available-not even for purchase. I'd just come off an 8 hour international flight where I was provided lunch, ice cream, a pot pie snack and frequent beverage service. Somehow as soon as you are flying domestic on a slightly shorter flight American Airlines thinks its okay to treat customers like garbage-nothing but some sad pretzels and 2 rounds of drink service was provided for a 6 hour flight. The seats were super uncomfortable with no head rest, no personal entertainment devices were provided, and there was no general entertainment for the whole plane-seriously I've never been so bored. I would have fallen asleep from boredom but the seat was too uncomfortable so I couldn't even do that. The plane landed in Seattle but sat without unloading passengers for 20 minutes because the gate crew wasn't ready. We didn't get our checked baggage for over an hour after landing. When asked, customer service reps said that the S gate was far from baggage claim-seriously I'm not sure how that is a reasonable excuse. Other airlines arrive into S gates and have timely baggage claim service. American Airlines has no standard for timely baggage claim service like other airlines (Alaska) so there were no repercussions for such late baggage service. We left the airport with our luggage over 90 minutes after the plane landed. The entire experience is just another example of American Airlines of why the terrorists won't even fly American Airlines. I was seriously disappointed to find out that the British Airways flights we booked were operated by American instead of BA crews. I seriously will never select this option (or fly American) again if I can help it.

Quick check in even though it was a full flight!

Only entertainment option is your own personal device but the WiFi is horrible! After finally connecting, I could not even get to the 2nd step which is simply going to this website to enjoy the entertainment. I even made sure I downloaded the app and it just did not work. So glad I had music on my phone and went to sleep.

United flight delayed and caused me to have to change my connecting fight. Then that flight was delayed causing an extremely late arrival into Ithaca. Last time I flew United I said NEVER again. After this last delay, I will NEVER fly United again!

I quit flying United years ago because of their poor management including delays and poor custimer service. I was stuck with United for these flights as my options were limited. Flight delayed, no surprise I guess. And now waiting for flight home that is delayed so I will miss my connecting flight.

We landed in NYC -- although it was first announced as Dulles.

This flight was on Canadian Air under the auspices of United. I was not allowed into the United Club lounge despite the fact that I had business class ticket. I was informed that a business class ticket isn't sufficient for using the lounge when flying domestic. It is only good when flying international. They call that customer service. I generally avoid domestic airlines because of the customer service. The flight attendants were not happy to serve you. It's a small flight but they didn't even offer a snack -- you had to ask for it. And then they brought over a small basket with nuts, chips, candy bars, and a muffin. I took a muffin and it stuck to the roof of my mouth -- very poor quality. When I asked for a snack the flight attendant replied cocktail or soft drink never saying whether or not a snack was available.. She said this a couple of times before I could repeat that I wanted a snack to which she replied you want something to drink with that. I've been on many short flights in Asia and they will deliver a full meal and you don't have to ask for it. There was no entertainment but United did send an email explaining how I could purchase entertainment to play on my own device.

Seat was okay. Flight Crew was okay. I got where I needed to.

Either Frontier or the third party I purchased my ticket through on Kayak (Kiwi.com) sold me a ticket as if it were a complete flight from point A to B with a layover in between. In reality however, it was two totally separate flights which required me to go to the Frontier ticketing counter upon my arrival at my layover destination, get a ticket printed for my second flight, pay to recheck my bag a second time ($45 x2 = $90 which was total BS), go through security again (also BS) only to walk back clear to the other side of the airport where I just was. To top it all off, our flight took off late and upon arrival we didn't even have a jet bridge available. So, all of the passengers had to get off on the tarmac and wait to be bussed from wherever we were all the way to the main terminal. Then they switched the baggage claim caracul on us. What a mess. This will probably be the last time I buy a ticket on Kayak, Kiwi and possibly even Frontier.

The crew was in a difficult situation, and they handled it well.

We sat on the tarmac for an hour because, as the captain informed us, “some paperwork had to be completed.” Okay, these things happen. But then to fail to offer complimentary snacks and beverages to make up for it strikes me as a poor miscalculation. How easy it would have been ro say, “We’re sorry for the delay, enjoy these snacks and beverages on us”? I overheard more than one pasenger remark that they would not br flying Frontier again anytime soon.

You must pay extra for everything and on top of it the flight attendants only talk about signing you up for the credit card it’s like a stupid commercial the whole flight. Also the carry on bag fee is different for every passenger my wife and I were charged to different prices and the seats suck knees hit the back of the seat in front of you and you must sit straight up the whole flight not even room for a full size try table.

The 2 hour delay due to the ground crew not having it together, this reason coming from the pilot. Flight attendant was complaining more than any of us passages. Even though 85% of us missed our connecting flights. After boarding the plane, the smell of the restroom, we all had to deplane.

The jet was nice. I was in Economy Plus. So, I had a little more room. There were no TV’s in the back of the seats in front of me. You have to have an tablet, and connect it to their wifi to watch a movie. (You don’t have to go through paying for internet. Just Connect to the wireless access point and then go to www.unitedwifi.com. From there you can click on Entertainment to watch movies for free. Or, you can see flight details like ETA, altitude, and speed from clicking on the top-right of the page.)

I didn’t like that the flight attendant didn’t even ask me if I wanted to buy a snack pack. I was starving, and had read the menu in their magazine in preparation to order food. She came by and asked me if I wanted something to drink. I said Coke please. She gave me a tiny cup of Coke which contained a little more than a swig of Coke, and then handed me a tiny pack of pretzels before turning away to serve the next guest. This was a 2hr flight. So, no big deal really. I wasn’t going to starve to death. But, I never got to eat. By the time the food service cleared and they were making their rounds to gather trash before landing, it was really too late to address the issue with them. So, I just sucked it up and spent my $9.99 elsewhere.

The crew was in a difficult situation, and they handled it well.

We sat on the tarmac for an hour because, as the captain informed us, “some paperwork had to be completed.” Okay, these things happen. But then to fail to offer complimentary snacks and beverages to make up for it strikes me as a poor miscalculation. How easy it would have been ro say, “We’re sorry for the delay, enjoy these snacks and beverages on us”? I overheard more than one pasenger remark that they would not br flying Frontier again anytime soon.

Poor and confusing nternet communication for flight changes, delays and checki-in capibility, prior to flight. Obtaining bording passes. Ticket purchase stated $148.00 price charged sraref $191.00. My frequent flyer account locked and then when I did get help my prior air miles were set back to zero. Upon arrival to Denver faulty equipment delayed disembarking for 25 mins. Excessive bag expenses and seats do not recline,

You must pay extra for everything and on top of it the flight attendants only talk about signing you up for the credit card it’s like a stupid commercial the whole flight. Also the carry on bag fee is different for every passenger my wife and I were charged to different prices and the seats suck knees hit the back of the seat in front of you and you must sit straight up the whole flight not even room for a full size try table.

Our original flight was delayed then cancelled. After assigning to another flight, it was delayed and gate changed about 10 times and was finally cancelled after it was boarded and left gate after 2am due to engine problem. We had to cancel our trip since it was a short trip for a funeral and we had missed it. AA offered no compensation and no apology (not during the whole night of delays and cancels).

The Tiny seats. I’m smaller (5’7 135 lbs) and was sitting next to a regular sized man (6’ 175lbs) and we had no room.

Nothing, the seats were really horrendous, the head rest was in such an awkward position that it was better to attempt to hunch over and try to sleep on the tray. The lack of leg room as well made it equally uncomfortable. Seriously, the most uncomfortable flight I have ever been on.

The jet was nice. I was in Economy Plus. So, I had a little more room. There were no TV’s in the back of the seats in front of me. You have to have an tablet, and connect it to their wifi to watch a movie. (You don’t have to go through paying for internet. Just Connect to the wireless access point and then go to www.unitedwifi.com. From there you can click on Entertainment to watch movies for free. Or, you can see flight details like ETA, altitude, and speed from clicking on the top-right of the page.)

I didn’t like that the flight attendant didn’t even ask me if I wanted to buy a snack pack. I was starving, and had read the menu in their magazine in preparation to order food. She came by and asked me if I wanted something to drink. I said Coke please. She gave me a tiny cup of Coke which contained a little more than a swig of Coke, and then handed me a tiny pack of pretzels before turning away to serve the next guest. This was a 2hr flight. So, no big deal really. I wasn’t going to starve to death. But, I never got to eat. By the time the food service cleared and they were making their rounds to gather trash before landing, it was really too late to address the issue with them. So, I just sucked it up and spent my $9.99 elsewhere.

We landed in NYC -- although it was first announced as Dulles.

This flight was on Canadian Air under the auspices of United. I was not allowed into the United Club lounge despite the fact that I had business class ticket. I was informed that a business class ticket isn't sufficient for using the lounge when flying domestic. It is only good when flying international. They call that customer service. I generally avoid domestic airlines because of the customer service. The flight attendants were not happy to serve you. It's a small flight but they didn't even offer a snack -- you had to ask for it. And then they brought over a small basket with nuts, chips, candy bars, and a muffin. I took a muffin and it stuck to the roof of my mouth -- very poor quality. When I asked for a snack the flight attendant replied cocktail or soft drink never saying whether or not a snack was available.. She said this a couple of times before I could repeat that I wanted a snack to which she replied you want something to drink with that. I've been on many short flights in Asia and they will deliver a full meal and you don't have to ask for it. There was no entertainment but United did send an email explaining how I could purchase entertainment to play on my own device.
