Cramped seats. No "food" service due to the short flight. When was the last time real food was served on any domestic flight? Crew not too friendly. Poor sound system to hear the pilot and flight attendants.
Overall good flight. Only downside is that the passenger next to me took up part of my seat in addition to hers, which was slightly uncomfortable but not a big deal.

When I showed him my disabled badge and said I would personally prefer NOT to be left standing for hours, he said 'so?'. It was a nightmare. It took hours and still wasn't sorted and in the end the immigration officers had to be called to the boarding area to allow us on the flight with non functioning boarding cards. It wasn't even our fault. REally upset about it."

I was very disappointed a 757 was used for an international flight! No attempt was made by staff to accomodate our family with a extra seat for the infant, even though there were a large number of rows with empty middle seats (4 of which were directly behind them!) The 1st indication of the beginning of the NIGHTMARE was when the plane arrived in Chicago and overshot the gate, this caused almost an hour delay! (We heard our crew saying "oops" while looking out the window at the plane arriving & then again when they were discussing it would have been faster if the plane had used a different method to get to the gate again.) This was then followed by a mechanical problem with a frozen water valve, requiring us to be de-iced x2! Then we started to taxi out and again had to return because of a hydraulic problem that required repair. I think we were delayed almost 3.5 hours. The crew did bring a round of water during the onground delays, and offered free drinks later in the flight. The icing on the cake was not getting the stroller back at the gate because there were no baggage handlers. I can't tell you how much FUN that was trying to corral a toddler & 3yr old with all our carry-on bags while getting thru customs! Did I mention in our haste to get off that plane we overlooked my daughter's winter maternity coat in the overhead! May be time to switch to the Friendlier Skies of United for our UK travel!"

When we got off in philly there was someone to give directions to connecting flights. That was too little too late . If we had not on our own looked up connection gate and map of the airport andwould have had to stand in line to ask we would have missed our international connection."

Cons: "Initially we thought we were flying with British Airways. We then had to do some digging to realize it was all out of American Airlines. Then we couldn't get proper boarding passes and luggage tags until one of the crew members spent a significant amount of time untangling each leg of our trip so they were in the proper order. We got delayed by 4 hours in Chicago and missed our connection in Manchester. We had another 5 hour wait there. By the time we got to Dublin, our bags didn't also arrive. After almost 24 hours of travel, we arrived but without all of our stuff."

Cons: "Planes were identified to have mechanical or electrical issues after leaving the gate for flight from Philldelphia and to Philadelphia. Things were ultimately fixed but with significant delays. Crew as very accommodating during this time however."

I asked if there was a spare pillow because I had a bad back and needed lumbar support. Also we paid a lot extra to book our seats and I could really not see why. I assume it was for the pleasure of sitting together!"

Cons: "I booked this as Finnair flight. Finnair is in terminal 5 (international) at ORD. There was nobody at the desk... I was getting nervous. I had to look at my Kayak app for info about my flight ... It was operated by American Airlines out of Terminal 3. I barely made my flight. You should be more explicit on the front end so these mess ups don't happen."

Cons: "while on my way to the airport i got a message that my flight was cancelled. luckily i had a friend who took care of putting me on another flight to toronto. weather created changes but just sending a message your flight is cancelled is not the right way to deal with things. when finally arriving to toronot i had to rush to my flight to tel aviv, it was insane, just to realize that also this flight was postponed due to the weather. air canada should be more involved in helping travelers to deal with their connections."

Cons: "Most uncomfortable flight I can remember in last couple years. My knees were squeezed into the seat in front, and when they reclined, the seat was like 1.5 cellphone lengths from my face. The particular route from SD to Toronto squeezes 15 more seats on this popular plane, making it the least knee room I can remember. I wouldnt say Air Canada has less legroom as a generalization, but this route and plane assigned has the least. I guess if you're taller, do a little research on the planes for your routes. No actual wi-fi was kind of annoying. You can access some content, but no real internet connection."

Pros: "Decent movie selection on one of my flights"
Cons: "I had booked my Air Canada trip and had a single stop-over while I switched to a different plane. Both of these planes were Air Canada. I Even though I made it through Customs in the shortest time possible, and back through security, I still managed to narrowly make my second flight. They were final-calling my name and actually taking off earlier than expected. Had I been 2 more minutes late, my flight would probably have taken off. I didn't check any bags either, so had I checked one, I don't think I would have made my second flight."
Pros: "Flight was over an hour late Boarding was chaotic from the airport staff"
Cons: "The flight was delayed for an hour, and a number of passengers lost connecting flights. The customer service was very uncooperative in rescheduling flights for us. in my case again the rescheduled flight was inoperative in the next day. Air Canada has been very disappointing in service. I really hope that I will be able adhere to my promise to myself not to fly with Air Canada in my life."

Cons: "The headphone jack on my seat was broken which for a 5.5 hour flight is quite difficult. The only compensation the air flight attendant offered was a glass of wine,which I couldn't drink due to being on medication. I had purchased 3 meals and 2 snacks so she could have comped one of them. This is the second time I experienced this on Air Canada with little to no appropriate service recovery. I had my iPad~an offer of free wii fii would have also been an option"
Cons: "After making if through a very busy customs and security line i make it to my gate only to find out that they lost my bag and they can't let me on my flight. I have been waiting in line for 3 hours to know what they are going to do to fix it and i'm still waiting.... i have flown with them before and it was fine but this is just ridiculous."

Cons: "The manager named Jennifer at Palm beach airport was extremely rude. When her attitude was pointed out, she threatened to remove us (including a toddler) from the flight. She basically said "I'm the manager I can do what I want". Extremely unprofessional and a very unpleasant situation."
Pros: "Small plane but very comfortable. This flight as well as the other 3 we were on were on time with a professional staff. 5 Stars for this Air Canada!"

Cons: "Poor room service, no TV for 10 h long flight, meals were small and not tasty, wine or beer has to be bought. Parents with little babies were sitting in all passengers area. I was hungry and tired after this flight."

Cons: "The plane was cramped and provided absolutely nothing by way of entertainment. We traveled Europe so we packed light - no iPads or computers. There were no TVs on the planes (unless you wanted to pay $10 to borrow an iPad). I refuse when the flight itself was $500! This left us to do nothing for 8.5 hours. Not my idea of fun."
Cons: "We missed our flight. OK, our fault. Any attempts to contact the airline were unsuccessful. They did not have an office in the airport and the numbers we were given at the information desk to US, Canada, or the local representative were not responsive. We ended up buying tickets for another airline. We were lucky to get the last minute fares for $630 one way. Air Canada's price was over $6,000. An e-mail from the airline reminding of the check-in time would have prevented all this."

Always filled to the brim. I've heard flight attendants bashing passengers about it openly. Maybe if you didn't charge $25 per bag per leg people wouldn't do this. Something reasonable like 5-10$ would help this problem HUGE."

I had to call Air Canada, which charged me for the call (15 centimes per minute) then put me on hold, only to finally learn that I could only check in in person because we were traveling with a pet. --- We paid extra for preferential seating, and when we got to the counter were told that we could not have those seats bcs we were traveling with a pet - the pet was acknowledged on our records and travel documents, yet the company allowed us to sign up for preferential seating, then would not let us access those seats, but our previously reserved window seats were gone and we were assigned aisle and center seats, which were then changed again to other aisle and center seats. --- Half the flights on the departure board, including ours, were delayed, alhto there were no weather problems. Both our plane and the plane in the gate next to where we were waiting had mechanical problems - a coincidence, or a repeated failing?"
Cons: "After waiting 30 minutes after our boarding time, I got an email on my phone saying the gate had changed. No one at the current gate knew anything about it and I went to ask but no one could be found. I asked a man sitting behind the gate, who happened to be the pilot, and he also knew nothing about it. Needless to say, the gate changed and absolutely nobody was told about it. 2 hours later, our flight finally took off, and I was thanked by the pilot for getting us to the right gate... At least he provided a little humor to the situation! Plane also wasn't cleaned, pretzels and trash all over the floor."

Cons: "Air line decided they didn't want me to take my connecting flight. Removed my luggage without consulting with me. Offered me a disgusting hotel. Forced me to pay out of pocket for food, taxis, transfers and my own hotel choice. Staff were so rude. No explanation to why they removed my bags. I made it in plenty of time for my connecting flight but airline had just decided. No staff member was interested in answering my questions or helping. They all just wanted to sod off home. they just didn't care."

Cons: "Flight attendants could be more aware of his/her surroundings. For example, I was either stepped on (as a result, being woken up) or my backpack was stepped on several times when an attendant was walking down the aisle, and neither of those things were sticking out into the aisle. This has rarely happened to me on trans-Pacific flights (more crowded, longer flights) so I can only attribute it to the carelessness of the attendants and/or the aisle width but since I think aisle width follows international standards it's more likely the former."

Cons: "The flight was scheduled to leave Cancun at 6:00 p.m. and arrive in Montreal at 11:00 p.m. It did not leave until after 8:00 p.m. And I could not get any information from an agent. I actually emailed my friend in Canada and she was able to get information online. We did not arrive in Montreal until after 1:00 a.m. The plane was incredibly cramped, our knees were right up against the forward seat. There was no compensation for being late...a snack or free drink, etc."
Cons: "I was not able to select the seat in advance although I purchased the ticket way in advance. We should be able to choose a seat online in advance. Especially when you are traveling with another family member a friend, you don't want be seated away from each other. That was one of the issues I had with Air Canada."

Cons: "My flight was delayed several times and the gate was also changed. I recognize that safety is important, but passengers should be offered snacks when their flight is delayed for several hours."
Cons: "As every other international flight I've been on has included a lot of food/wine/beer, this was a big disappointment for two long flights. In addition there were no in flight screens. I had a laptop but it is inconvenient to have that out while trying to do things in a small space. The chairs were also really uncomfortable, more than usual."
