Part of the first class package is luggage. We checked our luggage in easily but our luggage should be one of the first bags off when we land. On both flights this was not the case. The lounge in Kauai is awful. Food and drinks were excellent on the flight. Service was attentive. On the flight over we arrived 45 minutes early. Like last time the same thing happened in a previous flight. The problem both times was waiting in the plane for 30 minutes so that a spot to unload could open.
Flew first class. No headrest screens on either flight and the one flight had no foot rests either.

We tried for days to use online Alaska Airline app we needed to know what Gate to depart from . When we got there we were given a paper boarding ticket with the wrong gate on it . We almost missed this flight . It caused great stress and caused a health side effect. The previous flights April 24 started hour late mechanical issues . We were not allowed to depart plane in time to get correct gate and missed our flight .
Couldn’t order food for the family because all the good food was unavailable. We opted for bringing something on with us. I also didn’t like that I had to have T-mobile for online movies. Stupid.
Had to buy a snack box as I am gluten free. They should be free in extra comfort. Food they provided was awful. Not enough water stops.
You can standby to get on earlier flight if the seat is open.

My experience will Southwest was good. I wish there was more entertainment and the boarding process was slow at time but other than that my experience was great definitely will be flying with SouthWest again.
Flight was delayed by 2 hours, meaning that a flight to Dwnver which should have arrived at 11pm came into the airport at 1 am. Made for a very long day.
I think Southwest is the number one airline that anyone can fly I have flown for the first time Frontier and what a joke and their customer service United was a very strange experience I'm only sticking to Southwest from here on out for sure

Boarding process, crew were good. But the seats were so uncomfortable that was all I could focus on. I literally had to sit forward so that all 3 of us could fit in row. I will try to avoid Southwest in the future for any flights over 60 minutes.

Boarding was quick. The flight itself was good. However, no charging ports for cell phones. Also, the food provided was just a few snacks. For a 5-hr flight, I would expect at least a sandwich.
Boarding was well explained and smooth. The flight was short, so there was no time for snacks. They did offer water or juice, though.

I love the fact that Southwest airlines has a direct flight from Honolulu to Las Vegas and Las Vegas to Honolulu. The only downside was flying on Southwest is they do not provide meals even if they charged you they do not provide meals. They do provide a free snack that consists of chips pretzels cheese and a cookie. They do serve free drink and if you book the premium flight then you get your choice of an alcoholic beverage. The seats are small so if you are not traveling with three people plan on someone sitting next to you.

Omg the disaster at the security was on another level! “Go to this end, sorry closed now, go to that end”. Ridiculous! This took over an hour! As far as the airline was concerned although I booked nearly a year ago I couldn’t get my bag tag - stand in another 15 minute line or my seat on Hawaiian Airlines- 5 more minutes! Then my TSA status was denied. Like what the heck! Makes a person not want to travel with this amount of incompetence
The Honolulu Hub needs 2 to 3 times the amount of things to do as well as shuttles that transport to/from gates and terminals. Arriving from OCONUS locations; transferring to CONUS locations its a miserable experience. Fetching and re-checking bags, then returning to a gate across the airport take longer than any other large airport. If youre confused by what I mean, the process goes like this: Disembark plane Walk a mile to the main terminal Walk half a mile to baggage claim Wait 40 minutes for baggage Walk a mile to re-check-in baggage Wait 20 minutes for checking in those bags Fo back through the wrong TSA line because the signage is poor Almost miss the connecting flight because your gate is across the airport.
Very accommodating on flight changes when something came up. Definitely felt a notch above other airlines.
Hawaiian airlines has awful customer service. Told me to keep a flight I wasn’t boarding, instead of rebooking me under two separate reservations, which caused my whole reservation to be canceled. Major issues with leadership and management. The staff at Hilo was reluctant to give me a refund, so I had to by a first class ticket in order to get on a flight the same time as my partner. The blame was pointed at me without sincere apology until the supervisor came out, who also apparently had no authority to refund me. Still waiting on correspondence from the airline days later.
I love that every seat has a USB charger. The seats were comfortable and everyone was friendly! I can't think of anything I would improve.
This flight was delayed approximately 4 hours due to bad weather in HNL.
The plane is extremely loud and there’s no place to charge devices.
Couldn’t checkin online or by phone. Contacted Hawaii and blamed me saying something was wrong on my end. Get to the airport morning of flight and a large line is formed with people who couldn’t check in online, phone, or at the kiosk. Multiple Hawaii airline staff walking around but none to help or willing to get someone to help. Had to go to other side of airport to another customer service desk to get checked in. Staff was generally rude. First and last time flying Hawaiian airlines.
My only two issues with the flight were, Flight attendants were too pushy complaining about me listening to a podcast that I could barely hear without my headphones on when nobody around me was bothered by my actions only the flight attendant. Annoying. The food was horrendous compared to other airlines food no healthy food available. Dead animal flesh and or genetically modified trash is NOT food.
This was an overnight flight, and in the morning they did know coffee service. How you can throw passengers in a San Francisco airport at 5:40 a.m. in the morning and not giving them Coffee is a crime.
They told us yesterday APR21st that they were cleaning the plane and we got delayed. After that they said they didn't had any crew for the flight so they cancelled the flight till next day.
Packed in plane small uncomfortable seats elbow to elbow nobody wants to be in that situation for the money they paid
Overall, the flight was good. Lounge access should be with all business class tickets.

Flight arrived 30 min early and bag was waiting at the baggage pickup. United Club HNL was one of the nicest in the system
The entertainment available didn’t work for anyone on the flight. Long 6 hr flight with no entertainment option and the staff didn’t know until an hour into the flight when we made sure they knew about it. They had no way to fix it.
