Good, but because I fly internationally I found the food and service lousy compared to European standards. You should include a regular small mean (and not a lousy sandwich) and ear phones. People who travel from Europe are not aware of limited services.
It was not clear the check in shd be at Hawaiian Terminal 1. I got dropped off at Alaska Terminal 2. I did the long walk from terminal 2 to 1. Fortunately I didn’t have a check in bag.
Hawaiian Airlines, like most US-based ones, constantly provide sub-par service and pack their planes to the max with all kinds of last-minute-purchase schemes. As a result, it makes every flight so uncomfortable and generates high health risk for its passengers. In one word, GREED rules the day!
I would've liked to have the seat tablets like before to view movies, with long travels not everyone carries tablets to view movies. And phones are not worth it because screens to small.
I flew from San Francisco to Honolulu on Hawaiian Airlines. The flight was operated by Alaska Airlines. Everything was fantastic. On the return flight from Honolulu to San Francisco, boarding was chaotic. They called each boarding group 1 through 6 very quickly, and everyone just ran and got in a very long line. There was no enforcement of boarding groups. Carry-on rules were not followed, and by the time I boarded the plane, there was barely any overhead space. I was boarding group 4. The crew was very professional, and the Hawaiian Airlines terminal in Honolulu was beautiful. I wish the rest of Honolulu Airport looked like the Hawaiian Airlines Terminal.
Always delayed, inadequate availability of room for baggage but the crew were good & approachable.
It would have been perfect if it had not been the fact that departure was delayed.
The flight overall was mediocre for me. But the point is that it got us to our destination safely.
Mediocre is best way to describe. Bare bones narrow seats, Dirty pulldown tray, unfriendly cabin crew who were in a hurry to serve tiny drinks and tiny snacks. (Compared to much better Hawaiian Airlines experience, .. no comparison!)
The flight was late. The crew was rude. There was no food. Cramped and uncomfortable. Nothing about this flight was good.
Good but I prefer choose your own seat. With the new assigned seats they should board from the back I see no advantage to this new boarding. Just like every other airline
Boarding process, crew were good. But the seats were so uncomfortable that was all I could focus on. I literally had to sit forward so that all 3 of us could fit in row. I will try to avoid Southwest in the future for any flights over 60 minutes.
Forget beverage, they didn't even have water for half the passangers?
Boarding was quick. The flight itself was good. However, no charging ports for cell phones. Also, the food provided was just a few snacks. For a 5-hr flight, I would expect at least a sandwich.
The flight was very short, 45 mins, therefore no snacks/drinks were provided; there should be a NA option for food and entertainment survey questions. Also, there were no charging ports onboard for cell phones. My experience was overall positive.
Nice and easy. You can't go wrong with the value and quality or Southwest.
I love the fact that Southwest airlines has a direct flight from Honolulu to Las Vegas and Las Vegas to Honolulu. The only downside was flying on Southwest is they do not provide meals even if they charged you they do not provide meals. They do provide a free snack that consists of chips pretzels cheese and a cookie. They do serve free drink and if you book the premium flight then you get your choice of an alcoholic beverage. The seats are small so if you are not traveling with three people plan on someone sitting next to you.
I loved that the flight was not as full, so we were able to have seats available between us. I just wish wipes are available as we board so that we can clean our areas, as the window area was quite dirty in my case, on both legs of this trip, and it was hard getting the flight attendant's attention for this. She also seemed a bit stingy with the free drinks. I asked for two cups of drinks; she brought one and then waited until I fell asleep and brought the other. Not sure why...

I liked the Starlink WiFi but didn't like how they said they were the only airline to offer a free meal and it turns out to be just a standalone sandwich and then charge for snacks to go with it. Rather have the free snacks like Southwest, but have the option to purchase a decent meal for a 5+ hour flight.
Flying with Hawaiian Airlines is a treat! They have the best crew, food and drinks! I’ve always enjoyed flying with Hawaiian Airlines and will continue to use them!
We decided to take our mom on vacation but we were worried how well she will do on the flight, she's a senior and required special accommodations such as transport chair since she can't stand for long periods. To our surprise my whole family was given priority boarding, my mom was given chair, we were not standing in line and were given seats in good area next to our mom. A+ experience!
Ok but why they need to sell the ear buds?
I loved flying Hawaiian Air! We didn’t pay to sit together, but we were able to anyway. They had usb charging ports and even outlets in some seats. They served a hot sandwich that was not very good, but we were still pleasantly surprised. The staff was very nice. The seats really made my booty hurt but maybe I’m just not used to sitting so long. Also, the AC was really cold even though I was wearing pants, a hoodie, and a light blanket.
Everyone great! Did not sitting behind the flight attendant jumpsuit. Nowhere to put my bag or feet.
I really love flying Hawaiian. From the uniforms, to the decor to the soft purple lighting it is truly an exceptional experience. I haven’t been to Long Beach Airport in over 10 years, but I was impressed with the ease of renting a car compared to LAX. I might be switching my flights to this destination from here on out!

First flight was CANCELLED Second flight was rerouted due to mechanical issues Third flight was delayed To summarize, three strikes and you're out! Won't be flying Hawaiian Airlines in the future.
