Cons: "Kayak a howed my gate as something that didn’t exist at the terminal. I went to a kayak help desk to have a ticket printed that showed my TSA precheck because it wasn’t showing on my mobile ticket, and no one was there to help. I waisted for 10 mins. It then took me nearly 2 hours to get through security. I asked if I could get through quicker and was told I could not, despite it being passed my boarding time. I then ran to my gate where I waited for another 10 mins (no one was there, again) and then an employee came out and said they couldn’t let anyone board once the door was shut. He then directed me to the delta help desk (there was at least 20 people behind me who missed their flight). I then had to pay an additional $75 to get a later flight. The whole experience was awful and I’m disappointed with Kayak and the gate confusion, but mostly Delta and the lack of customer service."

Nice to see kindness in an industry that seizes fees on every opportunity."

If a passenger is taller than average, and the flight is more than 60 minutes, provide comfortable seating at no extra charge. If a customer has a short layover, which their system knows about since it is the sourve of the flight plans, put the customer toward the front of the aircraft since these flights are habitually late and customers end up having to sprint through airports to try to make connections."

I was then told, the rep was going to lunch and I would have to flag down a ride. Lastly, a $10.00 voucher was nothing considering most airport meals are over $10.00."

I had no idea that this was the case and on top of spending the additional fee for upgrading, I was disappointed. I have a 0 star for entertainment because there was no N/A as a selection choice. There were no movies or entertainment aboard this aircraft."

The leg room on this flight was by far the smallest I've seen. again, no mercy when asking for an exit row or a seat with a little more leg room because it "costs extra". Luggage was another stroke causing situation when in top of the history of this flight,the belt bringing the luggage to the baggage claim area...broke and luggage had to be loaded manually..We all learned about the cause of the delay after about 45-50 min of just waiting ,abandoned,with nobody to tell us what is going on.!"

I could understand the upcharge if I were of average height and I just wanted a little bit of extra leg room. However that is not the case and I was stuck in a seat clearly not made with men and women who are above average height in mind. Even with my back all the way up against my seat, my knees were still pressed against the seat in front of me on a 4 hour flight."

There were children and infants on that flight with exhausted parents who had to take off at 2am instead of 8:50pm. It was awful. Plus you have to pay for a carry on? Ridiculous. I never want to fly Frontier again."

You want to sell food? Choose better items. My $3.99 coffee could at least have more than a powder non-dairy creamer. Flight price is so deceiving when you charge for everything on top of it, including where I sit. Lame, awful, corporate money grubbing mentality. I'll stick with southwest (I later learned they had had fewer options for once because they actually considered that a runway was closed)."

Overall this has been a horrible experience and I will be tell everyone I know and even people I don't know via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and snap chat about my experience . Overall I feel your service and your service provider failed miserably."

Cons: "Airport gave wrong information, display showed gate A30 instead of the correct A11, mistake cannot just be attributed to airport but also to the airline for miscommunicating with the airport. Chairs were uncomfortable. But it was a cheap flight so understandable."

Cons: "No comfort on flight very rigid seat. No entertainment at all. No complimentry snack and soft drinks. Even luggage charges way high."

Cons: "- Seats are uncomfortable - My seat was dirty even after we waited for the plane to be cleaned - Seats can't recline - Tray table is a joke. Barely big enough to hold an iPhone - They charge you to pick a seat. If you want aisle or middle be prepared to pay. - They charge to bring bags on board - They charge for food - They charge for drinks, even soda or juice - They pretty much charge for everything - I will do everything I can to avoid this airline in the future"

Cons: "The room, I upgraded $50 for a better seat that honestly wasn't any better. Then they charge you for everything. An assigned seat is money, a drink is money, checked in bag is money. So honestly when all is said and done you should go with a different airline."
Cons: "Worker at the gate was not friendly at all but crew on board was better. I had my 83 year old mother traveling with me & the cramped seating was a little too aggressive. After everyone boarded, they were still trying to sell some of the empty extra legroom seats and I feel at that point they could have sold them at a bargain. I hated to rate Entertainment a 2 but there wasn't any at all. Ive been flying Frontier for about 6 years and it's a shame they now charge for carryons and have been charging for seating for awhile. I'm sure I will fly frontier again in the near future but I feel that the extra charges took a lot away from the excitement of obtaining a good deal. The pilot seemed very competent and friendly."
Cons: "I was helping my mother - in - law check in and board - she needed wheel chair assistance. We were in line to drop off a bag that we had checked in online an hour before the flight. There were 5 people in the line with only 2 reps helping. Since I hadn't printed the boarding pass, I tried to print the pass at the self-help kiosks getting the message that I needed to see an agent. The cut-off for checked in baggage is 45 mins before the flight, however the reps were making no effort to expedite the service. In 15 mins they had helped 2 people making us the 3rd in line and the line had grown to an additional 5-6 people behind us. 45 mins before the flight they refused to take in any bags for checking - in. Since I was able to take the checked in bag with me, I asked that the agent print the boarding pass for my mother in law and call for wheel chair assistance. The agent called for wheel chair assistance but refused to print the boarding pass! The one thing that the ticketing / check in agent should be able to do is to print a boarding pass for a reservation that is fully paid. Because of this my mother in law had to miss her flight and we paid an additional $99 to get onto the next flight. I was so taken aback when the agent refused to print the boarding pass, that I did not even know how to convince her to do her job. This is probably the worst experience I have ever had with any airline!"

Pros: "Very nice crew. Arrived early. Modern spiffy cabin, seats are molded on backs so a bit more room for passengers. I loved being able to add a tip on food bill, a way of expressing appreciation for the crew has been missing for too long."
Cons: "Seats don't recline! I think my back started to hurt because I couldn't change seat; standing up helped. There's no charge for carrying on personal items but I saw a family with personal size shopping bags that was shocked to learn that a carry on suitcase wasn't a personal item and woul cost $60 (can that be right?). I tried to help them and could see that their English wasn't too strong. They hadn't understood the clear written rules and were severely punished to the point of crying - they won't fly Frontier again."
Cons: "Flight was delayed due to SF weather. But it's the price gouging and lack of entertainment or wifi that really grinded my gears."
Pros: "I liked that the flight was only delayed by one hour...as opposed to the 4 hours it was delayed going from San Francisco to Houston!!"

Cons: "First, I was not made aware that checking a bag, selecting a seat, and carrying on a bag would each be extra charges on top of the ticket price. If I had known that, I would have used a different airline, because the prices were relatively similar after all of the added costs. Secondly, the actual plane ride was incredibly uncomfortable. The seats on these airplanes do not recline (which is frustrating for a 3.5 - 4 hour flight), drinks or snacks are not free, and most of the other passengers were rude and difficult. I would not recommend this airline for any flights longer than 1.5 hours."
Cons: "I had a prior international flight that landed at 5AM that morning. I hustled through customs to try to make this flight. I asked multiple TSA agents how worried I should be about making my Frontier flight and I was assured that I would have time to make it. After running through the A Terminal, I got to my gate and the doors were already closed and no agent was there. I feel let down by the TSA agents."
Cons: "Frontier has trained their staff and written their website to "threaten" passengers into buying extra's like bags, assigned seats ."if your bag doesn't fit we will charge you 120 at the gate", I cant' guarantee a refund" "you may not get a seat if you don't buy one online (they warn you three times on the website before you can complete online check in...we were "randomly assigned" 6 seats together for free by skipping the buy seats step and completing online check in). On frontier you can only take one personal item for free. carry on is $70 (35 one way) and checked bags are $60 (30 one way)...MORE at the airport. I also fault Kayak here, they don't compare apples to apples - united carry on bags are free.. I bought 5 checked bags (6 people flying), but we decided to just do a personal item in the end. Turns out you can only get bag refunds at the airport ticket office ..not online or by phone. The ticket agent said there was no guarantee we would get a refund, but she would put a note in our record. Hmmm....prepaid $300 for a service we didn't use and may not get refunded. Online check in tries to bully you into buying seats...you have to say no 3 times before they let you complete check in. That would have been another $120 for the 6 of us. The best for last. On the return flight home, we went to ticketing agent to get refund for return bags ( the outbound ticket agent would only put a note in our record for the outbound flight, so we had to stand in line again for the return flight). She told us there was a gate change and sent us to the international terminal (a different terminal than the rest of Frontier flights). She marked the new terminal on our tickets. We were at the gate for 45 minutes and realized there were only about 10 other passengers for our flight there. I tried to call frontier on the white airport phone. They just had a recording and told me to dial an 800 number. I was on hold for 20 minutes before i got a person who said he couldn't get me any information. The flight wasn't listed on the departures board in the international terminal we had been sent to, so finally we decided we'd better go to the original gate. We had to go to another termanial, go through security again, and found our flight boarding at the original gate. The woman who sent us to the wrong terminal was at original gate loading passengers, so she knew there had been a mistake. She said they had made two announcements. The trouble is, the announcements were not audible in the international terminal. I told her there were several other passengers at the wrong gate, one of whom was elderly and would need help making the flight, No apology, and when we continued to try to get help for the other passengers, they, told us to move away from the podium or they would call security!!! ARGH!"
Cons: "They offered cheap tickets to lure my friend in (she paid for my flight to her wedding as I just moved to another state and was strapped for cash) and only when I arrived at the ticket counter, did I find out that I had to shell out an additional 45 dollars FOR A CARRY-ON!! So, I had to pay 90 dollars, which I didn't have, AND pay for snacks and a beverage, because nothing was open at airport at the time of my flight. The flight crew was mediocre at best, as the flight attendants didn't bother to greet anyone except for the only man in a business suit. If you're going to nickel and dime people, I think it better to charge a little more for everyone's ticket, instead of slamming them with hidden costs. Overall, this experience left a bad taste in my mouth that even the 2 bucks a piece in-flight sodas couldn't wash away."
Cons: "I did not like the fact that I had to pay for placing a carry on in the overhead compartment, when most airlines do not charge for that. Also, the price for a carry-on was more expensive than a check-in bag. Then our flight was delayed for 3 hours and the board at the airline still showed "On-Time". After we landed in San Francisco from Las Vegas, we were stuck on the tarmac for 45 min. and could not leave the plane. While waiting on the plane I was how your baggage handlers were literally throwing the passengers luggage because they failed to drive the cart closer to the conveyor belt (now I know why luggage looks discombobulated). When we were able to leave the plane(we were off loaded at the international airport), the flight attendant failed to announce that our luggage was moved to the domestic terminal. She only announced that our luggage was going to be at carousel #12. Both the international and domestic terminals have a carousel #12. All the passengers waited at carousel #12 in the international terminal for at least 15 mins. Then when we found out it was at the domestic terminal, we all had to walk about 1 mile. My overall first time experience with Frontier was absolutely horrible. The staff was very unhelpful and did not inform the passengers properly which cause the passengers more time at the airport and less time at their final destination. Terrible, terrible airline. I would never recommend this airline to anyone at all."

Cons: "I got held up at TSA so long that they made me miss my plane. I spent ALL of my money on that ticket. Frontier employees were ALL gone from the airport, so I had to call. And since frontier didn't help AT ALL and said I had to purchase another ticket, i spent the rest of the day sleeping at the airport and waiting for a friend to pull through with lending me the money to get another ticket, which finally just happened."
