But thankfully, lady who works for American Airlines solved my problem on the phone in couple of minutes easily. After that, when we were boarding to the aircraft, there was a cabin attendant lady. She came to us and ask me and my mother if we can talk English.I answered her with yes we can, but she demands to talk with my mother. And English is not her native language, but it doesn't prove that she doesn't know it. She tried to ask questions to her like, "where were you today?" so we couldn't really understand the reason for her to ask those questions in the first place. So we couldn't really say anything. While we were talking about my mother's English, the all aircraft was watching us, and trying to figure out what was going on. After all, she made us to sit there and wait her to replace us with other passengers. We waited the whole aircraft to be seated, then she took us to another seat with my mother. I can understand that it is her job but I'm not sure, if it had to be that much discomfort. We got pretty upset about it and it affects our flight quality. Plus, while cabin crew serving beverages, they didn't really ask us anything. We needed to call them for our order. To be honest, I would never flight with Delta. It was a disappointment.

Even when the flight attendants picked up the trash. They were informed after the flight they did not comply with CDC, Department of health, and state policies. Their response was “ I made announcements overhead. Didn’t you hear?”. Appalling endangering customers and disregarding Federal, State, and local policies.

I was informed by anAA employee they the connection is frequently missed due to similar problems. 2. Cons: I take this flight quite a lot. These comments are for this flight (MIA/MSP) - but not necessarily only for this exact flight that I took on 10/1. To be clear - the crew says "this is not AA", it is Republic Airlines". Well, they must think of themselves very poorly. Their food in first class is always changing - oh, I meant only the names for the same exact meal change. "Grilled Chicken with Couscous", "Grilled Chicken with Risotto", etc.. - all cold meals as they do not have an oven/microwave? on the plane. They are charging first class international prices for economy domestic service. For this amount of money, they should have better meals and a more modern airplane. The first class is always freezing (even in summer) while the rear cabin where the crew stays when not working, is hot. So if they make the first class happy with the correct temperature, they cook in the back. I have also observed more people than usual coughing and getting colds - both ways - than any of the other flights I take regularly (over 115,000 miles on AA this year). I would suggest that AA make it clear that Republic must offer better service to their customers - especially for the large airfares they are receiving.
Pros: The plane was not busy so services took about 5 minutes, everyone had 2 seats minimum and generally quiet. Had it been busy, it would have been different in that seats were not very wide, aisles very small, if the seat in front reclines and you don't, you can't see your screen and not a lot of space in general.
Cons: If you want to select your seat, be prepared to pay £175 per flight. This is ridiculous! Second meal was a very bare bbq beef pie or sweet potato pie... On their own with nothing else and it arrived 30 minutes before we landed so very rushed. On a 9.5hr flight the 2nd meal needed to be an actual meal and come sooner than it did.

Pros: I had to buy new clothes after lost bag and since bag had been lost twice during my trip, I was reluctant to check the bag. It was of size to cram into my carry on so I did that, but American staff demonstrated concern, had a sense of humor and helped me get a comfortable seat to sort of take some of the sting away. All that was great of them I was aware of being in an upgraded seat. No complaints, but it stung a little because I was deeply aware of the reinforcement of class. The small, extra comforts were wonderful and I wish everyone had them while risking their lives together over the ocean - especially the extra room At times, on the way over I felt a claustrophobic panic. But to stay positive, they were kiind, sympathetic, funny, sweet. I appreciate them.
Cons: The original booked flight was about 12 hours before the rebooked flight. We got up at about 2:00 am to leave for the airport at 3:30 am for a 6:30 am flight. We were all packed and booked our ride and shuttinlpg down the computer at the last minute when we noticed an mail after midnight telling us the flight was cancelled. We called and were told there was nothing they could do, due to connections and this was entirely their fault. Approximately 12 hours later we took a “red eye” thus arriving a day late for our hotel and car reservations. We were charged baggage fees and not sure if our priority boarding will be refunded.
Cons: My flight from SFO to Miami was delayed so I missed my connection to Rio and now I’m NYC on my birthday instead of my final destination. The flight status was changed 7 times. And AA said they would get my bag off but they did not and now I have to wait at JFK and hope it got rerouted here. And if it didn’t to hope it can on another flight before I hopefully actually get on a flight for Rio. Nobody has comped me for losing a day in Rio and for my hotel room. And this has been the worst flight exeperience or my life which unfortunately landed on my birthday. One I’ll remember in a sad and bad way. American Airlines refused to compensate me because I got my tickets via Kayak and I haven’t been able to find a number to complain to a Kayak agent whom I sure would say I had to contact American Airlines and nobody would help or take responsilvitu for this disaster.
Pros: The planes were on time. On our way down to Cozumel. The pilot let me 4-year-old son see the cockpit. Which was AWESOME, they were great As well as the flight crew on the way down. The trip down was terrific, If AA had this level of service all the time I would fly with them all the time.

The check-in process was slow and i was overcharged for my bike, On the way down it was $25 the same price as previous AA flights, On other airlines, it also just counts as a piece of luggage. On the way home i was charged $150 oversized luggage, yet it was <50 lbs and within the size limits. The flight crew was not overall friendly. Very business like and not warm at all. If they were a restaurant i would not be returning. The locks on my bike case were both broken off. the case was not locked. Nor was this done by TSA as they would have left a note as they have previously done.

Cons: after typing in my contact information correct, it made it to frontier incorrect. I was UNABLE to resolve online, as when trying to fix my name that the Kayak API messed up (appended first+middle name) it wanted me to pay $1,000+ dollars because it acted like I was transferring my tickets. It took FOREVER to get to a person to fix this over the phone. This is the day and age everyone wants to send you through every possible automated prompt before getting a real person. The flight itself was fine, getting to be able to get on it was a giant pain.
Pros: Direct floght for the route with really no competition for the same airports and similar times. Checkin staff was courteous, embarking was swift, flight on time, safe, no issues.

Super rude and careless flight attendant. Asked for bathroom permission for my 3-year-old once we were at full altitude and she denied. Sure enough 2 minutes later an adult just went for it. Then as the seatbelt sign was off she was blocking the aisle with the trolley. When I asked kindly to make room, she didn’t even acknowledge that she heard my request... she did, eventually, without even looking at me. Also very slow to get the stroller and a bit slow to get the baggage but these latter issues may be airport dependent.
Cons: We had all sorts of issues with this trip. I booked flights months in advance because I liked the flight times and the fact they offered a direct flight. I was then contacted by the airline to say that they had to change the flight times, which unfortunately no longer worked for our trip as we were leaving on a cruise… Both the departing and returning flights were affected. This caused us to have to stay an extra night in Orlando as the flight was too early for us to be able to depart our cruise ship and get to the airport. They did offer us $50 vouchers per passenger for the inconvenience but that did not nearly cover the cost of the hotel or transportation that was needed. Boarding for our departing flight seemed fine. We arrived at the airport an hour and a half before our flight with no issues. However when we arrived in Orlando the airline had lost all five of our suitcases containing everything we needed for our week long cruise that was departing the next day. The airline could not tell us what happened to the bags or where they were, or when they would arrive. We were forced to spend our extra day in Orlando shopping and replacing clothing items and swimsuits for the cruise. It was a huge pain and inconvenience and put a huge damper on our trip. They did offer a reimbursement amount per passenger per day that we were without luggage but I have a little confidence that I will ever see this money. The lady in the baggage office was as helpful as could be but it was clear that this happens far too often. I also did not like how you are nickel and dimed for everything on this airline… You have to purchase seats to ensure your family will get to sit together, pay a higher amount for checked baggage than other airlines, pay for carry-on bags ( in retrospect I should have done this since they lost our checked bags) and you have to pay for any drinks (including soda or juice) and snacks while in flight. This was our first time flying frontier airlines and the whole experience was a major turn off.

In fact, I got an assigned seat (in contrast to Southwest). Plane was fairly new, and the seat wasn't too small (then again, not super big). One flight attendant tried to make the atmosphere festive since we were going to Vegas and some people got absolutely shit-faced on the flight. I thought this was kind of cool, but I'm sure some people were annoyed since the drunks got VERY loud. For the price, I would definitely go to Vegas from Indy on Frontier again.

Flight was not even on the screen at the airport, and once a monitor showed the flight it didn't indicate it was late. Pay for choosing a seat, bucket seats that don't recline, pay for you to have a bag, pay for water... feels like gimmicks to charge more because they offer such low fares. Also, Frontier is notorious for delays which can interfere with plans and was experienced on outgoing flight.

I flew from Miami to Vegas (5 hours) The plane flew at low altitude the entire way and went right through all storms just to save fuel/money. People were afraid for their lives because the plane was shaking so bad. I travel 1-2 weeks out of each month by plane for work and I am not afraid, I knew it was fine, but others had no idea and were very afraid. I know it is a cheap airline, but the real problem I had with them was they are not honest. Their website says that if you chose your seat online you have to pay, but if you do at check in it is free and they will try to keep your party together as long as there's seats available. Upon arriving at the counter they wanted to charge me to keep me and my fiancée together, otherwise she was at the front of the plane and I was all the way at the back. The plane had extra seats and we got there early to get assigned seats together but even the manager would not help me even after showing their website. He said the computer will make them charge me and there was no way around it. There's always a way around it. At the end of the day, paying for seats, all bags you check in or carry on, foods/drinks in the plane, I paid just as much as flying with a good airline such as Delta. I will never fly with them again, that is for sure.

Cons: I've traveled consistently between 4-6 times a year for the last 15 years and this was my first trip with Frontier. It was by far the worst travel experience of my life. One of the passengers was so drunk that she threw up all over the gate agent's podium, and this passenger was still allowed on the plane. When we boarded, we had to circumvent the vomit because it hadn't been cleaned up yet. There were multiple passengers on board who brought their own alcohol, were noticeably drunk and extremely loud. I understand that this is not your crew's fault, but there was a complete lack of understanding as to how to handle the situation. The pilot scorned passengers as a whole, and noted that if people didn't calm down, he would force a landing in North Carolina. The responsible passengers such as myself not only had to tolerate the debauchery, but also felt like we would be potentially be punished for other people's bad behavior. The flight crew seemed to have no idea how to handle this situation. I don't understand why is passenger are blatantly breaking federal regulations, the crew would not do anything about it. When I attempted to check in online, literally ever seat (including middle seats, back row) had an up-charge which is simply ridiculous. the seats were small and very uncomfortable. I will never fly Frontier again. I'd pay double for a flight with another company just to avoid them.

Cons: Staff was horrible! Customer service did anything but customer service. They had a "too bad so sad" attitude towards customer. Arrived 12:35am for a 1:19am flight and was denied check in because supposedly counter closes at 12:30am. So I was denied entry for 5 minutes? I had to pay a taxi, extra night at hotel then a fee for rescheduling flight. Ridiculous, NECER flying Frontier again! Even if tickets were free! I booked/found flight on kayak app. I would suggest kayak remove them, experience was so bad that negatively effects kayaks reputation too. Also, every other airline provides complementary beverages and snacks, NOT Frontier. Also free bag check? Nope frontier charges everything! Even a carry-on which is free everywhere else. Absurd, truly worst flying experience EVER!

Cons: I have never flown Frontier before, and I never will again. First off, I always travel light and never check bags. This usually means I can check in via the kiosk right away with flights, but this was NOT the case with Frontier. For some unknown reason, I had to check in with the desk agent. There was a line. A LONG line. Not only that, but there actually weren't any desk agents, as they don't show up until 2 hours prior to the flight. It took over an hour to accomplish a task which usually takes less than a minute, and due to the long line I barely made it to my flight, despite showing up at the airport 2 and half hours early. Flight #1 - Like I said, I have never flown Frontier. I didn't know it was possible to make an airplane so uncomfortable. I understand it is a budget airline, but there are ZERO comforts. The seats are grey plastic, completely rigid and with no tilt. They are crammed together so close that finding any sort of sleeping position is nearly impossible. The fact that you have to pay an extra $30 for ONE carry on and then pay for ANY sort of drink/snack equates to actually paying about the same for a flight with another airline. Want to check an item? You're actually paying MORE than you wold with another airline. Flight #2 - Took off over an hour and half LATE because the system was down. The gate agents literally read off EVERY NAME one by one, over 200 people, to check them in and get them on the plane. They also filled the plane from back to front, which is proven to be the SLOWEST way to board passengers on a plane. Flight #3 - This was an early flight. 6am. I woke up with an email alert from Frontier saying that the flight was delayed until 7:30. Understandably, I was upset. This would cause me to miss my connecting flight. Luckily, I decided to go the airport anyway instead of getting another hour of sleep. Good thing too, because the flight was in fact NOT delayed. If I had heeded the alert email, I would have missed my flight for being late. Flight #4 - This flight, on the other hand, WAS delayed. 2 hours. The gate was changed 3 times and another aircraft had to be found due to malfunctions with the first. Honestly, I don't understand how Frontier is still in business. Worst travel experience of my life. I will never fly Frontier again and I have already started telling all of my friends not to use their services. -Adam

Cons: I'm sure there's some tiny print somewhere explaining carry-ons are $45 but it should be more obvious when booking - even if you do it through a third party. It soured the rest of what was otherwise perfectly good service. Other passengerss reacted the same way. I was charged and then noticed the family next to me was charged only $40 for checked bags. The looks on their faces for having to pay for both types of bags was priceless. I mentioned the cheaper check-bag fee at the counter and she said, "Oh, but you said it was carry-on". It just felt scammy. Easy-Jet has been a discount airline for ages and they give you all the options up front so you know what you're getting into. They practically charge you for toilet paper but there are no surprises. Add the extra aggravation of LaGuardia's third world style and you end up with a frustrating day for avoidable reasons.

Cons: I booked tickets with this airline for the first time because prices were significantly cheaper than with other airlines. However, I didn't realize I would have to pay $45 for carry on luggage, pay extra if I did want a seat in the middle, and even pay for soft drank! After factoring in all those things, it would have been a lot cheaper to use a different airline. Plus, it was by far the most uncomfortable airplane I have ever been on. No leg room, small seats that do not recline and have no cushion. Terrible experience!
Cons: There is a lot to complain about with this airline. I cannot comment on the comfort, food not entertainment because I missed my flight. Granted the flight missing was not the fault of the airline however I would have imagined that the staff would have told me in no way would I make my flight with the security lines the way they were. Once we made it through we ran the entire length of the airport to try and make the flight in hopes that they might delay the plane. That's is not the whole complaint because it happens. However; my bags flew with the flight I missed. The ticket agent assured us the bags would get to the destination and I could pick them once I arrived on the later flight (through a different airline). When I arrived NO employees where to be found. The "helpline" not helpful not even to tell me if the bags were there and lock and I could get them in the morning. Instead I was talk to condescending and rude, thanks to Kim in Colorado. I stayed the night over since my home is 3 hours from the airport. Next morning at 8:30 I call to speak to someone, helpline again unhelpful. Could not tell me when someone would be there or anything about my bags. I show up the airport. No staff. I waited for an hour and half for a ticket agent. Once I posted on their social media page that I was unhappy that person told me when they would be there and their hours. NOT THE HELPLINE but I already stood around picked up my bags and was out of there. I will never fly this airline. They nickel and dime you and have terrible customer service.
Cons: They wanted,discharge me $40 dollars for a carry-on, let's just start there. So in addition to whatever I would have paid to check a bad now carry on items are 40 bucks? Get real. Next there's the issue of the flight itself which was horrible. The seats were no better than plastic folding seats you would buy at target and about as comfortable. Frontier's idea of first class is what every other airline would call coach. There is so little leg room or room in front of you that I couldn't lay my head down on the tiny little excuse for a folding tray. Additionally none of the chairs leaned back. Not that they could as you would be in the lap of the person behind you.so I had to sleep on a red eye for 4 hours sitting straight up on hard plastic, crammed into a row like sardines. I will never fly frontier again.

Cons: I've flown frontier before and I have never had a problem. Tried to check in for our flight 30min before it took off as we were running late. The rep who was working the desk (young female, approx. 20yrs old) gave us the worst guest service I have ever received. I did not understand why we could not check in, nor attempt to board our flight, although I understood it is our fault for running late. We did not need to check any bags as we were carrying them on. The woman behind the desk only kept saying you missed your flight and was very disrespectful when our friend tried to talk to her saying "I don't know why your even trying to talk to me, I told you I am done with you." I work in the guest service industry and have never been treated or talked to with such disrespect. I would have understood if she was apologetic and explained to us WHY we could not board or make our flight, compared to being rude and rolling her eyes constantly. I will not be flying frontier again I can avoid it.
Cons: The flight attendant was laughing during the safety speech, which was a little discomforting if you like to feel as if you may make it alive. If you like to not move your legs around or not be able to recline slightly while in an air plane, then this is your airline. The flights are cheap but they forgot to tell you they charge for one carry on! You might as well fly with a legitimate company and not end up paying the same price if not more because of all the "fine print". The saying goes "buy cheap, get cheap" but this airline is a little out of control.

Cons: March trip to Orlando should consider types of travelers - families with small kids. Flight delayed over 2 hours, baggage pickup took an hour. Kids over tired. Argument between grandmother with small kids on couple without kids occurred while waiting to deplane. Seems like flight priority should be altered. Had to wait on flight from Denver? I am sure that flight did not have nearly as many small children on that flight. Early flight to Orlando would make more sense to me. Why an hour for baggage? Due to delay, several of us lost our rental car reservations in Orlando.

Cons: No heads up. Checked in 1.45hrs early & they new we were delayed but didn't say anything. Left 6 hrs late. Arrive at Disney with a 5 yr old at 1:00 am instead of 7:00 pm. If you would have been honest and proactive with Indianapolis we would have been fine. Better off to tweet your problem. Call=hold. Locals=in the dark. $15 food credit each is a good start. $100 each emailed so quickly is impressive but it's a credit to a bare bones airline that charges you for a water after their 6 hrs issue. Could have made snacks and non alc drinks free. NO NO NO. We had to pay another $11 for water, apple juice, food and GL of wine. SERIOUSLY. WANT TO MAKE IT RIGHT??? Missed several opportunities for "Little things that count". Give all $300 to one of us for a free ticket-we won't be flying with our grandson again. I will give you a chance to fix that. Not a threat a promise.

Cons: It's almost very normal every time I fly with Spirit Airways to make us wait an extra 20 minutes after the time gates are supposed to be open. Usually there will be a line already formed and everyone will be waiting for them to open the gate at any moment. Their seats are not comfortable either. So if you add everything up, you can say flying with Spirit Airways is not very desirable.
Pros: Boarding went smoothly and we got in earlier than was originally slated.
Cons: There was the most obnoxious literally screaming baby I have ever had on a flight. The TV at the gate was BLARING despite the hour being 4-5 AM.

Cons: I went to the airport 35 min before the flight left with no luggage. I was told that Airline policy is to cutoff at 45 minutes and so they did not give me a boarding pass. I asked for alternative arrangements. They said that they can give me a ticket for a flight 48 hours later. They also said that they do not partner with other airlines so they cannot help. I purchased a ticket with another airline and left a few hours later. The staff told me that this is an everyday occurrence. Policies are fine but the staff should provide alternate solutions.

Cons: Complete chaos in checking-in. Although they put me on the flight the night before, when we were stranded, for some reason they could not issue me a boarding pass that night. I had to wait in line again in the morning just to get a boarding pass. I tired to do it online, but that did not work either. It seems there lots of little things these people can do much better without incurring extra costs. However, management seems incapable or just does not care.
Cons: My flight was overbooked plus it was delayed two hours on my overlay so I missed my flight. As I got to customer service they told me they didn't have a flight until two days later and that I would receive my refund for another 24 hours.

Cons: Three hour delay on the way out. The captain said he was a replacement for another captain who'd been in a car crash that morning. On the way home, flight cancelled at the last minute. Gate crew laughed at us. Waited in line for an hour to get to the Spirit agent who put us on another airline many hours later. She said flight was cancelled due to no flight crew. I will never fly this airline again!

Cons: Literally everything is extra on a spirit flight. I have just started flying more recently and this is the first time I think I have taken a spirit flight because I would have remembered to avoid this company because of their service. If you wanted to bring a carry on bag that is bigger than a small back pack, you pay for it. Some water on your flight, pay for it. Leg room and comfort of the seats, horrible. Any in flight entertainment, no. Any USB charging, no. I would not choose spirit again if I have the chance. And there were plenty of delays with both my flight to and from my destination. I don't know if spirit has any control over that, but it makes for a horrible flying experience. My 1 hour 10 min flight turned in to 3 and a half hours thanks to waiting in the airport, on the terminal, and circling in the sky.

Pros: Even though every flight I've taken with them has been delayed by an hour, they are fast to get everyone on board and quick to take off. I did like how they slowly came up with the lights upon landing I stead of abruptly turning them on like other airlines.
Cons: The price of the flight is misleading, by the time you're finished paying for luggage, seat selection, and BUYING a coffee or water, etc. I Should have just gone with another higher class airline. The seats were extremely uncomfortable, the trays are positioned too low, so they aren't good to rest on and the chairs don't recline. Both flights were extremely cold, delayed by an hour and overbooked so they were having difficulties seating. I wouldn't suggest using spirit unless you are on a quick flight [under 1 hour and a half] for a short trip that only necessitates a personal bag.
Pros: This flight was 150 dollars cheaper than the next major airline. I looked at their website and made sure I knew all the extra fees before I booked it. I was only going on a three day trip so I got away with only taking a small personal bag that is free otherwise I'd have to pay their carry on fee of $45

When I called for a refund (because I booked a one-way on another airline), they tried to issue me a credit to be used in 60 days. They made it sound like the credit was my only option. Only when I pushed did they acknowledge that I was due a refund.

Pros: I read everything you shared about Spirit Airlines. I was prepared for it all, or so I thought! Despite seats being quite close, they were not uncomfortable, just tight quarters. There is a way to add to your comfort level though: Upgrade! I appreciate the low faire, and the honesty shared in the bare facts. ;-) No secrets here, but read and watch the videos so you are completely aware!
Pros: If you can afford the choice, you DO NOT want to go Spirit. We spent 1.4 hours IN LINE to check our PREPAID BAG. Yes, 1.4 hours. This idea may go better in Europe, but folks here don't take such ridiculousness well.

HUNDREDS of people all backed up in one line for about 4 departing flights with what looked like FIVE agents to handle it ALL. TWO hours in advance barely got us onboard. Heed this warning and get there 3 in adv. This kind of chaos at a US airport is not good, and I won't be subscribing to it again.

On our return flight I went online to pre-purchase the luggage at $40 per piece but the system would not accept my PMT. I called customer svc to pay over the phone. He said "that will be $55.00 EACH. This is for CARRY ON luggage that is free on every other airline. I paid the $50 at the airport which made them MUCH more costly than any other airline.
