SAS does not care if you have flown on another transatlantic carrier, which allows more than 8 kg. Then you need to start emptying your hand luggage at checkin. The whole checkin process was a big mess, the contract employees eg. at Heathrow do not help much (they probably do not do this to any other airline). SAS staff does not remind you to take your IDs and passport, medications etc. from your hand luggage, which is then checkedin luggage as opposed to hand luggage. It is obvious that transatlantic passengers have more hand luggage than many local passengers."

Cons: "Planes are outdated and need a refresh badly. No USB charging. Cramped rows. Even a few more inches of leg room would be nice. Rude and selfish passengers all around; from boarding tantrums over seating through changing into winter clothing in the aisle. How has it gotten to this?"

Cons: "This was the last leg of a 24 hour journey from Venice to Seattle for my sister and me. After having a 3 1/2 hour layover, our plane was supposed to leave at 6:30 PM and kept getting delayed. One of the biggest frustrations was the lack of communication by the staff! We could see them at the counter where our gate was but no one would come out and talk to us! Our plane finally got off the ground at 8:30 PM!"

Cons: "For a 9 hour flight, I would have preferred a heads up that there is no in-flight entertainment and you need to have a charged device of your own with the Air Canada app pre-installed. And if you didn't get that memo and you have an Apple device, you're out of luck. Otherwise you can rent an iPad for $10. The chairs were thin and flimsy making it difficult to sleep. And unfortunately we got a "window seat" that did not have a window. It was very disappointing."

Pros: "A United Airlines employee assisted me by answering questions that I had. This same employee actually came to find me when the Air Canada ticket gate opened early and knew I was waiting to get my boarding pass. Greatly appreciated.."
Cons: "My one checked bag did not arrive,. And when I reported it, there was no tracking for it. It was stressful because I had one night before I was leaving for a back country trip and the " lost" bag had " no hits" when the bar Cade was scanned. So I spent hours trying to find someone who could assist me. I lost one whole vacation day dealing with the bag issue. Sure wish I could get some compensation."
Cons: "Boarding: Late Crew: Lied to me about doing me a favor changing seats while it was me who did it online Comfort: narrow seats Food: purchasable, nothing included Entertainment: no screen available and was told an app could be downloaded just when the plane was about to take off"
