Pros: Nice clean, quiet and smooth ride. The economy seats seem to have a little more legroom than most.

Cons: The staff on both transatlantic flights were absentee. While I get that it is a budget carrier and they use a request your services via the entertainment system model, they were all behind the curtain all the time. Not even offering water occasionally. Really? Also, I don’t understand why they promote larger windows with dimming functions if the are going to override the controls. While I understand being courteous to other in the plane who might be sleeping, what good is ordering a window seat if the window is put and left in a darkened state the entire flight? An above the clouds sunset opportunity missed. Annoying!!!

Pros: I appreciated there were many movie options for entertainment. Some old but there was good variety.

Cons: I hated the wait time pre boarding. Somehow the flight kept getting delayed. The flight was delayed on my way to Barcelona and it was delayed even more so coming back to Oakland. The crew on board were not very nice and the crew pre boarding at the front desk were extremely rude and unhelpful. I paid the extra money for the on board meals and somehow I ended up getting the worst seat locations. The food is served at such disparate times. I felt like I was starving for many hours after I ate my first meal. Overall, I do not recommend flying through Norwegian and I doubt I will ever fly through Norwegian again.

Cons: Website didn't work for online checkin. Flight only half full but somehow I was assigned to the coldest seat on the plane with an exit door obstructing legroom. Toilets were out of order and only one was available for most of an eight-hour flight. Airline charged for drinks. Food (chicken stew in a brown gravy?) was repellant. Entertainment choices dated and uninteresting. Luggage lost, with one agent available to slowly help more than 30 people. Luggage missing for over 24 hours. No response from airline. Enough.

Pros: Free movie. Good take off and landing by Pilot.

Cons: Flight attendants were professional, but discourteous. It was not Luftansa as advertised but A UNited airline Plane & crew terrible ! The flight attendants Made you feel like you couldnt ask for anything extra! (Water, juice). The meal wasn't heated all the way, breakfast snack was cold. The seats seemed extra cramped no leg room. You were literally laying on the passenger next to you! They also didnt allow people with children, babies to do advanced boarding it took up so much time! I payed for extra leg room on my return flight which was cancelled by the way due to weather then they gave upgrades to others for free..! While the return flight was delayed I was kept in airport for 8hrs before they cancelled it also unpleasant! That section of the airport had no food, all United Airlines offered us while waiting was sodas! Really? not again will i fly international with UA!

Pros: (3/4) My friend finally came up from baggage claim and had told me that no bags came, and the staff member we were speaking to downstairs told us that our luggage was probably already on its way to Chicago. Note that he never asked for our names or our baggage claim ticket. We bought a plane ticket on Icelandair for the next afternoon, found an ACE Guesthouse to stay at, paid for another cab, and left with our carry-ons with nothing useful for overnight because of the first encounter at the check-in counter where we weren't able to properly remove our chosen belongings from our suitcases. The next morning after I woke up and as soon as I knew our original flight had landed, I tried to call O'Hare to confirm that our bags had indeed made it to Chicago. I was not able to get ahold of anyone that could help. When we got to the airport, 4.5 hours early, we checked in and went straight to baggage claim to double check where our bags were. We were not leaving Iceland until we were 100% sure of where our belongings were. Lo and behold, it's the same employee that was working in the baggage claim area the day before. He remembered us, and told us that he had good news and bad news. The good news was that they found our bags, the bad news was that was our bags were on their way to Boston. Boston? BOSTON?! He said they went to Boston because if there were bags left here, it was mandatory that they get sent as fast as they could to the country they are scheduled to arrive at, no matter what airport. That location happened to be Boston. We have NO idea why this was the case, when they knew that we had missed our flight and were still in Iceland. Isn't it mandatory that luggage stay with the owner? We wanted to call Boston to make sure that our bags were there, and to have them sent to Chicago so that they were in Chicago when we arrived later that day. He told us that there was nothing that we could do, that we would have to wait until we get to Chicago, file a claim, and then they would have our bags sent to us a day or so later. Note again, that he never asked for our names or our bag claim number. Begrudgingly, we left him, even more furious, and waited for our next flight. Meanwhile, I tried to get ahold of anyone from O'Hare – no luck. I tried to get ahold of anyone from Boston – no luck. Finally, I decided to call WOW Customer Service. I explained the situation to her, and told her that it was absolutely necessary to know where my bags were, and to know that they would be waiting for me in Chicago when I arrived, also questioning WHY protocol called for our bags being sent to Boston. She asked for the claim number, and told me the last time the bags were scanned was in Iceland. They were at the airport. I told her this was impossible, because I spoke to the same person the day before and today, and he said our bags were not at this airport. She insisted that they were.

Cons: (4/4) At this point, a few hours had gone by, and we were running short on time. With AN HOUR left until our DEPARTURE TIME, we went back to baggage claim and told the same employee that WOW had told us our bags were scanned in here. He seemed confused, and said he was not sure how this could be possible. My friend spotted her bag behind him, and pointed it out. He seemed shocked. I didn't see my bag anywhere, and asked him where it was, and he said that maybe it got swapped out with someone else's, because he didn't see it. My friend asked him to please check the back for my suitcase. Sure enough, it was there. CLEARLY, this employee had no idea what he was doing. He gave us misinformation numerous times. If we had not been so persistent, we never would have known that our bags were still at KEF in Iceland. HOW WOULD WE HAVE GOTTEN OUR BAGS TO CHICAGO??????????? If I had listened to the guy and trusted him, we would have landed in Chicago, filed a claim, and seen that there were NO bags in Chicago, and NO bags in Boston. Our belongings would have been stuck in Iceland. We then had hardly any time to go back to the check-in counter and check our bags. We waited in another line, checked our bags, and ran to our gate. Every other KEF staff member that we tried to speak to was very short and rude, unhelpful, and in a hurry to get us out of the way. Even when we tried to find someone at a kiosk, there was no one there working the kiosk. Nearly every employee at KEF had lied to my face, and did not care that I needed help. If I had not been lied to about information regarding notifications, flights, baggage, etc. on numerous accounts, I know for a FACT that I would have made sure I made my flight. This experience is absolutely unacceptable. The incapable, rude, and dishonest airport staff and unaccommodating airlines costed us an extra $1,000 each. It also cost us the couple hundred dollars we would have made at work the next day. I will never fly WOW again. I will never fly to or through Keflavik International Airport again. I will never recommend WOW. I will never recommend KEF. This left such a bad taste in my mouth that I don't really ever want to go to Iceland again. And I know my friend feels the same way.

Pros: I have liked Norwegian ever since I first flew with them. So my meal was something I ordered and looked forward too on a long 8.5 hour flight. I actually tell everyone that it is my favorite airline

Cons: Even though I paid the fifty pounds for extra bag and "nice and tasty" food they didn't bring it as they said it was not on my ticket. When I asked where my food was, long after everyone had been fed, they brought me what was left over. A spaghetti and chicken which was warm and not "tasty" and I do not normally eat chicken. It was the only thing left. For the breakfast snack they also forget me until I asked again. The the "nice and tasty" meal was very sad and disappointing. And when I have travelled with Norwegian before the meal and entertainment were excellent. Also when I arrived in Barcelona "transit" to Newark there was no one advising up where to go! They dropped us en mass at the immigration which was huge and packed with long, long lines. When I asked people in uniform where transit was they told me I had to go through immigration! An hour later when I went to the immigration booth, the officer took me directly upstairs to another security check and then I was told to wait in an area and my flight would be called. Nothing. And when I went to the flight they said my bags were unloaded! All the Norwegian offices and checkin were closed for the night. My phone would not work there and finally I found wifi and called Norwegian in London, They gave me numbers and company names to call. But there no one to be found or connected to. At seven o'clock the next morning when Norwegian opened I was able to be put on the next flight on Sunday, two days later. A terrible transit like I have never experienced before.

Cons: Compared to other airlines Air Canada is just so bad. Crew are always slow. The flight never boards on time or leaves on time. I don’t think I’ve ever been on an Air Canada flight that leaves on time. It’s incredibly frustrating. The staff were rude and cold on this flight and very very slow. I usually don’t write reviews like this but honestly can’t find anything good to say about this last flight. It was just bad.

Cons: Before we boarded this plane we arrived at Aer Lingus for a 2 hour layover. The airport only had a snack bar open and an express bar with only drinks. There was cafes upstairs but that was closed off to hundreds of people with a layover between flights. When asked they said it was closed off by escalater and elevator to all of us. They blocked the escalator with a giant gate sign. People waited in line at a snack for over 20 mins for a bite to eat that was express food or a choice of 5 sandwiches that came hot that actually sucked not worth the money at all. People were pissed! I was looking forward to a nice meal for my layover but that definitely did not happen! They only came around once with drinks on a 6 hour flight, then twice for coffe and tea. When I asked for a sprite they said they ran out of things completely

Pros: The crew are the friendliest, nicest crew. I’ve flown Iberia and JetBlue the past year and the Aer Lingus crew are so much more hospitable and service oriented. From cockpit announcements keeping passengers up to date on flight info, to food service, the crew does an excellent job.

Cons: Boarding the plane was too chaotic. There seemed to be a lot of confusion. They were boarding rows 8-23 but no one was getting through the gate to the plane. Before anyone from this group got on the plane, they added rows 24-46. Ambiguity causes stress. A more orderly lining up of passengers would be less stressful.

Cons: The rest of the crew were inattentive and rude. It was bad enough to be delayed an hour, but the inattentiveness was ridiculous. I placed an order for a beverage, a pack of crisps and a set of headphones at the beginning of the flight. I didn’t receive them until almost 3 hours into the flight. I figured they were busy with meal service and what not in the beginning of the flight so I was patient, and I saw some people receiving their orders kinda late as well. After the 2nd hour, I started clicking the call attendant button. The female flight attendants walked by multiple times and ignored my attempts to flag them down. Finally, the male attendant came over and resolved the situation, but by then we had been in the air for 3 hours. Worst service I’ve experienced on any airline. Also, for a plane called a Dreamliner, those seating arrangements are a nightmare for anyone over 5’8”; I was uncomfortable the entire flight. It’s a plane, not a bus in a third world country; it’s shouldnt be that damned cramped and crowded.

Cons: 1. BA said I couldn't get a seat before 24 hrs before. Then when I tried to get a seat assignment I was told (by email) to contact Aer Lingus. Aer Lingus said that I should have called before 24 hrs before, and that seats were now in control of the gate (this still 22 hrs before flight time). Total lack of coordination. 2. At check-in I was first told that my bag was too big for carry-on, although BA had accepted it. I shrunk it down. Then I was told it weighed too much at 15 kg. When I asked why BA accepted the weight I was told BA's weight limit was different. 3. Pros: Price was very inexpensive, crew was polite and efficient and our flights were on time. The food was fine, but a little overpriced.

Cons: No entertainment, but that’s how they keep costs low. Seating was not incredibly clean.

Pros: Nice newish planes. Competent but basic service in the air. Nice air crew.

Cons: Ground agents are bad. Don't care about you. Won't answer questions. Don't care what happens to you. Don't care if you make your flight, or if your connection is delayed. There is no phone support. If you have a problem - you're on your own. Online checkin is broken. Does not work at all.

Pros: Again, I liked that we reached our destination safely.

Cons: Because of the almost 3 hour delay, almost all of the passengers on the flight missed their connecting flight. Including myself. I was moved to a flight four hours later Finally, the last leg of my flight was again delayed 55 minutes and I ended up on a very, very crowded flight and getting to my destination at almost 5pm instead of 9am.... missing a whole day of activities. What did I get as compensation from British Airways? A 5 pound coupon for 'light refreshment' for an 8 hour inconvenience. Brilliant :|

Pros: To be honest, I liked that some of the flight attendants were friendly. Honestly, all but Nicola were nice and friendly. Nicola was the only rude one. So rude that I took note of her name for such a review like this :). I also liked that we got to our destination safely.

Cons: Flight was delayed almost 3 hours total. The first 45 minutes we were in the airport and they said they were delayed because of an engineering issue which was fine. They then stated that they resolved it and had us board the plane.... ten minutes later the pilot states that the same engineering issue is still being worked on and it'll be about another ten minutes. Well... TWO HOURS after being trapped on the plane and told repeatedly "it'll be another 10-15 minutes" ,we finally took off. The food was subpar, most of the airline staff was polite save for one gentleman at the gate who made a sarcastic comment to me about them trying to board quickly when I couldn't find my passport (after making us wait 45 minutes... then another 2 hours... yeah board quickly for what?). And the flight attendant Nicola was incredibly rude and appeared to condescend to some passengers in various ways. That 3 hour delay ended up costing me my connecting flight and I was booked on an overcrowded flight leaving 4 hours later and that was also delayed almost another hour (surprise!). My first day of vacation, I basically lost my whole first day as I arrived 8 hours after I was meant to because of delays by B.A.

Pros: Service on the DFW-->FRA leg was phenomenal (ratio of attendants to fliers). Food was delicious and seats very comfortable.

Cons: Boarding process and organization could have been a bit better in communicating access and groups. Not super critical, but the goal in in process is to be as efficient as possible.

Cons: No entertainment or perks at all. And the worst thing was that before flight, they closed us in an insulated gate especially for flights to Tel Aviv, something made out of the 1980’s with a small kiosk with cold sandwiches and “espresso” from an automatic machine, if we knew this is the case, we at least would’ve bought something to eat before entering the 80’s terminal/gate.
