The flight was delayed causing me to miss another AA connection by minutes. Waited in line to be told I wouldn't get on a flight til the following day, they couldn't help with accommodation and I wouldn't receive my luggage until the following day. In short, AA left me stranded in a strange city at midnight with no accommodation and no luggage. It was 18 degrees and I was in t-shirt and shorts. What a memory.

Cons: The only thing that concerned me about this flight was that immediately when we left the ground, there was a very strange noise that occurred and stayed until we were above the clouds. Made me and a number of passengers concerned because none of us had ever heard such a noise from a flight ever.

Every one who was trying to make the same connection said that every time they fly Air Canada they are always running. We needed up being the last ones on the plane.... they gave away our seats so we were separated for 12 hours. And shoved into corners!!! Our bags made it two days late.

Pros: You fly a beautiful plane, the Boeing 787. Excellent entertainment, more comfortable seats, and just about everything on this plain was upgraded. It is a case study of how to do things right. The most impactful for me was air humidity. It was refreshing to fly and not feel like I've been in the Sahara desert at high noon. So, your starting point is really high, but you really need to look at your service.
Cons: our flight was 40 minutes late in departing TLV. My connection in Toronto then was changed to a later flight, which was then delayed too by 50 minutes. all in all a 14 hour flight with connection ended up being close to 18 hours. My biggest two complaints about the flight itself is the food & the toilets. Your meals are the worst I've had in a major airline, and you should not serve customer frozen of close to frozen bread or sandwiches. If you are serving rolls, sandwiches or pitas, or bagels heat them up first. El-Al has been doing it for decades, go look at how they do it. But besides the bread/sandwiches issue, your meals are a really bad version of frozen supermarket meals. Just terrible all round. The other complaint is the bathroom. It was not cleaned frequently enough.

Pros: Tel Aviv security is confusing and time consuming but Air Canada helps you make it through. Flight is on a comfortable new airplane with gray movie selection. Two full meals and a snack provided.

Pros: Crew were friendly and not bossy. Plane was not crowded. Pilot made up most of our lost time (see other box). Ground crew were friendly and efficient in Toronto, getting to me to my departure gate in time. I was pleased to be offered a food voucher.
Cons: Departure delay of 3 hours from Tel Aviv. Unruly Haredim should be left on the ground in Toronto, not in London. Food voucher was usable at only one outlet, and Burger Ranch is a greasy spoon. Would more choice be too difficult to organize?

Pros: My flight to Toronto arrived late which meant there would be no way for me to catch my connecting flight to North Carolina. An Airline rep was already waiting for me out of the terminal, with tickets for a new flight the next morning, a ticket for one night at one of the airport hotels(dinner included) and meal vouchers for the airport. This would have never happened with any US based airline.

Cons: The flight was delayed about an hour and a half, only after some time at the gate they explained it on the mic.I had a connection flight, and before landing they mentioned there will be agents helping those with upcoming connections to catch them up due to the delay, but those people just pointed me in the general direction of the gates. I had to ran all over the airport, confused after the terrible long flight, and since it was my first time there. I made it at the last second, they changed my seat without my permission and didn't have enough room for my bag so I had to check it. The general attitude of the crew was reluctant at best.The food was mediocre, like what you would have gotten in a flight 10 years ago, and they gave beef to people who asked for chicken. I wanted to be more cool about it, but it was a terrible flight in every Aspect, and I never even got an apology or a follow up.

Very confusing to get around in. And having to fill out custom papers for Canada when I wasn't staying in Canada or leaving the airport. Didn't like that. But the service of Air Canada makes up for the airport, I would use their service again.

Pros: Air Canada is a first rate provider. Their air rates are better than most other airlines, and the value for the money is exceptional.
Cons: The plane was SO, SO COLD. The entire plane of people were miserable. I literally shivered all the way from Toronto to Istanbul, huddled next to the stranger next to me, who was also freezing. It was unreal how cold it was. People kept asking the staff to turn the A/C down, to no avail. I couldn't wait to get off that flight.

Pros: The crew appeared overworked and understaffed. I feel that there should have been at least 2 to 4 more to help with the large number of passengers on the plane. It appeared to be more than full and perhaps extra seating was added.
Cons: The plane was overcrowded. Seating was extremely uncomfortable and much too narrow. I am a relatively thin person but the person to my right was large and kept on pushing into me during the entire flight. Plus it took us over an hour and 30 minutes before we left the airport because we had to wait until the entire plane off boarded before a wheelchair could be brought for my wife. After the wheelchair was brought and we picked up our luggage, (2 bags), which by the way were the last 2 on the carousel, there was only one line through customs for people with special needs. By the time we left the airport I spent at least 45 minutes trying to find the cab which had been sent from Rochester, NY to pick us up and when I finally found him he wasn't allowed to stop in the taxi lane to pick us up in the taxi lane because he wasn't an authorized cab in spite of the fact that I told the security person that my wife was in a wheelchair and the weather was close to 0 degrees celsus and it was snowing.

Cons: 1. I ordered kosher meal, and we haven't because it finished. 2. The flight was full I couldn't findo a sit with my kids. I sit separately.

The flight crew was very attentive and helpful, and had great attitudes. I had trouble with my entertainment screen early on, and a flight attendant went out of her way to reset and make sure it was working for me. The 12 hour flights both ways were comfortable and enjoyable.

When I asked the flight attendants for food they told me they had none, and it was my fault I didn't bring anything to eat. then I saw them handing out food to business class. I understand that I did not shell out the class to fly business class, but it's not okay to not feed a pregnant woman. Additionally, when I was flying form you were not allowed t bring water onto the plane. The flight attendants only provided me one small water bottle an two small cups of water. I asked for more but they said no :( I will never fly United again

Pros: I don't love to fly, so I wasn't thrilled about a 7 hour flight. Actually, the flight itself went well, good food (for an airplane), staff was VERY nice, and boarding was easy enough. My issue unfortunately the people sitting behind me with 2 kids under age 3-4 years old. One of the kids screamed and cried for probably close to 5 hours. I didn't sleep at all. At one point, he cried for a continuous 2 hours while he kicked my seat. I felt like the staff should have asked if they could help, maybe suggest walking him around, etc. The child must have had ear pain, he cried constantly. I felt so badly for him.

Pros: We enjoyed the ability to have beer and wine included. We thought the meals going to Tel Aviv and on the return were very tasty, good portions, and served at the appropriate times. We loved the choices of movies/tv that were updated and new and also included.

There was some slight turbulence and the attendants demanded we sit down for safety (it wasn't too bad though) yet once we got back to our seats the turblence was fine, and we got up to go again and the same thing happened. There were long lines for the bathrooms. I'm not sure if that can be avoided though.

Cons: Told the gate attendant I was flying home for my dad's funeral and if there was anything they could do to move my seat from a middle seat to aisle seat he said not without charging me but I could ask when I boarded the plane. Once the doors were closing I asked the flight attendant if I could move up one row to an open aisle seat she said no not without charging me. I said there's no one in that whole row and I'm flying home for my dad's funeral and could they make an exception I would show them the obituary and funeral brochure if needed I just wanted some space. She got another gate attendant I explained the same thing and he said no. He said the seat will have to remain empty if I wasn't willing to pay for it. I told him r u serious? U r that inconsiderate and heartless as a company. I've already booked 2 flights w United and u can't make an exception as I was in tears he said no nothing. And walked off the flight. This airline is heartless and deserves all the bad publicity it's getting. Horrible horrible service. And the flight attendant Beth did nothing about it after he left.

Cons: Leg room seemed to be worse than any other airline. I was in row 36.

Pros: Good legroom. Did not feel cramped
Cons: No access to movies because my earbuds would not plug into the hole for them. All food was nasty, inedible. Breakfast so bad even the smell of it polluted the cabin for the remainder of the flight. Just a cold ham or turkey and cheese sandwich would have been preferable. Attention from flight attendants was haphazard at best. Chose this flight because of good flight times but in future will avoid United if at all possible.

Cons: Some moron decided that passengers shouldn't be allowed to bring drinks on the plane. This means that after passing security and customs, after buying an overpriced cup of latte, you are told to spill it or else. And that's in a country that lives on security. Unacceptable. Unjustified and unheard of.

Cons: Food. We ordered 4 special meals and got only one!

Pros: The crew was nice to our one year old. And because it wasn't a full flight we were able to give him a seat which saved us!
Cons: We're healthy vegans and the snacks aren't friendly for us at all. We brought our own but to have options would have been nice.

Cons: No leg room and tight seats. Adequate but a tight fit. We travel with my husbands 72 lb lab seeing eye dog and we really needed a free area for him, but he was able to squeeze under. This was very uncomfortable for us. They offered the aisle row person a chance for another seat in the rear, which of course was declined and I can't fault her.

Pros: Absoluteky nothing. I mean literally NOTHING. I take that back, a pilot for another flight who saw my predicament and tried his best to help me figure which flight to take in the morning. Also, as far as floors go, the airport terminal was maybe only the ninth worst I've slept on. Kudos!
Cons: Wretched customer service. Flight delayed multiple hours after my ride departed and stranded at airport for fourteen hours with no food or beverage comps, or even kindness from the their agents. Was told "oh well, weather". I had left my remaining cash (and didn't bring my card) with my lady friend to get the kids some nice things (she is driving back on a seperate day and was already two hours away by the time we found out flight wasn't happening in time) and absolutely zero compassion given by United. Also, required to add an 80 dollar uber when I get home because there will be no ride as my orginal ride can't make it. May also have to call out of work. Not even an offer to bump my seat on next flight to close to the cabin or exit row. Two hours on phone with customer service with no offers of even slight compensation even when this entire situation is explained. I get it. I agreed to terms of service, but your service sucked and is costing me an armful of money at this point, wouldn't it be in the slightest interest of theirs to give me a meal, or a room or even a lousy coffee?
