Cons: My one problem, which is not Emirates' problem, is the lady that sat behind me on my way to Dubai in October was unhappy if I reclined my seat at all. I didn't want to cause a problem, so I left it upright - later on, when I walked to the back, I saw her sleeping w/her seat reclined! That really was my only complaint, and like I say, that really has nothing to do w/Emirates.
Cons: They took my scarf and it was crazy cold in New York. Then they wouldn't let me use the bathroom yet it took almost an hour to land. Ridiculous. I was in 81D. I hope they found my scarf.

Cons: Why are Emirates business Class seats on 777 so weirdly configured - you have to be a stick insect to squeeze out of bulkhead row 8 window seats because of hideous mock walnut trunk slung between the seats to house aisle TV screen.

Cons: Emirates has applied EasyJet seat ramming techniques to its A380 business Class product. As a result even the spacious upper deck of an A380 feels cramped. The seat width in business Class is the same as economy so lying on your side to sleep is an impossibility for all but the diminutive or children. It’s hard to justify 4-5 times the economy fare to sit in such cramped ‘pile em high, sell em cheap’ seats. Breakfast served just before landing at LGW was honestly the most revolting meal I’ve ever been served onboard an aircraft, and I’ve flown Monarch. Less scrambled egg than puréed egg slops with gristly undercooked chicken sausages. Ryanair would blush at serving up such lousy fare. Emirates are paring back the ‘overheads’ in business Class and its starting to show. Cheapening the product (in every sense) might work for some but if I’m going to stump up thousands I think I’ll choose an airline that treats me less like self loading cargo in future.

Cons: We didn't fly to Zurich. Instead, we flew from Berlin to Frankfurt to San Francisco to San Diego. Although the alternate airlines did a fine job and we had nice flights thanks to them, we only found out about the change when we arrived at the airport and it caused us multiple inconveniences throughout the day. Our flight from Berlin to Zurich was scheduled to board at 9am, so we left our accommodations at 6:30am so we could arrive at the airport around 7am. It was a rushed, hectic morning and we stayed up late preparing for it the best we could. When we arrived and found out our flight was canceled, we learned our new flight wouldn't board until 11am. So we rushed for no reason and had to spend a considerable amount of extra time at the airport that we could have spent enjoying coffee one last time at a local cafe or something. We planned to fly straight from Zurich to San Diego so we could participate in an interview for our Global entry application (which you can only do when arriving in the US from an international flight). Because we had a brief layover in San Francisco instead, we had no time for this and were unable to do the interview when we arrived in San Diego because it was a domestic flight. The change also caused issues with our luggage. We're not used to checking bags when we fly OR flying internationally with layovers in the US, so we asked the agent at the Swiss desk in Berlin how it would would with both of those aspects in our travel with the itinerary changes. The agent told us our luggage would follow us all the way to San Diego and we didn't have to worry about it. However, we learned once we got to San Diego that our bags were left in San Francisco because apparently we were supposed to pick them up and recheck them, but we had no idea. It was a huge bummer and we wish we would have had more control over our itinerary that day. People book certain flights for certain reasons and need to have a say when their flights need to change.

Cons: I was unable to order vegetarian meal before the flight. This also a KAYAK / VAYAMA issue - you can not pass the info about special meal to the airline and Swiss seems to require that you order through them in order to specify such details. You should improve this.

A day after I perches a multi destination tickets I called Swiss air costumer service requesting to upgrade my tickets to business class. no one would even try to help me. They just kept saying I need to contact my travel agent. After 3 phone calls I gave up and decided to wait and upgrade my ticket at the airport. 2. In Prague the night before my second flight I hurt my knee real bad to a point that I couldn't walk at all. The next morning I call Swiss air costumer service again trying to explain them my situation telling them I can't fly and won't be able to make it to my flight. Costumer service cancelled immediately all of my remaining tickets and try to sell me new tickets for a full price. I said I don't mind buy and pay for the one flight I missed but there is no reason for her to re sell me the rest of my tickets that I already paid for, again. Then she start to change prices up and down like in a Chinese flea market. At that point I begged her to talk to a supervisor but she Kept ignoring my request and just try to negotiat for a lower charg she kept me on the phone for 5 hours. My hotel phone bill for that one call cost me 150€. I never got to talk to a supervisor but she took down the charge to 517$ Not included a new ticket flying out of Prague. 3. For my last flight going home. I showed up 2.5 hours Earlier. asking to upgrade my sit to business fin desk send me to talk to asupervisor. The supervisor was trying to process my request but didn't seem to know what he was doing at all. One minute he was on his computer then the next minute on the phone with Swiss air headquarter then back on his computer for more then 35 minutes with no resolute. I still had an hour and half before take off when he told me he can print me the ticket but it's to late now since the gate for my flight is close and I already missed my flight. I said that's impossible cause I still have an hour and half to my flight but he insist on the gate been close and there is no way I can get on that flight. Right away I run back to front desk asking them to print my ticket as fast as possible cause I would really like to get on that flight. In front desk they told me not to worry cause I got plenty of time to get on that flight. So I gave up on the business upgrade and told them that at that point I'll be just as happy to sit by the window. Of course they put me on the very end exactly in the middle. After the door was locked I looked around and saw plenty of free sits available including by the window. 4. In Zurich I finally managed to upgrade my last flight coming back to Tampa fl to business and noticed that the only way they could do that was by contacting Swiss air headquarter for approval. When I asked why is that since I fly a lot and never seen anything like that before one of the lady's there told how Swiss air left all of their front desk powerless and all decisions must be made by headquarters.

Pros: I have flown Turkish Air many times since 2010, and used to like the airline. Not so much anymore. I would say their entertainment center and food are pretty good.
Cons: They used to have an affordable Economy Premium option, now all they have are seats made for someone 5’5” 150 pounds. Anyone over 6’ can and will suffer greatly. I’m 6’4” and fly many of their 12 hour flights from LAX to Istanbul and have to sit sideways, until my back aches so bad I have to turn. They also keep their planes unbearably hot, which I have no idea why, making the trip in that cramped seat horrible. Their in between meals snacks consist of cheese sandwiches, and the attendants never come around with drinks or snacks. I also fly Singapore Air and Emirates and their service is subperb!
Cons: The crew on board was aloof, and somewhat rude. I was traveling with my 87 yr old mother and they did little to help, especially when we needed the restroom but they had the aisle blocked for most of the time, serving food. There was no way to get around to access the bathroom and the crew turned us away from the only available bathroom in the front. Really?! Not impressed at all. Also the flt was 30 minutes late making our connection tight. One of the young, gorgeous stewardesses was rude and dismissive of me when I asked about it.

When I saw that the people had boarded, I went to the counter asking for the wheelchair. They sent me to Egypt Air to request it. Of course Egypt Air said I was not their passenger, so I should request the chair to my airline. I tell the man from Egypt air to talk directly to his colleagues in Turkish Airways. He is angry and tells me he's doing me the favor of getting the chair even if it's not his job, so i should be very thankful. He requested the chair and sat me on it. Kept telling me I should be thankful to him, even if it wasn't his job. Turkish Airways never got the wheelchair for me and I have mobility problem but they tell me to get to another airline to get it! No entertainment originally in Spanish in any flights for Spanish speaking passengers.

The lines were long and people would literally pile their plates with massive amounts of food, take it to their seat then leave it. Fix the lockers and add more, they are a wonderful asset but I was not able to take advantage of. Consider limiting access to manage crowds.

There was a priority line, but for some reason I didn't get in it, although I fly business. The line was not that long but it just did not move. And the a/c was not working. Worst boarding experience ever and I've been flying for over 40 years. When I boarded finally I asked if I could give a review and although they said yes- nothing. So I hope someone who cares sees this.

Cons: Customer service said that I was confirmed on my new flight, after the snowstorm in NY caused a cancellation, and that I had a Kosher meal. Neither were true. Had to spend over an hour at the airport to get a seat and almost missed the flight. Something is wrong with the customer service.
Cons: I was shocked when we landed in Ataturk and the sleeve was attached to the plane we had to get down to the ground from the middle of the sleeve. We were taken to the terminal by bus!! After the sleeve was already attached! I can understand when you are in some small airport or flying with low cost airline. But it's Turkish airlines in their home airport! Really disappointed.

Got back to SD 4 hours after scheduled time.

KLM blamed the fog at Manchester but to be honest most other flights seemed unaffected. Put up in an IBIS hotel and fed substandard food and shitty hotel room with an Aircon unit that clunks into action every 30 seconds keeping me awake. It's external so I can't switch it off. Being given a 10 Euro voucher for food at the airport when most food and a drink will cost you 12 to 15 euros.

The flight has a 32 hour layover and KLM lost my luggage and it was not found until a week after my arrival back home. I still have not received my bag at this time.
