Pros: Hair plane was very clean

Pros: Safety.
Cons: More options for Food (snaks and drinks)

Cons: Not 2 hour delay leaving.

Pros: The flight was short
Cons: I absolutely HATE aisle seats. The crew brush pass you putting all of there private body parts on you and they will absolutely run over you with that metal cart. It’s so unprofessional. They brush pass you with their butts, crouch area, and hands all over you. Awful experience

Cons: The flight left late, and got into San Diego late. By the time we landed I was unable to get my rental car. The car rental places were closed.

Pros: The flight out of MCI was delayed... no employee appeared before the actual loading time..so no one knew what was happening until it was time to Board. When the agents finally arrived they seemed very “disorganized” and confused and did a poor job explaining the delay... and once the gate change was
Cons: Continuing... was announced they were rude about explaining the gate change, then no one was at the new gate, was a chaotic mess off people all crowding trying to board, the agent yelled “GET IN ONE LINE!” as if we were all idiots... plane was uncomfortable... I stood up to use the restroom, and a

Cons: No cost for carry on bag

Cons: Frontier seats are very uncomfortable

Cons: Wasn't able to check in due to frontier merchant difficulty and couldn't get on the flight wouldn't allow to pay for seats

Cons: Delayed with no reason which costed me more money as I didn’t get home until 3am

Pros: During the flood we had to go around the storm and camping was good to keep us informed of the status
Cons: The flight was delayed before we left and there was no update on the boarding area or on the app which is where I go to try to find out information is often difficult to maneuver with in the app..

Pros: crew is always resilient
Cons: Our plane was on time coming into Denver. We ended up changing gates due to another flight. Instructions for changes were not easily understood on the overhead. We ended up approx 1 hour late arriving in Salt Lake City. An additional cost of $20 was added to my shuttle as I was unable to claim bag until after 1 am.

Pros: Very smooth flight

Pros: Staff was great. Baggage and service was handled well.

Pros: Great flight

Cons: 3hrs late

Cons: Charge you for everything!

Pros: It flew fine.
Cons: Worst seats ever in a plane. Didn't even offer water, without our asking.Charge for even carry on is short sighted, leaves bad taste before flying.

Pros: Cheap round trip tickets.
Cons: Unreasonable delay time. Lost baggage. Mediocre customer service for the lost baggage.

Cons: Scariest plane ride ever, the pilot landed terrible, I don't even know how to explain it. So much stress we practically nose dived, it was like they realized "dang we have to land, I forgot about that, let's go straight down and almost crash"

Cons: The only bright spot was your great crew. First, Frontier doesn't even staff its ticket counter at MCI, so, heaven forbid there's an accident on the highway and we're a couple of minutes late, we can't even get through security. That's beyond annoying. Frontier charges for everything. For seats. For bags. For drinks. For food. So, after a haphazard boarding process and ending up in a middle seat, I flew on a lawn chair. Thankfully, it was a short flight. I enjoyed a tiny cup of water and opted not to spend $2.99 on another beverage. All of that, I knew about in advance and expected. I was thinking "at least my flight was cheap..." At the end, Southwest would have even been cheaper. I also didn't realize Frontier couldn't even be bothered by the basics. For example, opening the door when we arrived in Denver. We were on time. We waited on a gate, which is annoying, but not unusual, but then, after we pulled up to the gate, we waited ANOTHER 15-20 minutes in a roasting hot plane. JUST for someone to open the door to permit us to deplane. One of my fellow passengers quipped: "Are they going to make us pay to get off the plane?" Funny, sarcastic, but a sentiment many of your passengers shared. We finally exited the plane, and I waited on my bags--the ones I'd spent $75 to check. There was no information. No announcement. No update. The supervisor truly didn't even know what was going on. An HOUR AND A HALF later, the supervisor said, "I think your bags are still on the plane. We're short staffed, so another supervisor and I will go help unload them" Seriously? At what point did unloading bags become optional? We finally got our bags, and I'm the one who finally told the supervisor that bags from Kansas City were beginning to arrive. She announced it to the rest of the grumpy crowd. It was much worse with the cranky kids waiting on their strollers and carseats. I fly this route often. I arrived home AFTER I usually do on the much later Southwest and United flights. My fiance and I are traveling back and forth DEN-MCI/MCI-Denver often. We no longer even look at Frontier as an option when booking our tickets

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Charging for baggage and not making it clear before buying tickets. Having to wait for baggage.

Pros: Boarding was pretty quick. Denver crew and employees were friendly and helpful.
Cons: Did not see a frontier employee till ten minutes before boarding. The employees all seamed pissed off, including the flight crew. This was all KC leg. Just before landing the flight crew allowed someone to use the latrine. After they had already made their final pass thur of the cabin. The young man returned to his seat about 30 seconds before the pilot announced, "prepare to land."

Pros: Flight was on time, crew was friendly. Had to buy drinks and snacks
Cons: You have to pay for carry-on luggage

Pros: The flights were on time.
Cons: The seats were in comfortable. They charge for baggage whether you check or carry on. They don't send emails to allow check in by phone or computer if you buy your ticket on the internet. Bag check fees are too expensive. You have to pay for all beverages. When all things are considered, when the tickets cost the same amount, there's no reason to pick frontier.

Pros: A bargainprice can be had if you have no luggage. Be prepared to sit up straight on fairly hard seats that don't recline. I cannot complain about spending a week at my daughters, where I already have clothes, for $91.
Cons: I cannot complain about spending a week at my daughters, where I already have clothes, for $91.

Cons: Flight was delayed.

Pros: Left on time arrived early can not beat that. Security was Very Good. Crew on plane was also very attentive. Great trip coming and going. Pat Flaherty
Cons: Had zero problems. NONE.

Cons: It was late by 6hrs and no other alternatives

Cons: They changed their seats, less room, less comfortable, tray tables are tiny, they nit pick and charge for EVERYTHING. They purport to be a discount airline, but in reality they're just a money-grubbing company who nickels and dimes their customers while providing a much worse product than they did before. I will not be flying Frontier ever again.

Pros: Friendly and responsive staff from the check-in to flight attendant. Plane was super clean and very comfortable. We even landed 40 minute early!
Cons: Found out at the gate that checking my carry on would be $30 and taking it on board would be $40. Seemed a little odd, but did speed up boarding with so many people not having carry on.

Cons: The flight was over a hour late for departure

Cons: Plane was an hour late. Then we waited an hour on the runway after we landed.

Pros: wheelchair attendants were courteous

Pros: The chairs in the plane
Cons: The fact that they rescheduled a flight but then weren't ready when they said, I understand delays but professionalism is key when not communicating to clients. The fact that they said they'd give a voucher for next flight, yet I'm still waiting on it to get emailed to me, it's been past 48 hours

Pros: Comfortable seats for a little extra. No stress boarding. Reasonably friendly service.
Cons: Very hard to see the "1" (ONE) when I check in, showing that I have already paid for one piece of checked luggage. The zero where I would add another luggage is in very large font. A bit confusing. On board service could be a little more professional with ongoing offers for service (pick up trash, offer free water) when seat belt light not on. Boarding area was a wee bit crowded in Kansas City.

Pros: Great. ...

Pros: Generally cheap flights and always fast flights to denver.
Cons: No complimentary drinks or snacks with the flight which pretty much every other airline offers. The new seats are not very comfortable. The tray table is a joke for how small it is.

Pros: Its a quick flight
Cons: Boarding took longer than norm departing and arrival. They took away reclining seats and any type of entertainment. Not really like it used to be.

Pros: flight was really good. price was excellent. crew was nice. I had a wheel chair and they were very helpful.
Cons: seats aren't very comfortable. 3 hr delay (not frontiers fault) seats don't recline. don't mind paying for food but VERY pricey.

Pros: Getting off the plane.
Cons: For starters, we scanned our tickets at one gate and boarded at another. First time I've ever seen that. There weren't enough Gate Agents to manage things so I waited in line for 40 minutes to pay your ridiculous $60 carry on fee. By the time someone was able to help me, my boarding group had already boarded. I ended up paying the fee and was forced to gate check my bag anyway as all the overhead space was taken up by the time I got on the plane. Nice work on your end milking that $60 from me. Since I wasn't able to check in ahead of time, I was stuck in the middle seat (I'm 6'5"). I would have happily paid an extra $250 to not sit in the middle, but thats besides the point. Just as I'm about to close my eyes, your stewardess gets on the PA and starts hawking Frontier credit cards for 20 minutes. If that wasnt bad enough, she had the audacity to shove an application in my face and remind me 'its the best credit card in the industry!' The credit card pitch and "buy 3 get 1 free' happy hour offers made the flight feel more like a sad Panama City spring break than a return flight after a long business trip. Alas! We landed at ORD 'on-time' which is always good for Frontier's stats. Unfortunately, we sat on the tarmac for 30+ minutes waiting for someone to man the sky bridge. Oh, and it was a nice touch deplaning in the international terminal returning from a Kansas City flight. Long story short, Frontier is now in the same category for me as Spirit Airlines. You fooled me once, but you wont fool me again. I'm just glad it was a one-way ticket. PS: when did airlines start soliciting tips for the flight crew? In all my years of traveling, I have never seen that before. Embarrassing.

Pros: I didn't receive a smile or even an acknowledgement from flight attendents. Couldn't hear the safety speech at all. Annunciate and speak clearly would be my suggestion. This person sounded like they had a mouth full of mashed potatoes. I won't fly frontier again even though it used to be my preference. The baggage fee, not even a complimentary drink?? Uninterested staff. Very poor customer service. However, the pilot got us to destination on time and w/out mishap, hence my OK rating. Otherwise super disappointed in crew and staff.

Pros: not much
Cons: poor customer service overall. On return trip, required to pay a "carry on bag fee" of $45 which is nearly double what most airlines charge to check a bag. was a total surprise charge, as we were not charged on the trip out. Return trip - sat on runway for 40 minutes before take off. Made up some time in the air. Upon arrival, sat again for > 30 min before a gate opened. dreadful. Didn't offer beverages without a charge - had to ask if you wanted water (not offered). Purchase snack menu items - very poor selection.

Cons: We landed 30 minutes early and got off the plane 15 minutes late. Of course statistically Frontier is going to say that they were early to tote their efficiency. Not so efficient when you have to sit on the plane for 45 minutes while your ride from the airport circles around wasting gas because Frontiers website indicates you have already landed.

Pros: Flight staff was nice.
Cons: Seats were awful as was the mini tray tables

Pros: The crew members were very pleasant, professional, and efficient. The flight was relatively smooth and quick. Boarding and unloading went relatively quickly. Flight embarked about on time and arrived early.
Cons: There was absolutely no advance information regarding the additional cost for both checked and carry-on luggage. Apparently, the cost for checked and carry-on luggage varies from flight to flight, since what we were charged, $30 per bag checked and $40 per bag carry-on, differs from costs I see in other reviews. Additionally, we were not advised at any time prior to the flight that everything, including water, had to be paid for and only by credit or debit card. The seats were extremely small and there was no leg room whatsoever. If the flight had been much longer, we would have been in quite a bit of pain because we both suffer from a significant amount of arthritis. We were not offered a pillow...not even sure there were any pillows.

Pros: They charged for everything. I was surprised that they did not have a toll on the bathrooms. Staff was kind.

Cons: Delayed again longer then they said it would be as well, also their reason was "there's no good reason" awful

Pros: The boarding was fine, The flight was good.
Cons: The baggage fees were ridiculous. especially carry on. And on such a short trip. I feel if you're flying on any airline one carry-on and one checked luggage per passenger should be free. Anything after that then charge for it. Especially for flights shorter than 2 hours. like ours from Denver Co. to Kansas City Mo. Unless you're traveling without any bags I guess it's pretty inexpensive. But that's unrealistic. I'll probably check other airline options as far as baggage. Cause this is a horrible way to treat passengers flying on your Airline.

Cons: Seats are way to small. Crew was rude. Flight was 2-1/2 hrs late

Pros: Getting home safely.
Cons: Getting home on time.

Pros: Not at all
Cons: Your rules! Spirit allows 1 carry on? Sucks. You have to bay $50 to check A single bag? Sucks and too expensive why don’t you try to be like Jet Blue and make it nice for us flyers. Spirit blows

Pros: I like better if the food is free

Cons: Too crowded given the current situation

Pros: Here's the thing... With Spirit you know what you're getting. It has the least leg-room of any airline in North America and virtually no services. If you're bringing a bag of any kind you may be better off traveling with a competing airline. There won't be complimentary snacks or beverages and there won't be in flight entertainment. Make sure you bring your own, and be sure you know how long you can be comfortable on a flight that feels more like a long distance bus than an airline. That said, if you can get away with what you can carry in a small backpack and you aren't bothered by the possibility of cancellations or delays then nothing beats the price of a Spirit flight. The flight attendants and other staff are consistently friendly and helpful, and improvements have been made in their on-time record. Spirit is low cost, low frills. You get what you pay for, and if all you're paying for is transportation this is a good option.

Pros: The crew was nice. Y
Cons: Everything else. I couldn't check in online. When I got to the airport, I was told I didn't have a flight. I showed the lady my confirmation email and she kept telling me that I only had one flight (this was my return flight home from Florida), I had to show her the difference between the two flights. Then she tried to tell me that I had cancelled my flight online..... which I hadn't, hence me being there trying to check in. Horrible company. They push their flight attendants to have customers sign up for the Spirit credit card. Just horrible horrible company.

Cons: Flight was 2 1/2 hours late. Big front seats only barely bigger than regular seats. Flight attendants were more like salesmen - pushing the spirit credit card. Flight attendant very brisk as I initially sat down. I wanted to get something from my bag before stowing it in the Compartment above me. She literally took it out of my hands and said I couldn't have the bag out. The plane was still boarding, I was standing in front of my seat, not in the aisle, so passengers could continue to pass by. Very rude.

Cons: I had 3 bags which could easily fit into the cabin space. One of the bags I had carried was the same bag which I had while boarding the flight from Boston to Chicago on 8th Jun 17. While in that trip I was not charged for the bag as the size & weight fitted into your norms. But I had to pay $195 for 3 bags, including the bag which I had while leaving Boston. The behavior of the staff manning the boarding gate was nasty. As I was not having a credit card with me, I chose to pay cash. But they refused to accept cash & told me that my flight will be cancelled and I won't be allowed to board the aircraft. I panicked & requested the passengers to take money from me and swipe their card. With great difficulty I found a passenger who obliged me. A fresh boarding pass was issued to all 4 of us. The bag which I had while taking the flight to Chicago on 8/6/17 fitted on the equipment which measures the sizes, but I was made to pay for it. Very horrible experience of flying a so called low fare airline.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything that Spirit has done has been mediocre. I bought a ticket for my employee to fly to New Orleans and he showed up at the kiosk 40 minutes before the flight and was not able to get on so I had to pay $15 to reschedule for today and he showed up at the same time and still they said that their computers were down and they couldn't check anybody in and there's multiple people angry that they're boarding passes want working and so now we have to figure out how he can get to New Orleans and actually make it there. It'll be three days of not being able to get there because of spirits unethical and subpar customer service. I will never choose to fly Spirit again after this

Pros: The crew was friendly and informative and my seat was comfortable. I also received numerous updates regarding my delayed flight so I felt well-informed as to the situation.
Cons: My flight was delayed three hours. In spite of this lengthy delay, no complimentary food or drink was offered on the flight. I have experienced delayed flights prior to this and have found that the airline generally tries to make it up a little bit to the passengers by offering them some basic complimentary snacks and drinks, which I feel is a nice gesture. I was a little surprised that this was not offered with my delayed flight yesterday. The only available food and drink options were very pricey so I went without.

Pros: Crew were nice
Cons: Late

Cons: Spirit airlines cancelled my return flight along with nine other flights that morning. Their were hundreds of passengers left stranded and had to fend for themselves to figure out away to get home. The majority had to spend anywhere from $400-$1000 on a one way ticket back on an alternate airline. Definitely my worst experience yet. Customer service was rude and it took five hours standing in line to talk to someone at the airport. I ended up having to fly to a different city and drive to an a half hours in the other direction to get my car that was at the airport I flew out of originally. Never Fly Spirit Airlines no matter how cheap the flight is. You'll end up paying a lot more in the long run when they cancel your flight. This airline will be out of business in less than a year. I guarantee it!

Pros: Not much except the quick boarding but that's because no one brings a checked bag which is a HUGE negative.
Cons: First of all the people who work at spirit in Florida are very rude. Second it is a major scam that they advertise cheap flights. Their flights are cheap because they charge you for your carry on. $57 to carry on a small roller bag and $50 to check your bag. To me that is unbelievable. There is plenty of space and it makes no sense. They also won't even give you a free cup of water. Flying naturally dehydrates your body. I'm surprised we don't hear about more people getting sick or passing out on their flights! I just couldn't believe for a 3 hr flight I'd have to buy a water bottle. In the end just was not worth the cheaper flight price. I will never fly spirit again.

Pros: Crew was very nice.
Cons: Ridiculous charges for everything you get on other carriers for free: printing boarding pass, choosing a seat, water, carry on bag allowance. Additionally seats are extremely small(and I am not a big person), no inflight entertainment available at all, no option for an electronic boarding pass and additionally the flight was delayed. With what I paid for the flight itself, the charge for 1 carry-on bag and the fee for selecting a seat at the time of booking, my total cost was more than what I would have paid on Delta or American. Will not be a repeat customer of Spirit.

Cons: There was a medical emergency on board that had everyone questioning what was going on. We all heard a scream, that of course freaked all of us out. Nobody was telling us what was going on or asked for a Doctor on board. We even landed without knowing what happened. Because most of the staff was tending to this issue, when it came time to throw out trash, the flight attendant was swiftly walking down the plane calling out "trash". I didn't even have enough time to hand him mine before he passed our row without looking. The flight was also extremely turbulent. And a word of the wise for future Spirit purchasers: the seats do not recline AND there is no on board entertainment.

Pros: Good service and staff worked with a smile.
Cons: The website is not the easiest to navigate. I don't like the look...not very professional. The ads boast of the airlines low cost but it Nichols and dimes you for every little thing. I wasn't happy that when I did the early check in the day before departure it offered me to get bumped up to Zone 2 so we would get seated first and have first access to the overhead bin. I purchased it for about $20 but on the way to West Palm they called both zones to get up to board the plane and for the return trip to Boston, Zone 1 got called first to board. This was money spent for nothing....like a donation. the bottom line is that what we spent with Spirit was not less expensive than other airlines. By the time you add all extra fees, there are no savings.

Pros: nothing
Cons: the flight was delayed again and again for over 18 hours even as other planes from other airlines took off around us. at one point we boarded the flight and sat 10 feet from the gate for over an hour before they returned us to thr gate and made us disembark. for another set of delays we were told that the person supposed to tow the plane had lost his access badge and another person had to drive in from home to do the work. other than this, the gate staff gave the passengers limited to no information. no amenities were provided to delayed passengers (no snacks, accommodations, etc). plus, the terminal had only one women's restroom with only two stalls, one of which was frequently out of toilet paper.

Pros: The flight to Fort Lauderdale was outstanding in all respects, including carrying on our bags.
Cons: The Spirit check-in for the flight back (2/27/17#616) was degrading, confused, and expensive: the worst ever in a long experience flying worldwide and our last with Spirit. After making them aware of a hip transplant, we were directed to the wrong location eliciting an rude expletive; redirected, we were told our carry-on was too big and charged $50. to check it. I had carried it on at Logan and with Delta 2/8 and 2/10) and many other airlines before. On board people all around us carried on bags similar in size to our checked bag.

Cons: They told me I needed to spend a lot of money to sit with my 6 and 7 year old children. A LOT of money. Without spending extra, we would be assigned random seats. I didn't believe them because it breaks FAA rules, , so I checked in without our. Basing the seats and I was already seated with my kids. They obviously lied and tried for the upsell. They changed my flight 4 times and never sent a notification Website is intentionally deceptive and horribly designed. I tried to purchase bags and it checked me in (without my consent), tried to upsell me on a credit card 4 times, tried to upsell and confuse me about purchasing priority boarding, Only one working bathroom on a full flight. They deceived everyone at the gate and said a carry on was 100 dollars but failed to mention that it only applied to carry ons over a certain size. Worst company I've ever dealt with. Deceptive.

Cons: After a slight parking delay at the airport I made it to the Spirit check-in 43 minutes before departure. Spirit representatives had already left the counter leaving me, my family, and several other passengers who arrived just after me with no ability to get boarding passes. We proceeded to the security area where we could see the Spirit reps who could have easily checked us in at that point. We spoke out to them asking for help but they simply looked down and ignored us. They told the TSA agents they would not come out till after the flight departed. Imagine how frustrating that was to hear. No other airline behaves like this. Later, my request for cancellation and refund was rejected because I missed the 45 minute window. I am out $544. I managed to get a flight with Delta that morning and was treated like royalty by comparison. The Delta flight was almost the same price to boot. Never again Spirit! Not worth saving a few pennies to be treated like that.

Pros: The flight crew was very good. They made constant announcements as to the status of the flight and anticipated turbulence. The flight attendants were also good
Cons: Where to begin. You arrive at the airport to endless lines. There were three lines to check in and we learned eventually that one line was for Cuban flights. One for us and one for something else. However, the staff was rude and there was no signage indicating which was which. Then the baggage claim lady charged me $59 extra for my bag but then said that if I had had my friends check the bag I wouldn't have had to pay the fee. Of course then it was too late. Then the flight was delayed because the bad overbooked it. Finally at Boston our bags took forever to arrive and when they did the were soaking wet. I understand that Spirit is meant to be the economical carrier but that is no excuse for rude and incompetent staff. I heard SOO many people say they would never fly Spirit again. Get it together Spirit!

Pros: If you don't mind minimal leg room, seats that don't recline and high prices for low grade food, the crew was courteous, the plane was clean and we had a smooth flight that arrived on time! Hiccup We paid for our bags online the night before but the Kiosk said still owed the money. Very frustrating now having to now wait in the ticket line, and with holiday TSA long lines, we were the last ones to board the plane as the gate closed. That needs to be fixed. It we didn't make it you would have gotten a scathing review. $45 per carry-on is real steep though. However, all is well!

Pros: Totally so mad at check in on line 24 hours ahead of time - found out one piece of checked bags is $40, a carry on was another $20 and seat assignement was yet another fee. All this after buying a ticket! We had no idea there were so many other fees. The airport was was out of our way and we only booked the flight because the fare was lower. When we found at AT CHECK IN, 24 hours ahead of time about all the extr fees, we rebooked on another airline and said forget this airline, what a rip off! Never again will book this airline with all those hidden fees. It was excessive and not mentioned till check in. Bad business model!!

Pros: The plane was clean (looked new) and the crew was very nice and helpful!
Cons: After having to pay to choose seats and paying over $400 in changes for luggage (2 people one carry on and one checked luggage each) we also had to pay for any beverage or snack on the plane. Also, apparently we didn't read carefully, though no one was able to point me in the correct direction, there is a limit to the weight on the checked luggage of 42lbs and we each were at 45lbs.... I'm aware of the 50lbs limit not 42. We had to over stuff our carry-ons after paying over $400 to even have checked luggage in the first place!! Otherwise we would have had to pay anther $100 for an additional carry-on. The seats are padded shells and, for long flights, can be uncomfortable. We ended up being over an hour late, there was no communication until the landing announcement.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: I had 2 tickets booked for Boston on November 17th at 5:58pm. I tried to check in online for both travelers, but according to Spirit Airlines website, you cannot check 2 tickets from the same account. When I arrived at BWI airport and went to the Spirit Airlines desk the lady told me that the flight is closed even though it was still not boarding time yet. I explained to her what happened and asked for cooperation, but she just kept repeating that flight is closed and next flight is in 2 days, which I couldn't wait for, because of the scheduled appointments that I had in Boston. In general the service was terrible and the website platform didn't work right. I had tk pay $250 dollars for last minute ticket while I already lost the money for the first two tickets.

Cons: Flight was delayed 1.5 hours that they did not tell us about until we got to the gate because of 'air traffic', which should have been known ahead of time. Flight attendants were obviously tired and in a bad mood. Very small room in seat. The passenger behind me had her knees digging into my back the entire trip. A woman got too drunk and had to be moved to the front of the plane right in front of me because she was too intoxicated and out of hand. She was yelling and then threw up. It was overall one of the worst flights I've had in a very long time. It wasn't all Spirit's fault, but they didn't help the situations because you're paying for the "bare minimum".

Cons: Horrible Horrible airlines. First airline that I will make it a point to never fly again. They obviously are nickle and dime-ing everything, but more more predatory than that. Was warned by many on how to avoid this, but still ended up with $140 in extra fees and spent 30 mins on the phone to a foreign customer service line. Spirit changed the gate 20 minutes before boarding but kept the electronic signage same, so people arriving on time waiting at the original gate and missed their flight. With some repeated experience you may be able to to learn minimize you losses but honestly it is not worth this experience again. And if you search online, you will notice that this is a common experience with Spirit.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Where do I begin? The price seemed reasonable until I arrived and they charged me $55 to CARRY-ON my bag. Would have been $55 to check it but I was afraid they would lose it. Then boarding the plane there was a sign saying "FIT CREW: We have the youngest crew of any airline". To me that says age discrimination and also inexperience. When I finally sat down, there was trash on my seat and also facial oil on the window. It was clear that they did not clean between flights. Sitting down, my seat was broken and reclined every time I leaned against it. I had a child about 5 years old behind me that was disturbing everyone in our area and the flight attendant never addressed the situation with their parent. When the child was slamming their tray up and down on the back of my seat, a stranger finally said something. Also, don't expect to even get water for free. $3 a pop! The landing was also extremely rough. Needless to say, I will never fly this airline again!

Pros: Nothing
Cons: I fly a lot. I took spirit because of the great deal I got, but will never fly them again no matter what. I will pay more for a flight because of the poor customer service. My flight was cancelled after being delayed after 10 mins. This is was about my 10th time flying the airlines, I was trying to give them a chance, and every time have had serious problems. I work customer service and understand how annoying these message are and realize there will probably be nothing done about how I feel and the poor service I received, but really this was a horrible experience. Lucky I am savy at finding new flights. I stood in line to change mine while on the phone with spirit and lucky cancelled the flight with spirit. I had to rebook with a different airlines. The difference between the flight was $240. My husband rebooked it for me while I was on the phone with spirit. Never again will I fly this airlines, no matter what I do!

Pros: The cabin crew and pilot wert wonderful!
Cons: Checking in was a nightmare! The self serve kiosk was at the counter and we had to wait in line with full service to even get to one, that took almost 40 minutes, then tsa had an unbelievably long line and took another hour! We got to the gate just in time for final boarding call. The flight crew announced they were going to close doors but changed their mind to continue "refueling" and let almost fifteen more people on! If I had been one of those people who got to the gate to be told boarding was completed I would have been furious! They needed to wait for those people, still it delayed our flight about 20 minutes. The flight itself was a little bumpy, definitely an economy airline.

Pros: The cost is excellent & staff was very friendly.
Cons: Lack of communication. When printing out boarding pass, it flashed the flight was delayed @ 90 min, which I thought was weird. Just thought I'd check in later. When I called TSA in Kansas City I was told the same. So when I arrived at the airport they were announcing thaty flight was boarding, I went to baggage counter and was told I had to take my case on the plane, TSA security told me to take it to baggage counter. I told TSA I'd already been there, the 2 of them start arguing back and forth about my bag, if they would have taken my bag when I 1st went to turn it in, it would have been on the plane with me. However because they'd called final boarding, all my stuff got left in Kansas City. I've already called the airline to see if my bag made it to Vegas or not but haven't found out yet. As they have nt called me back. Oh the man in front of me was on my same flight & how nag made it on the plane. Extremely annoying for this to happen when it could've ALL been avoided as there was no one else behind me.

Cons: I called 10 days before my flight to cancel it due to a death in the family. I was told someone from management would call me within 5 day about the matter. I never heard back so I called the day before my flight and I was told once again that someone from management would call me within 5 days. They apologized that no one ever called me the first time. It's been 13 days since that last phone call and I still haven't heard back. Three tickets down the drain and no one ever called me back so I could at least pay the cancellation fee to get credit for another future flight. Horrible customer service!

Cons: We had the unfortunate experience of dealing Spirit Airlines yesterday at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, August 13th, on the way to Boston for a wedding. We were asked to check in at the kiosk, which we did. And after spending $412.36 on airline tickets in July, we had to pay $55 for one carry-on bag. After completing the transaction, we were notified that our boarding passes could not be printed and head to the desk. After speaking with their customer representative, "James", we were told the flight was closed and there was nothing he could do. He said the flights are non-refundable and we should have arrived sooner, although our receipt clearly shows we were there ahead of their 45 minute mark. We asked him for our $55 dollars back for the baggage and he said he'll need to get his supervisor. This is when "Carmen" the supervisor came to the station. Their names are in quotations because both employees refused to turn their badges over to show their names, which seems very shady at a security-centered facility like a main international hub airport. (I took photographs of both employees) She said she can not give us a refund and rudely pointed to our receipt to mention all baggage fees are non-refundable. We asked her why would Spirit even charge us a baggage fee for a flight they were not going to let us get on and she said she didn't know, but she can't help us. Neither employee offered any assistance to get us on another flight. We have contacted Spirit Airlines with the receipts showing the time and photographs of the employees, but I think this issue requires further assistance after reading multiple stories online dealing with this same airline. The fact that they are allowed to charge us for bags the day of, then not refund the money, while taking our flight fees, seems illegal. I urge you to take a look into their business practices. They have cost my family hundreds of dollars, with regards to hotel and rental car cancellations, lost traveling fees, time off work, and the main displeasure of missing a wedding!

Pros: Unfortunately there is nothing positive to say here.
Cons: Sadly we had a horrible experience at the airport with the spirit staff. The customer service representative had over 60 people lined up against the wall, not allowing them to "check in" because of minor delay. They were then hand picking who they would let in line, based on their flight and boarding pass. In addition to this I didn't want to spend my day at the airport so I booked another flight home. THEN to realize HE made a mistake..... That was the flight delayed! I then had to ask for a refund and explain that he mixed up my flight. Had 40 min to make it through security at that point. It's been 3 weeks and still no refund. Never again!

Pros: Nothing,
Cons: The check in process for horrific. We waited in line for more than an hour and we were at the front of a line that was at least 3 hours long. The counter was understaffed. Supervisors were not available. Counter staff told us the rest of the staff was "hiding in the back" because they did not want to deal with the problems out front. The seats were very uncomfortable and did not recline at all. It might have been worth it if the flight really was as cheap as the original price, but once you paid for your seat, checked bags, and carry on bags, the cost was comparable to the major airlines. Never again. We are considering buying one way tickets home at the counter for extreme amounts of money just to avoid flying home with them.

Cons: My return flight ticket was cancelled because I did not take the initial flight to Las Vegas. I booked a different leaving flight from Boston because of a job interview and when I showed at the airport to make my return flight booked through Kayak on Spirit , I found out my ticket was cancelled. I was forced to purchase another ticket from another airline. This was concerning since Kayak sent me a reminder about my flight to tell me the flight time had changed. Horrible Customer service at Spirit. The guy i spoke with at the customer service counter said it was not his problem and walked away.

Cons: So we get a call on the way to the airport saying the flight was cancelled.....followed by "Have a great Day :-) '. They offered to book us two days later on a different flight. What???...do they think I'm a sr. citizen with nothing to do but sit around for two days waiting for a flight? Completely ridiculous. I got a refund....but it was ridiculous. I know... I saw all the other reviews saying to "never book spirit"...plus I had another ridiculous experience on Spirit a couple years ago. But after two disasters, I now know to never book spirit again.

Pros: Nothing good about this airline... It is a horrible airline run by rude inconsiderate people who try and rip you off with hidden fees and services! Their business motto is "Let's trick our customers into paying more and then lie to them when they ask simple questions" That's not a good way to run a company and quite frankly I don't understand how they're still in business.... See my bad review section for more details
Cons: The flights were delayed both ways on the round trip, the first flight by 3 hrs and the return flight 1 hour. Both flights were not delayed due to weather because it was nice out. Just poor management. Our return flight was delayed when I woke up that morning and all day it remained delayed on their website. Until 2 hrs before the flight it was switched back to ontime. We called Spirit to confirm and they said it was ontime. So we had to rush out of the house and skip the dinner my father in law made everyone because the airport is an hour away. We got to the airport only to find the flight was delayed on the board. We went to the gate and the Spirit employees kept assuring us the flight was not delayed even after the scheduled time the flight was suppose to leave they continued to lie and were completely dishonest with everyone on the flight. Very rude customer service and they would just ignore people and walk down the runway and shut the door so they wouldn't talk to us or give anyone an update. We could have gone and had dinner had they not lied to us about the departure time. Just the worst airline I've ever dealt with in my life... they may be cheap but you get what you pay for... and any upfront cost for the ticket is false advertising because once you purchase the ticket you then have to pay for a carry on bag, you have to pay to pick a seat on the plane, you have to pay to check in when you're at the airport, and you have to pay for any services on the plane including the "complimentary drink or snack." Their seats on the plane do not recline at all to make things more comfortable either. I will never fly them again and I warn anyone else who might think saving $50 on the ticket price is worth it cause they get it back in the end and then some!

Pros: Cheap flight, no waiting to print boarding pass.
Cons: The flight was slightly delayed, but the gate agent did not seem to know about it and the email was sent well after the scheduled boarding time. It was completely unnecessary for me to run through the airport. The same thing happened the last time I flew from BWI to Logan with Spirit.

Cons: The flight attendants were totally unprofessional. After falling asleep during taken off, what sounded like a rowdy brunch with too many mimosas woke me up. It turned out to be four flight attendants hanging out in the rear of the plane chatting very loudly. They were certainly the loudest people on this 6:30 am flight. They were much louder than the three young unattended minor boys on the flight. It sounded like they were having a great time. They were even swapping "funny" stories about passengers from previous flights. I could have slept despite the uncomfortable non-reclining seats on this flight but the flight attendant party made it it impossible. I am sure I was not the only one. Everyone in the back 5 rows was awake. The most unprofessional customer service I have ever experienced. On another note, the spirit website that one must use to check in for free is a pain. The mobile version does not work properly and the password reset link doesnt workl

Pros: Nothing
Cons: I had never flown spirit before and I will never fly with them again. First off the pricing they advertise is completely misleading. I purchased my ticket thinking I was saving some money compared to other airlines to only find out that they slap you with a million other fees. You need to pay to bring a carry on, you need to pay for non-alcoholic beverages even water. By the time all of these added up and I was in the middle of my flight sitting in not to mention the most uncomfortable seats with no leg room and no ability to recline for over 5 hours, the total cost was equal to if not greater a flight on my usual go to airlines, American/US.

Cons: My flight (414 on July 1st) was scheduled to depart around 6PM. Poor weather was forecasted for Boston but had not yet delayed any flights. An earlier flight at that gate to Atlanta had not left because of smell of raw sewage on the plane. Our plane was re-assigned to the Atlanta flight (which was about 4 hours late in departing). Our flight was delayed. And then due to the increasingly poor weather in Boston ended up cancelled with no new flights being available until more than 24 hours later. Because our flight (and not the Atlanta flight) was cancelled because of weather, we were not offered any recourse except to either reschedule or get a refund. It seemed obvious to everyone that a decision had been made to ensure that the Atlanta flight was not the one cancelled since it would have resulted in some type of compensation to the ticket holders. Had our flight left on schedule, we would have missed the bad weather as other airlines were still landing in Boston when our flight was scheduled to land. Will never fly with Spirit again and would highly recommend avoiding this airline to anyone else. Never did find out why the plane smelled of raw sewage either (which is also concerning as well).

Pros: Absolutely nothing.
Cons: We were told that our flight was delayed, with no explanation. Then, we were told it was weather. However, weather in Boston was clear and then slightly stormy. They said it was a 'ground stop' which is for severe weather. People waiting for passengers in Boston said that the weather was not severe. Then, after waiting for hours, with a plane at our gate, our flight was canceled, without explanation. People received conflicting information from, a cabin pressure issue, to a severe smell aboard the plane, to a ground stop in Boston. Spirit could not book us on another flight or a different airline until potentially late the next day (we didn't wait in the 2-hour line to find out). This is the last time I will fly with Spirit. Budget tickets shouldn't mean budget service and lies.

Pros: Crew stayed friendly despite an annoying delay. Information about the delay was first shared quickly (by the pilot I think).
Cons: After not even boarding before our departure time and then being told to deboard and wait two hours, there were several concerns. 1) The staff who handled boarding weren't articulate in the process and came off rude. 2) By the time we deboarded, all the kitchens were closed and even snack places were closing. So everyone who was now upset and hungry. 3) When it was time to board again, no announcement was made over the loud speaker, despite several of us getting confirmation that would happen when we first got off. 4) If it was my company, and I would have noticed the terminal was closing the shops and would have offered complimentary beverages to passengers during the flight. Almost everyone I talked to or overheard directly expressed their dissatisfaction with Spirit airlines and vowed they would not be using them again. An unexpected free soda would have been a cheap way for you to sway some people to give it another shot.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Customer service was absolutely terrible. I thought that the walk-up fee for luggage would be $35/45 but when it was $50 I gave a shocked expression. Which, that's fine if it was advertised that way (I'm sure it was). But when the lazy desk attendant, who was doing nothing but holding a wall up, says "I can't believe people are shocked when you tell them that, it's like come on you know." I'm fine with you saying that when I'm gone, but when people are standing right there and can hear you while you are acting like they aren't even standing there....that is when you have a customer service issue. Although I wanted to lash into him, I felt like it wasn't worth it and much below my level, and I apologize for not gathering that person's name so you may address this properly. Understandable that there are delays, but there shouldn't be a delay EVERY time that a person fly's on a certain airline. I'll try to print tickets online and it says error, but then need to have a discussion about why I am not paying $10.

Pros: nothing
Cons: My flight to Boston was 1:54 PM ORD 6/2/16. I booked this flight months ago in order to attend my daughter MIT convocation ceremony on 6/3/16. I arrived at ORD very early in the morning on 6/2/16 and waited at the gate L7 before 11 AM. The flight was kept delay several times, I waited near by the gate and checked with the desk lady many times and was kept told that the flight was delayed, finally the flight left around 3:55 PM without any announcement. I missed the flight. I was told to go to gate 11A for this issue. Martin who worked there with the customers like me who missed the flight was very impatient and not helpful at all. Never take the Sprint airline again.

Pros: We were on time.
Cons: First of all, the bag fees are overpriced (and I booked mine online ahead of time). When I was paying for it online, the website crashed three times while processing my payment (in two different browsers) and ultimately wouldn't let me print my boarding ticket. Secondly, when waiting to board, the staff person at the counter made a drawn-out announcement about the checked bag fee increasing no fewer than twenty times. Similarly, the credit card membership announcement during the flight was a fifteen-minute affair that was irritating and unwelcome. I understand that it's a budget airline and that part of enjoying reduced ticket fare is a compromise to endure advertisements and extra fees for things, but when it becomes endless and annoying, preventing you from talking to your neighbor, sleeping, or just enjoying the flight, it really calls into question whether it's worth it. Finally, the cabin was much too hot and, although several people called it to the staff's attention, the air conditioning never seemed to work. Overall it was an uncomfortable and unpleasant experience that made me reconsider whether it was worth the reduced fare, which isn't all that much lower than the mainstream option. I was disappointed and frustrated.
