Argentina suspended international passenger flights from the pandemic "affected areas" (Europe, the US, South Korea, Japan, China, and Iran) until at least November 8.
With effect from October 30, nationals and residents of Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay can enter Argentina to visit the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires for tourism purposes. I followed the baggage allowance explained on kayak website and on Aerolineas Argentinas. I took a bicycle which is free and i pay $100 to packed it as Aerolineas wanted. When I arrived it was a Delta flight and they told they don't allow bicycles and that i had to play $150. Aerolineas website and kayak clearly says that bicycles were free on my flight. I show the agent my ticket and that no where it said delta to consider what he was saying since it is an alliance but i was not informed about it. He said no and after wait there for a while before boarding i kindly ask to speak with a supervisor and the denied it and disappeared. We immediately proceeded to look for the Copa Airlines check-in desk. We walked up and down the check-in area a couple of times, but couldn't find Copa anywhere. The monitor listing the departures had the counter numbers for Copa listed, but there was no one there. Eventually an airport employee told us where to find the Copa offices on the second floor. We arrived at the office 40 minutes before our scheduled departure. Someone in that office could have easily attended to our bags and walked us to our gate. Instead they fiddled with their computers trying to put us another flight. They left us standing there for over a half an hour with absolutely no explanation as to what was going on. Eventually someone came over and said we would have to call the operations center and rebook our flights at a cost of $1500 each. Why they would abandon their check-in desk an hour before the flight departs knowing that there were people on that flight that had not checked in, is a total mystery to me. That coupled with the fact that they could not have cared less about us making our flight makes me sick!! What a joke!! No one I know will ever ever fly Copa airlines again!!!"

In Buenos Aires when We checked in something similar happened and we could not book our seats the day before bcause they were all taken . The answer was if we wanted a better seat we’d have to pay because only back seats are available in economy and AA waits forbthose whi pay first and only then they”ll give us a seat. I”ve travelled several times with AA and feel the service is not worth the money I pay for it. The food on our flight back to BA was not good st all. However , I have to point out that all my flights BA to N Y, N Y to Mia and Mia BA left on time. On the whole it was good but I believe AA cares onñy about money and I feel disappointed"

BA booked me on the flight but failed to change my ticket from the original flight causing me to miss the flight from Kansas City. At the airport BA agent told me on the phone that I would have to wait 3 more days after I had already waited 3 days because BA canceled my original flight. Because of the flight cancelation I missed two days of work and because of the failure to ticket my following flight I almost missed a full week of work. The BA booking person seemed content that there was no way I could make it to Saudi prior to the end of the week. Fortunately, the AA agent was able to find a way for me to continue my trip on a later flight."

Upon showing the immigration of Argentina my USA passport at the entry, they have NEVER asked me for any kind of proof that I would be leaving within 3 months. At first I started to purchase a ticket to Uruguay by boat and the attendant even asked me the website of the boat because she told me that these problems come up all the time for expats going to Argentina for longer than 3 months. You are ONLY AN AIRLINE. YOU ARE NOT THE IMMIGRATION OF ARGENTINA. Having this said, I never plan to fly Avianca again."
