Cons: Boarding would be so much easier if the ticketing agents,.gate agents or a person standing at the plane door would enforce the size of carry on bag rules, and take the bag from the passenger, before they board the plane. that would decrease the waiting time on the plane, significantly. Leave the flight attendants out of it, and make some one else, on the ground, "The bad guy". With all of the time standing around waiting to board, there would be plenty of time.

Cons: Changed flight status from a direct flight to a 2 hour layover in Seattle, especially with a small child. No soda for drinks, just alcoholic beverages and juice. Flight a little noisy.

Cons: When we got to the gate 3 hours early, we ordered a wheel chair for my wine to board the plane as soon as the first gate personnel arrived. At boarding time the clueless person who brought the wheel chair for us gave it to a 20 something man with a foot in a cast and crutches while my 71 year old wife had to wait until another wheelchair could be brought. The irony is that two wheelchairs were there until just. Edited boarding time and both were taken away.

Pros: This is my first trip on Alaska Airlines and it is now my number 1 airlines. They were welcoming and everyone was smiling. Wow what a difference.

Pros: The flight price was very reasonable. There was a ton of leg room between your knees and the seats. The seats seemed thin when we got on the plane and I was worried at first but they were actually reasonably comfortable! The crew was very friendly and helpful! And free wifi for messaging services was awesome as I was able to iMessage my family during the flight! Didn't try any of the good while on board.

Cons: An hour delay while a replacement first officer was brought in. Considering the circumstances, Alaska Airlines probably did well to keep the delay minimized.

Never had a bad experience with alaska air before but i was thoroughly dissapointed this time.

Pros: When everything was said and done, and most other people on the flight were given free passage to SFO by Airporter bus and then put onto a flight into LAX and then arrange transportation to Orange County (which I had every reason to think was a nightmare for those trying to get to Orange County from LAX due to unclaimed packages (security uproar) and major traffic around LAX and would not work for my disabled family to drive 1.5 hours to pick me up) I paid for a bus to SFO myself and booked a flight from there to Santa Ana (John Wayne) on Southwest. I eventually arrived there around 730 PM. Alaska refunded my flight southbound and still offered me $400 credit which was nice of them. That being said, the propeller planes are really noisy so don't expect a comfortable experience. But its worth it for the convenience to travel from Santa Rosa, CA (Sonoma County Airport) to Santa Ana (John Wayne Airport) provided they don't cancel your flight. Alaska will be adding more flights on this same route by summer and they deserve some credit for that, but at the end of the day, it was my own resourcefulness that saved the day, and got me to my family December 22nd. I would have had to wait until December 24th through Alaska Airlines for the same flight, and that is when my family celebrates Christmas, so that was NOT a very appealing option.

Pros: i really liked everything about the flight. great meals, comfortable seats, friendly service from MCI to PDX.
Cons: sadly my luggage/cargo which had fragile placards posted on it still got damaged. it was oversized (113 linear inches) and i tried to protect it as best as i could with cardboard and plastic wrap but somewhere between TSA manually inspecting it in kansas city and inflight, it got broken, so hopefully i find a way to fix it.

Pros: I like flying Alaska because their employees are always helpful and professional. Checking in for my flight is effortless with the Alaska app on my phone. I really like that all I have to do is print my bag tag and drop my luggage at the desk. I don't ever have to wait in long lines except for security at PDX. I fly often and will continue to fly Alaska!

Cons: Thank reserved seats at time of purchase for a British airways plane and paid for extra legroom. When I checked in, I was routed to American Airlines and the seats were the same in the entire aircraft except for first class. Why did I pay and shouldn’t I get a refund?

Cons: My son and I had seats in different places and they asked him to move forward several rows because of weight and the seat beside him was empty so I asked if I could sit next to him and they said no without giving any explanation. That kind of upset me. Just a short explanation would be fine.

Pros: The flight attendants were able to find a place for my carry-on luggage when the overhead bins were filling up. I got a seat with extra leg room by chance (without having to pay the extra fees).
Cons: There are no snacks served on the flight. The Philadelphia Airport was overcrowded. There was hardly any room to navigate and there was a long line at nearly every women's bathroom.

Pros: The American Airways gate agent was very helpful fixing the problem that British Airways created. She went out of her way to get me booked on AA flights to catch my BA flight from London to Riyadh.
Cons: My original flight was cancelled and the first available flight was 3 days later. BA booked me on the flight but failed to change my ticket from the original flight causing me to miss the flight from Kansas City. At the airport BA agent told me on the phone that I would have to wait 3 more days after I had already waited 3 days because BA canceled my original flight. Because of the flight cancelation I missed two days of work and because of the failure to ticket my following flight I almost missed a full week of work. The BA booking person seemed content that there was no way I could make it to Saudi prior to the end of the week. Fortunately, the AA agent was able to find a way for me to continue my trip on a later flight.

It is not free - you have to purchase - They ran out of red wine (which was free) by the end of the first meal. Do you keep just one bottle for this big 777 fight. - Overall experience was horrible.

The seats were curved in the wrong way and didn't recline enough for a 3 hour flight. Cons: Missed my connecting flight. Ended up being ticketed with a different itenerary with 11 hrs layover in Dulles washington. Had to spend my own money to hotel and taxi. And just few hrs when I finally arrived to my final destination, i had to work since I didnt have anymore sick time or vacation time. Very exhausted. Its was a night shift 12 hrs duty.

Cons: After waiting for more than 1hr they started to give some information about the issues, they moved us to another plane that already was planned to be at SF at 10:40 (original flight was for 9pm), it got late again and we got to SFO by 12:20 am. More than 4 hours late. Even after that it took me a while to get a shuttle I even got to insist and explain again to get a Shuttle back home.

Cons: Lufthansa as an agent is a mistake! I had to deal with them prior to flying to the US. I have never ever had to deal with such bad service in my entire life. United was great though and I highly recommend them.

Cons: Impossible to get comfortable on a 10+ hour flight when even in comfort plus ($190 extra) there is no room to put a backpack under the seat in front of you. It’s almost torture to be stuck in your seat for so long.

Cons: The seat legroom was quite tight. I'm tall but usually fit fine in airline seats. Here, however, my knees were always slightly squished up against the seat in front of me so it was a little uncomfortable there.

They didn’t even ensure that everyone wore seatbelts on landing - woman next to me was stretched out hugging her companion while landing wilth unbuckled seatbelt. Entertainment screen did not wirk properly.

Take off took a long time. I was seated at the back row, aisle seat when there were plenty of other seats available; had to hold the lavatory door so it wouldn't open because it was broken and it stinked a lot. Horrible experience.

Pros: The bar is pretty low with United. Even being a 1K member, I am usually just hoping the flight arrives on time. This time it didn't. The crew was polite, which isn't always the case.
Cons: The flight was delayed. Not necessarily UA's fault but they don't make it easy on their customers. Their mileage program has so many elite members, especially in SF that even 1K doesn't give you a strong shot at getting upgraded.
