Passengers were not informed timely of delays. The staff appeared like they didn't really care about the passengers.
Both flights were delayed going to our destination and leaving, and communication about the delays was not great by the airlines, now the crews were phenomenal and great to be around!!
Delayed. It's not our first flight with them either, it's actually our 3rd and all 3 were delayed by hours each time. It was a myriad of delays. On one flight we boarded after being delayed for a little over an hr, only to be told we were going to sit in the plane for another hour before departing. Once landed, we waited another 40ish min to get to our gate. On another flight, flight was delayed just under 3 hrs but atleast we got to wait it out at the airport terminal. Its just a bad experience overall flying with Alaska Airlines.
Flight was delayed for weather, then delayed for mechanical, then just cancelled. Once mechanical problems started I wish you had just started offering rebooking options (at the same airport). I felt my trip was not a priority for you. I called you, I asked for a better option (than changing airports), then I had to literally run around the airport making it happen. Do better.
I would've liked to have the seat tablets like before to view movies, with long travels not everyone carries tablets to view movies. And phones are not worth it because screens to small.
Horrible! No blanket or pillow available! We had bulkhead seats but the seats were worn out and no cushion old. No meal or even a sandwich for our 5 hour flight just a little bag of pretzels. Crabby attendant female with long brown hair. We will not book Alaska Airlines again
On time, smooth take off and landing, efficient boarding. Gate staff excellent, stewardess grumpy, but civil enough.
No WiFi available. It was too late to order food also. Guy next to me was huge (not fat) so had his shoulder & thigh next to me the whole way. Plane was delayed leaving PDX due to 8 other planes waiting. Not my best Alaska airlines flight.
I do wish the the actual airplane I flew on was bigger. But, I made it work.

I DID NOT GO TO HAWAII ON HAWAIIAN AIRLINES. YOU DID NOT INFORM ME THAT BY CHOOSING BASIC ECONOMY, I MIGHT BE REQUIRED TO FLY STANDBY. I AM ELDERLY AS WAS MY COMPANION WHO IS ALSO SEVERELY DISABLED AND THERE WOULD BE NO WAY WE COULD TRAVEL ON STANDBY. THEY TOLD ME THAT ALL OF THE BASIC ECONOMY SEATS HAD BEEN SELECTED BY OTHER PASSENGERS AND WE HAD TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL $942 TO GET A SECURED SEAT ON THE PLAN AND, IN SPITE OF THE ADDITIONAL COST, WE WERE NOT ALLOW US TO AMEND OUR TRAVEL PLANS TO EXTEND OUR VACATION. ULTIMATELY, THE FLIGHT WAS DELAYED. WE WERE OFFERED A REFUND IF WE CANCELED OUR TRIP ALTOGETHER WHICH WE DID. IT IS YOUR DUTY TO INFORM YOUR CUSTOMERS OF THE POTENTIAL PROBLEMS THEY MAY FACE, AND YOU DID NOT DO SO. I WILL NOT UTILIZE YOUR SERVICES EVER AGAIN.
Half of my family members didn’t make it because they involuntary bumped off . And their seats where given away
Hawaiian and Alaska are at opposite ends of the Seattle airport. Apparently, during this time of transition through their merger, only people flying to Hawaii should go to the Hawaiian desk. So, I had to carry my luggage the entire length of the airport. Alaska's desks were sort of a temporary set up behind a wall, and even after all this, they (Alaska) had a great deal of difficulty confirming that I was on the flight, or that I had paid my checked bag fee. Now, they did try to compensate for all this confusion. There was an impressive number of agents, actively engaging and working with customers - not just standing behind the counter, but going out to them with pads in hand. It took some time, but I was squared away, and was apparently upgraded to a business class seat with lots of legroom (much appreciated). I was told this transition would last till August.
Really enjoyed their food treats, staff was friendly and they kept our seats together, check in was excellent, boarding passes uploaded to my wallet! I would definitely recommend Hawaiian airlines to friends and family! 🌺
Great service, fast internet, got a lot of work done during the flight.
Cheap food no options for vegans, no entertainment, no snacks. Too much advertisement about their credit card. Next flight will be Delta Airlines.
All in All a great experience. Cost of luggage sucks … first time I ever had to pay for luggage. Otherwise the check in counter was awesome, the gate clerks were great and the Stewards & Esses were the best.
Love Hawaiian you can’t go wrong, still provides you good drinks and little snack at the end
No tv’s. Had to walk 45 minutes to connect to next flight. Couldn’t get dinner as a result. Ended up eating pretzels until I felt sick.
The pre-flight check in process was bad. The app didn't allow check-in online and forced me to check in at the airport. Alaska didn't have self-service kiosks for check in (only bag tagging stations), so I had to wait in line with people who were checking bags just to get my boarding pass.
