The message I was given during check in process said in red letters, that I needed to speak to an agent at the counter. I was on a tropical island, i couldn't just run down to the airport. I tried calling customer service, but wasn't able to connect due to bad cell service. My connections were tight and because I couldn't checkin the prior day, I was not allowed to get a seat on my original flight. I was rescheduled on to new flights and those were delayed. I sat in Ft Lauderdale for 6+ hours. Once on the plane, I was assigned a seat that doesn't recline. What was originally supposed to be a 5 hour travel day turned into a 15+ hour travel day. There were no weather issues that day, just JetBlue being terrible."

No usb/power at the seat which would be preferable/should be standard by now for a coast-to-coast flight. Seat didn’t recline which isn’t the end of the world but a bit of a bummer. My headphones didn’t work with the little screen at my seat but it’s ok because based on my neighbor’s screen it was just a rotating lineup of Jet Blue commercials/fake tv shows that I can easily pass on."

Cons: "The redesign of seats means that very few of Delta's planes can actually accommodate a sherpa-style pet carrier, even though they are an industry standard for in-cabin travel. Further complicating the problem is that the clearance under the seat varies depending where in the cabin you're seated. It's become an extremely stressful proposition for which I have the privilege of paying an extra +$100 each way whilst having to give up one of my carry ons. As far as I can see, the charge is just straight up greed, since no one would be able to use the space beneath the seat in front of me, anyway, and carrying on my cat cause zero extra work for the crew. I'm going to have rethink my loyalty to Delta. At least with Southwest, they'll let me check two bags for no additional cost."

"For a delayed flight, and one that most choose because of the amenities, no one apologized for the lack of amenities. A simple, “we are truly sorry” announced to everyone would have gone miles. Instead, the crew kept trying to almost conceal the total lack of available entertainment and even feign like it might “sort of work” until the last minute. I was traveling with my life partner, who intended upon and did work the whole flight (despite zero internet, even for the little time avail that we are aware of when traveling to/from PR), but also with a just turned 6 year old who had been looking forward to using “his own” screen for the last 2 weeks. Underwhelming to say the least. The crew’s apathy didn’t help."

Habia un problema con el avion o la torre del vuelo miami hacia san juan PR. Nos ofrecieron estadia en un hotel supuestamente ellos corrian con los gastos ya q se atraso el vuelo y no fue culpa de ningun pasajero segun nos dijo una señorita del counter, resulta ser q el hotel fue el piso del aeropuerto de miami x 8 horas!!! Wow a la verdad q nos vieron la cara de bobos y nos cojieron de bobos tambien. Q trato mas injusto. No volveremos a viajar por AMERICAN AIRLINES asi mismo le dejaremos saber a todo el mundo el trato de esta linea con los pasajeros. Gracias a esto nos agravamos la espalda, costillas. Por culpa de ellos por tratarnos como basura. Eso no se hace!!!! Despues q estabamos sentados en el avion el piloto no llegaba y nos tuvieron q bajar del avion, esperar a que llegara otro piloto para volvernos a montar en el avion!!! Q mala coordinacion!! As is, I paid $403 up front months in advance for this NOT nonstop flight that changed the time of the second flight by 4 hours both going and coming. Any advantage I thought I had with the timing was lost."
Cons: "The planes were small, 34-seat, and they could not fill them because of weight issues. We were encouraged NOT to check bags through (never really understood this) and to gate check carry on bags for valet service. I will say that all Silver staff were courteous and helpful. They just didn’t seem to have enough staff."

Pros: "Late 5 hours getting me to my destination and tried to bump me cause of over booking on my way home! I know things happen when flying however the check in lady at the hotel I stayed at said every time a guest is late checking in its because of Silver airlines. Also there were over 15 other passengers going in different cities very upset because all their flights were late or canceled. Totally screwed up my plans on the first day, I could have driven and made better time. You can keep your pathetic $50 voucher I will never fly Silver airlines again."

And I didn't receive any notification of this when booking flights. Passengers should be aware of this when booking."

After being turned away multiple times and waiting on hold for what seemed like an eternity she finally was able to get me rescheduled for a flight on American Airlines the following Morning."
Cons: "Weather was terrible in Florida, so as expected there were some delays. Sitting in Key West airport I watched Delta and American Airlines depart flight after flight while we, the suckers who booked through United and Silver Airways, sat for 5 hours. The gate worker in Key West and two United Airlines call center workers were completely useless in helping me reschedule the flights that I was going to miss (even with a 5 hour layover at my next stop). The airline blames the entire thing on weather, yet no other airlines were suffering from 5+ hour delays. It's my opinion that early on in the day Silver Airways mismanaged the movement of their aircraft which exacerbated the delays experience by thousands of passengers."

Cons: "Booked United flight, tried to check in on the app. Said i couldn't check in because it was a Silver Flight. Tried to check in through Silver, also got denied. Then the flight was delayed because they had to kick 5 people off. When we boarded said we were still too heavy so started kicking off unaccompanied minors. Tried to kick me off, told them I'm 27 and got accused of looking way younger. Thought I was gonna get kicked off. Finally took off- my seat was in the last row and seat back was broken so I was sinking into the back of the plane getting poked by metal so had to sit straight up whole flight. Plane was so small and old I was terrified the whole way. Finally land and pilot says they are understaffed so had another delay. Then the shuttle trains at airport were broken so had even more delay. I was so late I almost didn't graduate. Did I mention TSA machine incorrectly identified an object in my anal cavity? Hindsight would have rented a car and driven 6 hours than take this 1 hour flight. Worst flight ever."

Decided to double check one last time, come to find out the pilot is standing at the gate and they're already beginning to check people in and getting them ready to board. No announcements, nothing. Just ready to board after half the flight wasn't even at the gate"

Cons: "Flight boarded 45 minutes late while the plane was waiting with the crew to board for an on time departure. I missed my connecting flight and the gate attendant was not helpful with getting me in touch with my airline to see about getting another flight. The ground crew was completely disorganized and couldn't give answers as to why we were delayed."

Cons: "When I got to Fort Lauderdale no luggage was there . I ask silver airlines and they said everything was uoaded from the plane. Then they called Key West and my luggage was never loaded. I was at the airport at 9:00am and my flight left at 12:45pm approximately. How can you not load my luggage. I finally got my luggage at 1:10am on Sunday ."

Late departure is normal for them because their schedule seems to be totally unrealistic and their incoming flights are always late arriving, hence delaying the onward flight. the baggage handling was a joke. On the one hand you could say they were very quick in delivering the checked bags to the carousel but on the other hand they were totally incompetent because the moment the bags arrive they apparently cart them off to their office and lock them up while their employees go off to do other things. In the time it took us to walk from the gate to baggage claim our baggage had been carted off to the office and we had to wait over an hour for the next Silver arrival to find an employee who could open the office and deliver our bags. Additionally there was never any information about the flight on the screens in arrivals and we had to ask a lady at the FLL information desk for help."
