Cons: After landing we sat on the tarmac for 2 hours! This is unacceptable. The gate was occupied by a plane having mechanical issues. This was the second time I have flown JetBlue and the second time I’ve had to sit on the tarmac for hours because of some sort of issue. Never flying JetBlue again if I can help it.

Pros: Extra leg room, comfortable, leather seats, cleanliness of the cabin, efficiency and friendly manner of the staff, assigned seating and enough room in the gate area to be comfortable. I also appreciated being able to hear and understand all announcements made in the gate area and on board by the support staff and the captain.
Cons: Some passengers in the gate area were "seat hogs" sitting in one seat and taking up one to two extra seats for their baggage while people were trying to find places to sit, especially when we experienced delays.. This is not the fault of the airlines, however, but it occurs to me that there could be gentle reminders on in print or in announcements asking people to make room for other passengers.

Cons: When I went to check in for my flight all sets had been picked only the upgraded sets were available for an extra cost. So with saying that I went to the airport with out a set number think my family and I would get bumped, even if the email said they never over book their flight,this was my first time flying jet blue I wasn't going to trust an email so the hole time I was worried about that when I should have been enjoying my last day on vacation.

Cons: An individual who was very overweight sat next to me and took up half of my seat as well. I understand we all deserv to ride comfortably and my intent is not to shame them. That said, if someone can’t put the armrest down I think the airline should require them to purchase both seats as it’s very uncomfortable to be in the position of having no seat for the entire ride. I’m an average sized person so it was a challenge but even tiny people deserve the full seat they purchased. There really should be a rule or something.

Pros: Loved all the available dedicated JetBlue staff available to answer questions. Have not flown JetBlue often but heard many great things.
Cons: Weather delay which is out of JetBlue’s control but once we landed (6 hours later) we sat on the runway for an additional hour because our gate had a disable airplane occupying it. I think JetBlue could have done a better job ensuring a back up gate was available or giving their passenger updates on the situation.

Pros: The crew was great, and so was a JetBlue pilot dead-heading in the seat next to me. I liked the space in the MoreSpace seat I paid for. I relieved that the upgrade seat came with boarding in the first group. Some airlines you pay for the seat, but you're still group 3 or 4 and, meaning all sorts of anxiety about the most miserable part of any flight, the dreaded fight for the overhead bins, wondering it you'll have to check the bag and then wait for it at the destination. Thank you for removing that.

Cons: I never got the opportunity to fly because I was stuck in unusual traffic in a tunnel for over an hour just minutes from the Boston airport. I was later told there was a fire. I called the 1-800-JETBLUE number and I explained that the situation. The agent said that there would be a $75 change fee and at 4:47 pm there were no more flights out that night and that I would also be charged the fare differential the following day. I quickly went on line and found a deep discounted fare on United for $56! When I got to the airport there were several other people with the same situation. Not a enough agents on staff and no concern that I might miss my new flight on United. Thank Gid I acted fast and got another flight that evening or I would have needed to spend the night in the airport like a woman and her mother traveling to San Jose! Need more professionalism !

Cons: I was delayed half a dozen times, only to be canceled. Rescheduled on a flight that was scheduled to depart two hours before the original flight. Rescheduled after an hour hold. That flight was delayed the following day. Was diverted to Baltimore only to find out only some of us on our flight are getting out by a rude agent. Then no information at all. Had to run to catch an amtrak. Later found out if I stayed I would have stayed another 13 hours in Baltimore. Missed work and had no one home to take care of my family. Oh, and travel insurance will not cover anything. The plane itself was falling apart. Seat was broken and dirty. Everyones lights were broken and it smelled.

Pros: Good flight. The staff was nice, especially Chris. Nice to see complimentary beverages and snacks still offered on domestic flights.
Cons: Seats are terrible, and getting worse every year, but thats coach on all airlines not just Jet Blue. Hard armrests, weirdly shaped bucket seats which are appalling in any other position than straight up with 90 degree waist bend. Thats not how humans sit for extended periods of time. A 5 degree recline is not a recline; its a joke. At least the tray table was bigger than my phablet, unlike Spirit where the napkins look like tablecloths on these ‘tables’. Overall, it is better than the cheapest airlines.

Cons: I didn't choose a seat originally. When I checked in online the only seats left were the extra space seats. I had to pay $50. Also I was in the first row so I could not put my bag under the seat in front of me.

The tv/movie portion of the entertainment was not working at all.

Cons: Before we boarded I listened to a couple described how they always went ahead in line at boarding because no one ever stopped them. They described how they waited until group 3 was called and then went right through. While we were waiting, we watched them do it again. If you need to cram people into tiny spaces to be profitable, then you cannot allow them to make it worse by putting back their seats. I spent 90 minutes with a seat back jammed into my chest. We were ignored when handing out snacks, probably because we were invisible behind the seats pushed in our faces. It was one of the most miserable flights I’ve experienced.

Cons: As a handicaped disabled not able to walk and should be using a wheel chair,as I know from my many previous travels with other companies like lufthanza, klm..etc, I used to be the first traveller to go to the air craft when loading it to take off and the last one who would be leaving it after landing. Even when going through the check and security points I used to go in a special route especially for the handicaped but going with all other normal travelers lines with such amount of time waiting and crowdness is completely inconvenient. what happened through the trip was quit different , going with the travelers or after when they are boarding the craft make it very hard and time consuming , Wish you take care of it, as it's a very important handicaped service. Cons: My flight Paris/London/Manchester?Chicago was the mos impleasant experience I ever had. On July the flight was schedule for 9...pm then delayed for two hours because of a fire, other passengers said, in London. At around 11pm, we were asked to line up for boarding. We stayed on line for an hour and fnally to be told the flight was cancelled. We were treated less than animals by British Airway. No ACCOMODATION!!!!!!!! No ACCOMODATION!!!!!!! We slept on benches at the airport. To be fair to you, I will not recommend British Airway to anyone.

Cons: American Airlines has terrible customer service. We were unable to board our flight at the Philadelphia airport because when we arrived (almost 2 hours before our flight) the ticket counter was already closed for the evening. No one from American Airlines could help us. We were left stranded at the ticket counter until it reopened at 3:15 am. We are very disappointed and disgusted with the poor service we received from American Airlines. After hearing multiple horror stories from others, it is safe to say we will never fly that airline again.

Pros: Good is that they sent you to Finnair to correct AA created break in service...why would they pay for it? AA is just an operator per itinerary! Why would you care if ppl get help with connections!
Cons: Checked in online on Finnair and automatically for the second connecting flight...and not the first -AA. So, had to check-in again for the first flight at the terminal. Board passes were printed 2 out of 3 by AA and both had errors - wrong gate for the first flight and no boarding info for the second connecting flight - just blank! AA did not provide connecting info until I found an unoccupied employee at the terminal and customer service lines were about 20 people in 2 locations I went to. The connecting info should be in the itinerary they said at customer service...nope, it was not there either!

Cons: The gate agent made us starting in boarding group 6 out of 9 to check sizes of bags in the size box and she got into a verbal fight with another passenger. One guy told her she could board but the gate agent said no it didn't fit and she couldn't board. Then the agent claimed she had to gate check her bag and claimed there were no overhead spaces left. So everyone after that had to gate check. When I boarded there were at least 8 empty bins and I had not even gotten to my seat in row 22. The gate agent lied and slowed down the entire boarding process because she want to win a fight and show dominance over a passenger.

Cons: A passenger caused a delay in security, and as I'm rushing for the gate, the agent closed the door and told me I couldn't board. She then marked me as a no-show, while she was standing right next front of her. I had to spend the next 4 hrs on the phone, trying to get my tickets sorted out. Then, upon arriving at Heathrow,... No luggage. They told me it was still in Chicago. Upon finally receiving my bags, I find them full of sawdust and sand, and several items damaged. I will NEVER fly American Airlines again, and I will highly recommend to my friends and family to avoid them like them plague. Horrible service! Nothing but a run-around and not once did the agents apologise, even after admitting that my problems on this journey were due to a mistake made by one of their agents.

Pros: The flight was quite emty and instead of packing everyone in the same area, we all had a row for ourselves which was very enjoyable. Flight crew was very nice
Cons: The interview by a British Airway agent before the flight. I have been to the USA many times and I totally understand this type of interview, but the agent was aggressive, asking questions that were totally irrelevant. She did not even care about why I was going to the USA or where I was staying. Se was rude and I was really unpleased by her attitude saying it was British Airways way off doing interviews. Again I have had many interviews before flying to the USA, never been a bad exerience before

Pros: Boarding and flight were on time.

Cons: My flight was delayed 4 times from Columbus to Chicago due to an ATC issue in Chicago. On the 4th delay announcement I had to rebook my international flight for the following day because my connection was leaving Chicago while I was still in Columbus. I had to rebook and get a hotel for the night on my own expense since American Airlines won't pay if it is weather related even though the weather was not the issue, rather air traffic control. The plane we got the next day was a smaller uncomfortable plane with zero entertainment and a crew that projected they would rather be anywhere else. I don't blame them, my experiences with American Airlines had been progressively getting worse.

Cons: I choosed this very very expensive flight because it was so import to be home in CPH at 9.00 for an important meeting. My flight from Chicago was delayed and nothing was done by the pilots to arrive on time. Despite the delay, I managed to arrive on time to my Connecting flight to CPH - only to realize that I was moved to a later flight. Now I have spent 2.300 USD on a poor flight that do NOT bring me to my destination on time. I am a frequent flyer, and will do everything I can Avoiding United going forward. Never United again

Pros: The check in process at LAX was very efficient and smooth. and the crew on the plane was very considerate. And the tv system on some of the planes is very enjoyable.
Cons: There was a technical issue on the plane so they had us get off and wait hoping they could fix the problem. It turned into a 3 hour wait. They covered a meal for us which was good and gave us $50 off our next flight. But I’m not sure I want to book united again. The lady at the service desk was not very patient (which is understandable since a loy of people had to rebook their connecting flights). But I was smiling at her and just asking how to go about changing our connecting flights and she seemed a little bit ready to get rid of me. And the next plane we got on, one of our tv screens didn’t work. And the connecting flight was delayed also because of a technical problem.

Pros: I had THE WORST experience with ONE flight attendant leaving Paris CDG, flying to Chicago O’Hare. Flight #9334. On 7/26 @ 11:22am. I am hypoglycemic and the flight attendant skipped my line for food I acknowledged her three times and she ignored me so on the fourth time I raised my voice saying “excuse me ma’am” that seem to have irritated her or rubbed her the wrong way because her response was extremely unprofessional yelling at me and accused me of startling her. She compared my voice to the startle of 911 and caused a scene in front of the majority of the passengers. All I wanted was the food that was available for each passenger because she skipped My row. After talking to another flight attendant who claim to be a manager name Celeste who was wearing a visible name tag along with every other flight attendant except for her, I asked her for the name so I could write up a review she refused to give me her name saying it was against their policy to give up first names even though it’s clearly on everybody’s shirt except hers she removed it or covered it up w/ her apron even though Robert Robert was wearing an apron with his name tag outside of his apron like he should the attendant that gave me problems took off her name tag and covered it with an apron that was a violation of dress code. A simple apology is all I asked for but she refused to apologize and the managers only response was “I can’t make her apologize” Never in my life have I been treated with such disrespect on a flight as I am a frequent flyer to Paris on United everybody else and all other flights was extremely helpful and courteous. This woman started ranting and raving about 911 and getting people nervous for no reason. I will be writing a formal letter to the corporate office. I just barely got home and wanted to write this review because it ruined my experience in 9 1/2 hour flight experience. It was also very embarrassing for me and my family, as other customers were bothered by this and had to listen to this. I was trying to speak over the air conditioner and after the third time of her not acknowledging me that is one I raise my voice politely by saying “excuse me ma’am”. I am a frequent united flier. Furthermore I have scoliosis and I’m handicapped our flight got delayed by 3 furthermore I have scoliosis and I’m handicapped our flight got delayed by 2 1/2 hrs. By this time my back was throbbing and when I talked to the gentleman upfront he told me to write a letter for some type of compensation regarding everything I have been through. Here are pictures of the lady who is out of dress code the flight attendant and also out of line dealing with plus dealing with customers she’s obviously unhappy with her job and should not be in the customer service industry as I know for being a businesswoman myself owning my own salon I deal with customers all day and I know my number one job is to make sure my customers are happy I am not .

A simple apology is all I asked for but she refused to apologize and the managers only response was “I can’t make her apologize” Never in my life have I been treated with such disrespect on a flight as I am a frequent flyer to Paris on United everybody else and all other flights was extremely helpful and courteous. This woman started ranting and raving about 911 and getting people nervous for no reason. I will be writing a formal letter to the corporate office. I just barely got home and wanted to write this review because it ruined my experience in 9 1/2 hour flight experience. It was also very embarrassing for me and my family, as other customers were bothered by this and had to listen to this. I was trying to speak over the air conditioner and after the third time of her not acknowledging me that is one I raise my voice politely by saying “excuse me ma’am”. I am a frequent united flier. Furthermore I have scoliosis and I’m handicapped our flight got delayed by 3 furthermore I have scoliosis and I’m handicapped our flight got delayed by 2 1/2 hrs. By this time my back was throbbing and when I talked to the gentleman upfront he told me to write a letter for some type of compensation regarding everything I have been through. Here are pictures of the lady who is out of dress code the flight attendant and also out of line dealing with plus dealing with customers she’s obviously unhappy with her job and should not be in the customer service industry as I know for being a businesswoman myself owning my own salon I deal with customers all day and I know my number one job is to make sure my customers are happy I am not .

Pros: Rude gate staff. They were being very condescending in their tone while saying perhaps appropriate information. This occurred starting when one woman got in line. The sign kept changing...her accharine like tone telling her that boarding would begin at 1130 was unnecessary. Communicating with foreign passengers whose flight had been rebooked to this flight was very poor. Instead of asking them for the name of their baby, the gate employee kept asking them for the lap child name! This occurred over and over until finally they asked for the bany's name. The lady who is from Chicago started practically wagging her finger and just saying NO! to bags that might be too large. How she did this was overly rude even when the bag fit in the metal sizer!
Cons: Sorry....above is what I did not like. I like that my bag was shifted away, tagged and put on board...made it to Rome! Flight staff very professional!

Cons: To whom it may concern I had booked flight from Casablanca to Chicago via Frankfurt , on May 6th , by Lufthansa, two hours before the flight , at the counter in CMN , they notified me , that the flight , is over booked , and I can’t catch this flight , and they offered me different difficult options, , till the flight boarded , they offered me one of the most inconvenient flights , and reward me some amount , in this case : I missed my flight which accordingly , lose my appointment , and lose my business. I frustrated with this decision at late hours . I asked full consideration of all the difficulty situation and the turbles they put me .

Pros: The leg room and comfort in economy, for a 767, were surprisingly good but the quality of screen and entertainment was lacking. The screen on my iPhone is bigger than the screen on the seatback which if compared to other airlines is not up to the mark. The lack of facilities to charge things like ipads or iPhone was disappointing.
Cons: The seat comfort was good as was the legroom in economy. The crew were friendly and helpful and I found the overall experience good. If Unitied could build on that and just offer power (even usb) and larger screens they would be onto a winner.

Pros: The flight was smooth. Boarding was a bit nerve wracking as a neighboring bin was not closed completely until just before take off.
Cons: The bathrooms were poorly maintained. There was no toilet paper and there was tons of paper on the floor. I was anxious that a piece of TP was going to be stuck to my shoes when I returned to my seat. The flight crew did clean it up. I'm not a frequent flier, but was taken by surprise that I didn't need to check in before getting to the airport. I was amazed that the airlines take it upon themselves to assign seats. I think that's a poor decision as a mom and her 2 small kids were scattered about the plane. Fortunately, people were willing to shuffle around to allow the mom to sit with her kids.

Pros: Not much to like on United. The boarding was the best part as the staff were somewhat helpful.
Cons: One nice flight attendant out of the five I interacted with. I'm flying United less and less because the service just sucks.

Cons: There was no entertainment available on this flight. It's a short flight so I don't expect any, however, I continued on to Phoenix that day from Chicago and that is a long flight. I expected free entertainment on that flight, as it was afforded on the flight on the Phoenix to Chicago leg of my flights earlier in the week. The Chicago to Phoenix had entertainment offered but it there was a fee, which I didn't appreciate and did not take part in. I looked around me as much as possible and didn't see anyone else pay for entertainment. Having in flight movies and TV available for feee is a great incentive for flying with United. If these long flights in the future are pay for view, I will not be flying with you when there are alternative carriers who do provide free entertainment. Thank you.

Pros: Punctual flight and not filled to last seat. Excellent amber beer.option, no extra charge for beer or wine. Crew members were friendly and eager to please. They were happy to supply extra snacks and coffee or water between regular service. Seat reservations were properly done (unlike a flight in June on Etihad).
Cons: In boarding, putting groups 3, 4, and 5 in the same line works poorly. Location of electric outlets needs better (i.e. some) documentation; had to ask crew. The heat fluctuated between too warm and too cold; had to put on and take off a fleece every 10-15 minutes. Chicken option for dinner rated spicy, so had to opt for pasta. No Asian options on flight from Japan; sad. So-so movie selection, controlling screen not very easy, screen often too dark. The list of movies in the United Magazine was incomplete and inaccurate. The size limits on carry-on bags and personal items was smaller than other airlines, unnecessarily so for the latter given the size of the space under the seat in front. United is inconveniencing customers without any justification.

Pros: The staff all the way through were awesome. Facilities were clean and as expected.
Cons: Policies about ultra economy tickets sucked. I'm certain I was warned multiple times in the fine print about the hazards of buying a cheap ticket. The fact I was forced to spend money to check a bag and given undo stress about whether or not I'd get bumped because you're not allowed advanced check-in or guaranteed seats with basic economy ticket is not right. Seems the price should simply be the cost to guarantee a basic flight (two carry-on's, guaranteed seat assignment, advanced check-in) so folks can opt out and go for a cheaper ticket on another airline that offer a cheaper fare for the above mentioned guaranteed basic flight options. Felt like a bait and switch.

Cons: The idea of the entertainment system broadcast to your hand held device is fine - it didn't work for me though.

Cons: Confusion and lack of communication about the extra screening process in the airport right before boarding. No information provided ahead of time, to alert me to arrive at the boarding gate early for the extra screening. After I passed through the extra security screening at the gate in Munich, and then went to the counter to complete the extra passport check and security questions, I was asked to step aside and wait. No one told me why. I had to insist on an explanation to the airline staff, and realized there was a mistake - they thought I had not gone through the extra security screening before going to the passport check counter, but I had. This created extra stress and delay for me, as this took place when boarding had started. Respectfully, I suggest that staff is more communicative.

Cons: I don't understand the purpose of basic economy. I bought my ticket months ahead of time and paid over $300 for it. Only to find out when it was time to board that I wasn't guaranteed a seat. EVEN THOUGH I BOUGHT A TICKET AND IT WASNT CHEAP. I was put on a waitlist and finally got a ticket after boarding was supposed to be over. I was appalled by the whole thing. Doing away with basic economy or just giving those who buy those tickets the basic rights that should come with an airline ticket should be considered. How can you deny someone a seat if they bought a ticket months ahead of time? What if I wasn't lucky and couldn't get a seat? Wait until the next flight hours later and get put on a waitlist there too? Something needs to change.

Pros: The attendents were helpful and nice except in the situation I've listed in dislike. The plane left on time and arrived early and we didn't have to wait 20 minutes for a gate to open up.
Cons: I chose the back window seat right in front of the restrooms. Crewmember even said it was the worst seat in the house. Although I didn't pay to upgrade, thee were available seats up there. The attendant even said she would ttry to move things around once people were seate without anyone asking. She just knew our row was going to be uncomfortable.. I am tall with big shoulders, the gentleman next to me was large. All that I ask is the attendant come back after all is settled and explain that it wasn't possible to move things around. Although, if there were seats available I should have been offered a different seat. I have flown a lot on different airlines. I've flown on a 15 hour flight overseas. This is BY FAR the most uncomfortable I have EVER been.

Pros: Not happy. Can't afford such high fees to reschedule flight to see my 82 yo parents. I would have to fly first class to have room for my broken leg now. Doctor won't approve flight since this just happened 3/28/17. But, I can't pay so much more to fly home after surgery....near the holidays. Just makes me sad. I had insurance on 1 flight so i hope i can get 1/2 of my ticket price back. Yup, I messed up the insurance on the 2nd flight. My bad. So I'm out for 1 ticket, and a broken leg and torn ACL and I didn't see my folks. Can you do anything to help me, United? Please? Thanks. Pretty tough week.

Pros: The experience was bad all around. The flight crew was understanding and sympathetic to the situation but offered no concern.
Cons: The gate agent was not helpful when my flight was running late and was going to miss my connection in Chicago. 10 mins is not enough time to taxi to the gate unload and get to my next flight. The doors close 10 mins before even if it was the next gate the door would have been shut. Had to reschedule flight for not the same day or the next day but two days later! During flight my inflight drink was evening coffee and tasted old as if it had been sitting for a while. Was sat next to a sick ER nurse who was coughing and sneezing in and around the open cup. I was sick for 8 and half days following the flight.

Cons: Flights were significanly delayed that resulted in missing connecting flights. During my return trip I ran to make my connecting flight just barely on time and once boarded we sat on the plan for an hour before taking off. Flight to get to Richmond on united was a major problem. I work up with a notification that my flight time had been moved up 2.5 hours ( a problem as I live 2.5 hours away from the airport) I called and they said it was a mistake that I was good to take the origional flight. A few hours later I get a phone call from united asking if I could be at the airport 2.5 hours early. I said unfortunately no because I had already spoken to someone from united and they had reassumed me that the origional flight was still good. She then said if I couldn't make it early it was no problem. So I get to the airport at the origional time after speaking to two different agents who told me this was ok to find the plane delayed and causing me to miss my missed connection.

Pros: The crew was very friendly and efficient. They were extremely helpful with our requests. The entertainment was good, I was able to watch a movie the whole flight home.
Cons: We were expected to land at 5pm and did not land until 5:20pm. Upon arrival, the line to immigration was ridiculous. The machines were super slow and kept freezing. It took an hour before we could get to the X-ray line. At this point we had already missed the original time of our flight. Luckily the flight was delayed 30 minutes. After going through the x-ray machines we ran to our gate only to find out it had been changed and delayed again. We made it to our flight which was now rescheduled to depart at 7:23pm. After sitting in the plane for 45 minutes we did not depart until 8pm making our landing 2 hours after the original time.

Cons: If nothing else United has been consistent in their late departures and arrivals backed by absolute lies about the reason for delays. Staff says one thing then Pilot says something completely counter. Then the lack of any sort of heartfelt appology adds to the insult. Every flight was overbooked by at least 5 people. Total incompetence. Moreover, United has made profit so obviously more important than client comfort. The seats were similar to a straight back Dining room chair except with your knees in your chest. They even took away the seat back pouch as a smal comfort to place items to be replaced with an 8 inch high mesh that fits nothing larger than your cell phone. A 6 hour flight and 1 drink service with 1/2 glass of soda. Pay $7.99 only to find out that video does not work through Canada which was the majority of the flight

Cons: I don't think I will be choosing to fly with United going forward. The staff at the desks were rude and very short. I had a layover in Chicago and did not receive any notification that my flight was cancelled due to maintenance. I went to each desk to try and find an associate and no one was available to help the several individuals wondering how to get switched to a new flight. All of us were just given a phone number to call. Once I found someone thy told me that there was no seats available on any of the flights. They found one seat on a plane that was going to laguardia instead of my destination of Newark and then proceeded to tell me that my bags will still go to Newark and it was my job to make sure I filed to get them. (Same thing happened the last time I flew with United) I'm very disappointed all together with how I was treated as a customer.

Pros: The flight was bumpy but otherwise pleasant
Cons: There was a rude passenger that yelled at me as I was exciting the flight suggesting that I cut her off as we were getting off the plane thinking that I took her bag. It was outrageous and completely ruined the flight for me. I realize this has nothing to do with the flight but it just made me feel so crumby and attached that I felt the need to share it. Also the leg room was a joke. We barely had any room to move. I probably won't fly coach on united again due to the bad taste it left in my mouth. Unfortunate because it's hub is in chicago.

Pros: The trip TO the United States was bearable.
Cons: This flight was a complete disaster. I ended up b=on a different flight to Newark, as my flight to Chicago got canceled. Then that fight was unable to land, so I spent hours in baltimore, and missed my connecting flight to Brussels. By the time I finally arrived, 4 hours late, to Newark, I had to spend 2 hours in a line to get re-book, for a flight the next night. I was compensated for all this mess with a $10 food voucher, and had to get a cab from the airport to the closest and cheapest hotel. My flight to Brussels was uneventful, save one rude flight attendant, and I got to school a day late.

Cons: The gate attendant reopened the plane for the man in front of me because he had one book bag and refused to let me on because I had two. The room and taxi voucher were adequate. But $30 in food vouchers doesn't get you very far in an airport. Also that's just enough to survive the lay over that was caused by your maintenance issues. Your attendant then tried to put me on standby all day the following day with a guaranteed flight at 8pm. I then asked him to check other airlines and was able to get an 8am one. The sheer lack of customer service is impressive. PS if your airline screws up, the least I deserve is a seat upgrade or some free sky mile points.

Cons: We had a confirmed reservation on tickets that I bought months ago. However, when we went to get our seats, the flight had been oversold. We were involuntarily booted off the flight- even though one on standby got a seat, and another person did not show up- we could have gotten on the flight! We were heavily compensated and the staff were as generous as they could be, but it was completely frustrating and upsetting when you have to go through that, after ahead time planning to be booted off a flight like that.

Cons: Worst experience flying. I was the first passenger to board the plane, at 2:22pm, and the flight was supposed to leave at 2:30. We ended up leaving more than an hour later, which made at least 5 passengers including myselft miss our connecting flight to Chicago. They placed ous on the next available flight, which was at 7:30am the next day, but without any hotel accommodations, only a 21-dollar meal voucher. It was their fault we missed our flight and they should have accommodated us.

Cons: My flight was delayed 7 hours. I never recieved an e-mail letting me know of this even though I gave my email when I bought the tickets so that I would get updates on the flight. I checked the flight status before leaving my house at 2am and the flight was still on time. After driving 2 hours to the airport and going through security I found out that my flight was being delayed 7 hours and no representative was even at the gate to speak with. All I was given was one $14 meal voucher which didn’t even cover a full meal at the airport. It’s told that the issue was mechanical but I later found out that te first flight had been over booked and the 1pm flight didn’t have enough people on it so they made everyone on at 6am flight wait until 1pm to fly out. Once on the plane, the seats were hard and uncomfortable and the plane was cold. I am extremely disasiflied and will never use Spirit again.

Cons: I received notices of delayed departure of two hours but that same notice showed the arrived was delayed by over four hours. I called and talked to an agent and asked how my flight could have all of sudden gotten two hours longer and was told the delayed departure was correct and the arrive time was not. He said it was a mechanical issue and could change so I should still go to the airport an hour before my original departure time, which I did. When I arrived the flight was now delayed by more than four hours and I was told it was due to the crew being timed out so I had to sit there for five hours waiting to leave. I should be compensated for this error but cannot find out how to do that!

Pros: Flight departed early and landed almost 40 minutes early. Good service. Nice crew. I paid extra for the big First seat.

Cons: 1. Flippant staff - it is not "hip" to be rude 2. We felt hostage on this plane. Not even water is available for free. 3. We ended up paying A LOT more for this flight, which is supposed to be a super economy flight. My bad for not understanding how gosh darn cheap this airline is. Had to pay even for carry on and to even get a seat assignment. Thia is NOT a family friendly airline. 4. Web site is all about bait and switch. When I logged on, initial rates low, then when I signed in, all rates increased.

Cons: Spirit Airlines does not care AT ALL. I will never fly them again. No explanation of delay, which then led to a full cancellation, in which they then had us waiting in a line for 20 minutes until they (finally?) ejected us out of the security zone because they put our bags at baggage claim, so I wasn't able to buy a flight at a desk from another airlines right nearby because I had to go back through security so they messed up my timing entirely. I have also not received my refund for my baggage / seat extras and it's been a full week. Horrendous. If I could give them negative ratings I would.

Cons: Flight was late by an hour. This then caused us to have to wait over 2 hours on the plane to be able to get off. US customs was backed up with flights that should have arrived after us. This caused us to miss our connection. The connection time for us was 3 hours and we still missed that flight. They then suggested that it was not their fault and that they would get us on the next flight on the next day at night. We decided to get our money back and bought a ticket with Southwest Airlines instead. They lack in taking responsibility for their mistakes. Their employees don't care and continue on as if nothing is wrong. Our whole flight missed each and every connection. we are all here with Southwest ready to fly out in a couple of hours.

Cons: Flight was cancelled TWICE in one day. I ended up having to book on another airlines and paid quadruple the original price out of my own pocket. Spirit told me I should go to the airport (an hour away), and they would "try" to make put me on a flight with another carrier. This was a business trip and I absolutely had to be there for a certain time, so I couldn't risk waiting on Spirit to "try" and place me with no guarantees. They gave me two $50 flight vouchers, as if I'll ever fly with them again! Awful, stressful experience.

Cons: My flight was cancelled less than 2 hours before the departure. I was told this at the airline counter. I took 7 o'clock AMTRAK to go Chicago and then took Blue line (45 minutes) to get to O'Hara airport. The girl at the counter did not explain why the airplane was cancelled. She offered a flight next day at the same time. My poster presentation was at 8:30AM next day. There was no alternative flight from Chicago to Boston. I just cannot believe this. I totally missed my conference presentation. BAD!

Cons: I always had problems with Spirit but to be honest after this last experience I will never fly Spirit again. My flight going to FL to Chicago was okay until after 10 mins in the air I received an email stated my Connecting flight was cancelled. When I landed, I went straight to customer service to try and resolve my this issue, the best thing they said they could do is make sure I am accommodated within a 24 hour policy however, they wanted me to wait more then 24 hours before I got on another flight. The whole experience was horrible. Which then I had to purchase another flight on another airline. Oh by the way they canceled my flight coming back as well. Spirit is an absolute joke, yes they are cheaper then other airlines but the service and headache they give you isn't worth it. Oh by the way they did give me ONE $50 voucher for my next flight (Yet I bought 3 plane tickets). What a joke give me my money not a voucher for an Airline I can't even relie on to get to and from a destination comfortably without any problems.

Cons: flight attendant did not make the person in front of me put their seatback up for takeoff or landing, and I was the row before emergency row so it was hard to get in the seat or out! The 3-4 minute sales pitch for a credit card was over the top after being nickel and dimed for everything from boarding priority, seat selection, and bags. Spirit should not be listed with other airlines on flight services such as Kayak because of their hidden fees, and charging for carry on items. You should not have to sign up for their frequent flyer program in order to print a boarding pass.

Cons: Due to several unavoidable obstacles I was running late to the airport. When I arrived it was 8:25am for my flight at 9:10am. The kiosk wouldn't let me check in or check luggage. The line was so immense it would take hours. I asked a woman to help me and she said that the doors had already closed? That's 45 mins before departure and I definitely could have made it to my flight. Instead I had to wait in a line for 90 minutes! By 10:00am I finally booked another flight for 8:40pm. I've now been at the airport for 12 hours. I've had 3 meals here, I'm bored out of my mind and I could have been home by noon. I should have been on my 9:10am flight to chicago. This is ridiculous, I am never flying with spirit again for as long as I live. I hope that someone will rectify this situation since I bought 2 plane tickets and I shouldnt have. absolute imbeciles. I'm extremely disappointed.

Cons: Myself and fifteen year old daughter exited plane from Ft. Myers to grab a quick bite to eat and upon returning to same plane with printed boarding passes and assigned seats our boarding passes did not scan correctly. At this time there was about 30 or so people behind us to board as there was plenty of time. We were asked to step aside and a employee was trying to figure things out. In the meantime ALL people in line were allowed on plane even though several had problems but were quickly fixed! At last second we were told to board the plane and try to find two seats. Only one was left on flight and we were told they had to leave and sorry but we must exit plane! Worst I have ever been treated by an airline ever in all my years of travel! I did get some money compensation, rented a car and drove 13 hours to Chicago! Awful way to end a vacation!

Cons: Were unable to get boarding pass at check-in desk unless an extra fee was paid; instead was required to get boarding pass at kiosk. Doors to plane were closed 30 minutes prior to scheduled flight time (the flight was delayed through no fault of Spirit; not blaming them for the additional wait at the flight gate). Distance between seats is smaller than on other airlines; quite uncomfortable. Baggage fee was excessive; We checked our baggage even though it was carry-on size because it cost even more to bring a carry-on. No frills is an understatement.....even beverage service was not included in cost. Spirit is no bargain even though it looks like they are the cheapest when you book the flight. I made the mistake of forgetting how miserable Spirit flights are, lured by the "cheap" fare. Will not forget and accidentally use them again!

Cons: During a difficult weather situation, Spirit was absolutely useless and left us stranded for a week. With storms on the East Coast, Spirit cancelled flights two days in a row (as did all other airlines). However, with Spirit, the website was useless for rebooking ourselves, and there were so few representatives at the airport and to reach a rep on the phone that we waited several hours just to be able to rebook at the airport. In the end, Spirit could not get us on another flight out for 7 more days. Causing extreme additional expense to me and my travel partner. I will never risk flying Spirit again.

Cons: Spirit canceled our flight and their only solution was refund or wait 3 days until they could get us home. Had to spend thousands to rebook to get us home the next day on another again. Never again.

Pros: Boarding was easy. Flight had a few bumps but we were instructed to put on seat belts & then it was calm. Our flight attendants were friendly & efficient. I had an emotional support dog w/ me & they located a seat for me where there wasn't 3 across. SO nice of them & the lady on the aisle petted my dog on & off during the flight & thanked us for making her flight nicer. Had a smooth landing. When we got off they said good bye to my dog! What a nice crew! Flight left on time & arrived on time as well.

Cons: We were told our flight was downgraded and that 35 passengers needed to switch thier flight as there was no seats available. We had a group of 5 people and 2 did not have seats. So we volunteered to switch our flights as we were told we would leave the following day at the same time all together, get a hotel for the night, food vouchers and 2 free round trip flights. So when they were switching our flights they booked 3 out of the 5 who volunteered and they told us we could not be on the same flight. Eventually they got us all on the same flight but that was 4 or 5 hours later. In regards to the food vouchers we were informed we could only use them in the airport but we were not allowed pass tsa as we did not have boarding passes. We then asked about our luggage as we had checked them in when we first arrived and they informed us they pulled them out of the flight and they were going to be at luggage claim. When we tried to get our luggage at baggage claim we were then informed that no luggages were pulled and they were already in transit to chicago. So the supervision told us that we could buy whatever items we needed for the night and we would get reimbursed later, which keep in mind we had to take a taxi from the hotel to a target near by. This whole process was ridiculous and it seemed as if no one was able to provide us with accurate information. Had we known it was going to be such a hassel and inconvenience to ourselves we would have never given up our seats to begin with. Pedro was the name of the person at the gate who informed us we would have a flight all together and that was false in which carlos had told him. Rosario at check in was patient and helped the most but she informed us our luggage was going to be available for us and that was false. Zachary manning Katona was very unprofessional and rude to us as well as his coworkers. And edier the supervisor informed us we will get a reimbursement for the items we buy since our luggage was shipped back to chicago, so lets see if thats true or false when the time comes.

Pros: NOTHING!
Cons: There were 5 of us who were trying to print our boarding passes. We were close to the 45 minute cutoff but there was still a man there who could've helped us but he insisted that there was nothing he could do! We walked around the freaking airport and no one could help us. We called the 800 number, no help. They even wanted us to buy a WHOLE NEW TICKET, with NO discount! Never again will I fly Spirit. Found a cheaper, nicer flight with someone else AND they didn't charge for everything like Spirit does! Ugh. Worst experience flying EVER!

Pros: The crew was nice, I guess.
Cons: It started with my flight being delayed a literal 6 times throughout the day, it was the last flight of the day. I checked in the night before and saved my boarding pass as a PDF since I don't have a printer. When I arrive over an hour before my latest and most stable delayed time, I'm not allowed to print a boarding pass at the kiosk and am directed to speak to someone at the desk, but lo and behold, they've already left for the night. TSA tells me they can't let me through because of course Spirit boarding passes aren't scannable. When I speak to the Spirit rep in baggage claim as TSA suggests, she tells me she can't help me, can't print the boarding pass, and that I had to call reservations to REBOOK my flight because I was "late" for a flight that I already checked in for and was still over an hour away from leaving as far as I was updated. Two other men were in the same situation and we basically had to beg people in Southwest to let us print our boarding passes so we could get on the flight. I was successful but I don't think my comrades were because of course when they logged in to Spirit, they no longer had access to the boarding pass, despite also checking in online earlier. When I get through security and the gate, I find out the flight is leaving 40 min earlier than any flight status update reports. NO notification anywhere. I was so hesitant to fly Spirit knowing their history with others but I was going on a < 36 hour trip wanted to save $. Spirit will never receive my business again. They intentionally create systems to inconvenience people and provide poor customer service.

Pros: I got to my destinations safely.
Cons: You don't actually save money with this airline, which is something I had to learn the hard way apparently. You could hardly understand the pilot when he made announcements and the crew wasn't exactly rude, but definitely weren't kind and warm either. The man next to me pushed his button for someone to assist him and asked that they throw his trash away (not cool on the man's part, I'll admit that, because the crew was doing walk-throughs for trash every 5 minutes it seemed). But, the passenger next to me did not deserve the passive aggressive help he received. The seats are uncomfortable and don't seem worth the money/weight they must have saved. While I admire the mission to save fuel, I think the cons outweigh the pros of this airline. I'll happily return to Southwest or Virgin.

Cons: The flight was cancelled due to the plane being stuck in another city due to weather. I've had this happen before with other airlines, and they were able to rebook me on another airline's flight, with no price difference. With Spirit, they only were able to refund my money or move me to another date, four days later, which would have caused me to miss the event I was supposed to attend over the weekend. I thought since I was flying solo, without my kids in tow, using a cut-rate airline would have worked out. I've had no problems with JetBlue or SW in the past. But I would stay away from using Spirit.

Pros: NOTHING POSITIVE!
Cons: They chose to cancel the return flight within 2 hours of the scheduled departure and were not at all helpful trying to get anyone out on any other airlines (because they're next available flight to that destination was 4 days out...) Not to mention on the initial flight to my destination, they had everyone board the plane 40 minutes early and then told everyone they had to all evacuate the plane and delayed the flight for 4 hours for NO reason!!!!! I would highly recommend avoiding flying spirit airlines at all cost, what I thought was a decent deal ended costing me an extra $400 for my last minute one-way trip and adding many many hours to my time traveling......

Pros: Flight was on time. Flight was comfortable. Crew was kind.
Cons: Hidden fees were angering. It is marketed as unbundling, but this isn't advertised until its to late. i was shocked when I checked in online and was required to select a seat and tonpay an additional fee for it. Because other, less expensive seats were taken,I had to pay $50 for a seat on a flight that I already paid for. There was a fee for my bag, regardless if I check or carry on. Everyone has at least one bag! Unless I'm flying to be there for a couple of hours, I need a bag how dare you charge me for a seat and one carry on size bag. These things are standard. Food was very limited and very overpriced for the minuscule items. I had to pay $2.00 for about 10oz of coffee. In the end, Also, none of the seats on the flight recline so forget being comfortable and resting on the flight b In the end I paid more for this flight that I did when I made the same trip in Jet Blue. This "unbundling" is a marketing tactic designed to sooo customers into spending money on additional (some required) fees. I will never fly spirit again.

Cons: I missed the flight due to circumstances beyond my control and called Spirit right as the flight was taking off. They had marked me as a no show despite my having checked in and told me there were literally no options to fly later and that I would have to buy entirely new tickets. Not only that, but I couldn't even take the return flight because they were cancelling the entire itinerary! The customer service line was rude as well. I fly frequently and I have never been treated like this by an airline. It was a hugely stressful and frustrating experience, and at the end of it I was not only out the money I had paid for the Spirit ticket but also had to pay for a brand new round trip ticket at great expense. I am extremely displeased.

Pros: Some of the flight attendents were hilarious! It almost (not quite) makes up for their poor service.
Cons: They cancelled our flight on the way back, which happens a lot I understand. The earlist flight they could give us was more than a week later, and they offered no other solutions. We ended up spending twice as much as we were given back for our cancelled flight in order to get home. Not only were they not helpful in finding this flight (my husband had to run around the airport looking for a flight home) but they also could not confirm the amount that would be refunded when we called back later. They also give you a lot of hidden fees (i.e. $90 for a carryon rountrip).

Pros: When a plane arrives late the turn around time is amazing. Doesn't take them much time at all to get going again. Attendants and pilots were professional.
Cons: Boarding is a mess. You may board by zones but it really doesn't seem to workout. About half the people respect the order about half do not. People cut in line when they haven't even been there waiting. Do something like Southwest and have us board by groupings. They are much smaller units and people get in their correct order. You guys can get portable ones. That would move you all up significantly in the boarding process. That is by far the worst of all categories. The ladies at the gate really can't police that, make it easy for those who are boarding by having a clear and organized process.

Cons: The extreme restrictions on luggage are very hard to deal with, and during the flight there are constant announcements for drinks and snacks for sale. Considering the base rate for a flight is only a little less than other airlines, and if you decide to pay for a reasonably-sized suitcase it's actually more expensive than other airlines, it doesn't make a lot of sense to fly with Spirit. It also feels like they're doing you a favor for even letting you on the plane, rather than grateful for your business. The entire Spirit experience drives me up a wall.

Pros: Only their initial "SUCKER PRICE" that does NOT include any luggage or the ability to sit with your family without paying extra!!!
Cons: They use an initial "SUCKER PRICE" which does NOT include ANY LUGGAGE or the ability to SIT WITH YOUR FAMILY without paying extra!! $50 extra for each piece of luggage ... EACH WAY1 If you don't pay at the check in counter they charge $100 for each piece of luggage - each way and that includes ANY BACKPACK WITH WHEELS! $25 FOR EACH FAMILY MEMBER TO SIT TOGETHER!!!! NO COMPLIMENTARY FOOD OR DRINK. 2 sodas are $5! (can't buy just one) NO none zero entertainment, not even a radio channel.

Pros: They canceled the flight with no notification or any further explanation both ways, weather was good ! The next available flight was 24 hours later and with extra stop and wait time 6 hours. They also charge extra for your luggage, you are allow to take only small handbag everything ales is extra charge. They canceled flights both ways, a trip from hell thanks to Spirit airlines. They have worst costumer service ever and will not do anything to accommodate their costumers, all they can say is "sorry but there is nothing we can do." We ask for a supervisor after they change our flight on the way back as well from 12:05 am to 8:25 am and than again to 1:45 pm, supervisor said that "she is is truly sorry, but unfortunately there is nothing she can do" !!!??? I suggest that they send notification to their costumers in reasonable time before the flight departure about any travel changes, not once you are already at the airport.

Pros: The flight was very cost effective.
Cons: There was a presentation made to all passengers midflight trying to get everyone to sign up for a credit card in return for a "free" flight on the airline, presented as a gift. As a captive audience member, I found this very unprofessional, especially since the airline first proclaimed that all passengers could have a free flight then appended their statement with "as long as you sign up for a Spirit credit line." I also don't like the $10 charge for a printed boarding pass at the airport from Spirit; I understand the concept of modularizing costs, but there is no way the act of printing a pass for a passenger costs the airline remotely close to $10. It is a clear attempt to capitalize on a customer's forgetfullness.

Cons: Flight was cancelled under for 4 prior to takeoff. Spirit showed a direct flight same day online at 9PM from LAX to Chicago but when I called to confirm they said it was not available to me and put me on a 6 hour layover flight to MN. I asked for a hotel since I was spending the night in MN which I had not planned for and they denied that. I asked to use my $50 voucher they fought to provide me for a cancellation inconvenience for an in flight water and they said they only accept credit cards. I'm stuck in MN for the night with nothing to eat drink or anywhere to sleep cause of the late cancellation notice which they claimed was a mechanical error. I'm pissed I want my money refunded.

Cons: On my departing flight I was delayed right off the bat for 2 hours. Then after that we sat on the tarmac for 2 hours and then deboarded and delayed another 3 hours. The staff was very unhelpful and I paid $28 for a seat upgrade which was not even fulfilled because I requested an aisle seat and got a window seat. The staff was also very rude and told me this why hispanic people have a sterotype. On my arriving flight I was double charged for my carrying on and backpack. I was told that I would need to pay for both but when I went into the gate that was not the case and I saw that my backpack met specifications to not be charged. When I paid the fee the attendant took money out from her brasserie to give me change and then pocketed the cash and when I asked for a reciet she said the computer system was down and on my boarding ticket it did not have that I paid for a carry on so I was given a hard time at the gate. When I explained what happened they said okay as if this shady stuff is acceptable. I was then delayed in the air for 2 hours and rerouted to detroit to get gas. We were told to hold tight and not allowed to use the restroom for an hour to then be told we had to deboard for an addtional 2 hours. This is horrible and I will continue to speak with someone until I get a refund.

Cons: The crew on my first flight were very accommodating and friendly, but on my second flight they were NOT so friendly and everyone around me was talking about how rude and unfriendly they were. This was my first time flying on Spirit and I asked for a pillow and the response I received from the Flight Attendant was "What!....we don't have pillows" Another reason I was unhappy was because on my connecting flight from Texas to Chicago we were delayed on the plane and NOBODY told us what the problem was and why we were not moving to the runway. After 42 minutes we were told "we are waiting for paperwork from Maintenance" that is it! Not how long they expect the wait to be or come around and offer us some drinks or snacks. The Flight Attendants DID NOT even walk the aisle....not even once! We finally took off after 75 minute delay. It was if we were on the plane alone...this is not how I would have handled the situation. I also obtained the Spirit credit card to rack up some miles, but not I am giving it a second thought!

Cons: Arrived before flight time, but the door has been closed long ago. I suppose to fly on Wednesday but the next available flight is Friday. I had to work around. I tried to make a stand by and take others position but was told have to get tickets first. When I scan my passport, was told have to enter confirmation code, which was not included in email. After struggling for long, I got the code but when entering on machine, was told I could not get tickets because it was too early. After I get back to the queue, the poorest service came. A group of children were taking the whole queue taking a lot of time. The agent did not even reply to me. Everything in this company sucks!

Pros: When I finally got off the plane
Cons: They are at about a 50% rate for sucking. Flying out of ft Myers Florida, got a notification via email around 11:45am confirming flight was on time (2:27 pm departure). Arrived to the airport around 1230 because I wanted to have a meal before getting on the plane. Checked in, etc. got a notification while I was eating saying the flight would be delayed 2 hours, which then changed to 3, which then changed to canceled by the time we were supposed to depart. I get it, stuff happens, they moved me around to a connecting flight which would go to Minneapolis, then Chicago (home). The attendant doing the changes was very rude when asked about what was going on. Which I can also understand it can get a little frustrating dealing with a plane full of pissed off people but hey, nobody forced her into that job. Flight to Minneapolis was fine. Flight to Chicago was fine, until we landed, where we proceeded to sit on the plane for an 1hr 15 minutes due to "company issues" which I guess meant that the plane sitting at the gate forgot where it was going? Not sure but hey we got complimentary water! Woo! Last time flying with them. Wasn't my first poor experience either
