I had to check my carry on from DEN to DSM because flight was full which I was told I could pickup at gate.. at the gate the TSA agent was very rude to me as I was confused as where my bag was, which I had to to baggage claim.

They lied to us and waited to tell us that our r flight is getting cancelled until it was too late for passengers to make other arrangements. Liars! They told us that our plane has not arrived, meantime there were at least a dozen jets like ours just sitting in empty on Tarmac. After they rebooked me, I walk past the gate and guess what? A jet is sitting at our gate getting ready for the flight?! Explain this?! LIARS!! Customer service rep spoke such bad English that everyone had to ask him twice or thrice. They did not help any passengers with food, hotels, or rebooking their floor guys with different airlines. Did not apologize for anything. Because it was "weathers" fault. I have had delays and cancellations before, but this one was an extremely bitter one.

My flight was canceled without warning. I was then charged 35bucks for a window seat that had no window and flight that was 4 hours from my destination. I deserve a refund for my outbound flight or at least the $500 I had to spend on a rental car. United offered another flight 30 something hours later. I will never book with United again aand doubt that I'll use Kayak again after this terrible experience given that no one offered help in rebooking sooner flights.

I'm not sure where the problem was - whether with AA or Royal Jordanian, but my luggage did not make it to Amman with me. In fact, there was a whole group of passengers traveling on American from different US cities, switching to RJ in Chicago, whose luggage did not come on the flight to Amman. My advice: be sure to pack enough for a couple of days in your carryon - and don't accept an offer to check your carryon to its final destination!

The crew was lovely. Really nice, and did a wonderful job with the cart service.

We ended up being deleyed about 30 minutes, in damp weather. It's not like it was snowing. Not sure why it took so long. B/c of baggage charges now everyone brings a carry on. This seems to slow the process of boarding as know passengers are asked multiple times to check baggage (for free, which is the one nice thing) before boarding b/c the overheads will be too full. Group 6 which I was in seemed like it was just the rest of the plane. Super busy, took me forever to get to my seat all the way in the back. Why don't airlines reverse board? People sitting in the back should board first. I feel like this would save so much time.

My flight out of Portland was canceled and it took hours to rebook. I had to fly American Airline to Washington DCA where I roamed the airport at 9pm looking for someone from United. The crew in Portland ME told me the gate person would have a hotel for me.... The baggage crew had to help me.

I liked the check-in kiosk, but only because I had no bags to check. I liked being able to choose my own seat. I liked that the flight was uneventful. I liked the staff at all stages, they were friendly and helpful.

They made me shove my purse into my knapsack to fit within their two bag policy. That's a first for me. My Delta flight did not do that.

AA is now trying to save money (presumably) by doing like Delta: forcing half of us to connect in Charlotte. Unfortunately, the Charlotte airport is not ready to accommodate so many people. The airport looks like it is being renovated, which is fine, but there is no tape/cones to mark off the renovated areas from the walkways. You literally walk through dirt and construction sites. I didn't even think that was legal in the US?! Anyway, maybe it will be worth it once the renovations are complete, especially if AA is going to use it as a hub.

I got there safely.

I will never fly American Airlines again. From the moment I checked in with the ticket agent to getting off the plane it was a disaster. The ticket agent was rude, hostile, and dismissive. Employees walked through the line at security forcing everyone to consolidate their belongings to one bag. I had a large wallet in my hand and was told I had to step out of line to put it in my backpack. They only allow you one bag to carry on without paying extra. At the time of boarding they announced that the overhead storage was full so even those that paid extra were still forced to check their bags. The plane was dirty, the service was slow, overall just gross. They don’t have WiFi or in flight entertainment so I paid the $20 to purchase the WiFi. It was worthless. I couldn’t stream anything, even music kept stopping to buffer. I understand it will be slower then on ground WiFi, but it was impossible to watch anything and a complete waste of money.

Despite wearing a down coat, scarf, and hat, and holding my bag in my lap, I was freezing cold the entire flight. This was after the flight attendant let me move towards the back of the plane so I could be warmer than sitting up towards the doors. A December 6am flight with no heat? Ridiculous!

It was short

Completely full plane. Ridiculously tight seat pitch. Overhead bins full. 45-minute delay for a dead-heading flight crew. Long wait for checked baggage. No beverage service because of turbulence. Flight crew out of position is a management problem, don't make it an inconvenience for a 737 full of paying passengers!

I am used to flying Frontier because of cost but recently traveled Delta and boy did I feel completely spoiled! Not only did my other half get our bags for free due to his status with Delta but the amenities they offer and the comfort of the economy seats compared to other airlines is a major difference. As a chronic pain patient, if I can find a Delta flight for a little more, I will be booking with them for sure! Highly recommend them!

My flight out of Portland was canceled and it took hours to rebook. I had to fly American Airline to Washington DCA where I roamed the airport at 9pm looking for someone from United. The crew in Portland ME told me the gate person would have a hotel for me.... The baggage crew had to help me.

The crew was lovely. Really nice, and did a wonderful job with the cart service.

We ended up being deleyed about 30 minutes, in damp weather. It's not like it was snowing. Not sure why it took so long. B/c of baggage charges now everyone brings a carry on. This seems to slow the process of boarding as know passengers are asked multiple times to check baggage (for free, which is the one nice thing) before boarding b/c the overheads will be too full. Group 6 which I was in seemed like it was just the rest of the plane. Super busy, took me forever to get to my seat all the way in the back. Why don't airlines reverse board? People sitting in the back should board first. I feel like this would save so much time.

I'm not sure where the problem was - whether with AA or Royal Jordanian, but my luggage did not make it to Amman with me. In fact, there was a whole group of passengers traveling on American from different US cities, switching to RJ in Chicago, whose luggage did not come on the flight to Amman. My advice: be sure to pack enough for a couple of days in your carryon - and don't accept an offer to check your carryon to its final destination!

Completely full plane. Ridiculously tight seat pitch. Overhead bins full. 45-minute delay for a dead-heading flight crew. Long wait for checked baggage. No beverage service because of turbulence. Flight crew out of position is a management problem, don't make it an inconvenience for a 737 full of paying passengers!

I had to check my carry on from DEN to DSM because flight was full which I was told I could pickup at gate.. at the gate the TSA agent was very rude to me as I was confused as where my bag was, which I had to to baggage claim.

For a little over $2000 you get an economy seat non-stop from DC to Tokyo and back. Meals were good. As economy seats go, it's comfortable. Midweek the flight is about half to two thirds full. So you might be able to stretch out even!

Snacks were good for a short flight

Flight was delayed and overbooked. It wasnt the first time the flight was delayed. Flight going was also delayed. Attendants seemed to be in a bit of bad mood but were overall ok i guess. It was a short flight so it didnt matter.

I liked the check-in kiosk, but only because I had no bags to check. I liked being able to choose my own seat. I liked that the flight was uneventful. I liked the staff at all stages, they were friendly and helpful.

They made me shove my purse into my knapsack to fit within their two bag policy. That's a first for me. My Delta flight did not do that.
