Delta was of very little help in assisting us in making a connecting flight. They could have at least helped with travel arrangements and provided us with a little food, a pillow and a blanket as we waited in their terminal for the next flight on their airline which was a several hour wait. I understand these things happen but the passengers didn't cause the problem and Delta needs to take care of people better if they expect to earn repeat business."

They have asked to file claim which will also take 8-10 weeks to process. All these experiences has made me and my friends not to prefer United Airlines for Travel."

Cons: "This was the 12:30am red-eye from Las Vegas to St. Louis. Flight was delayed until 2:20am. Fine, flights get delayed all the time. It is worse when everything in the airport to kill time is shut down, but I digress. Then the plane comes in around 2am, everyone on the flight gets off, then the announcement comes that they don't have a crew for our flight now, and we will have to wait until 9am for the next flight. Whoopsies! This is no longer a delay -- this is a major F-up by Frontier that affected dozens of already very weary customers (the staff admitted to it being a flub). Once boarded, people complained, as you'd expect, and one stewardess responded "Well, you can pay $400 with somebody else, or pay under $100 here." THAT was your response?? She was stating a fact, I realize this, but that was the wrong answer at the wrong time, lady. I know you get what you pay for, but my expectations don't go completely out the window. And don't be proud to be a F-up airline that merely exists on its price point. It's one thing to be one, it's another thing to wave a flag about it. And the cherry on top is what Frontier did to make it right. Another steward on the plane explained how rare this phenomenon is that we just experienced. Well if it really is rare, and inconveniences their customers to this degree, you would expect them to take strong measures to make it right, no? Any restaurant would, a car rental would, etc, if it was such a rare mistake. What did Frontier do? $7 breakfast voucher. Just punch us in the face next time. There are people that have powered through your barely-existent customer service, and those "gotcha" fees that first-time customers run into (at least Frontier hopes they do), and still liked your airline. Then you go and do something to drive even us loyals away. All you had to do was do what airlines run by thoughtful human beings do and issue flight vouchers during this rare mistake, and it would have been a microscopic write-off. Instead -- face punch, and "justification" behind it of all things. Unreal Frontier, even for you."

Cons: "Lightening storm on the flight to St. Louis caused an hour delay awaiting our luggage. I brought my own food, knowing you have to pay extra for that."
Pros: "The crew was fantastic! The seats were comfortable for how minimalistic they were. The flight was delayed due to all earlier flights being delayed from weather, but the crew made up for that disappointment."
Cons: "If I didn't bring a jacket to put behind my neck, my head and neck would have been very uncomfortable. We sat in the plane for almost an hour before it departed (partially due to weather and partially due waiting for water to arrive to be pumped on)."

Cons: "Had to sit on the tarmac about 30 minutes on arrival in Indianapolis because another aircraft was at our gate. Why couldn't we have gone to a different gate? Arrival was at about 9pm and the airport wan't that busy. This was uncomfortable. Would have been a good time to hand out free snacks and beverages or drink coupons for a future flight."

Also, I observed the luggage handlers abusively handling the luggage which isn't surprising as some of my personal belongings in my luggage were damaged. Also, what ever happened to getting a complimentary snack and beverage? I'll try to look for another airline next time.....for sure!!!!"

Cons: "The flight was delayed and the airline charges for everything. They tried to charge me for my CARRYON bag which is hilarious, and I proceeded to say I would not pay that charge. The attendant let me board the plane anyway and I put my carryon in the overhead without an issue, which deeply concerns me. It seems as if Frontier arbitrarily tacks on that charge, tricking their customers like con artists who will fall for this absurdity. The air conditioning did not work well and they almost forgot to give us water. Maybe they even charged for the water. The attendants were rude. Dont fly Frontier unless you really really really need to save a dime or two."

Cons: "TSA would not accept the boarding pass from my phone after standing in line for 30+ minutes.. I had to go back to the airline desk and get a paper boarding pass and go through security again. I had to run to the gate and was the last passenger to board. Frontier's mobile app sucks. It is touted to make my traveling easier but when you bring it up, all it will let you do is make a reservation. If it would have worked, it may have saved me 45 minutes of TSA frustration."

Cons: "I seats seem to be smaller in size so the comfort was not as good. You have to pay for everything on the plane. This was my 1st time taking frontier so I was sure we would get complimentary snacks but that was not the case. There was no WIFI and no option to purchase it either. Overall, the Frontier was Okay."

We were an hour late leaving because we were waiting for an attendant to get done from another flight. If they hadn't boarded us and we had to sit on the plane for an hour it would have been a lot better

My flight got delayed, then to make it better I had to stay in Las Vegas for 12 HOURS

Cons: "I would have liked to see a little more social distancing precautions taken. There were none. That’s just my personal feelings."
Pros: "I like the option to have a big seat up front without the cost of first class tickets."
Cons: "Our luggage didn’t even make it on the plane! My husband was there on a business trip and now doesn’t have any of his tools for work for the week. Spirit told him his luggage didn’t even get loaded on the flight."
Pros: "The crew was super rude and not helpful to any of the guests. There was nothing to like."
Cons: "The plane had not been cleaned and there was gum on the tray table and food in all the seats. The crew had people clean their own seats instead of helping them."

I guess it is nice to have an airline where you decide what perks you want to pay for, but any first-timer booking on Spirit should check out all of the extra costs before reserving their flight. It isn't the great deal it appears to be unless you are a Florida commuter."

Then she said it the second time, very rudely "TURN IT OFF!!!" This is very unprofessional, this is not acceptable. I had my music off and was listening to her in the first place! Her facial expression and tone of voice was very degrading and racist."

Cons: "We arrived at the airport at 5am and waited in line until 11:30, well after our SECOND flight would have landed to even speak to someone who could confirm that our first flight was in fact reschedules for 12pm. We then were assured that we would make it on the next flights. The next flight assured us we'd make it to the connecting flight, but they boarded so poorly that we arrived super late and missed the next flght. The flight was still there, but they wouldn't let us on and wouldn't tell us why. Around 7pm we finally got to speak to people who explained our options for accommodations and rescheduled us for the next day."

Only being able to check one bag is the silliest and most inconvenient rule since I was gone for 10 days and needed to bags for all my things. The charge for an extra bag was practically what it cost to buy a plane ticket. The seats on the plane were the most uncomfortable plane seats I've ever been on especially for a 4 hour flight. Finally, there was no in flight entertainment for a 4 hour flight offered. There wasn't even an option for in-flight wifi for purchase. It was the worst flight I have ever had. It's 2017 and Spirit's lack of amenities that every other airline offers is a sorry excuse for providing slightly cheaper airfare than most airlines. I never desire to fly with Spirit again."

Cons: "When I purchased my flight on Kayak I did not notice it was with Spirit. The luggage fee was exorbitant, nearly $90. My outgoing flight was delayed 6 times and the service was not good. I will never fly Spirit again. In addition, Kayak did not send an alert that it would be cheaper to pay the luggage fees when I purchased my ticket. If I was aware, I could have saved money on the luggage fee."

Cons: "I tried to log-in to check in and print my boarding pass. Couldn't do it online so I went to the airport extra early. When I arrived, I explained to the attendant by kiosk and he said not to worry and get in line. When I got in line, and waited, I was told the flight was full and I would have to catch another flight. I am frustrated with this airline and everytime I fly with Spirit, I say NEVER AGAIN. Well, this time I mean it....NEVER AGAIN! When you consider the cost of paying for any luggage you take, and in my case, the cost of a room for another night, it was certainly not worth the savings I expected to get."

I know uncomfortable. No recline and no padding: I'm too old for that. My back is worth the extra couple hundred I have to pay on Delta. One other problem: I did try to upgrade to one of the front seats, which were open when I checked in the day before my flight, but the system kept declining my credit card. I tried the card out on Amazon and it worked fine, and it worked fine at dinner when I got home, so my card wasn't the problem. I don't know what the problem was with the website, but it was annoying."
