Boarding was a bit more chaotic than usual and the gate agent made no announcement about boarding procedure, which certainly contributed to the scrum resulting. I arrived from the Skyclub several minutes prior to boarding time and was unable to find a path through to the Priority Boarding Lane. As boarding began she had to redirect at least seventy-five percent of those in front of me as they were not in First Class. Had she made one or more clear announcements about boarding procedure I rather doubt such a misunderstanding would have occurred with so many."

This flight I was unable to utilize the laveratory even once due to this excessive and continuous useage. Trying to do my bit to reduce our carbon footprint, yet I am sorely tempted to return to charter service when disrespect of the airlines own basic service class rules gets piled on top of TSA hassles."

Cons: "To be clear, I do not have an issue with overweight people. That being said, I was put in an extremely uncomforatable position on this flight. My seatmate was a woman who easily weighed 400 pounds without the slightest exageration and was 5'7 at best. She carried all of her weight in her midsection and behind, which was truly uncomforatable for us both. As she attempted to squeeze into the aisle seat it became apparent that with the armrest down it was not going to happen. She raised the armrest and finally maneuvered into her seat and part of mine also. Not only was her bottom in my seat but her stomach was resting on my entire right leg. It felt like a toddler was sitting on my lap. This was beyond uncomfortable and embarrassing for us both as it was clear that she knew how intrusive this was and kept apologizing. My leg went to sleep after about 15 minutes so I asked to be let out. I approached the flight attendent and requested that my seat be changed to which she responded that the flight was full. I know it wasn't because I could see an empty seat about four rows in front of me. Finally I sat back down but every 15 minutes or so she would get uncomforatable and get up to stretch. The first time it was a welcomed break, until she came back and flopped in her seat with so much force that it felt like someone had ran and jumped in my lap. This occurred 4 or 5 times during the flight. I am not sure what the policy is for obese passengers, but it should be relooked. As a passenger I should not be put in a position to address another passengers weight. I also should not have to pay for a seat and only get to use 2/3 of it. Lastly, no one should ever be allowed to put their body parts on top of another persons lap and that be considered ok."

I called Delta (wait time 3+ hours... my flight was in 3), and then the Delta app support where I was able to get through to someone. She told me that the ticket I purchased over a month in advance did not guarantee me a seat on the plane (???). She said that if I was bumped from the flight they would reschedule me for the next morning. She was pretty rude and made it seem like I had a 50/50 shot of getting on this plane. I rushed to the airport in hopes that I would be the first from Standby there, and the gate agent told me that I was fine and would board right after first class and be assigned a seat then. Great. Once I got my seat assignment, I board to find out there is someone else sitting in my seat...... They eventually called the desk and had her moved, but it was the weirdest boarding experience I've had.. and I've flown Spirit. These planes that Delta fly's are SO OLD. Both times I have flown Delta the "turbulence" has been so bad and cold air was blowing right on my the whole flight with no option to turn it off (it wasn't from one of the vents, but from the side). Someone close to me works for Delta and I know for a fact that some of their engines blow mid-flight.. and they tell the passengers that it's turbulence.. so that doesn't make me feel very safe. I won't fly Delta again if there is another comparable option."

I went to update the list baggage report and the lady took one glance in the system and found the additional bag that we were told never made it on the flight in the baggage claim office after all although another baggage claim representative said it was missing 2 hours prior."

The first time I was told someone would contact me and no one did. The second time there was no reply. I asked that some call be on my cell and I have received nothing."

Pros: "Both ways the trip was good. Fast service on Bajío Airport and back to Tijuana. Wait time was as expected on normal basis but fast service on checking in and out."

Cons: "Between almost making us miss the flight because they couldn’t identify or scan the boarding passes THEY printed out (which were just little stickers on the back of our passports with no information), the flight was over 45 mins late! Additionally, the pilot said it was flight 911 to Los Angeles and then laughed and corrected himself to flight 900 - are you serious? Not a joke."

Cons: "absolutly awful Mexico City checkin experience. No English help in any way. No English speakers or signs. Couldn’t check bags but no idea why. They didn’t like our boarding passes. Sent us to many different lines who had no idea what to do with us. Check in agents completely unhelpful and disinterested. Also ignorant. They had to keep calling supervisors over to help. (They need training and there should be someone there to help non Spanish speakers) Never told us the gate. We had to keep finding passengers to tell us where to go. Gate kept changing. Written gate on overhead screens different than where we were supposed to go and then changed twice. Flight late but all the info at the gate said in time."

Cons: "checking in process, Over one hour in line which. 2 people 1 regular bag $55 dollars. Pay for everything on the plane except water. Poor ventilation. Couldn;t even lay tray down without it sticking in my gut, I could go on. I fly quite a bit and this was probably the worst experience"

Cons: "Flight was changed to 3 days later than we were supposed to leave. Not able to reach customer service. Kiosks in Mexico City have no idea what is happening, I had to raise my voice for someone flying to help translate. Horrible old planes with tiniest seating. Never again."

Cons: "The main problem was that when I checked in online, I tried to add on more piece of luggage—for a total of 2 checked in. But the computer ended up totaling it as 3 pieces of luggage. There seemed to be no way to change this online. So I asked them to change it when I got to the airport, but they wouldn’t. What was done couldn’t be changed. Another issue I have is with this review questionnaire. They are questions for rating the food and entertainment which the airlines don’t provide anymore. These should be removed from the survey. They should, however, ask how was the process of making the reservation, check-in, and customer service in general. Both from the airline, and any third party service like kayak or kiwi. I’m not satisfied with kiwi as they were closed when I tried to call them. So I had to just fend for myself and spend money needlessly."
