You don't get assigned a seat until YouTube up at the airport... That's fine, not really a big deal. But because you didn't select a seat, they don't let you print or view your boarding pass on your phone, forcing you to go to the checking desk. For someone that has TSA pre check and travels alot, all that extra time adds up and can sometimes cause you to miss your flight. Because there is on "fast line" when you check-in like there is at the security check point. I only have this problem with Delta, never American airlines..."

But, when we landed, as passengers were trying to get off of the plane, the attendants were putting all of the collected luggage at the entry to the jetway. It created congestion. Then, anyone who had luggage, had to lineup against the side of the jetway, awaiting their luggage, and increasing the congestion. First, it was inconvenient. Worse, if there was any kind of emergency, I believe it would have created a unsafe environment. Very Poor Design & Process ! ! !"

Cons: "Airlines in general need to enforce the carry on luggage rules. If it doesn't match the dimensions for the carry on specks then make the people Check it. Don't let it go. If I paid for a seat and I'm allowed two carry ons then there should be room for them. Don't ask people to check bags because of a full plane. The crew should have there own place to store their belongings, not where the passengers do and take their space. The life rafts need to be easy to get to but again should take up a spot a passenger has paid for their luggage to go. If that is the only space for these items then don't allow passengers to bring two items if in those seats or on the whole plane. It's really disappointing when your told you may have to check your bag because there's not enough room."

The staff was very helpful! But the delays were terrible! I couldn’t make it to my destination until almost 16 hrs later and I have work.

The gate crew at Asheville was very friendly and on top of letting passengers know why things were being delayed. The air crew was friendly. The delay experienced through American Airlines (American Eagle) was inconvenient and made for a long day without any sleep. The flight was smooth. However, the seats were obviously in need of new cushions. They were hard and uncomfortable. The aircraft was clean, though.
We had a very attentive and bubbly flight attendant in our cabin. She made the flight more enjoyable. There were some issues fueling up so we ended up sitting in to plane too long, but that's no fault of American. These things happen.

Other airlines (like JetBlue) block out adjacent sears and give snacks in individual bags but this... I flew several times since the pandemic began and this was by far the worst. What a joke of an airline. Never flying them again"

Cons: "We were 1.5 hours late leaving for an unknown reason (not weather). Then, it appeared that we didn't try and make up the lost time in the air (we also landed 1.5 hours late.) This caused a significant proportion of the passengers to miss their connecting flights. American didn't do anything to help other than offer a "discount" of about $10 off of over $100/night hotel rooms in the Philadelphia area to sleep overnight in Philadelphia. This was absolutely lousy customer service by American, and will definitely make me avoid American Airlines in the future."

Pros: "After the initial delay, the female desk agent got us on another connecting flight without a problem. Second flights attendant was also great."
Cons: "They boarded the plane, only to tell us they had to de-ice, which is understandable. However, after waiting 20 min for the de-icing that never came, they made us get back off the plane because of mechanical issues. The captain/pilot was rude to the woman working the desk over the radio, to the point where she had to leave the desk and go speak to him in person (she knew we could hear everything.) That conversation is also how the whole line of people was informed that then knew about this mechanical issue since the night before, and chose not to fix it before boarding all of us. After getting to Philadelphia later than expected, we were forced to pay for hotel food that was horrible and overpriced. Only to then have our plane be delayed AGAIN because of mechanical issues, again the pilot not giving much information to the attendant she was faced by a room of 40 angry people and had no answers. The departure time slowly crawled out longer, and the only reason I knew was because of having the American app. Information/communication on all ends was poor. I usually fly Allegiant, which is notoriously “cheap,” and I’ve never had an experience like this. Happy my boyfriend has flown with American before and knew to give us an extra day so we didn’t miss the wedding we paid $800 in airline tickets to attend. Just disappointed."
Pros: "I took two connecting flights on American Airlines between Los Angeles and Lisbon period on the website American claims to have charging and or electrical ports in every row. There were none on either flight. To make matters worse, when my tablet and phone batteries both died before the end of the first flight, there was no inflight entertainment, other than 1 ridiculous thing available, on either flight. American has switched to BYOD for entertainment, but forgot to provide a way to charge our own devices. Incredibly stupid."

Cons: "Got to Philly - no one there - rushed 2 concourses and plane still there with daughter on-board. They gave away our seats, told us we would not get on, would not get our baggage and would not get put up in a hotel. Because of the NBA draft - had to travel 60 miles to New Jersey for a hotel. Lost a day, lost 2 tours, endured additional hotel costs...and the attendant made it clear she was on overtime and we just needed to move on. American Airlines is too big and consolidation of airlines has not been good for the public."

I would have missed my next flight if they didn't wait for us. Also I couldn't check in online beforehand, which was frustrating. Also I waited in line at the British Airways desk to check in and it was a long line. When I finally got to the front I was told I had to check in at the American Airlines desk and I wish I had been told that earlier. One staff member was rude when I asked him to repeat the food options."

Cons: "Entertainment was nonexistant. Most movies were unavailable and those that were would start and then say “no longer available” monitor did not work. I was not the only passenger with issues. Many could not get system to work. Antiquated and/or poorly maintained. Also, announcement made it seem as if you had to pay for wine/beer/spirits. I wasn’t drinking so it didnt matter but at other times this would have been a hassle. Never had this on an international flight. Flight was okay just not top drawer like it used to be. Cost cutting measures have impacted the brand. Would not say it is first tier. Dont mind a “no frills” flight if it results in lower cost to consumer (aka Southwest Airlines)"

Cons: "Our 2nd flight was changed by the airline, causing us to have a 6 hour layover in Philadelphia instead of a 2 hour layover. Then when we ask about changing to a different flight they told us that the original flight we were supposed to be on (that we booked over 8 months ago) was completely full so that’s why we were moved, and there were no other flights available to switch to. So we accepted that. But when we printed our boarding passes, we saw that our seats were now separate from each other, and they were both middle seats! I don’t understand how booking my tickets so far in advance still resulted in these issues. We were finally able to get an aisle and window seat (not near each other) but both flights had poor to little entertainment, which I wouldn’t have expected on such long flights with American Airlines. Really was letdown. :("
Cons: "The staff member at the gate counter in Philly was very short and rude. She asked for people volunteer to check their carry-on bags and when I took mine up she was very curt. She asked me for my seat number (I didn't hear her) and her tone got worse. A woman who did not speak English need assistance and was turned away by this person with s shrug. The Latina finally stood in the middle of the gate area asking for help from anyone who could speak English. I just spent 18 days I Madrid and never once was rejected when I asked for assistance. I was not happy with your employee and I was ashamed to hear an American treat someone that way. In the employee's defense, she was alone at the dest up until boarding time and was juggling a lot of balls without any other support. Not a good experience."
Cons: "We had five pieces of luggage lost during our flight from the U.S. to Spain. When we arrived in Madrid we were told that all five pieces had been located. When we went to pick them up the next day there were only four pieces at the airport. We were told the fifth suitcase would be delivered when it was located. It's ten days later and there's no sign of the luggage. It has taken multiple phone calls to get the information about the luggage correct. They assure me that they have everything correctly documented and then when I call back they haven't changed a thing. It has been a very frustrating process overall."

Cons: "The flight was late due to maintenance and caused us to miss our connecting flight to Chicago. American Airlines customer assistance at the airport was absolutely terrible. They were rude and inconsiderate as they kept suggesting to fly standby. We shouldn't have to fly standby when it wasn't our fault why were late. They told us our bags would be ok going to Chicago and they we would make the flight, but we did not. I do not know why didn't wait for us considering there were 8 others that also missed the connecting flight. We had to fly to Denver and stay overnight with no luggage and catch a 7:00am flight to Chicago. The last surprise I received was my damaged bag when I got back to Chicago. Thank you for making this trip memorable in a terrible way. I will never book or recommend Kayak or use American Airlines again."

Cons: "American Airlines DISCRIMINATES especially against the elderly! The airlines took my family of 6 off the flight that I booked 6 months in advance, and I had no flight out of Munich, Germany. I do not know why. I called and had them put us back on the flight. I paid extra for seats so that we could all sit together. The seats were given to others and my family could not sit together. The American Airlines employees were not helpful at all! The agent, Rowna, lied to us that we would be sitting together. They will not reimburse me for paying extra for seats that I did not get. The porter that pushed my mother in the wheelchair was more helpful than any employee."

Pros: "Because this flight was NOT full, my wife and I had the entire center section to stretch out. This made our 7.5 hour flight amazingly comfortable. The Airbus A300 was a reasonably new aircraft. Everything was clean and looked good. The food was exceptionally good. My wife and I both commented on how good the food was (my wife stated, "it was the best airplane food ever"). The main meal, the hotbox snack, and the late in flight chocolate ice cream were ALL good. The staff were great, friendly, service oriented, nice people."

Cons: "We booked a BA flight from Pittsburgh to Glasgow, through Philadelphia. We intentionally chose BA because we anticipated good service. We later learned that the flight was serviced by American. Our original flight was delayed one day because we missed our connection due to weather on the East Coast (after six hours at the airport). American re-ticketed us for a flight the next day. After several misstarts in Pittsburgh, we arrived in Philadelphia with minutes to spare. After running to the gate, we were then greeted with what turned out to be a four hour delay. Then, upon return, we learned that our seat selections/priority boardings were all deleted because of the re-ticketing on the on the flight out, and we spent hours on the phone and at the airport trying to get things sorted out and ensure that we had a return flight. One of the worst trips ever in my experience."
Pros: "We were notified of the pending delay in our flight from Athens to Philly very promptly on the morning of the 10th. We immediately called and spoke to a British Airways agent and also a supervisor who was understanding and kind enough to accommodate us by reserving seats on a later connecting flight with American Airlines from Philly to Phoenix. We did not receive a confirming email and ended up calling back. We were then told that Vouchers will be waiting for us at the Philadelphia airport with our names."
Cons: "When we checked in at Athens airport there was no information available for our connecting flight in Philadelphia. The AA counter was chaotic, the agents were rude and had changed our seats to 2 separate areas. When we arrived in Philadelphia there were no vouchers waiting for us. The only thing that the agent could find were seat assignments . We stood in line over an hour waiting for her to figure out what had happened and almost missed our connecting flight . Even though my daughter was in a wheelchair with a brace on her leg and in pain, the agent at the counter was not very empathetic at all. The agent also kept saying that this was not correct somebody made a mistake to tell us we were booked and that person will get in trouble. Eventually she spoke with the supervisor and gave us 2 boarding passes."
Pros: "Liked all the little amenities - actual meals, USB plugs for charging, free movies and games to entertain my kids, enough leg room that I can bend down and get stuff from my bag under the seat and that I could lean back a little without causing the person behind me to need knee surgery, tilt feature on screens to make video viewing easier when the person ahead of you tips their seat back. Seats were wide enough that I didn't fear jabbing my neighbor in the ribs every time I moved. Ice Cream!"

Cons: "Boarding-we boarded class 9 and had a carry on that was to big so all 3 personnel yelled at me and my husband with my daughter in my arms very loud and disrespectfully " YOU CAN NOT BRING THESE TYPE OF BAGS ON THE PLANE!" Mind you 3 people are saying this while other people were also waiting to board the plane! So I quickly say we do not need 3 people to tell us 1 thing and especially yelling at us like we were kids or criminals because it felt like we must have broke the law the way they treated us! That experience was horrible and ruined my liking for AA"

Cons: "The space and seats were uncomfortable. I received errors when trying to access gogoinflight on my tablet, even when I had the most updated app. Therefore I was unable to use the app during my flight to Philadelphia. Also, when checking in from our original departure location, MCO, we were not provided our boarding pass or luggage tags for our final destination, Barcelona, only to our connecting flight, Philadelphia. The connecting flight was delayed in MCO for an 1 hour and a half, after we have boarded the plane. So we waited in the plane for the whole hour and half while a maintenance issue was being resolved. The delay almost cost us to be late for our final flight to Barcelona. Since we were not given our boarding passes for PHL to BCL it caused confusion when trying to board our plane in PHL to Barcelona, and also caused for our baggage to not arrive with the flight. After landing, we spent an additional 2 hours at the Airport going through customs, and waiting on line for the lost and found desk for baggage in Barcelona. The lost and found desk had three agents available to assist, however we can only talk to one which was designated specifically for American Airlines. This caused a very long wait time of 1 hour. We were advised the bags stayed in Phildelaphia since they did not have the additional luggage tags, and will not arrive till the next day. Overall the experience within the Airport kiosks, service desks, and baggage check in' s was not a pleasant experience. I believe many of these issues could have been avoided if the American Airlines agents were more knowledgeable and attentive."

Cons: "One FA seemed visibly annoyed with me; I'm honestly not sure what I did. I am a FA for another airline; didn't identify myself as such but always make sure to not be "that passenger." During two beverage services she did not ask me if I wanted anything but simply looked at me with disdain and sighed loudly. She wasn't rude; just not friendly and I never once saw her smile. She seemed tired and annoyed. I understand that feeling. I've been a FA for 16 years, still junior at my company, but it reminded me how important body language and facial expressions are when we work hospitality and customer service in the public eye. I hope everything is ok with her and I'm sorry if I did something that irritated her. I didn't get her name."

The wheel chair attendant who initially took me to my gate in Las Vegas was very friendly, and helpful, and she did everything she could possibly have done, short of leaving another passenger to come take care of me, which wouldn't have been right. Cons: "I checked in with American and a wheel chair attendant assisted me to my gate. My wheel chair needed charged and I was two hours early, so the attendant sat me at the charging station because there were no outlets in the gate area. She contacted her supervisor to advise of my location and that I would need assistance. Nobody came for me. I gathered my things the best I could and struggled to get to the gate to get attitude from the gate agent, telling me the wheel chair attendant was there looking for me. What ever happen to using a paging system when you know the passenger who is disabled checked in two hours earlier? Had someone paged, maybe I could have flagged their attention, or maybe they could have called the company in charge of handling their wheel chair attendance and would have known where I could be located. Either way, the attitude is uncalled for, especially when I apologized and stated that the wheel chair attendant was expected to help me."
Pros: "Equipment was an A330. I was seated in Row 11 and had priority boarding. As a result, I had considerable leg room and not trouble finding overhead space. Seating in the back has several inches less "pitch" between seats. A330s provide a very smooth ride."
Cons: "Food: Salad was good, you could taste the arugula. Chicken, once you scrape off the barbecue sauce, was decent. The rest of the lunch did not seem worth eating. The best option if you are hungry is to either eat in the terminal or bring something you do enjoy with you. The movie selection had nothing you likely have not seen already. Be aware that sometimes PHL moves slowly. We waited over 5 minutes for the plane door to open. Bags took about 40 minutes to come up. There were no lines at immigration. Connecting in less than 2 hours can be iffy."

(Oh yeah - we were late taking off to start my vacation from Philly because a crew failed to arrive to "start the engines of the aircraft," per captain's announcement. The entire aircraft boarded and sat, again, for 30 minutes without any air conditioning or air flow in the cabin.) Blah experience. Blah employees. And two different captains announced the reasons for delay with an "annoyed tone.""
Pros: "I flew first class. Philadelphia airport is horrendous. I chose to fly first class to avoid lines and make flying by my lonesome go more smoothly. There are no special lines for first class there are absolutely no perks to flying first class out of Philly. The first class flight attendant was rude. They ran out of hot food by the time they got to me so I was served yogurt ... I don't eat yogurt. I waited 40 minutes for my luggage to arrive at baggage claim. The flight to Philadelphia from Tampa was a good experience. They had first class lines. The airport was cleaner. The flight attendant Steve, was kind and professional. I was served a hot lunch. I'm a diabetic and when my blood sugar went low he got me orange juice quickly. I waited maybe 10 minutes for luggage at baggage claim. However with the horrific experience in Philadlephia I may never fly American again. Definitely will never fly out of Philadelphia again. I was told by the woman who I sat next to on the way home that she hates American and usually flys Delta for her business trips."

On top of what appeared to be a mass exodus, or perhaps something you'd see in a third world country, those people who paid more $$ to have carry on bags, in zone 1 and be able to board first were most certainly not feeling the value. The gate experience was not well organized or orchestrated. After getting off the plane, our daughter realized once in baggage claim that she left her backpack on the plane. Not being experienced in this area, we asked for help. A police officer told my wife to go to Frontier office, where there was no one in the office, someone else said have them paged. There was no white courtesy phone in the area that was operating, so she went to Southwest and asked if they could page someone to come to the Frontier office and they said no, walked to next terminal to find a working courtesy phone, paged someone to Frontier and within 5 minutes ,10 people showed up. Asked if someone could help. They radioed to the gate that a passenger left their bag. What the rep should have said was that they called the gate, hopefully someone locates and if they do, they will bring it here and we will check on it in a few minutes. The person didn't say a word, 5 minutes later my wife asked what happens now. After a nice sigh and eye roll, the Frontier rep says if they found, they bring it. My wife asked would it be possible to see if they found it instead of just waiting around here for bodies to appear. The bag was eventually found and returned but the experience was just now a good one to say the least."

Whether I'm flying them myself, or picking up someone who's flying them, the last several Frontier flights I've experienced have been delayed, often repeatedly. And then there's the luggage fees . . . I booked this most recent ticket well in advance, and wasn't sure what my luggage needs would be. When I went online to add bags, I learned that adding them post booking, but pre-airport still incurred a significant cost increase - from $25 (at booking) to $38 (a week before check in). To carry one bag and check another, I had to pay nearly $80, which was more than the cost of my actual plane ticket! I'm sorry, Frontier, but I think our relationship is coming to an end . . ."
Cons: "I cancelled my flight a week before the time of departure they said that it'll cost me $99 to cancel the flight and $86.45 was supposed to be refunded. the lady told me it will take 7 to 10 business days when I called 3 days later on the 10th day I called and the gentleman told me that I don't get a refund I get a credit of the $86.45 that I can use to October 7th to use on any flight. My problem with that is I don't fly often and I had to cancel that due to my job. I feel that if I cancel a flight way in advance before the flight is being departed I should be able to get my refund back I'm sorry to say it is but I would never use this airline company again because if I knew that the first time. I wouldn't have done it. Oh I also found out because I keep getting updates from kayak of the flight that the flight was supposed to been I believe was 8:30 p.m. but due to rain it didn't leave Philadelphia Pennsylvania until around 11:45 p.m. so I'm kind of glad now I didn't go because my family member who I was going to visit would have been very upset because they had to stay up an extra 4 hours and they had to go to work the next morning."

Cons: "After being delayed on the first leg of my trip, we arrived in Denver being told to go to a particular gate. Once there we were told it was moved to another gate. This happened a total of 4 times! Again the flight was delayed. The pilot/co pilot made a negative comment on the PA about the airline after apologizing for the confusion. I was not given the opportunity to choose my seat. When I checked in, I asked to change from the middle seat I was assigned to, to a aisle seat to accommodate my long legs and severe knee arthritis. The attendant at the desk looked at my boarding pass and exclaimed "well, your flying ECONOMY so I guess you'll just have to deal with it". Drinks that are complimentary on Alaska (soft drinks, juice , water etc.) were charged for. The attendants completely skipped my row and we were not offered anything. The attendant did provide me a diet cola at no cost when I brought it to her attention. All in all a miserable trip home, in such contrast to our flight there on Alaska Airlines at the same cost."

The fact that the seats don't recline is absurd. The fares look affordable when you are booking but Frontier nickel and dimes you every step of the way once you get your ticket. I'll be taking my business elsewhere when I purchase my next ticket."

Unfortunately we also experienced a lot of turbulence during the flight (no one's fault) but our almost two year old ended up getting sick and neither seat back pocket had any bags. Luckily the lady next to my husband had brought her own and gave them to us. We were in the back of the plane and asked for a trash bag and or napkins and they ignored us at first. My husband and I tried to stay positive and laughed pretty much the whole time because these things happen. The crew didn't help us until decent (about 20 minutes later) and seemed upset that some got on the floor as they were complaining that they would need to use a special cleaning agent. Our son was such a trooper and wasn't fussy or crying. His stomach just couldn't handle the turbulence. The only positive about our flight we're the wonderful passengers sitting around us!"

I am grateful we did not take off with a defunct left-engine. We taxied back to the airport and de-planed--but only after being instructed not to talk to the other passengers. (Really.) The flight was not cancelled, even when the plane was towed to the hangar. Finally, after six hours, Frontier offered a refund--as they had no interest in placing us on another airline that was going to the same destination. I rented a car and drove from Charlotte to Philadelphia to retrieve my own car from the airport so I could arrive home 15 hours after my scheduled arrival. Frontier couldn't care less. NEVER again."

Announcements over the speakers every 40 minutes or so asking you to buy or subscribe to some service. Constant announcements , very annoying. Specially on an overnight flight when most people are trying to sleep, which is nearly imposible on those seats"

Good idea, but the announcements kept saying we were 15-20 minutes away from boarding, but the same 15-20 minutes about three times in a row. We left about an hour late. I would prefer it if you were just straight with us the first time. "Ladies and Gentleman, it will be about an hour. Our new boarding time is XX. Be back here by then and we won't leave without you." Also, the desk crew should have asked the passengers to have a seat instead of standing and blocking the area. People were trying to get by and it was difficult. Also, on a completely different topic, healthier snack choices would be appreciated."
Cons: "The crew was very clumsy and on multiple occasions either elbowed me in the head as the walked passed, hit my knee with the concessions cart,etc. all with Minimal apology. I enjoy flying frontier because of the cheapness, but I this flight made me see what I was paying for. Might just have to bite the bullet and pay the extra few dollars for better service in flight. There was also a maintenance issue that delayed the flight about 15 to 20 minutes and we got little explanation as to what was happening. Lastly, i think it is absolutely ridiculous that you have to pay upwards of $45 to carry on a bag. I had to have an extra $80 added onto my trip due to this, so inconvenient and just makes me want to switch airlines completely and skip all of this hastle. Cheap doesn't always pay off."

They said flight was cancelled due to weather reasons, but American Airlines was able to get planes running on only an hour delay. Cons: "Received email at 3:30pm that 8:15pm flight from New Orleans to Philadelphia was cancelled. Was on the way to the airport already, so didn't see the email until the lady at the desk told me it was cancelled. When I asked why, she said it was "due to weather" because it was snowy up in Philadelphia. Since they were claiming the cancellation was due to weather, they would not help arrange or pay for an alternate flight on another airline, nor cover a hotel during the time stuck there. They told us that the next flight we could take was Friday (it was Monday), which was also the day before Christmas eve. It was not snowy in Philadelphia. The plane we were supposed to be taking was arriving from Philadelphia on time. After 2hrs of being on hold and arguing with Frontier customer services, they finally admitted to my travel partner that the reason for the cancellation was actually because it would put the flight crew that they had over the legal limit of fly time without breaking/sleeping. So they lied to me completely about the reason to begin with, offered no help whatsoever to resolve the problem in a reasonable manner, and eventually admitted the real cause of the cancellation but still refused to pay for another flight. Luckily, one of my other travel companions was headed to Philadelphia via American Airlines at the same time, and had miles they were willing to let us use. Otherwise, it would have cost $2000 for the two of us to get home - or whatever it would cost to stay in a hotel for 4 nights while missing work. Never choosing them again."

The Frontier staff was rude, unsympathetic, and very accommodating. They would not work with us at all and made us rebook. They didn't have another flight for another 24 hours. We had to pay $99 a person to go on this flight. The airport was empty. They could have easily rushed our bags on to the flight. (This once happened to me on Southwest and with 28 minutes to spare they got us and our bags on the flight!) They were determined to make us feel miserable and treated us like we were children in trouble. They do not care about customer service and seem to enjoy when their customers are miserable."
Cons: "Seats don't recline- $45 charge for a carryon bag? Staff seems burned out- just going thru motions. Like it's their last job or no other airline would hire them- their doing us ( the customer ) a favor because they went to work that day- the captain seemed fine. Only came on when had to. There were no air sickness bags- the turbulence was very bad. The woman next to me barely made it to the bathroom in time- because on the the lavatories was not in use for a maintenance issue. Overall very poor experience"
Pros: "The animal on the plane was cute. Otherwise, nothing."
Cons: "The plane was late to board which they blamed on cleaning. When we finally got to our seats (both flights) they were filthy. My first seat actually had a chunk of hair and a napkin on it. My second crumbs all over the seat and floor. The seats were horribly uncomfortable and did not recline. They claim they have low fares but there were hidden costs (charges for picking seats AND carry-on bags) that we didn't learn about until we arrived at the airport and had to use money we saved to spend on vacation for the flight instead. I would have rather paid weeks ahead so I didn't have to use our fun money."
Pros: "The flight was pleasant the crew was friendly. the flight departed and landed on time."
Cons: "When I needed assistance it took the attendant at least 15 minutes to recognize my call. Another passenger had to assist. The attendant wasnt serving at the time just chatting with other passengers. i was surprised by the added fees and the seating was tight. the staff at the New Orleans terminal was borderline rude when checking bags. My friends bag was about an inch longer than the required size because of the handle and was forced to pay as a carry on. The staff in Philadelphia was more pleasant and helpful when explaining the added cost."
Pros: "It doesn't matter to y'all what i like. Due to a deep discount ticket, elected to fly one way back from the NBAA - National Business Aviation Association annual convention in Orlando. It was like coming from first class to third class but i knew that having flown Frontier once before rt SEA and denied the credit card i took up the offer. You people could write the reversal book a retort to Dale Carnegie, 'How to loose friends and influence people'."
Cons: "Really don't care much for your airline, never have. It starts with an attitude. Then you have the audacity to demand $25 for my standard airline roller bag. The so called food is lousy. Three crew members handled my request for more water with "did you want to recycle that"(?) sarcastic. One was a skinhead. Not only are your clothes black, it is the deepest textured black i've ever seen, right out of the Bible as defined as people of darkness, no taste either. The seat had no recline, not even the new two inches. That dinky tray table, have never seen before. What is this Spirit Airlines (never flown)? Put a handicaped person on last and have them get off the plane after everyone else has left, not the complete opposite. Actually it was all as expected. I know you people. But the pilots did a fine job. commercial pilot grs"
Pros: "I did not like anything"
Cons: "Passengers were kept on the plane for 3hours before the captain made a decision to let the passengers off. the flight attendants were rude and lacked compassion for the passengers discomfort. Passengers were not offered any complimentary beverages or snacks to compensate for the inconvenience. Limited clarity was given concerning steps needed to board the next flight. The seats are hard, uncomfortable and do not recline. This is not my first negative experience with frontier but it will be the last."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Everything.The ticket was equally expensive as any other carrier, but they charge you for carry ons which was very expensive. They also don't give you anything complimentary on the flight which I thought would've been the least that they could do after how much money I spent. I've never been on a flight where they were so cheap and didn't give anything to the passengers for their hours of being on a plane. not to mention they were very unorganized and we had an hour delay and were told to exit the plane because they could not figure out how to shut the baggage door under the plane. After people started getting off they let us know that the pilot figured out how to shut the door after trying one time. It was a complete inconvenience to everyone on the plane, and they did nothing to make it up to the exhausted passengers. I will never fly with frontier again, and all of the other passengers agreed."
Pros: "Frontier has the best crew members"
Cons: "The flight was changed from arriving on Sunday evening to a red-eye that arrived at 6 am monday morning. My husband and I would not have booked this flight if this had been the original timing. Also, the "first class" is a joke. We paid extra because of previously mentioned schedule changes hoping to get some sleep. (We both had to be at work Monday) The seats were not bigger, any more comfortable, and do not seem to have any additional leg room. The flight itself went smoothly. However, I will try to avoid taking Frontier airlines because of the delays, outrageous schedule rearrangements, and lack of comfortability."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "I arrived at Austin airport one hour before my flight and no one was at the Frontier counter to help with a boarding pass and check my bag in. I had no choice but to miss my flight and they wouldn't give me a refund and basically told me it was my fault because I didn't arrive two hours prior to boarding? The Lady at the Delta counter told me no one had been at the Frontier counter for over an hour! So I recommend anyone spend the extra money and avoid this airline like the plague. Terrible terrible terrible!"
Cons: "There is no warning from Frontier that customers will be charged for both checked and carry-on bags. Along with being charged extra depending on what seat the customer chooses (up to $30 additional charge). It's a good thing I went online 24 hours before my flight or I would have been very upset to get to the gate and have had to pay $60 for my bag. There seems to be an up charge for everything after the ticket is paid for, including food and drink. The seats in the airplane felt like glorified plastic lawn chairs."

Cons: "poor customer service overall. On return trip, required to pay a "carry on bag fee" of $45 which is nearly double what most airlines charge to check a bag. was a total surprise charge, as we were not charged on the trip out. Return trip - sat on runway for 40 minutes before take off. Made up some time in the air. Upon arrival, sat again for > 30 min before a gate opened. dreadful. Didn't offer beverages without a charge - had to ask if you wanted water (not offered). Purchase snack menu items - very poor selection."
Cons: "The woman at the check in counter was rude, and by the end she had me in tears my bag was fine on the fight in but she insisted on charging me 60 dollars on the way home I had no money or credit cards on me so I had to beg a stranger for money, and when I gave her the 60 dollars she said with a grin on her face we don't accept cash at that point I broke down not knowing what to do she announced one minute to board and finally they let me on I was a mess by then! Never again will I fly Frontier!!!!!!!!!!! Robin M. Cahill 215-669-1108"
Cons: "Despite that the plane had clearly not arrived, the desk people indicated we would still be on time, and we were told that we would make up the time in the air. After waiting for 1.5 hours on the tarmac, we were 1.5 hours late to our destination. The seat were very small and not very comfortable and did not recline. We were told when checking-in online that we would have to pay $16 - $50 to guarantee that we would sit next to each other (only 2 people). Also there was a steep charge for checking and even carry-on luggage! The airline also lost one of our bags on the return trip. Pretty terrible experience overall."
