Very friendly and helpful staff on board and United was excellent when I missed my onward flight due to the delay in London. Very well organised meant much less stress

United has come a long way, it’s been a fantastic experience traveling with them.
The flight attendants were very rude, beyond comprehension. I took a business class from London to SFO for the first time on United. When I asked for a second piece of bread during dinner, the serving attendant threw a 3rd bread on my plate and said, “here. You can have this one too”! I couldn’t believe the rudeness of the attendant. Most all attendants were very rude, unhelpful, sing the food was absolutely disgusting. Never fly United internationally in business class. My flight back to SFO was a nightmare!!
Our experience on United Airlines was extremely poor. The plane was extremely cold throughout our entire flight- which multiple people complained about- and we had to wait 2 hours to get a blanket which was too thin and barely helped warm us up. As well as this, none of the entertainment features were working so we had to sit through a roughly 10 hour flight with nothing to keep our attention, including the actual flight path screen. It was an extremely disappointing experience and I would hope that this gets fixed if we ever choose United Airlines again.
Cabin crew was very friendly, requests were satisfied promptly and cheerfully, and the cabin was reasonably clean when I boarded. The United lounges at Newark and Heathrow are always well-run and comfortable, especially Newark. I look forward to the new lounge that will be part of the rebuild of Terminal 2 at Heathrow.
The senior flight attendants were amazing. Totally different vibe from other carriers. Easy 10 hour flight in Business Class. Great food. Good humor as well.
I was lucky to sit in a seat with legroom in economy . The airplane felt like it was 100 years old, seats were very basic, barely reclined. Food was alright , staff was ok but not the friendliest. But all in all ok trip, perfectly on time
Textbook great flight. On-time departure and arrival, clean plane, good food, friendly flight attendants. Checked baggage delivered promptly.
The passport line was so long that many of us were concerned about missing our flight and some did. It would've helped if a AA representative had gone to the passport check-in sooner to advise that boarding was closing and those flying that were stuck back in the line, needed to come forward with apologies to others. An AA representative did do that but only after boarding had already closed. (They delayed take-off so that more who were running with carry-ons could get to the gate - especially stressful for older people!) Then to be crammed into a seat with barely enough leg room for a thin woman, 5'7", like me, much less for a taller, bigger person was not comfortable, especially if the person in front decided to lean back. Crew was fine, food and entertainment also.

Pilot kept the seatbelt light off for almost the entire flight, so bathroom visits were well spread out. Yes, it was a very smooth ride, but I have been on transatlantic flights where the seatbelt light was almost perpetually on, even though no turbulence. Pickup of meal trays and trash was exceptionally fast and frequent.
Overall it was good but not great. The aircraft was an old and seats didn’t recline in business class unless you kept playing around with it.
Food was terrible. Flight attendants OK. Only saw them at food service. Other than that they paid no attention to the passengers at all.
The plane was subbed for another last minute, the gate was changed last minute. Could live with that but we boarded and there was a delay which totaled an hour in the end. There was a technical issue which meant wheels needed to remain out for ten mins after take off. My USB phone charger was broken as was the headphone jack which meant I could t enjoy the IFE and could use my phone after a few hours. Even the map function on the plane failed to work after a few hours.
Had an hour delay due to mechanical/safety; so we missed our connection in Dallas. Got home later than planned but safely and that is appreciated.
Standby for us - as travelers with mobility issues - was inefficient and not responsive to our needs. Crew seemed disinterested and disaffected - just going through the necessary motions. Food snack (chicken wrap) was awful to the point of wrenching it up a few hours later.
Connection via Dallas was dodgy. It takes a long time to clear one terminal and check through into another. Allow at least 2.5 hours between plane times, maybe 3.
Flight was delayed. But my finances flight with JetBlue a week before same route was extra delayed and then cancelled at 2am when his flight was suppose to take off at 7pm was never provided a hotel or anything. Came back to airport and his rescheduled flight was cancelled again for 2 days later. Was told since it was a weather issue they don’t do refunds. But that’s a lie because I booked him on another airline at the same time and they were able to take off perfectly fine
Flight delayed 4 times on a non-stop from BOS to SFO. Then when landed in SFO had to wait for 30 mins for a gate AT 3:30AM.
Plane was delayed multiple times. I would like to request a refund. Was due to arrive Thursday evening ended up arriving Friday morning.
The seats were roomier than other airplanes I’ve been on.
Jetblue provided a very good service during the flight, the plane in a very good condition, the crew is professional, everything was on time. That's it!

Going through JFK’s security is a mess. The TSA security said no shoes on the bins. So, we place our shoes in the belt and they came out all over the belt. Boarding was delayed and Flight as well.
We liked the flight, but not in JFK, not in Gatwick it is no lounge and this was surprising and disappointing. I think by now it is understandable that COVID will not go away and why it should not be business lounge?
I loved the flight and the crew. It was comfortable and smooth.
Flight map did not work. Crew was great, food was good, plane took off on time and landed early. That's all I can ask.
Paid for exit row at the back of the plane. Window seat with lots of leg space. Food was inedible (as usual). Brought my own.
Not what I expected for the last leg of a $5100 business class experience. Boarding was a nightmare. The flight was delayed and I had to keep checking my email to ensure I was at the right gate since the airline or the terminal had no clue until 15 mins prior to boarding. Food was gross, limited drink options.
Flights scheduled with impossible connections - Lufthansa apparently believes it takes 7mins to change terminals, go through passport control, re-clear security and walk 1.8kms…..and everything will work perfectly (which it never does at Frankfurt). No staff on hand to assist with transfers on delayed flights. No transfer guidance provided by app. No compensation offered for 6hr delay to connecting flight.
Crew were friendly and very helpful Plane was clean and the legroom is standard. Overall a good flight, no complaints.
Other than problems with checking in and uploading passport info everything was great. It would be nice to be able to manually input passport info. Often while traveling the bandwidth has problems uploading pictures
Boarding was a zoo. London ground crew was useless. Poor communication regarding where to line up. We were group 2, and everyone was jammed in together. Ground crew didn’t seem to care.
Horrible flight attendant in back of economy that screamed at me, have already reported to United. Horrible food - for Gluten free, why would you assume the person is vegetarian? I was served some kind of horrible curry bean paste and multiple cold rolls and soggy vegetables with no seasoning... um no!
Knowing that there was weather in other areas of the world, united airlines should have planned better than it did. The flight was 5 hours late. United has no regard for its customers
Flight itself fine, big problem with KAYAK. Revised e-ticket sent in July stated departure LHR 10:55, arrival SFO 13:45. (a believable local arrival time given flight length and time difference). When we got to LHR there was no 10:55 flight to SFO and were advised that in fact flight LH2473 was arriving in MUNICH at 13:45pm, and that we would need to get a connecting flight arriving in SFO at 18:55 local time - over 5 hours later than expected. 1) you the booking agent made an error on the revised e-ticket you sent, omitting the Munich stopover and incorrect SFO arrival time. 2) I booked a DIRECT flight and 3) we had to cancel plans this end as a result, even though the team at LHR did a great job moving us to a later direct flight getting us in 2 hours earlier than the flight from munich would have.
Very comfortable flight and simple and directed one way and back. Amazing price.
Airbus A350 is poorly designed for wheelchair users and reduced mobility passengers. The angle of the pods makes it awkward to transfer. I was able to but I have ab stability. It could be a real challenge for people with more severe mobility impairments. You'd think Airbus would have come up with a solution for this or thought more about us disabled folks more when designing this aircraft.
food options were terrible. for a 10-hour flight, there should be 2 decent meals. Also, flight attendants should come around with drinks more than just at the meals.
Good. For a long flight. The comfort of the seat could be better. Also, the food was « normal » plane food. Not indian plane food unfortunately! Everything else was smooth and great.
My seat cushion was poor. The cushion was compressed and was uncomfortable for such a long flight.
There might be more food options for people who can't eat so much starch/sugar/bread/rice. Meat, cheese, walnuts/pecans for snack, maybe jerky or other kinds of meat-based snacks would be better than bread and rice and sweets. I had an extra chardonnay, which was fine. The entertainment was great.
what would have been better would have been that my booking not been canceled by the system and had I been informed that the booking had been cancelled by the system I could have immediately rebooked and not found out that there was an issue when I was told by the system that I needed to book in. It would have also been good if either the booking agent or BA or anyone been in anyway useful. In the end I had to rebook a flight at an additional cost of $350. So no I'm not impressed by BA any of the other parties involved.
They cancelled our flight the morning of departure at 4:30am.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The seat configuration was as awful which meant no one had any privacy. The food was very good.
We flew business class. The staff was polite and responsive. The accommodations were comfortable and spacious. The area was clean.
