|Flights Arrive in||Toronto Pearson Intl|
|Flights Depart from||London Heathrow|
|Airlines||SWISS, Air Canada, Brussels Airlines, Lufthansa, Delta|
Pros: Food, crew
Cons: Comfort seats
Pros: Crew was very courteous and helpful
Cons: More leg room
Pros: The food was the best I've had on any airline in recent times. On the first flight it was a croissant and a swiss chocolate, on the second flight it was a hot danish pastry.
Cons: The first flight was late so I was worried I'd miss my connection (however connection was delayed too so I made it). Also, I was asked to check in my bag because "the aircraft was full" however when I got on the plane I noticed it was half-empty and there would have been ample overhead room.
Pros: Great crew
Cons: My parents needed special assistance for boarding and changing flights in Zürich and SWISS was just phenomenal. Thank you very muc
Pros: The entertainment was first rate. Seats -although snug and with no room to spare (like all other flights) declined nicely with seat adjusting too. Seems like on other airlines this isn't the case. Outbound flight - staff were friendly, smiling, warm and welcoming.
Cons: Very full flight. Did not like boarding process in Toronto - b fore filtering into zones it was crowded and felt a little like we were cattle being herded - unpleasant! On return flight staff were robotic - nothing warm or personal. Food was bland, poorly prepared and presented - but no different to any airline I've flown on. Late take off but we were kept informed by pilot. I
Pros: Boarding went smoothly. The entertainment (monitors in the seat-backs) was excellent. The crew was friendly and helpful. The food was much better than I expected on a flight.
Cons: I flew economy, so I didn't expect luxury, but that's a very tight fit for an 8-hour flight. I understand that industry standards have gone in this direction and that it's necessary to remain competitive, but at some point the industry needs to take into account the actual size of passengers. What are the seats now, about 16" wide? With so little leg room that I couldn't cross my legs if the seat in front of me was reclined. I'm a slim woman, about 130 lbs., and I was very (very) uncomfortable. I can hardly imagine the discomfort for the poor woman next to me (a plump post-middle-aged lady). I would definitely fly Air Canada again, as the staff was great and the overall experience was good. But I'm looking forward to the end of this trend of reducing space per passenger.
Cons: Same old movies and same as way over. Food was too spicy and not very good. Best was cold banana bread. I go once or twice a year never as much turbulence as this trip. Hard to sleep Flight attendant did not explain food choices Chicken or pasta. And beef or veggie. Had no clue what I was eating or if I would like it when I choose it. Most times did not like it.
Cons: Some crew members attitude... Really bad and unhelpful. Also whose idea was it to out the video controllers right where you rest your arm???
Pros: For a long-distance air trip in economy class, it was a generally satisfactory experience.
Cons: The flight attendants were less than pleasant.
Pros: The seats were wide tall and comfortable, there was enough room for the legs as well.
Cons: A little glass of juice would have been nice from the airline.
Pros: Helpful services.
Pros: Made up tons of time en route.
Cons: Usual 737 narrow-ish seat issues. Turbulence, but not a problem anyone could control.
Pros: Seats were fairly comfortable with decent leg room.
Cons: My biggest complaint is for the exhorbitant baggage fees—€100 for two bags is ridiculous. Also, one of the crew was rather testy with us when we first boarded (unprovoked), then came to us a few minutes later to say something nice to sort of make up for it.
Cons: There is no entertainment which is ok. You had to pay for everything in flight. Their carry on luggage size allowance is smaller than any airline I’ve ever flown
Cons: Light was delayed 3 hours. I had to wait 9 hours for a next plane to my final destination
Cons: The arm rests on either side of my seat where closed so I had limited mobility in my seat (by closed I mean they didn’t move and had no open space between where your arm sits and the top of the chair)
Pros: Food was great
Cons: Connect flight time was cutting it short- sane scenario.
Pros: Everything about the flight was perfect.
Cons: Cannot get Lufthansa to issue miles for the flight, or for my Star Alliance flights on Swiss and United. Frankfort terminal transfer distance is very far, and too far if your flight transfer is less than 55 minutes!
Pros: Seat is small
Cons: On time boarding
Pros: What did you like? Decent meals, no charge for cocktails, blankets, pillows and head sets for everyone, friendly flight attendants, excellent entertainment options.
Cons: First class almost always guarantees a much better experience!
Cons: Passengers should have the option to ask for additional snacks.
Pros: They cared for the passengers, helped me with my baby’s bag
Cons: Nothing @ this time
Pros: Crew very efficient. Greeted us with a smile. Movies sere good but hard to hear.
Cons: Tried to get comfort seats but sold out way ahead. Long trip for not much leg room.
We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.
We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.
Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.
