All the employees with whom I dealt were excellent and customer-oriented. The planes between Doha and London were new, had more space than older planes and had an excellent selection of movies and TV shows. I ordered special meals on all the flights, and I was very satisfied. I have been a fan of Qatar Airways since I flew it to Australia in 2011. It continues to do a superb job, even in Economy.

Unfortunately, the Delta 767 doesn't offer any upgrade for a wider seat beyond Delta One, and my employer won't spring for that. Too bad there isn't a premium economy option. Also, the entertainment unit in the seat next to mine malfunctioned, which you wouldn't think would impact me that much except that because it was "seeing" touches randomly throughout the flight, the screen would turn on, off, brighter, dimmer, play random stuff, and just generally be as annoying as possible to everyone nearby throughout an overnight flight.

A pleasant flight overall with my first impression being an airline with current popular music playing in the background and flight attendants cheerful. Since I was traveling alone, I opted to not purchase my seat prior to my flight date, instead I chose my aisle seat within 24 hours for free. I checked in my one bag and found out I had pre-checked so my security check went so smooth at the new terminal 2 at LAX. Looking forward to my flight back on June 15.

For nine hours we were cramped and could not sleep due to only be able to squeeze into one position. To get into the seat I put on leg in and then sat on the armrest and then brought my other leg up and then lowered my but into the seat. I am not even 6 feet tall and had this issue. So due to the difficult online check-in and seat selection and to the cramped seats we will never fly Virgin Atlantic again.

Pros: Great smooth flight staff was pleasant and the overall experience was fantastic.

When landing in London, they immediately turned me around stating, "You can't go on holiday". Cool, thanks. So 12 hours later, im sitting back in Dallas with a whole lot less planned. Thanks DFW! Pros: Food was tasty and plenty. Crew was attentive and professional. Even with a 20 minute delay for take off, we arrived on time.

Cons: I was on a long business trip heading back from India. The flight was delayed leaving India which would have made me miss my connection in London to Phx. Fortunately the flight from London to Phx was delayed (because it was delayed arriving into London) and I was able to make my connection. Especially when we had to take a bus from the plane to the terminal, there is no way I would have made my connection. While I know there are reasons for the delays, it is frustrating. After a long week of traveling and 21 hours of flying- ones patience does run out.

Cons: Never got on the flight!! This was a Christmas gift & they took the money when booked it and told me they needed credit card verification 2hrs before departure! Terms and conditions doesn’t say I needed the credit card when checking-in! They also NEVER notified us that I was needing that information! The person who booked my flight is overseas!!! They are the worst at customer service. Still waiting to hear back from them! It’s the holidays and they are absolutely careless! I must add that when checking-in the agent was rude, unprofessional and even mocked me! ridiculous!
Cons: Pd for seat upgrade so I could have leg room as I injured piriformis. Gate agent wanted to seat 2 people together so took away my chosen seat. I explained but she lied and said person was in wheelchair. Got on board and took photos of young woman seated - not in wheelchair and was up walking. Agent lied and was nasty. Ruined entire trip as I was not able to move much or stretch my injured leg. Am still in pain as I type this review. Complained to AA. Agent was so nasty! Should not be allowed to work with passengers. Fire her!
Pros: Boarding from Dallas was very good but when landed in London there was no service provided to me as I requested. I asked for wheelchair and help claiming my luggage due to health problem but when I asked at the airplan gate if some body will help me the answer was wait over there with a rude way and ended by walking to the passport area and claiming my bags by my self, my bags was not there and I was going back and forth to follow directions been given to find my luggage. I was very exhausted and tired and asked people around me for help.
Cons: There was no help at all especially from the British airway. Unlikely there was very rude answer by telling me if you need help you can hire somebody to help you at claiming bags area. This answer was not expected at all and I was very disoppointed as I made a request to have a wheelchair from London. This request was ignored in London. I was very tired and placed my self to a risk of injury because I hade recent surgery to my right shoulder. As a British air way and this was my first experience I will think carefully next time to use this service again. One of my luggage was damaged and this bag was new and this was my first time to use it they told me at customer service this just a scratch and there is no liability for this kind of damage. hopefully some body can investigate this and do something

Pros: The lady at the counter before we boarded switched our seats for us so our tickets could be together.
Cons: The seats we had were exit seats right next to the bathroom and it was a night time flight. So 8 hours overnight of constant commotion and people walking by. The flight attendants were blatantly rude and would sit right in front of us and openly talk badly about the passengers. One of the flight attendants walked by and literally just grabbed my drink out of my hand and took it. There was only one flight attendant who was actually pleasant and polite to everyone and her name was Kate. The other flight attendants were just rude and abrasive to everyone and basically would mock people who did not speak English as their primary language. We were both treated okay but I was truly appalled with the way they spoke to some of the other passengers.
Pros: I needed special assistance due to limit of mobility and I have been refused assistance twice

Cons: I bought the tickets together, but was informed at the ticket counter that i had only purchased tickets—not boarding passes. Boarding passes needed to be purchased by paying extra if my husband and I wanted to sit next to each other. I tried calling the customer service line through kayak and waited on hold for a long time with no indication of wait time. When the gate agent arrived, we asked and were moved to seats next to each other right away. The ticket agent at initial check in was very abrasive and non-solution oriented. if what she was saying was true— that we only paid for tickets and had to pay extra for boarding passes together— that was never made clear during the booking process. It’s unlikely I’ll use kayak again unless I know for sure what I’m buying.
Cons: I chose a package on the cheap flights that has a left hand side for choosing number of baggage which invariably inreases fare depending on the number of baggage and i choose 2 and paid for 2 baggage but the ticket came with 1 baggage and i contacted both by phone call, email and your website but did not get any fsvourable response. Had to pay again at the airport for the extra bag. This is highly unfair.

Cons: The seats were terrible. I don't know what it was about them, but I've never had a more uncomfortable flight. My husband had leg cramps for much of the flight and couldn't get comfortable. The rest of the flight was fine, but the uncomfortable seats were a huge minus. We'll probably try to avoid 787s from now on. The window-darkening system was annoying. They darkened the windows when it was dark outside and they darkened the cabin, so we couldn't look out the window. It was dark outside--why the need to darken the windows?? My husband requests window seats so he can look out the window.
Pros: British Airway, as their partner, made everything perfect.
Cons: Iberia never picks up the phone. American Airlines always says 'No' first, & sticks with their 'No' for about an hour before being willing to think of work 'round solutions. AA online check-in didn't work, There's always a 45+ minute wait by phone to get AA to answer.. Then the customer service line of Airlines @ LAX had 70+ people needing help, but only one person working. So it was an hour long wait, only to be told 'No' you can't fly. Yet once I walked over to British Airways, they found a way to get me to my destination. Airlines just does not have enough employees and doesn't care.
Cons: I've flown a lot, and I really couldn't believe how rude the flight attendants were on this flight. They seemed very inconvenienced by their job. I gave a snack pack back to a FA bc of my allergies and she snatched it out of my hand while walking by me without even looking at me...my husband's jaw dropped, he saw it too. It was unbelievable how rude they were.
Pros: I gate checked in the stroller at LAX. When it was pretty much dumped in front of me at LHR with an unspecified apology, the sun hood was bent so it doesn't fold right anymore, there's scuff marks on the side, there's a part missing from the left wheel and it drags to one side now. Not happy. If I'd been told, we'll take this off you and damage it, I might have checked it normally. Our car seat was fine.
Cons: Damaging our stroller. Food wasn't good either. A yogurt with various toppings apparently is a "Continental breakfast".

Cons: It was very cold, even with my vent closed and wearing a sweater. The food did not taste very good. One of the flight attendants (middle aged Caucasian male) was rude with an overall dismissive demeanor. For example, I requested water and he handed me a cup of warm water while giving everyone else around me a cup of ice with their beverage without being asked.
Pros: Entertainment system in Economy is really good, big screens and also plug point and usb points for charging.
Cons: Aisle is cramped so that you get nudged when trolley is being carted up and down. Food was pretty rubbish most of mine went to the bin (this is a terrible waste, rather not get served this and bring my own on board).

Pros: The "very" new 777-200 was very comfortable, well-laid out. I usually skip or leave half of the in-flight food served, but this rates as one of the best meals, I've had in an airplane outside of business class. The in-flight entertainment/information service was decent, but perhaps because the plane was still in new condition.
Cons: On this entire business trip, I booked with other companies, but ended up 5 flights operated by American Airlines. One cancellation, 4 delayed, 3 late arrivals. The last one was the most annoying. I will be avoiding AA in the future. The domestic crews are generally brusque and miserable. The international flight crews were more accommodating and pleasant, but most of them also seemed annoyed at passenger presence. Also, having to pay for a preferred seat on a half-empty airplane is simply unfair. By 24hrs before the flight, AA must have known there were plenty of empty seats.
Pros: Boarding the plane from the back first saved longer queues. Unfortunately people cheat and the boarding officers don't send them back to the right queue. Toilets were clean. Staff excellent. I was glad all my flights were stuffed to the gunnels. Presumably that is best for the environment rather than lots of planes with fewer passengers in each.
Cons: Passport control with new computer ID checks was fast. Baggage was slow coming. I booked through Netflights and they didn't book me a good seat. If I could have changed it myself they should have told me. On the way to Tampa on 3rd March I couldn't check in within 24 hours and had to wait half an hour while they changed our plane. BA used to do short science programmes which I loved. Shame these have finished.
Pros: Fantastic customer service - from lounge to arrival gate. Unlike BA this airline does recognize its frequent flyers and upgrades us often to business. I fly a lot - Executive Platinum - and this makes a huge difference.
Cons: My connecting flight LHR to AMS was on BA and they really droped the ball compared to AA.
Pros: I was in a seat in coach that was appalling. (28C?), one row behind the exit row seating. I am only 5' 8" but could not cross my legs. The guy to my left was KNITTING, so was constantly jogging my arm which I carefully had kept inside the armrest on my side. I will avoid flying in a BA 747 in future. Even Business is awful on those jets. I flew in Business once, and thought the head to tail layout was the worst I have experienced. I pulled down the joint divider and thought the person in the next bed was dead, he was lying there with his arms crossed over his chest! It's time to update the 747's or retire them.
Cons: The pathetic little 4.5" times 3.5" screen in the seatback was a joke in today's environment.
Pros: The flight arrived on time with my luggage, and although I booked through BA, for the first time ever, they managaged to get my special meal request correct.
Cons: I order a vegetarian meal in the hope I will get something edible. This was the worst airline food I have ever had. The plane was old so the economy class seats were larger than normal. There was, however, no in-seat entertainment. On the upside, I'm glad I didn't fly business class. Compared to the standard set by other airlines, the seats appeared to be from the 80's.
