Late gate change. Delta’s gate 37 is actually gate 24B- of course it is because it’s LAX. Delta staff acts as if 37=24B is the new math and we are stupid to not know this conversion. Delta staff acts surely and borderline hostel. Not sure if this is LAX or Delta’s culture. Either way, it stinks.

Cons: "The flight attendant could not serve coffee or tea due to "no potable water" onboard! The electric outlets at each of our first class seats were not functional, both the USB ports and the electric plugs did not work so we were not able to charge our phones during the flight. When I mentioned this to the flight attendant her response was that she had not received a report that the electric was not working. No other assistance was offered. There was very little legroom even though these were sold as first class seats. The plane was old and dirty, the armrests were sticky."

Ten days prior to the flight I called AeroMexico to cancel and they said there would be a cancellation penalty, which was fine. When I tried to redeem my credit, they said there was also an additional "No-show fee" even though I called to cancel 10 days prior, which left a total of $70 credit after all their penalties. I called and emailed to complain but they did nothing but pass me to someone else who was equally unhelpful. I will never fly AeroMexico for any reason in the future."

We sat in the last row of the 777 which only had 2 seats on either side of the plane rather than the standard 3. The seats still reclined tho not as much as the other rows. Food was free and excellent- so was the entertainment (I watched 4 movies on the 14 hour flight). Crew was great. Alcoholic beverages were also free but we don't drink so it didn't matter."

I mention this only because this was the only glitch during the rest of the flight. Loved the wide variety of entertainment available inflight, the AC outlets on EVERY row, and though I didn't need it this time, the availability of Wi-Fi Internet is appreciated. And though we left 40 minutes late, we made up part of the time and arrived only 20 min later than scheduled. Bravo Delta! I'll have to check out your version of Mileage Plus."

One of the flight attendents was more bossy I felt than necessary. She told me not to put my backpack in the overhead bin, even though there was enough space and the back 3rd of the aircraft was half empty (I was in the last loading zone so there weren't many more people after me)."

I waited at the original gate (C39) from arrival time (2:30 pm) til boarding time (5:40 pm). When I saw no change to my destination, I checked the United App to find that the gate had been changed C33). Rushing to C33 I found another flight boarding at that location with one United Representative who could not stop to answer questions. Seeing two unoccupied Representatives at the next gate (C32), I asked if they could help me with the confusion, they said I should check with gate C33 - which I told them that she was too busy with other passengers. I searched for a Departure Board and discovered that gate C33 was still the gate, but "aircraft maintenance" had delayed the flight until after 8:20. After having to check my carry-on because of lack of space in the overheads, my departure from the airport was further delayed another 30 minutes. Upon returning home and checking my email, I found notifications of two different gate changes (C33 & C44). Announcements should have been made at both gate C39 about the changing of the gate and at C33 explaining the problem. The captain's lame excuse about air conditioning and Phoenix's hot weather was lame to say the least."

Your lack of customer service is appalling and I hope That I never have to experience that again."

I thought I was purchasing a regular fare where I could bring a normal carry-on onto the flight, but this was a low cost flight and I had to check my bag. This information was not disclosed until after payment, and I believe this is dishonest on the part of Kayak. Kayak needs to be much more upfront about the details of the flights so that we passengers can select flights according to their needs. I felt deceived by the fare and would have purchased a different flight if I would have known ahead of time."

Waited in line for 2 hours to get a different flight. All flights to Phoenix were full. Didn't make the standby list. Couldn't make the rebook flight. Worst day ever Now, No one can give me a refund. mind you I took a day off from work this was a last minute. The reason this trip was so important to me is because my grandma is in the ICU. I hardly ever complain about any customer service experience. Overall to get a hold of customer service is awful. Now I have to spend more money and I have to drive 12hours."

Cons: "I received somewhat bad service at every point of contact with United. My flight was canceled in Houston, so I forced to stay overnight. I asked the rep at the customer service station if United pays for a hotel room if our flight gets canceled, I was told no. There were several canceled flights, do all the hotels were booked in the area. It was up to me to call every hotel in a 10 mile radius at midnight to find a room. I had to come out of pocket 150 dollars for the room and I missed work the following day due to my canceled flight. I was forced to stay in a hotel room with none of my clean clothes, no toiletries. I was told by a united rep, "we get off at midnight so you won't be able to get your suitcase today". All in all, it was one of the worst flying experiences I have ever had. I would like some one to call or email me."

Cons: "The flight was only about half- full so when we boarded there were a lot of empty seats. In that situation been told before that we could change seats and spread out if we wanted to, but they didn't say anything. I was going to ask, but there were 2 flight attendants just leaning on seats & talking up until they announced to prepare for departure. Then during the flight when passing out snacks she handed me one and didn't even offer one for my husband sleeping next to me. She moved on the next row and was gone so quickly I didn't even have a chance to ask. When she came back around for drinks, I asked for 2 drinks (1 for me, and one for my husband still sleeping, in case he woke up), to which she responded, "I just won't open it then." She gave me just the can of soda, - no cup, no ice. So when my husband did wake up, he just drank it from the can. Oh, and it's a good thing my husband was sleeping for a portion of the flight because his monitor wasn't working."

Pros: "The only thing I have to say that is positive is that it was relatively easy to change my flight date and time in the United app once my original flight had been cancelled. The app was the only thing that helped me understand what was going on during the constant time and gait changes throughout the day."
Cons: "This airline is terrible. First we were told that the flight would be delayed 1 hour and 40 minutes. We were supposed to leave at 2139 from IAH to PHX. They changed the departure to 2309 due to "mechanical failure" of one of the aircrafts. We were told a plane was coming and that we were just waiting for another flight to Albuquerque that was delayed before us to leave the gait. Long after that first delayed flight left passengers for PHX were delayed 3 more times which ended in the final tenative departure time being 0145. We were told at 0115 to sit tight and wait because the plane was now here but the crew was still in route. Shortly after this promise, the crew showed up and everything seemed to be ready for us to board. Another 30 minutes went by and they announced that the flight was cancelled. United airlines had used up over 4 hours of changing gaits and times only to end up cancelling the entire flight. They did not offer any explanation for this nor were they the least sympathetic to the travelers who have all paid to be on that flight. The customer service was disgraceful and did not offer any type of help on reimbursement, hotel, cabs, or compensation for this."

Cons: "flight crew could give a sh!t. Had to connect and came in late, made no assistance to get connecting passengers off first. Tv option sucks. Have to pay to watch anything. Couldn't even watch plane progress. Pay for that too. Only thing on is a cooking show. And yes you have to pay for food. Interesting. Food is decent though. That was a plus. All but one of the crew seemed pissed about being there. I know passengers suck. At least the guy that looked like Tim meadows from snl was nice. A 5 hour flight and they plane has no wifi (I get it) but also no charging ports??? Just gives the feeling of being held hostage for 5 hours and the only savior is your Visa. I'd hate to see how parents with kids handle it."

The people at the check-in counter said my seat had been given away, they could not reroute me with their computer system, and I had to call Reservations. I did so, was put on hold for several long stretches, and ultimately told that not only could I not get on another outbound flight without purchasing a brand-new ticket, but my return flight was now nullified and I would have buy that again too. Despite how distraught I obviously was, Spirit was unwilling to do anything to assuage the situation. I wasted an hour on the phone in the airport and ended up having to drive to LA through traffic on my birthday. A terrible experience. Never again. Will fly Southwest."

Cons: "No recliner seats."
Pros: "I'm a nervous fly-er but the stewardesses were all so friendly and calm that it helped me. Pilot was also nice & informative. I liked that they explained how to keep the plane safe (stay in your assigned seat due to weights & measures/keeping plane balanced) and use airplane mode, keep seat belts on, etc. weirdly enough, that kind of strictness and rule-following + explanation really helps nervous people like me. Kudos!"
Cons: "No food or entertainment but it was a short flight so that's fine. I disliked that it was $55 to bring a carry on, it almost negates how cheap the ticket price was ($48ish)."

Pros: "Boarding was simple. Just get on the plane. No lining up, zones, etc. Seating was fine with enough legroom. We opted to take the free seats without the upcharge and we ended up together in perfectly adequate seats. Flight attendants were nice and friendly."
Cons: "The baggage upcharges are silly. Really, a $41 flight with a $52 baggage fee?? Just charge us what the flight costs and don't count one bag as additional. Does it really cost that more in fuel to fly the bag?"

Cons: "Spirit is not competing on an even playing field for lowest cost fares on Kayak. You should not allow them to use your site. It merely appears to be low. My flight which started at $73 landed up being 157. Further more, flight was late taking off, on the return there was only one lavatory in flight because the other "was not working", bumpy ride and very bumpy landing, using in flight sales and incentives to sell a credit card with collaboration with Bank of America. There is such a complete absence of transparency that I don't hesitate to say, they are cheating Kayak customers and you should not allow them to advertise since it is not fair competition. Help us compare apples with apples."

Cons: "They cancelled 12 hours before my flight, offered to reschedule to next day . Ended up getting a flight from southwest to phoenix for less , and American Airlines for my flight back to LA. Kayak kept me updated on my Spirit trip that I cancelled .. My flight back was delayed 2 hours .... Twice . To top it off my girlfriend was coming to LA the week after ( yestersay ) .. Her flight was delayed twice from Phoenix to LA.. We'll see what happens later today on her flight back"

Pros: "The only part about this flight experience I enjoyed was the clever way the flight attendants did their introduction/safety announcement before takeoff."
Cons: "I waited in line to check in for 1.5 hours where they then told me I was too late and asked me to sign a piece of paper without at all explaining to me that my bag would have to go on the next flight. I am lucky I asked first because they had to make a special call for me since I couldn't wait at the airport for it at my destination. If I did not ask I would have been completely screwed up! I then waited in security for 45 minutes. My flight got delayed about 3.5 hours Total before actually taking off. I flew from LAX to PHX. I will never in a million years ever fly spirit airlines again."

Pros: "Spirit cancelled the flight. How to I get a refund?"
Cons: "Flight was cancelled!!!"
Cons: "This flight was cancelled. Rather than book by nephews and niece on an alternate flight, Spirit gave them a refund. They were stranded at LAX!! I find this a completely unacceptable way to handle a cancellation especially when the customers are 18, 16 and 13. Never will I fly Spirit again. They are not to be trusted."
Pros: "The ticket attendant was kind and helpful by informing me that my bag was acceptable as a carryon and no additional fees. Another attendant helped me get my boarding pass and guided me toward boarding. Flight was smooth, I had the whole seating roll to myself, had a window seat, landing was smooth, exiting plane was easy. I will definitely fly with Spirit again."
Cons: "The only thing I didn't like was the price of things at airport."

Cons: "Yes, you have to pay for a drink/snack, yes, if your bag doesn't fit under the seat in front of you, you'll have to pay extra, but if you know this in advance, than you pack lightly, in a small bag, and allow for the $5 drink if you want it, the fares are amazing, worth it."
Cons: "This airline is completely unethical with the most unprofessional and extremely rude employees that I've experienced to date. DO NOT FLY THIS AIRLINE... I assure you, their rates lure you in and you will end up spending significantly more than other airlines in the end. I cannot believe there has not been a class action lawsuit against this fraudulent organization."
Pros: "Flight was cancelled, the airline gave no reasons, and did nothing to accomodate us on another flight. I had to find a way to Phoenix and purchased a brand new ticket with Southwesr."

Arrived for our 730am flight on time. 5 minutes before the flight was about to board they announced the flight was delayed for 3 plus hrs. Then to be cancelled. Next available flight at 7pm. Keep in mind when we got to the airport the plane was already at the gate when we returned to board the plane was gone."

The weather in CO was perfect an my flight was canceled because Spirit airlines couldnt fill the flight. That is NOT MY PROBLEM and I shouldn't suffer for this. I do a lot of travel and have NEVER has a canceled flight. I used to fly between PHX and LA frequently and have been on next to empty flights but I have never been held responsible for the airlines inability to get business. I will NEVER book a flight through Spirit EVER again!!"

Cons: "Everything. First of all they charge you for anything and everything. Upon checking in I was charged $90 round trip for my carry on bag, which was actually more than my airfare. My flight from Phoenix to LAX was delayed 2 hours and then my flight from LAX to Phoenix was first delayed and then cancelled supposedly for weather in Denver. I will never fly with Spirit again."
