They changed plans after I had checked in and had my confirmed seat. They changed my comfort seat to main cabin and even though there were 4 available comfort seats showing, I wasn’t able to pick one. When I asked at the counter if I could switch back to my comfort she said no.. bc someone else may have higher status than me which is ridiculous bc I was originally comfort. On the flight, I asked the flight attendant to switch and he said once they closed the doors he’d let me know, and he never said anything to me again. Plus we were an hour late arriving, because apparently we weren’t cleared to land and we had to circle. Not sure what’s up with Delta lately, but this was a crappy experience.

It’s different compared to Southwest flights. Comfortable seating. Nice staff. Drinks and coffee free.

Crew was rude, and continued to bang into me as they passed and ram the cart into my seat.

Sat on ground at Lax for 40 min after landing because some one was at our gate. After a 3 1/2 hour flight it sucks to just sit there and wait for no reason that the pilot could give us. So much for ever getting out of the airport on time.

Everything was great until landed and had to wait 25 minutes to get into our gate! Can’t think of a good excuse for that on such a late, cross-country flight. Plenty of prep time!

Cons: "ON ticketing at New Orleans I wasn't allocated a seat number. At the gate shortly prior to boarding I needed to attend the desk for that allocation. I was also not told which Terminal the plane would go to in LAX and which terminal the connecting flight would be leaving from. They were not sure! Consequently I floundered around at LAX wasting time and bothering people for information that should have been known to me. The security checks are over the top and inconsistent in the US."

For someone of my height (5’5”) that was problematic. Fortunately another passenger saw my dilemma and held the bin lower to its full opening capacity. They would not even offer to hold my flight for 24 hours in case they fixed the issue within that time frame. It was very disappointing."
Pros: "It was actually a flight from new Orleans to Detroit. Seats were assigned at the gate for myself and many others. It seemed like the gate agent didn't care where she assigned guests who were travelling together as several people were not able to sit with their travel companion. Once I was on the plane I however switched with someone to allow them to sit next to their companion and put me closers to mine. Everything else went smoothly."

Cons: "I had my period and desperately needed to use the bathroom. We were told to stay in our seats The entire flight even though there wasn’t much turbulence. The flight attendant yelled at me over the intercom to return to my seat when I tried to get up so I ended up bleeding through my tampon."

More and more friends, family & 1 flight expert says AA gets more complaints. Will try booking with another airline carrier in future unless absolute emergency to take AA. Worth $40.00 or more extra to get friendly service."

We opted to rent a car and Had to cancel our return flight home to be refunded. American Airlines cancelled multiple flights and were in total disarray. Cons: "American Airlines cancelled a flight because of ‘weather’ from Msy to dfw, all other flights from Msy to Dallas operated on time but were sold out. We were re booked flying through San Francisco, missing out on flying on qantas, which is what I had paid for since they are a premium airline. We were booked on virgin America and then United for the international flight. United charged us each for 2 bags totalling $150 each, despite we booked a ticket with qantas which allows 2 bags each. Virgin America honoured our 2 bags, but united refused to. United also has service and aircraft which do not match the levels of qantas which I has specifically sought out. I could not eat some of the food because of the poor quality, and this is something I’ve never done before on an international flight. Additionally their were a lack of amenities on both flights, and no food vouchers despite our travel delay of over 5 hours. This whole ordeal has cost me money, worktime, and created a lot of stress to where I have had to cancel meeting on my arrival in Sydney."

But listen up Americans, the entertainment would’ve been better, if one: the internet was free like it was in MEXICO! And two: the sound worked for the movies. (That might’ve been my fault... or my phone’s fault). But, the free texting was something only available in a country to which Donald Trump (the most patriotic American in his whole wide mind) thinks is so inferior! What’s up America? Can’t afford to give us free WiFi in our planes? I hear ya... What’re you gonna do Trump, build a wall around the United State’s overpriced internet service?!? Just kidding folks! I had a great flight!"

Cons: "No local temperature control, back of plane too cold, middle too hot. No air vents at seats. 3 hours with no drink service, went to back asked for a diet coke, was told no. Flight attendant who was in the back would not give me one, said they were doing water service now and I should wait."
Cons: "Flight was delayed 2 hours, then moved to the next morning at 6am. Before we got to the hotel, the flight was pushed back to 8am. All for mechanical reasons. We've flown this route before, and have had an abnormally high number of mechanical issues. They seem to use older planes for these shorter flights, and it really shows. Technology could really help ease these situations. American's app does not allow you to look at rebooking options, so we had to stand in line for a solid 30 minutes to speak to an agent. Since it was the last flight of the night, there were only 3 agents there to help an entire plane's worth of people. Calling American didn't help. They couldn't help with hotel/food vouchers. These types of vouchers seem like something else that could be distributed through the app or electronically, eliminating the need to stand in line and grow increasingly frustrated. To add to the fun, the vouchers were not event enough to get a hot dog and drink for dinner, then a coffee and pastry for breakfast. Once we got the vouchers, trying to get to the hotel was a disaster. They had 1 van, so they could get about 10 people every 30 minutes. We just took and Uber, and were eating in the restaurant by the time others were still arriving from the shuttle. There was no one from American there to help coordinate with the hotel or shuttle. We were like blind sheep wandering around looking for the van. Finally, arrive for the flight the next day, and they start boarding about 10 minutes before the 8am takeoff time. So, of course, we were late getting off the ground. Then, when we arrived in Dallas, our gate was occupied by another plane, so we got to sit on an old plane for an extra 30 minutes until another gate opened up for us. Really, other than crashing, not much else could have gone wrong. Made American look completely incompetent...which is happening more the more we use them. Next time, I'll pay a higher fare to fly with Southwest."

Felt like an exercise to improve flight scorecard performance. The flight landed at least fifteen minutes early...but we didn't have a gate..and ended up departing the plane​approximately on time...but planeside checked baggage took almost thirty additional minutes to finally return to the plane full of waiting customers. Felt way too long....and the ground crew didn't seem to appreciate that most people had a connection..."

After a great flight to MSO from Denver, we have been sitting in the plane while DGS tried to figure out how to get us off the plane. No management is here to make decisions. We were assured by the flight attendant that when a flight is delayed and has connections, they communicate that to the gates and we would be fine. It was the OPPOSITE of fine. We landed with 10 minutes until the flight to Costa Rica left and they let all of us who were connecting deplane first, only to run full speed to a gate who’s plane left 10 minutes EARLY and decided that it was not going to wait for the 12+ passenagers who had no control of the delayed flight. My fiancé and I were flying to our WEDDING. So now I’m sitting here in Houston for a full 24 hours waiting for the next flight to take me to my wedding. The only “accommodation” united airlines gave us was a hotel. No compensation for the night we paid for at our resort in Costa Rica that we are missing, no upgrades to a better class on our new flight and no reassurance on how terrible they feel for this giant and heartbreaking inconvenience. I am furious."

Cons: "Everything else. The only redeeming feature of the flight experience was the great flight attendant onboard and the fact that we actually landed at my destination. The coffee maker onboard had been broken for a long time and the airline couldn't be bothered to fix it. If I were the flight crew, I would have gone on strike. No leg (or arm) room on the express jet really punctuated a 34 hour itinerary with a sour note. I could barely walk off the plane in the end. Less comfortable than a cheap rental truck for the same amount of time. I likely won't fly again with United. I'd almost rather walk next time to be completely honest. At least it would be healthier!"

By the time you pay all their fees, your ticket ends up costing the same or a little more than other carriers that already have these fees accounted for. I also didn’t like the fact that this woman supervisor threw her gate agents under the bus and then when confronted about it she denied it in front of 50 people and denied any wrong doing. What a horrible human being let alone a supervisor of people. Not sure what her name was but she works at frontier airlines in New Orleans Airport. The third thing is that Frontier goes very cheap on their airplanes. We had a brand new plane but the seats were hard and they didn’t recline. Tray tables were tiny and no WiFi. Who the hell doesn’t do WiFi ? Cheap airlines that’s who."

Cons: "Our flight was cancelled for "weather" yet every other major airlines, United and Southwest, had no issues. The customer service representative was unprofessional. She was unwilling to provide any proactive assistance. In fact she offered us an alternative flight that was scheduled to depart AFTER our scheduled returning flight. Contrasting this with our experience speaking to a Southwest airline representative who was courteous and knowledgeable was unbelievable. I will never fly Frontier again."

Unfortunately, to stay competitive in the industry, Frontier has become a "No Frills" airline. If you plan ahead with your luggage and snacks, they provide very affordable transportation."

Cons: "Showed up to the airport in New Orleans to find out my flight was canceled, but had to be told by people from another airline because the Frontier desk was vacant. Received no email, phone call, text or anything to tell me the flight was canceled. Not even one Frontier employee was at the airport to explain the situation. They just left a stack of papers to say the flight was canceled and they weren't offering anymore flights that day. Had to book one on another airline for the next day, so called Frontier to get reimbursed (they said very clearly on the paper that they would reimburse up to $400 in another airline) and spent over two hours on the phone getting passed around from person to person who said they couldn't help me. Still no idea if I'll be getting reimbursed. DO NOT FLY THIS AIRLINE."

Cons: "There was a lady sitting next to me with a small dog that was not in a kennel and it tried to bite not only one of the flight attendants, but me as well. The man who almost got bit told the woman that dogs should be in kennels during flights and she said "oh I don't know he's never done this before." Well awesome for you but I've never been bit by a dog on an airplane before either. The guy let it slide and moved on. The tray tables are a joke. They ONLY offer complimentary WATER. No leg room. Would not recommend."
Cons: "Waited in 1 degree weather this morning for 1 hour to check my bag to New Orleans to find out delayed 3 hours, gate changed 4x, then waited another hour for plane to deboard and "security check," only to be told flight was cancelled and to "see customer service." Waited in line for two hours with four other flights with no information other than word of mouth "if we don't wait in line can't guarantee refund." Found out there are no other flights to Nola until Tuesday. Got refund by phone booked new flight for Monday morning on Southwest. Total time at airport today: 9 hours. Saddest part: people are trying to get home for Christmas. Moral of the story: don't be like Frontier airlines. Be prepared."

I was hit and then verbally abused by a gentlemen on the plane, they laughed and did nothing!!!!! 4. They only allow 15 bags on their plane! After 15, they will move your bags to a different plane without telling you. What kind of nonsense is that?!"

She was pissy when I asked for gin, because she had to go look for it. She was agrivated when I asked if I had to buy the mixer separate, as it was my very first time on frontier. They didn't have gin though it was on the menu, as expensive as the alcohol was that I did buy, the mixer should have come with it. The fact that one has to pay for a carry on is ridiculous! On to of it all the flour was late boarding. I was not impressed with frontier. No wifi no entertainment!!!!"
