Her flight from Amsterdam to New York today operated by KLM, was delayed by few minutes. And Delta flight from JFK to Cleveland DL4084 was preponed by airlines. Result was my daughter was not allowed to board the aircraft. Worst was yet to come. Your staff at the gate offered her a flight to Cleveland for next day at 3:30 pm??? Means around 24 hours later. Is this how you behave with a girl of 19 years, asking her to stay at the airport. She was refused Hotel and Lounge stay by your team!!! Is this what you call customer services??? Obscene services is what I would like to term it as!!! My daughter asked them to give this is writing, which was refused to her. Why are your people scared to put it in writing if everything that you are doing is right by the Law??? I was left with no other option but to book her on American Airlines flight today departing at 9 pm to ensure that little girl doesn’t have to spend close to 24 hours at airport by paying $423. Cons: "Airlines in general need to enforce the carry on luggage rules. If it doesn't match the dimensions for the carry on specks then make the people Check it. Don't let it go. If I paid for a seat and I'm allowed two carry ons then there should be room for them. Don't ask people to check bags because of a full plane. The crew should have there own place to store their belongings, not where the passengers do and take their space. The life rafts need to be easy to get to but again should take up a spot a passenger has paid for their luggage to go. If that is the only space for these items then don't allow passengers to bring two items if in those seats or on the whole plane. It's really disappointing when your told you may have to check your bag because there's not enough room."

We deboarded and walked down a couple of gates and were boarding our flight to Lima in 15 minutes. I would recommend Copa at anytime. Our price was incredible and we got SO much more than we paid for which is unusual today."

New boarding passes were a mess and had to wait a long time to get mine printed cause they forgot to. In the morning in order to save money they sent us on a stupid early bus so that half of us could be sent back to the airport, so that meant we missed breakfast and the 2 hours plus of sleep."

Then I have 2 infants and when I asked about priority seating, you would have thought I asked her for a free flight because I got such a nasty response, not only me but she yelled at a guy in a wheelchair! Because he wanted to go in front of others to get himself settled (he had all the right in the world to do so) I honestly wanted to say a few kind words to this girl but I didn't."

Cons: "I upgraded to 1st class for both flights but the plane seating was very dismal and hadn't been upgraded in either of these planes for a long time. After we boarded the plane we were told that no drink, snacks or food would be offered. The attendant shut off the lights as soon as we got in the air and kept it dark in the cabin until 10 minutes before we landed. She never came around to check on us once or ask if we needed anything. I was so thirsty when we landed. I have decided that I will either go back to United Airlines or check out the 1st class options at American Airlines better next time. This might not have been their fault, I'm not sure what it was, but the flight was late landing and we took off an hour late as well which really put me behind schedule."

Pros: "I was in first class this time. The seat was comfortable for the flight of roughly 2-1/2 hours. We were served a continental breakfast that was filling and healthy with cereal, fresh fruit, Brie, soft crackers and yogurt. I'd rather have something simple but satisfying than something overcomplicated and possibly not that good. The crew was polite and efficient. I did have to use the lavatory at one point and I was happy that it was clean."

Ultimately, I was placed on the flight, but had to rush to every single one of my four connecting flights. I am a frequent traveler but this is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. Avianca should be embarrassed to be associated with star alliances."

I'm going to try to avoid American Airlines as much as I can!"

Cons: "My plane broke, worked multiple mechanicals, returned to the gate, my severely delayed departure caused all my connections to be missed thus creating more compounded issues. HUGE HUGE headache. Almost forgot, I'm still missing my luggage 2 whole days later."

Pros: "I know it’s out of the hands of the airline but we were delayed due to weather. Luckily they booked us on another flight but it was the next morning."
Cons: "I know there are clauses saying that United does not have to do anything to accommodate you if it’s bad weather but we did not get anything for our inconvenience. Most airlines will seem to help you with hotels or food and whatnot if you had to be rebooked. We ended up booking a hotel through the Hotel Tonight for a great rate although it’s unrefundable. Turns out we get to the airport and our original connecting flight was severely delayed and we would have made it on to that flight. So either way we were stuck with a loss."

Cons: "Plane sat on rinway in Newark. For 4 hours before takeoff with no explanation provided. I miissed my connection to Dubrovnik. I was flown from munich to frankfurt and then to zagreb. I was put up in a very low class hotel. I aarived in dubrovnik at noon the following day. This caused me great anxiety and aggravation and a losd of a full day of vacation."

I see the agent at the gate and she gives me a middle seat, I complained and she gave me an aisle seat. I get to my seat and someone is sitting in that seat, I go back to the front of the plane and wait to be assigned to another seat. The agent said they changed the plane that's why everyone lost seat assignments, 6 out of the 8 people that all booked together sat in their assigned seats. Never fly with them again."

Cons: "There was no air circulating on the plane the entire flight. The plane was over 90 degrees when we got on. Everyone on the flight asked for the air to be on and we were told it was. No air was coming out of the vents. Horrible flight."

Cons: "This was my worst experience ever with an airline! I have flown with them previously so I know about the bag fees, etc., but I did not realize thus was a self-service airline! There is is no customer service. My flight was to depart at 6am and we boarded the plane , but were informed that there was no pilot/copilot so we all had to de-board and wait for one. First they said 9:00, then 10 and then 10:45. I asked about my connecting flight and was told to go and book another flight which meant go back to the ticketing counter outside security! The agents at the gate claimed they did not have that capability. I proceeded to walk, but I called spirit airlines instead and was did not have to book another flight because the flight would be refueling and continuing to New Orleans so I would be on the same plane, but the gate agents did not know this. . We finally boarded 6 hours later to depart at 12pm. When I arrived in Chicago, not only did I have a message indicating I needed to pick up my bag in Baltimore, but also there was not flight continuing to New Orleans! So no bag and no flight! I had to argue with the ticket agent in order to get a hotel for the night book me on the same flight the next day. No apologies or explanation was provided. They actually tried to blame my phone connection for the miscommunication with airline about the connecting flight! They would not refund any amount for my bag or flight since they were able to book me 24 hours later! That is no excuse for the poor service they provided! Never again will I use this airline!"

Felt annoyed that they gave me a hard time about paying them cash. No where on the website does it say credit cards only. Also the seats were small and did not recline. On my return trip they changed the gate 2 mins before boarding and I had to run to catch the flight. I would not recommend."

If you have a bag you are wasting your money on this airline They charge for carry ons, and extra if they are overweight (a lot extra). The seats ate like seats on a city bus, fine for a block or two, painful after two hours. They charge an arm and a leg for everything, a reserved seat is $14(otherwise you get a random seat), a carry on at the gate is $100, ($48 if you but in advance). Even water is $3,"

Cons: "There is no reason to keep people waiting for 5 hours, only to then cancel the flight. That flight arrived from Atlanta and was obviously working just fine and then the excuse was a "mechanical issue and paperwork" - we all know that paperwork really means "Scheduling issues" - had we all known that the flight would be cancelled, we could have just booked a flight on another airline with other connecting flights to Vegas. Some people, like myself, have important things happening (like for instance, open-heart surgery) and need to be at the destination at the expected time. Obviously things happen and there are delays due to weather, etc., ---i'm not angry about initial delays. But to keep us for so many hours once that plane arrived without saying a single word about what was going on (unless people directly asked) is poor customer service."

Cons: "I flew in/out of two major cities and was reluctant to fly on Spirit, for good reason. Flight information was difficult to find at airport (Spirit rented a United gate and did not have any listed information on boards) and I relied entirely on my phone to follow flight delays and changes. When flight was cancelled there was no effort accomodate passengers on another airline, despite many flights available, and the next Spirit flight was two days later!!! Spirit offered refunds for that flight but the website did not work for two days and the wait was very long, over 20 minutes, on the phone. The baggage and seat fees add a significant amount to the cost of the ticket so that it is no longer less expensive than a more reliable airline. I will never fly Spirit again."

Cons: "Spirit will not be in business very much longer if they continue to have such disdain for their passengers. Both coming and going to and from Denver, which I have done at least a dozen times in the past two years (but never with Spirit) couldn't have been worse."
