Friendly and kind captain and crew

I was very very sick, so after the 3 hours delay I asked to stay in Lisbon and be sending next day to continue my journey home ... Surprisingly TAP told me that they could pay the hotel in Newark, but not in Lisbon.. Go figure! Called TAP Customer Service 4 times, 2 from Lisbon 2 from Newark... all cases more than 1 hour wait... AND THEY NEVER EVER ANSWERED!?!?!

I didnt like the fact that the chairs are so close together. When passenger wanted to incline their chairs it would be too far back to be comfortable for the person behind. And to sit on the plane for a long fight in this uncomfortable position is not good. They need to make sure all chairs a fixed and now obstructing passengers comfortable manner

Our flight was delayed by three hours due to “technical problems“. We were never updated during the weight and when we were told that the flight was canceled everyone was told to go back to the ticketing area to pick up their luggage and to find other options. When we were almost halfway there we were told to turn around and that the flight in fact was not canceled. The food was mediocre at best in the service on the plane was in adequate. They were understaffed and staff to peer to be stressed and fatigued. The seats were small and cramped and not well padded in the economy section. We are going to be flying on Lufthansa in the spring and will hope that their services are better than what we experienced on Austrian air.

We ended up being rebooked from Austria near to Egyptian air on route to Cairo. This was the best thing that could’ve happened as Austrian air was inferior. Egyptian error on the other hand had very gracious staff, very comfortable seating, and while the food was average it was better than Austrian air

The entertainment for an international flight (9 hours) was horrendous. The tiny TVs were actually fuzzy and it is set up so that you cannot actually choose your movie. It is like watching TV where you may tune in to a movie 20 minutes into it playing instead of starting whatever movie you want from the beginning. To make matters worse, there was no plug-in in case you wanted to watch entertainment of your own on phone/iPad.

Our flight from BLR to FRA got cancelled because of bad weather. The agent at the check in desk immediately put us on an alternate AIr France flight via CDG to LAX, which left an hour before our FRA flight. The service on the flight was excellent. But we are most thankful for the quick re-booking on a different alternative, ensuring no hiccup. We will only be flying Lufthansa from now on, and recommending Lufthansa to all friends and colleagues.
