Cons: "The racist OKC TSA. The line was moving along and the TSA agent sitting behind the podium checking boarding passes put his hand up and asked me to wait there. There weren't that many people in the lines, so I was wondering why. His partner at the other podium watched him quizzically, as did I, as he paced left and right, looking at nothing then sat back down again and stared at nothing. All the while the line for screening grew smaller and smaller. The other agent asked him, "what are you doing?" He responded by saying, "You said you were getting THEM all." I didn't understand, but clearly there was some subtext that I was not privy to. She shook her head and said, come up here sweetie. Then she managed to do what he obviously couldn't do: his job. Then my girlfriend and I proceeded to be profiled and had our bags searched. If I didn't have to be in OKC I would avoid that airport like the plague. Unprofessional."

I begged not to have to check because I was flying to Nicaragua and was worried my only bag would get lost. I was right -- it did not arrive in Nicaragua until the next day. We sat on runway for 45 minutes before departure so United could fix BOTH sets of the plane's wings lights. Why did they not discover that at any time BEFORE we all boarded or while we were boarding -- NOT first when deciding to pull away from gate. Delay caused many to miss connections."

Cons: "When we checked in at the counter they did not inform us about carry-on charges. Most airlines don't charge fees for carry-ons, but frontier does. We had to pay $60 each for small carry-on at the gate. This practice is unfair to people who are not familiar with cheap airline business models. They should be more transparent about their fees on the ticket and at the counter. This cheap airline is so cheap that they couldn't hire enough staffs at the DCA gate. There's only one staff checking in the tickets at the gate and we had to wait until everyone went into the plane to pay for our $60 check in fees."

No peanuts or crackers even! I'll never take Frontier again...... Southwest or United ONLY!!!! At least what you pay is what you pay and you don't get dinged for every additional step you take!"

I have been travelling for many, many years. This had never ever happened to me before. That should never happen to anyone."

I have never given such a huge amount for baggage. It makes very senseless to charge for baggages because if your are providing us the service for transportation, than baggages is must with anyone travelling, obviously. In other words, because its a must for anyone travelling, you are simply taking advantage. Anyhow the over all service was quite impressive and its been one of my best lifetime travel. Hope to travel again from your airline and see any changes in the baggageing allowances. Thankyou soo much. Have a nice day."

I hope you don't do the same on his way back on Saturday. The flight was delayed for over 2 hrs!"

I informed the counter person that I had accidentally paid ahead for two bags to take on boarding but decided not to take & could I get refunded. I was told "you'll have to take that up with customer service because we don't give credits or refunds." I would think that the counter staff are customer service as well and could verify the number of items I had with me to credit me. I felt cheated out of my money."

Cons: "I was at the airport early but couldn't drop bag because there was no staff. By the time the ticket counter was staffed they had a huge line just to drop bags. Took 45 min just to check 1 bag and was charged $75 because it weighed 48 lbs. staff unfriendly. We sat on plane for almost an hour past the time we were to take off waiting for plane manifest to be delivered and then they had to fuel the plane. Cramped flight and we landed well past our arrival time due time and then had more than an hour wait for luggage due to only one baggage carousel being used for three spirit airlines. Such a bad experience, I'm not even using my return ticket. I booked a separate one way ticket to return on Southwest Airlines. I'm not flying Spirit again. 2nd try using them , both experiences bad."
