Starting on January 26, all travelers (including US citizens and transit passenger) must present a negative COVID-19 viral or antigen test result issued 72 hours prior to departure or have an evidence of having contracted and recovered from COVID-19 prior to boarding the plane.
US citizens and permanent residents arriving from the UK must present a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test result issued within 72 hours prior to departure.
Travelers returning to the US are advised to stay home as much as possible, avoid being around people and consider getting tested for COVID-19 after returning from travel and participated in higher risk activities.

This was a stressful element as there was no other flight that could make me arrive on time. After waiting over an hour for repairs they realized they needed a new air craft. This further delayed the flight. Not only was the flight extremely delayed at this pint but throughout the waiting time we were given very little information and were constantly told they couldn't give us an approximate time of departure. This was extremely rude and makes the experience of dealing with a delay even worse. I would suggest giving us more information about what is happening. Saying we don't know when the flight will leave is just unacceptable. To make matters even worse after we were finally boarded we had to wait an additional 40 minutes sitting inside the plane while they boarded refreshments! I know there are delays in flights but this same thing happened to my flight on my way to Paris and it caused me to miss my international connection and had to be re-routed."

Cons: "When I booked my flight, I used Kayac like I always have in the past. To begin with, I selected several flights that were listed, only to have it tell me that this flight is no longer offered, which I assume is engineered to get me to select a more expensive flight. Once I finally found a flight that was still available, I selected it and began the process of providing information and selecting seat assignments. On 2 of the 4 legs of the round trip, there were no more seats available except for upgrade seats, which resulted in an extra $100.00+ in charges. Then when I finished the transaction, I noticed an extra $200.00 charge added. End result was that I ended up paying over double what I would normally pay for this same round trip that I have made many many times. I feel, no I know, that some customer relations person will look at this comment and reply with a pre-generated response apologizing and hoping I have a better experience in the future and thank me for using Kayac. Big companies like yours look at one customer as no big deal. I'm a Physician and have the ability to reach out to multitudes. I'm going to make it my mission in life to reach out to as many people as I can through word of mouth, signs in my office, Internet and social media to let them know about the deplorable practices of your company."

The AA staff was aware the plane had mech issues and decided to board us anyways. After 45 mins of sitting and waiting around in our seats, the pilot preceded to ask us to deplane the aircraft. AA gave us a lousy food voucher and booked us on the next available flight to Miami which wasn't until 1145pm! AA crew/staff handled the situation in a disappointing manner. The AA crew at the gate spoke in a condescending manner as if were young kids! I was appalled by that! I will not be flying AA anytime soon!"

Cons: "My original flight was cancelled so my group was bumped to an earlier flight. However, when we arrived at th airport at 6 am, it turned out that the rest of my group was on that flight but that my ticket was cancelled entirely, and I couldn't get on the new plane because it was oversold-- meaning that, without any warning, I was stranded at the airport in DC at 6 am with not only single available flight that would get me to Indiana in time for work. I ended up having to take a train to Baltimore to catch a flight from there to NC to connect to Indiana- but then that flight was delayed for 2 hours so I missed my connecting flight. By the time I finally arrived in Indiana I was 6 hours late to work. There was no reimbursement for the additional travel expenses, and not even an apology. Then flying back the next day, they cancelled our flight again and we had to rent a van and drive back overnight from Indiana (15 hours drive). I have never had such a miserable travel experience with any other airline."

Cons: "Our flight was delayed due to bad weather in Phoenix. The agents when we landed in Phoenix were remarkably unhelpful when it came to rebooking our flight. When I finally got LA after flying into another airport instead of my original destination, it was ridiculously painful to file a claim to get my bag which had gone to LAx. After filing the claiM I waited several Hours then decided to call And that's when I realized they hadn't even scheduled my bag for delivery though I was told that spas already taken care of. I had to go get my bag myself."

Cons: "This new plane of American Airlines had extended legroom. However, they have narrowed the seats, made the armrests unretractable, and you can not recline your seat. So, although the legroom is enhanced, you are "locked into" a rather straight up sitting oosition with no ability to rotate a bit side to side. I can't imagine how a slightly overweight person could negotiate this. For a 2.5 hr flight, I was very uncomfortable within 15 minutes"

Each plane I was on was smaller than the last. And the second plane sounded as though it was about to fall apart. I never received any explanation as to why my original flight was canceled. Nobody offered any vouchers or compensation for the immense inconvenience. I will never fly American /American Eagle again."

Complete shambles with later boarders running up and down the aisle trying to fit their carry-ons into overhead lockers. Solution: Enforce one item only; Apply free checked items at the gate early. Apply a fee for items that don't fit and were not offered up for checking."

Frontier representative would not budge on their fee of $99 for a cancellation fee. We arrived after 1 am, therefore agency where I had reserved auto was closed, so I had to book a hotel close to airport. I have flown with Frontier a few times, and each time there has been delays of 30-90 minutes. This has resulted in major inconveniences, missed appointments and some unsafe conditions."

Didn't get a chance to experience paying for water onboard, as the entire flight was cancelled. Thanks to their lack of connection to other airlines, they couldn't get us where we were going prior to our RETURN date. So our lodging, car rental, etc all were completely wasted, at our expense - no vacation, but still had to pay for it. "Nothing we can do, sorry, it's the weather..." Really?! Weather explains a delay, not torpedoing the entire vacation. This airline is the absolute pits."

When I tried to call Frontier, all their lines were busy and I kept getting disconnected due to the high volume...wasn't even put on hold. When I tried booking a flight online for the next day, it said all the flights were full. During all this chaos, no one told us how or wahere we were supposed to retrieve our luggage, what options we had...NOTHING!!! We even asked the ticketing personnel to announce where people could retrieve their luggage...their response was "I guess we could do that"...but they never did! We ended up booking a last minute flight on another airline that cost us a ton of money. So, while Fromtier bills themselves as a low cost airline, one glitch and they fall apart on the service side and you end up paying A LOT more. Also, watch out for all the extra fees they charge you. Their initial price looks great, but I had to pay $30 for a carry-on bag! Had to pay additional money for a seat in coach! They nickel and dime you to death and it ends up costing the same as the other full price carriers. BUYER BEWARE!!!"

Comfort was as expected. Boarding was pretty smooth. (But de-boarding and re-boarding was a pretty disruptive fiasco.)"

Unfortunately, my bag did not fit however; I was able to place my bag under the seat in front of me for the entire flight. Previously in November I had to pay an additional $75 for my checked bag being 4 lbs overweight. That is highway robbery, I could have checked in another bag for less than that. I will no longer fly Frontier because I am extremely dissatisfied with their service."

We managed to keep her sitting down and quiet tge majority of the flight. What exactly to they expect from a 25 month old toddler? Also we should have been made aware that the checked bag fee would go up if not booked with our ticket. A 199# increase is substantial."

When it was time to print my boarding pass, there were extra and excessive fees that other airlines don't charge and weren't disclosed at booking. Frontier charges a "seat fee" just for selecting a seat for the flight. They charge a "carry on" fee for a carry on bag. When added to the booking fare, the total cost exceeded what I would have paid on another airline. I feel tricked and deceived. I would not use Frontier again unless they were the only provider."

But, there are some instances which are not dependent to the price/money like politeness of the flight attendant/employees or responsiveness of the boarding member. On the flight day, me and the other fellow traveler were waiting for the boarding but the gate was closed and no body was standing at the front of the boarding desk. Also, there was no LCD screen to show that this gate is assigned for the Houston or any other places. The time was passed from the original boarding time and we were still waiting for the boarding member. Accidentally, I saw a airport employee and ask him that this is the gate assigned to the IAH Houston? And he responded: "Oh no, the gate is changed!" Thus, I ran from the former gate to the new assigned gate. But I saw that the people are still waiting for the boarding member at the front desk. There was a 25min delay and all the people were standing and waiting for that lady to come. At the end, since she was alone and she couldn't handle all the people, she didn't check the boarding zone. It is important to be mentioned that I received the changing of the gate E-mail very late just I was entering the airplane! In the airplane, the flight attendant were not friendly. They didn't help the old people to entering the airplane or putting their luggage at the top cases. During the flight, they were just sitting and playing with their mobiles! Apart from this issues, the worst scenario happened in the baggage claim. When all the people were waiting about 30mins for delivery of the baggage. At the end, it was so disappointing to see one my baggage is broken and its handle bar was detached that I couldn't move it easily to the outside of the airport. I reported the issue to the Spirit baggage claim and that employee was not friendly either and she didn't even apologize! Therefore, I am currently totally disappointed about the Spirit because as I mentioned there are some instances which are not dependent to the price/money. Even cheap airlines should provide highly respected treatment to their customers."

Cramped flight and we landed well past our arrival time due time and then had more than an hour wait for luggage due to only one baggage carousel being used for three spirit airlines. Such a bad experience, I'm not even using my return ticket. I booked a separate one way ticket to return on Southwest Airlines. I'm not flying Spirit again. 2nd try using them , both experiences bad."
