Flight was delayed 45 minutes because a flight attendant was running late and then to top it off, at the end of. The flight the attendants blocked anyone fromaim cabin from leaving until all of first class had departed, even when no one was coming they still Blocked it off. This is a practice I have never seen on delta and haven't seen in aviation in almost 20 years in the US"

We were told that in Europe passports cannot expire within 3 months of your departure. However, Delta never let us know about this rule until we literally were boarding the plane. How they could not make us aware of this until we were boarding the airplane is unbelievable and unacceptable. This has ruined our vacation which has been in planning for the last six months."

I had to spent one hour to fit this information to be able to check in.? It was an international flight but it was treated like a domestic flight. We were not even offered the curtesy snake for a domestic flight by unfriendly stewards apparently unhappyted with her job. Apparanty all American carrier staffs has no respect for customers. It is not only s united problem. Curtesy and respects goes both ways. They need to be retrained in public relation."

They finally showed up, but didn't mention that we'd be delayed (which I eventually found out thanks to a KAYAK alert). Kept telling us the flight would be 62 minutes, but it ended up taking forever. Probably not Allegiant's fault, but they acted like they wanted to hide the fact, rather than own up to it and apologize for the inconvenience as if they valued all of us as passengers."

They delay flights regularly but there’s never any additional information...they just send you a text or email saying your flight is delayed, never tell you why, but they want you at the gate at the regular time...so you sit there for hours with No further communication and the gate agents never come to the gate to let you know what’s going on or what to expect because corporate has gotten stingy with regard to compensating folks even when THEY are to blame for the delay. Two trips in a row, two weeks apart, they’ve done the same thing to us. I appreciate the low fares, but I’ve just about decided I’d rather pay more for good customer service because theirs just sucks."

Cons: "Everything about Aligiant is horrible. Service, attitude, even the pilots can’t land smoothly. As a diabetic, they don’t even give you water withiit paying for it. Had my wallet in my checked bag and almost had a health issue."

Cons: "It was myself, my wife, and our 18 month old son. The trip was a complete disaster. The first delay was from 12 noon to 7:30 pm because the plane was unavailable. We left the airport and returned at 6 pm for the 7:30 pm departure. The plane was "available." We checked our bags, found our way to the gate, and eventually boarded "ontime." Instead of taking off, however, we sat on board the plane at the gate for 2 hours as work was being done. The work was first called "maintenance," then "a small error code." The captain teased us by saying "folks, just a few more minutes and we should be departing." The crew nourished us with a dixie sized cups of water and Chex mix. Then finally the airline gave up and deplaned everyone. Once deplaned, it was explained to us that they couldn't clear the error code, so they couldn't use that plane. But there was another plane coming from Las Vegas to use so that we could expect a departure around 12 midnight. 12 midnight rolls around. Nothing. 12:30 am. 1 am. Finally, a plane arrives. But then the airline holds us up yet again - turns out we can't depart after all because the arriving airport shuts down at 2 am. Gee, they didn't know that before making us wait another 3 hours??? Now they're offering a refund to anybody who wants one, as well as a hotel for the night and the promise of a flight at 2:30 pm the following day. At this point, many of us are looking up alternative flights to Eugene and even Portland. A $1,000 extra for us. We're not sure whether we can trust Allegiant to have an actual plane ready to go the next day. And we're too tired at that point to even ask why the next flight would be at 2:30 pm rather than first thing in the morning. So finally we line up to get a hotel voucher and find our way to the hotel. It takes over an hour to checkin at the hotel because it's the middle of the night and 150 people just showed up to checkin. We finally get to our room at about 3:30 am. I'm amazed at how well our toddler held up sitting on an airplane for 2 hours, sitting at the airport for about 6 hours, and waiting to fall asleep all night. We eventually made it back to the airport the following afternoon and, praise the lord, made it to our destination. Allegiant - NEVER AGAIN!"

Cons: "flight was late because of a "valve issue" in terminal, then on the plane pilot tells us its a computer issue and just needed to "reboot" plane computer because it's a computer with wings. Not sure if either of those reasons were true."

Friend of ours seat was switched also and instead of him sitting next to his wife he sat next to a person who did not have an assigned seat he was extremely large and he was hanging off The seat into the aisle I noticed an empty seat and had to ask the stewardess if he could switch seats instead of the stewardess offering on her own. The flight out was delayed approximately one hour various mechanics coming on and off plane until finally we were able to leave."

I fly this route frequently and Allegiant has a terrible problem with on-time flights and communications with passengers waiting for their flights. I am not certain what the problem is, but it is a significant issue with them. Captain was "bubbly" and upbeat without properly managing the passengers' expectations. Bad public relations."

Once I finally got to Vegas, my bags were lost. And on the flight back, I had to go back out just to get my bags on the layover flight and check them in again (PAY FOR THEM AGAIN TOO). Just a really horrible experience. I will never book Frontier again. It was miserable."

Cons: "I was traveling with a friend and the morning of our flight to return home we got an email saying that they had to switch to a smaller aircraft and that not everyone would get a seat. When we arrived they said the people that checked in the earlier would get seats and the ones that were towards the last to check in did not have seats. They told us that they would give us a $500 voucher to could only be used with Frontier flights and that we can get on their next flight 6 DAYS LATER. Also the voucher has to be used only on one trip and can not be put towards luggage or anything else. They would not compensate us for stay or food for that week. Which meant that we would spend more money by staying. They had rude employees that’s made it sound like it was our fault that we did not check in before everyone else. It should not matter when I check in when I have already bought a seat and shoes up on time. We were 2 out of 17 people that were not given seats. They then said that we should just rent a car and drive 13 hours home. I seriously would not recommend booking with this airline."

Forget trying to use a laptop or even a tablet to work. They charge for everything and now ask you to tip your flight attendant for handing you a water that costs $3.00. Will avoid Frontier at all costs in the future. Seats are thin, hard and so close together. No room between seats. Seats do not recline unless you are in emergency exit room. If you want to select your seat during check-in, they charge you extra. Even for a seat in the last row on the plane was an extra $5 just to select it. Seats closer to the front were an extra $25, but these are not better seats or offer more room, just the ability to get off the plane faster after landing. Carry on baggage cost extra and checked bags are $40. After paying for baggage, seats, a water on a round trip, the low cost turned out to be more expensive than another carrier with seats that are more comfortable and gave you more room between seats, entertainment and a free soft drink or water."

Pros: "We could not print our boarding passes and the woman at the desk was very helpful. She also worked out the best way with our checked and carry on luggage. We liked not being held up by everyone retrieving so much stuff in the overhead compartments."

Pros: "It flew me there, nice landing."
Cons: "They took an hr to deliver luggage, they charge more to carry on than to pass thru, seats thin and flimsy, hidden charges for everything, even water, seats don't recline an inch. Cramped, uncomfortable."

Pros: "As you all may have guessed, Frontier Airlines is absolute garbage to fly with. Not only do you pay an astronomical amount to fly your bags, there are no in flight refreshments and the service is heinous. Even when I had a THREE hour delay that then put me getting home at 1 in the morning, not a single apology was said by staff, no one was even in the gate to talk to those who had connecting flights. I will never fly frontier again even though it is the only airline that flies direct to Denver. I would rather sit 12 hours on a Southwest flight than ever have to talk to Frontier employee again."

Cons: "First and last time flying Frontier. The flight from Memphis to Denver was worst flying experience ever. We were delayed 2+ hours which no one is ever happy about. However, I have NEVER experienced a crew member take this out on the passengers. She was snippy and rude to EVERYONE, in person and over the PA. She refused my husband a cup of water because he was trying to reuse a cup (he got water for me so I could take medicine when we reached altitude). She told him he would have to wait until everyone had water first before he could have seconds and refused to hear his explanation. The crew in general seemed to think it was ok to prod us on like cattle to make up for lost time. I overheard another passenger call her Cruella Deville. On the return flight (on time and pleasant crew) the crew informed us they were the cleaners at the end of the flight and asked several times for help in this endeavor."

Pros: "Fast and friendly staff"
Cons: "Im 6'3" it was extremely difficult to be comfortable. At no point could i keep my legs in my area."

Pros: "This is supposed to be a lower cost airline but by the time you add in the luggage fee (you pay extra for both a carry on and checked bag) it amounts to the same cost as other higher priced flights. There is no entertainment or snacks included, although sometimes these can be purchased on board. The flight itself was good, on time departure, even arriving slightly early. But we sat on the tarmac waiting for a gate for quite a long time (low cost, low priority) by the time we got off, connections were missed or very tight."
Cons: "On time. Boarding was a smooth process, although could be improved."

Pros: "Convenient flights."
Cons: "Extremely cramped seats. Being nickel and dimed to death: Paying for reserving crappy seats, paying for a carry on."

Pros: "You have to buy everything on the cart, but the Pear cider that you can only get in Denver was unbelievably good!! The staff was very nice."
Cons: "No wifi, and the tray tables are tiny."

Pros: "The crew seemed concerned that I was comfortable and familiar with safety features of the aircraft and other important items."
Cons: "Space on the aircraft is limited. Seats are quite small."

Cons: "Every plane I was on, from Memphis to Denver, Denver to San Diego and the return flight back home, every single plane was delayed. I lost so much time being stuck in an airport that could have been spent with my grieving family even if I didn't have a grieving family, this was unacceptable. There was one instance where the plane was delayed (of course) and they changed gates at the last min without making an announcement or letting anyone that was waiting at the gate know! The Captain and Flight attendants just started moving to another location! Not only will I never fly with Frontier again, I will actively tell everyone I know that flies to never fly with Frontier not just once, but every time I hear the word airplane. In the positive section I mentioned that the flight attendants were good with letting us know what is going on, well the Captain is the one that is supposed to be the one letting us know what is going on, not the flight attendants. Whatever Frontier has got going on, seems like it is overwhelming. I will never fly with them again."

Pros: "On time"
Cons: "The new seats are uncomfortable. About 1/4" padding on the back which does not recline anymore. The serving tray is about 10" x 6" and will hold a cup of coffee for which you pay $1.99. You also pay for each bag and your seat."

Pros: "Did not crash."
Cons: "Flight was delayed. And we had to hover over Denver for an extra hour waiting to land. So I was several hours late for my scheduled arrival. Also, the new carry on bag sizes & fees were rather ridiculous. Other than that the flight was fine."

Pros: "It was a direct flight."
Cons: "I didn't like the baggage prices. Especially, when Delta doesn't charge you for baggage and the prices are off by $20, but after you check a bag you spent more money at Frontier. I didn't like the fact we sat and waited for over a hour for a few passengers. I've never heard of any airline doing that and I was late for my best friends wedding that I was the best man in. Yeah the bride was mad at me all night because I wasn't there when they walked down the aisle. Thank you Frontier."

Cons: "No room on the flight. Seats were hard as a rock. But worst of all, nobody that flew from San Francisco originally recieved their bags. They could not tell us where they were and we are still waiting."

Pros: "AMAZING rates"
Cons: "no complimentary food or drink offered. incredibly thin and uncomfortable seats."

Pros: "I thought the seats were more comfortable than Spirit jets."
Cons: "due to the length of the flight, no cabin service was offered, but I did ask for coffee and it was provided. Great overall experience"

Cons: "Seats are smaller than normal & not as comfortable as other airlines. I understand cost savings, but not even offering peanuts on 2 hour flights is really skimping."

Cons: "When boarding my connecting flight, I was told I had to pay 60 dollars for my carry-on bag. If this was required, why was I not asked to pay this fee in San Francisco when I checked in. I told them I had a carry-on. The seating is the worst I have ever had on any flight. If you needed a drink of water, it cost 2 dollars for a small cup. This is the poorest service I have received from any airline. Will never fly with Frontier again and am telling all my friends how horrible the flights are. Not worth using!!!!!"

I was charged for a seat twice due to a lay over. $70 for a seat that would go back slightly and had a decent amount of leg room. $35 to check a bag, carry on cost more. My inexpensive ticket turned out to cost me an extra $140 dollars"
