Finally found out the fueling paperwork was missing. This was after being forced to gate check bag in group 6 (and 7,8,9) Then luggage offload in Charlotte took forever, and then was on the wrong belt. Baggage staff in CLT were clueless."

American Airlines should train the staff to be more courteous and not to ask that many questions ..it feels like you where in Siberia.."

I ended up spending SEVEN hours in Phoenix waiting for a different flight to take me back to Tampa. The least AA could do is offer to pay for my supper or even a snack ANYTHING would've been nice. It's called customer service. I understand things happen that are out of our control, I also understand what it is to help make people whole or happy."

Did not know AA operated flights receive priority at the airports over their inferior non-AA operated "partners". Will look for alternatives to AA in the future. Flight too short for a drink! No lodging because not their fault! Okay, storm not their fault, faulty policy is!"

Cons: "First flight was delayed. Delay not related to weather. American refused to provide hotel. the provided hotel and meal voucher for a fellow traveler on same flight who missed his connection. I was told he was accommodated because he is priority. When asked how I become priority I was told "he spends more money and flies more often." To me that means as a customer I am not a priority to American Airlines."

Cons: "Why would United use a 757 when they know that if the plane is full and there is a strong headwind that the fuel capacity won't get them to their destination! Of course this happened to me. We were diverted to Newfoundland to refuel (after spending 3 hours sitting on the tarmac while the captain arranged to redirect). THEN... the flight crew had been working too long and they had to send another crew which took 4 extra hours. 17 hours from Lisbon to Newark is unacceptable! It could have all been avoided with a larger plane."

I just flew Alaska, delta, American,d Lufthansa recently and none of those airlines were as bad. Like a sardine can. I will avoid United at Ll costs."

Then it takes two plus hours to get the plane here unload and refuel and rest. So I missed my connecting flight to Redding. Which meant I had to fly to Sacramento. Then I had a pleasant 3 hour drive on I-5 (can you sense my sarcasm?!) didn’t reach my destination until 5 in the FREAKING morning. Around 8 HOURS LATE TO MY DESTINATION"

Pros: "The crew was fun, courteous, and very helpful. The complimentary refreshments were slightly better than those offered by most airlines."

The cabin during the flight was extremely cold, and the attendants finally gave my wife a blanket which was for first-class only because she was miserable. Also, the in-flight entertainment through their wi-if onboard was down for “maintenance” the entire trip."

Cons: "The whole flight seemed like a sales pitch. Pay to upgrade to our empty seats with a little more legroom. Pay to watch TV cross country (Delta, American, and all others are included). They did have more sales pitches on the screen for 6 hours though. Pay for snacks. Not even peanuts or pretzels anymore. They do give you a disgusting wafer. Flew back on Delta and didn't see any of this. Between this and their recent beating up of customers, no more United for me."

Cons: "Flight was delayed approx 7-8 times, 7.5 hrs. I arrived at 7:15 am for a 9:20am flight to find that it was delayed. Wasn't notified before leaving home of delay. Was given a 2 food vouchers but very late, 30 mins before boarding time. Paid for two meals already by then. My Friday to Monday trip to see my family was shortened by almost a day. I hadn’t seen them for 3 years. Don't know when I'll be able to see them next. Not happy..."

Cons: "I HATED that our flight was delayed. Not even delayed once or twice, but a total of 6 times?! thats just ridiculous. Sitting in the airport for over 6 hours should NEVER be tolerated."

Cons: "On trip to medford my lugguage got left in san fransisco and was never delivered to me so i went back to airport and it was just sitting there, no one there to give it to me so i had to look for someone to open room so i could get it. Then From medford to san fransisco There was no explanation cancellation, no one at counter for hours to figure out something else, no apology for inconvience, no vouchers for hotel or food since i had to stay at one since flight left so early in am. I had less then 10 mins to get from medford plane to denver plane. Thats running and up 2 flights of stairs and getting to door in nick of time. I missed a day of work and basically unless an emergency i wont fly united again."

Cons: "I'm usually a patient person, but my flight was supposed to leave at 525am and didn't leave until 730. This was the first flight in the morning. We boarded, waiting 30 minutes on the plane, they told us to get off because there were computer issues. Why wasn't that checked before everybody was boarded? Once we got on the plane we had to wait another 30 minutes for the crew to get someone's luggage from under the plane. Why wasn't that done while the computer was getting fixed? I didn't get to Denver until 1040am missed my flight and didn't get to get on my connection until 500pm. In the meantime I called to get on a different flight at 1, but the guy on the phone didn't actually book me a seat. The gate people weren't very nice."

Cons: "Male flight attendant was extremely rude. I was asleep when the food was being served and politely asked for a tray of food once I woke up. Fight attendant that I asked was at the time collecting trash and snapped back saying that he had to finish what he was doing first. After about 10 min the lady attendant walked by so I simply mentioned that I was waiting for my food in case he had forgotten or was busy. She asked if I had mentioned it to the man attendant and I told her that I had and that I was simply waiting. She proceeded to go to him (not sure what she told him), but he later came by and angrily handed me my tray of food and annoyingly explained that he had to finish handing the trash In order to then handle my food. I told him that I completely understood, and he AGAIN snapped back saying "oh really? Because I heard you were complaining!" And walked away. The rest of the flight he proceeded to ignore me. I had been nothing but polite to him. The lady across the isle was looking his way and the man next to me made a comment to me that I had done nothing wrong and mentioned he he noticed how rude the attendant was to me. That even if I HAD complained, he was in no place to confront a customer about it. Regardless, I hadn't even complained one bit."

Pros: "It was a very well ran flight, both fights were what you would expect from an airline service. Overall satisfied."

Then finally got a connecting flight into Virginia and had to drive 2 hours to get my car from Baltimore. Never flying United again."
