Pros: "I had never traveled with Delta until my trip to Mexico. I was most impressed with the great service I received on my way to Mexico: from Atlanta to Guadalajara, Guadalajara to CDMX, and, at the end of my stay, from CDMX to Atlanta. I cannot say the same about the experience within Continental USA."
Cons: "I perceived a negative difference in all aspects during my flight going to Mexico, from Philadelphia to Atlanta, and coming back, from Atlanta to Philadelphia."

Cons: "I never received anything about my booking. I went the airport Wednesday morning not knowing if I’d actually fly out. I only had on my Kayak app a trip itinerary. Thankfully I did. In Atlanta I added my Skymiles # to my trip. Upon arrival in Mexico I rec’d a push from Delta about my trip with my Record Locator. Flying home was to depart at 8am. When I rec’d my boarding pass it stated 8:55am. While waiting at my gate Delta sent me a text at 7:30am that my flight would be leaving at 8am. That confused me. Needless to say I was suppose to arrive CVG at 3:49pm, but instead was booked on a flight departing Atlanta at 4:30pm. Plans at home had to changed for Friday evening as I was not arriving at mid-afternoon. Needless to say I’ll probably not book thru Kayak anymore."

Also delays because of equipment problems."

Pros: "Since I am a Silver Medallion Skymiles member, I asked about an upgrade. All seats in First Class were taken, but the agent at the gate seated me in a seat in the front of coach with more legroom (comfort plus? I don't know what they call it). That was great!"

Cons: "The WestJet BASIC fare restrictions are very anti-customer centric. I know the fare is about price only. However, prior to the change the airfares were the same, but the restrictions, like missed flights were less penalizing. This fare structure is a WestJet - Win; Customer - Lose."

Cons: "When our flights were delayed then changed we were left with no options other then being left with a 19 hr layover in Vancouver and missing the wedding. No apologies or vouchers offered. Air Canada gave $200 for a two hour delay to our friends, we were screwed over and offered nothing. So disappointed. We ended up flying to Vegas and renting a car and driving through the night to be on time. So sad!!"

I had personal issues ongoing which resulted in a flight change, and having to go back to security multiple times, which would have all been easier if I had been told that I didn't have to run like a mad woman through the airport as the flight was already determined to be significantly delayed. West Jet tried......they just don't see to be able to know anything."

Cons: "Food choice a bit limited - especially the free offering. In-flight entertainment is only available from the WestJet app to view on your own device - you need to know this before you board - otherwise you are not able to access any of the movies etc."

Cons: "After paying for an upgrade on seating, I found a dog as my neighbour. I am allergic to dogs but was told to sit down and when plane was full I may find another seat. I sat in my original seat in 14F for the trip so the $60.00 upgrade was wasted and told it is not refundable"

Whilst in Mexico we were informed of a change in flight plan obligating is to briefly overnight in Calgary at significant experience and discomfort thus completely negating the choice of booking this particular flight"

I had gone through many hoops to make the carry on happen ( all cosmetics in little containers, restricted space overall) and then, just because I was in Zone three and all the spaces were taken, I had to hand in my suitcase. Suggestion: could the above space be reserved for the passengers who sit right underneath?"

Must have a phone or tablet to watch movies unless you pay to rent one - smaller screens and more awkward to watch comfortably. Only snacks provided but no actual meal as part of your ticket. Seems alot of amenities cut back to save money"

Cons: "I was able to download the WestJet Connect app on my phone which gives you access to tv shows and movies to watch on your own device during the flight. The app was free and easy to use and there was a decent selection. However, the wifi on board is not free so even though you could watch the tv show/movie - the sound did not work unless you paid for it. There are many other airlines that offers everything for free - it would have been a more pleasant if we were able to actually utilize the service."
