Everything I had was taken out of my luggage, this had to happen during check in the Mexico airport. I have tried contacting Aeromexico by phone multiple times and no one has been able to help, I finally spoke with a representative who advised to email amluggage@aeromexico.com and to wait 72 hrs, have done this twice with no response. This is going on two weeks now and have not been able to resolve my issue!"

Cons: "A flight attendant put me on the spot, holding up a line of people on the plane, asking me to switch from a window seat to a middle to accommodate other passengers only to find out the reason being that the other passengers took up more than his/her one seat. I was elbowed the entire flights, couldn't even put the arm rest down , and had to rest my elbows on my hips to eat or drink anything. I understand it is not up to the crew to manager passenger behavior but the only reason I was put in that situation was due to the airline staff. I was extremely uncomfortable and after traveling for over 20 hours I was livid with how I was treated just because I am a small caucasian female."

And there were only 4 movies in the entertainment section and nothing else. No TV series or any other videos. The crew was courteous. That was the only good thing about the flight. Highly disappointed."

Cons: "The servers were a bit rude--they spilled juice on me--but, to be fair, I was failing to speak spanish, which is also very rude. The only tough thing about this flight was that we changed gates about 4 times, then got switched to a very distant gate at the ass-end of the terminal (literally, the lights were flickering. It was eerie.) THEN we had to take a bus out onto the tarmack to get onto the plane. But that's a small inconvenience considering we travelled from Mexico City to JFK in like 5 hours."

Cons: "By unnafortunadly circunstances my family and i lost the first flight from guatemala to mexico city, and the atention service agent didn´t care about our situation so he gives us just one option and it was pay for next fly to mexico, we told him that it wasn´t correct because we had been tried so hard to get the fligth, the fact was that where no more option and we paid for the next fligth. The people working for aeromexico should be more prepared to attend the costumer, i think they would be help us instead of force us to pay as the last chance that we had. Sorry about my bad english, i hope this works for you."

I tried to call TWICE to make sure that I could change dietary preferences because I have food allergies and I was told both times that I was unable to. This is not fair for the price paid for flights. I am very unhappy with the fact that there was food served onboard and that, when I tried to tell the airline what I could and could not eat, that they did not change my preferences or even give me the option."

Cons: "Was kicked off my flight for some reason. It was not explained to me very well, but I gathered it was from another plane earlier in the day that was cancelled. I don't know how I was selected to be kicked off. The poor communication was very annoying. I stood at the counter for 45 minutes after the airline personnel took my STB ticket, and didn't tell me what was going on. Would have been a LOT more pleasant of they just told me the flight was full, and my name would be called if I was on the flight. Then I could at least sit down, instead of standing there for 45 minutes."

Cons: "Basically I had 4h of connection in Mexico City and even so Aeromexico made me miss the flight to extort money. After arriving in Mexico City Took 1.5 hours to get the bags. Then another 0.5 h for re-inspection. After 2h they still had not set the boarding gate so I went to the international boarding area. As I was close the gates 30 min before boarding I decided to look for my gate and to my surprise they changed to the national boarding on the opposite side where it should be. I arrived at the gate 15 min before the scheduled departure time and the plane had already taken off without announcing my name! From that moment Aeromexico totally abandoned me! Basically the only solution they offered me was to buy a new ticket for Houston for $ 1,400.00 because there was no place on any flight! I missed my work day, my US phone did not work in Mexico City and I thought I had to sleep at the airport! Thank goodness the airport's consumer protection staff helped me a lot. They somehow managed an Aeromexico flight on the same day with no additional cost. The flight I got there were 4 empty seats and they were trying to charge me $1,400. Shame on you Aeromexico."

Cons: "I had purchased a ticket to fly from Puerto Escondido to Mexico City on Thursday, November 24. When I arrived at the airport, I came to an airport that was "shutdown". According to a few people I spoke to, it was because of a protest. I was not emailed or notified that I was wasting my time and money trying getting to an airport that wasn't flying out any planes that day. I was very distraught and disappointed because I am a foreigner and there was no representative front the airport or airline that this was happening and what's are the next steps I should take to get on the next plane back to United States. I spent hours and hours calling Aeromar about rebooking my flight for tomorrow so I can get out of this city. It was a nightmare on the phone because it was like the employees were trained not to help. I was told it wasn't their fault, and I need to call aero Mexico to get this straightened out. Not one employee from the many I spoke to consistently throughout the day tried to rebook my flight. They wanted me to pay for another flight which is absolutely ridiculous. I missed my flight because of some protest, something not in my control, and i kept being told too bad. I did not get offfere one solution by your staff. I was left to figure what I was going to do by myself. I didn't leave Puerto Escondido until 24 hours after I was suppose to and it was not by the help of your staff. Because of this, I will highly consider not buying tickets from this airline of their is any other option because it was an awful experience. One of He aero Mexico employees told me to stop acting childish because I was upset about missing my flight for reasons i didn't control. The customer service for aero Mexico was worse then aeromar. They kept blaming aero mar and kept saying they need to figure everything out, yet these two airline work together. Aero Mexico is the one that helps get the flight to other smaller cities. All around I had a miserable day and not one person I called from aero Mexico, like aero mar helped me or offered a solution."

Después tuve que esperar unas horas para que llegara mi vuelo a DF. Perdí mi conexión a Sácramento. Fui a aeromar y estaba cerrado, nadie me ayudó. Fui a la oficina y cerrado. Después llame a aeromar y nadie me ayudó y me colgaron. La boda de mi hermano es en unas horas y ahora tuve que comprar otro boleto de avión a un precio muy alto"

Pros: "Terrible because I was standing in the inner gate area waiting for my friend who had to run to immigration and the plane took off without anyone telling me. I was going to get on when it was ready to leave but didn't have the chance. When I went to the aeomexico ticket booth to get a new ticket they were going to charge me an exorbitant price so I went to American Airlines. I also had to sleep in Mexico City which cost Me an additional $550. All in all the missing of my flight cost me over $1000. I'm so mad about it. Lynn Fecteau 305-854-0891"

Cons: "Arrived at MEX to get through thousands of people at immigration and customs. Ended up missing my connection by a meer few minutes because of the sheer volume. Aeromexico could have waited a few mins for me as they knew I had arrived from London but didn't wait for me so I was rather annoyed by this. Aeromexico even agreed with me that the airport was overly busy so I think they should have accounted for this. To top it off I found out later that the connection flight had been delayed so not impressed,I'm sure they could have got me on board."

Cons: "I upgraded to 1st class for both flights but the plane seating was very dismal and hadn't been upgraded in either of these planes for a long time. After we boarded the plane we were told that no drink, snacks or food would be offered. The attendant shut off the lights as soon as we got in the air and kept it dark in the cabin until 10 minutes before we landed. She never came around to check on us once or ask if we needed anything. I was so thirsty when we landed. I have decided that I will either go back to United Airlines or check out the 1st class options at American Airlines better next time. This might not have been their fault, I'm not sure what it was, but the flight was late landing and we took off an hour late as well which really put me behind schedule."

Then they decided there we were overweight (data that should be known before the cargo was loaded) and off loaded two people. Then after another delay they realised that off loading people meant off loading their baggagge, total delay nearly 2 hours The hedset socket on the entertainment system did not work The USB port did not work THey ran out of food after serving three rows, loaded four sandwiches, no wraps and 2 cheese plates for a full evening flight that was over 5 hours in duration including the delays."

The flight was delayed causing me to miss another AA connection by minutes. Waited in line to be told I wouldn't get on a flight til the following day, they couldn't help with accommodation and I wouldn't receive my luggage until the following day. In short, AA left me stranded in a strange city at midnight with no accommodation and no luggage. It was 18 degrees and I was in t-shirt and shorts. What a memory."

Dreadful "entertainment " system. 4 tiny screens over the centre row is seats showed the in flight movies. This on a transatlantic flight. What decade are American Airlines in?! The fleet look like they date back to the '90's at best!!"

Cons: "Engine was super loud on takeoff - to the point where passengers were looking around worried that something wasn't right. Eventually it seemed to be switched off once we hit the clouds and we seemed to sort of coast quietly for a minute or so - also alarming to everyone judging by the non-verbal behavior that suddenly everyone was exhibiting. Then it came back on again but only at half the volume. Nothing was mentioned about it by the captain or crew so I spent the rest of the flight wondering if the engine was going to give out part way through the flight."

Th poor man in front of me asked for a coke after the meal service was done, and the flight attendant said she had to reserve it for the next flight?! The male announcer flight attendant was very hard to understand, some of his words were slurred and garbled. And the volume was always too loud for both the male and female announcers. There was no entertainment unless you downloaded the app."

Cons: "It was HORRIBLE. They had to book us on another flight to Houston and then to Dallas because there were no more direct flights. We arrived at the check in counter at 10 AM. Flight left at 10:40. We were only 5 minutes late for the cutoff after a 15 hour flight with delays that were NOT our fault but were the fault of the airline itself. Our seats were terrible going back and they did not even offer us any kind of voucher to help with the added time and stress of having to wait for another flight and take an extra one."

The website told me to go to the airport the day before to see a representative. I went to the airport and they told me call back or come back the next day. Information was all inaccurate and after another 55 min wait on the phone (stated “more than 30 mins) i got an agent and rebooked my ticket."

Cons: "Boarding could be a little frustrating because groups 3 4 5 were 1 lane and there wasn't a lot of room in the airport. Also, there wasn't a lot of time to get from one side of the airport to the other to stop at the restroom and get a real meal, since there was nothing served on the previous flight. Due to turbulence there was nothing served on the flight, which is beyond the control of the crew. They knrw ahead of time about the turbulence, perhaps they could have quickly passed out pretzels or cookie before the flight took off."

The second delay was due to someone putting way too much fuel in the plane so we had to wait for the excess fuel to be removed. Then the flight attendants ended their shift so we had to wait for another crew that was flying in from Denver. This involved us having to remove all of our things from the overhead bin and get off the plane and re-board about an hour and half later. I was supposed to make it to Dallas at 8:45 and instead didn't make it until after 12:30. It was extremely inconvenient and unpleasant. I have not experienced such a nightmare before with any previous airlines."

An account follows: For a company who's customer service is already hanging by a very thin thread you would think that you would be doing everything to make your flights as smooth and pleasant as possible. Shall I elaborate on the utter frustration and boredom of being trapped in the San Francisco airport facing not one, not two, but what became SEVEN delays? Delays that have been caused by runway maintenance- a condition which someone in your company would have known about well before I got to the airport and that you simply did not plan for. A almost FOUR HOUR delay that could have been easily avoided if you just had things together and scheduled your planes around the affected runways. And let's not forget the additional delay caused when your flight crew simply couldn't be found to come to the gate so we could start getting underway! But no, I think the absolutely outstanding quintessential experience that defines flying with United airlines is this: After the above delays myself and my fellow passengers were finally able to board our flight- only to be told by the captain that there would be another brief delay while we waited for ANOTHER crew member because one of the pilots was near the end of their union hours. We sit on the plane stuck for another 20 minuets or so, only to be told they can't find anyone, and can we please get off the plane because our WHOLE FLIGHT is CANCELED. The kiosk I get to try and fix this is uncrowded but understaffed and run by clearly undertrained employees. The ones I'm dealing with keep having to ask each other for help, and give advice/plans that contradict one another. One of theme even takes what seems to be a personal call while 'assisting' me. When I finally get ahold of a supervisor I have to plead to get the next flight out of this godforsaken place, which I am reluctantly given as its with one of your competitors. Talking with other customer and airport staff is sounds very much like you are delaying/canceling flights for your own personal gain or at least not correcting flights around the situation to squeeze more money from the situation) it becomes quite clear that you are not only still incapable of accepting any real measure of accountability but entirely disgracefully unorganized.  Almost 12 hours later I do finally make it home- thanks to American Airlines.  Only to have the utter displeasure of one last interaction with United wherein when I pick up my bag your employees insist that I was delayed due to the weather and it wasn't your fault. It was entirely absolutely your fault."

I will never forget my experience in Newark, New Jersey. I met a wonderful woman named Yevette who checked in my luggage. She is to be commended on going above and beyond the call of duty. I don't know her last name. She knew I was very upset because I was leaving my 22 year old baby in Connecticut. She sympathized and comforted me. She put her arms around me and assured me that everything was going to be alright. She is a wonderful woman with a big heart. She is the true meaning of a lady. I have never seen an airline that is weighting each and every passengers backs and purses during the boarding process to see how much more money they can get per flight. Also, I found it kind of funny that after take off the flight attendants were selling the empty seats in the front which didn't had more leg room (not first class) but were just closer to the cabin. You are already charging for sodas, CAN YOU JUST STOP THERE?"

We were all later than we wanted to be due to the México City traffic. I arrived one hour before the flight and they arrived exactly 34 minutes before. I remember because we tracked it exactly on our phones as it was happening. When they got to the check in booth the attendant said they were too late to check in and they had to have gotten there 35 minutes before. I have checked the airline online policies and nowhere does it say that. It only says that they can refuse checkin after 30 minutes but I am positive they arrived before that. I will mention here that the plane was about 15 minutes late taking off. So, the airline enforced strict made up policies on its paying passengers and doesn’t uphold any sense of respect to them? The attendant also told my friends they would not get refunded and that the next flight wasn’t until the next night. We are going to Cabo for the weekend so obviously that was out of the question. So, I board the plane and realize why the attendant must have told my friends the plane was closed. There were no empty seats on the plane, which means that they must have given away seats to people on standby. I support this if its a last minute decision after the flight has closed AS IT IS ADVERTISED. Not a made up 5 minutes before. So I boarded and there was absolutely no service. None. The flight attendants came out once and made you pay for WATER. What kind of airline doesn’t at least give water??? I understand the appeal of budget airlines but honestly, this flight was over $200 which is not what I would call “budget” and the airline skimped on the most basic things— water, customer service, and any semblance of human decency. I am thoroughly disgusted with how horrible this airline has been for even a 1.5 hour flight and i plan to not only write as many horrible reviews as I can but to share this terrible experience with as many people as I can so they can avoid being victims to such inhuman treatment. Viva Aerobús should be ashamed to call themselves an airline and Kayak should be ashamed to allow them on their site."
