Pros: "It’s always a joy to fly with JetBlue. The staff is so courteous and friendly. It makes the flight that much more enjoyable."

This trip was partially due to a credit from a previous trip, which was cancelled due to medical issues. Getting a credit was very painless, and the agent was sooo courteous and helpful! Just a great airline!"

I was able to switch seats due to flight being not full but that would be annoying. I also was weirded out that they did not ha e touch screens. In general the plane just seemed old and dirty to me."

The leg room was a great surprise. No hassle with bags. Great snacks, wi-fi and movies for FREE! I was so tickled. I've never flown JetBlue. I thought it was just another low-cost airline that makes you pay for everything , what a nice surprise! I immediately gave you a shout-out on my facebook account. Best flight experience I've had in a long time. Thank you."

Cons: "An electrical problem caused the plane to shut down. Rather than finding us new flights, we waited for many hours for the plane to be repaired. I was planning on making it to work by 9 this morning but the only folks who received alternate flights were the ones with connections :( in addition to this, the power shutting down on the plane was extremely unsettling. I have flown hundreds of times and have zero fear of flying. Today, I was terrified that the power would shut off mid-flight at any moment. I truly wish we'd been given another plane...i know that's tough. But something along those lines would have been better than stepping back on the one that shut down with all of us in it...after waiting for hours for it to be repaired. I do appreciate the $150 coupon though."

Pros: "Our experience leaving tampa to San juan was absolutely perfect! We were starting our honeymoon and as a courtsey, the attendant who checked us in, was absolutely so sweet. She even upgarded us to even more space seats at no extra charge."
Cons: "The flight back to tampa from san juan was a complete nightmare! We arrived at the gate 15 minutes before and was extremely upset to find out that the gates were closed. The pilot and the attendants saw that we were banging on the door and yet they just stared at us. The plane wasnt detached from the terminal which is why I didnt understand why they couldnt let me in unless they sold my seat. An attendant finally came out by the name of Chanel (the AD Lead). All she did is rebook me for 2 days later and told me that that flight might get cancelled due to the hurricane. She wasn't even trying at all to help me. She had a rude attitude and told me that she will be back to help me. Yeah right! She came back 3 hours later! I could not stand to even look at this unprofessional employee. I paid extra to fly jetblue as I have been told they have great customer service. Pshhhh.... I myself had to call jetblue and spoke to melinda (customer service supervisor) she was trying everything in her power and it really showed. An attendant came and started checking the next flight out of puerto rico to ft. Lauderdale. Melinda put me on stand by for the flight and ecen spoke directly to the Natalie who was checking guests on the flight. Two seats came available for me and my husband to get back to florida. We then rented a car and drove 4 hours back to tampa. I was just completely disgusted on how Chanel handled the whole situation. I told her that I had medical treatments the next morning in tanpa that I could not miss but yet she did not at all seem to care. As a lead I thought she would at least put me on stand by to go to ft. Lauderdale. That wasnt even an option for Chanel. She was completely worthless and had a stupid look on her face when she saw me get on the plane to fy. Lauderdale. Something she could have helped me with instead of saying she would be right back and left me for 3 hours later with no help. Jetblue, I say this in the kindest of ways, please fire chanel. People like that will only cost you guys more in the future as you will loose so much clientel due to the unprofessional conduct and customer service she gave. Hire more Natalie's and Melindas who help you regardless of the situation and not Chanel who didnt care and was a bother to her to put in the same type of customer service that Melinda and Natalie gave me."

Unable to deplane down them with both purse and small carryon. Someone always has to help me carry my carryon plus theirs as there is no provision for help from the airline. American seems to be only airline to do this, I will have to reconsider flying with you in the future."

Cons: "The overhead space was smaller on this plane and as I learned on my trip to DTW my weekender carry-on would not fit with my shoes in it. Because of this, I pulled my shoes out and put them in a collapsible bag that fit under the seat in front of me along with my small personal bag as I had done on my previous flight. However, the gate agent would not allow me to board the plane and would not listen to my explainations at all as I tried to keep the boarding process moving along. She kept repeating "you have 3 bags" and made me steep out of line and check my carry-on (which I would then have to pick up at baggage claim). When I asked why I couldn't get out on the jetway like she had done for other passengers she said, " I only did that for airline employees" (quick happened to be a flight attendant from Spirit). My overall experience on both flights to and from Detroit was that the gate agents and flight attendants were the most unhelpful and rude airline employees I have delt with and I will stick to my preferred carrier, Delta, for my future flights back and forth to Detroit. They certainly make me feel like a valued customer when I fly them, which I did not feel with American."

Pitch of leg room is barely OK but side to side they have sunk to a new low. The new plane doesn't blow any air. Terrible system. Really? That should be easy to fix."

I had to purchase a room, taxi, and then spend the following day in the airport as that flight was repeatedly delayed. I booked a direct flight and was not rescheduled for such. Still waiting for reply from American Airlines. First time flying with this carrier and disappointed is an understatement."

After we were checked in and ready to board I then got a call to notify me the flight was changed. Boarding was awful made me check small carry on when there was several open over-head compartments and several others were walking in with two + carry ons. How do you explain that? I will NEVER fly American Airlines again. The airplane from Dallas to Tampa was ancient, a little scary to even think it was still in the air. The air conditioning was minimal I could hear other passengers complaining it was extremely uncomfortable."

One of the crew members had a bad attitude when I offered to let my bags continue on the flight without me (I originally opted to deplane and stay in Detroit). I was only trying to be helpful and got my head bit off... I get It. It was a stressful situation, but the crew doesn’t need to add insult to injury. They’re getting paid hourly whether flights are on time or not. It’s the passengers who have a right to be anxious."

Cons: "Confusing carryon regulations. Said “no carryons” so I repacked & when arrived at gate EVERYONE had full sized carryons...!"

Pros: "I loved the pilot taking time to greet my boys and give them wings! My boys loved sitting in the co-pilot's seat and hearing "the plane talk." Once we got to our seats, the flight attendants were very helpful and kind and we, actually, landed early! Yaaayyy! My boys won't forget their flight to Houston because of the cool female and male pilots they met while traveling. Thank you!"
Cons: "I did NOT like how the seats are grouped in twos. I flew with two small children who could only sit together and I had to sit by myself and watch them; which was very hard. If I could change anything about my flight, I would change the age of children who need to purchase seats to four and up as most children under 4 want to sit with their mothers, so why should I pay for a seat they will not be using?"

Cons: "There was only one person rescheduling and we got a faster reroute get plan on the phone. It was all pretty awful and we did not get to our destination until many hours after scheduled. Not at all a good trip."

What I do not care for is the lack of customer service. There was only one person at the counter in the airport. And let's not mention the unpleasant flight attendent on at 5 hour flight! Nothing offered for the inconvenience. Everyone including the pilot was just as irritated as the passengers. I usually prefer United when flying coast to coast but...worst experience yet."

I would payed beforehand to get a more comfortable seat if I'd known I was to fly on a no-reclining seat on an overnight flight."

Cons: "They delayed the flight due to "operational difficulties". I understand this happens, however, their communication towards customers was unacceptable. They first announced a 20 min delay, followed by another 30 min, then 30 more and then 30 more than then 30 more! They basically kept us at the gate for 2 1/2 hours until the found another plane. For a business like United, and flying out of their hub this is completely unacceptable. We ended up leaving at 11pm for a flight scheduled at 8. They didnt give anything in the plane to make up for it. No food, no free wifi, nothing."

Cons: "I purchased my tickets on 10/30/2015 for an aisle seat. I check in the day before and no seat assignment, get to the kiosk and no seat assignment. I see the agent at the gate and she gives me a middle seat, I complained and she gave me an aisle seat. I get to my seat and someone is sitting in that seat, I go back to the front of the plane and wait to be assigned to another seat. The agent said they changed the plane that's why everyone lost seat assignments, 6 out of the 8 people that all booked together sat in their assigned seats. Never fly with them again."

When I arrived to the airport my flight was then delayed another hour. This was two days after my previous flight with United which had us sitting on the tarmac for 2 hours waiting for updates about whether or not we could take off."

They were to help us change connections so te line was long and VERY slow. Half of us didn't get the connections changed. We de larded in Houston with connections that were unreasonable. United employees rude and not helpful. I had to fly to San Francisco then to Ontario making a long terrible day."

Cons: "My flight was held back 2 hours because "a flight attendant called off". So I missed my connecting flight "I touched down as the connecting flight was supposed to take off". I was put on a standby list for a flight leaving later that night and I didn't get it. I was told I had to wait until 7am the next morning to get on a flight. After asking, I was given a hotel, cab, and 2 food vouchers. The taxi took me to the hotel united chose. I got there and there were no vacancies. I had to pay for my own taxi to a different hotel that luckily took my voucher for the other hotel. after all this mess I only got 2 hours sleep. The 7am flight waited for its connecting flights. This delay cost me a third of my trip and money on my first night at my hotel."

Cons: "Nothing Missed my flight due to united being so unorganized. Didn't realize even on international flight you have to pay for food !!! And much moe I didn't like !"

Cons: "Flight was 20 min late, and then on top of that an hour delay happened. The courtesy drink I had, which was coffee, was bad. The WiFi I had in my seat wasn't working, and the crew seemed more somber than cheery. I did not at all enjoy my flight. Also, becuase the flight was that late, my ride couldn't pick me up so I had to fork out 50$ for cab fare."

Pros: "I did not ask for food although I feel you should give a small snack without cost. I never use your entertainment, so I have no opinion about it. Overall, the experience was excellent, the people at the very busy airport very friendly."

Pros: "We finally arrived, thankful. But upset. The flight was good after we got going.."
Cons: "My flight was cancelled and i missed my meeting on Dec.10, 2015.. We were suppose to go Washington to Portland, Maine.instead we went to New Newark..At lenght wait... And after all that waiting we are offered a drink of soda or juice. What gives? Nothing else?"

Cons: "They charge for everything and don't allow you to pay for bags when you purchase but if they aren't paid for when you purchase then you pay more. The customer service reps constantly try to upsell."

Cons: "First, when I booked I was not given option to pay for baggage or choose seats, meaning I wasn't able to use the cheapest option. I had to spend at least 2 hours on the phone with a Spirit agent to get to pay for my bags before arriving at the airport at all - I wasn't able to do it online. On day of flight: the first leg was delayed. When we got to layover our final flight had been cancelled with no reason given. We were booked on another flight 8 hours later which meant we got in late enough that I had to miss another day of work. The Spirit agent at the gate in Las Vegas was also extremely rude. I also didn't get any phone or email updates."

Pros: "I was easily able to upgrade my seat prior to flight."
Cons: "They charge for a carry on bag, charge more for checked luggage than any other airlines, charge you if your bag is over 40 lbs (not 50 lbs like all other airlines), they don't provide any complimentary snacks/drinks on plane. Flight attendants all had a flat affect and looked liked they hated their job on both my flights. On departure flight it took over 30 mins to get luggage to the carousel. Will never fly spirit again."

Pros: "Quick boarding. No frills airline. Want a cheap seat and dont care about other things like reclining chairs then this is the airline for you. Everything besides a small personal backpack costs money. Want to bring your normal carry-on thats $55. Want food or drink thatll cost extra. No entertainment."

Cons: "It was not clearly conveyed when purchasing the ticket that baggage fees were not included in the base price. Thus, we not only had to pay to check 2 bags and 2 carry-ons for 170$, we also had to pay an extra 100$ because our checked bags were "overweight" at 50lbs (they only accept 40lbs bags) - and this was only ONE WAY. We will have to pay that $270 on our return flight as well. Ultimately our baggage fees cost us 4X more than our two ticket fares combined! Now I wouldn't call that a "bargain" by any means - we could have gotten two first-class tickets on delta for the total amount we ended up paying. We will never fly spirit again and will ultimately think twice when booking through kayak. What a bummer."

Again, they charge for your first checked bag on an international flight as well as your carry on in addition to any tap water or drinks you would like on the flight. For an international flight these policies are unheard of. You're better off paying the $50 more and fly another airline because spirit is going to take that from you and then some!"

Pros: "It was the worst flight ever. The only good thing was the baggage clsim. Which we did not have to pay for."

Pros: "We were nickled and dimed for bags. They also are trying to get you to pay to reserve seats out of fear you won't be able to sit with your friends (we did not pay and were able to sit together). Check-in was a nightmare; the Spirit staff was altogether unhelpful and it was evident from announcements they were so running so far behind people were at risk of missing flights. We only had to check bags and it was not clearly marked or indicated where the bag drop was located. The flight was listed as on time throughout the night however we left 1.5 hours after our scheduled departure time; Spirit never made any announcement about the delay and the board at the gate continued to read "on time". Once on board though, the flight was uneventful, comfortable, and satisfactory."

Pros: "Always enjoy flying spirit. With budget airlines what I'm looking for is a cheap price and on time flights. Spirit fulfilled both."

Cons: "My luggage was sent on another airline and another city. When I initially asked the desk attendent in Houston for help, she literally said "No". Spirit overall has poor customer service but this shocked me. Although Olivia who worked that same evening was amazing. I've been flying for 25 years and had never had an issue with any of the dozens of airlines I've been on even more budget airlines than spirit. This is my second time flying Spirit and I will NEVER make the same mistake again."

No frills I get but at least use the standard 50lbs weight not 40lbs. Another way to get you in the pocket. Then they determined it by all bags, not one by one. Rip off."
