Cons: "Seats are built for very small people. My knees were pressed into some hard surfaces for the entire 3+ hour flight. Made it a little painful to walk when we landed. The movie screens (not headrest systems) were all up overhead so you get a neck cramp watching anything. The headrest behind me pressed my shoulders forward and the extendable part would not stay up. The window stopped at about my shoulder so to look out I had to crouch down. AA better stop squeezing us for profits and start delivering a quality service or we'll all find some other airline that puts passengers first."

Flight was from Dulles to Hartford and due to depart at 12:30 pm. 12:30 pm - Notified flight delayed an hour or so because they didn't have a flight attendant for the flight. 2:00 pm - Notified flight delayed because Flight Attendant was found but on way. 4:00 pm - Notified the Flight attendant would not be able to make it, but they were looking for another one. 6:00 pm - Notified a Flight Attendant was found and was on a plane that was inbound and would be landing any minute. Notified plane with Flight Attendant arrived at gate and they would be there any minute and we could begin boarding. 6:45 pm - Flight was CANCELLED!!!!! I could go on about how I was rebooked on an 11:00 pm flight on American Airlines out of Reagan, my checked bag was not returned to me and I was told it was on another plane United plane that would beat me to Hartford, they shuttled me to Reagan. I got to Hartford and my bag was not there......SURPRISE!! This was ridiculous and thank god I was traveling alone and had time. I felt bad for the families with small children who had to suffer through this stupidity."

Was very disappointed with customer service and the way thinga were handled from the beginning. Frontier has really declined as of recent. Supposed to be going on a trip in October and initially was going to use frontier but not sure I will be any longer. Wouldn't recommend to anyone after that."

Cons: "They don't have adequate terminals at Trenton Mercer and use an outside ramp. We arrived right before a thunderstorm and were told the ground crew couldn't come out to move the ramp until 15 minutes past the last lightning strike within 5 miles. Many people wanted to get off the plane and felt they were willing to take that risk themselves, but of course the ramp was controlled by the ground crew. Seats on Frontier are generally terrible."

Any passenger that approached them was treated poorly. The airplane floor and seats were dirty upon arrival. As with any low budget airline, the seats were uncomfortable and there were no entertainment options. Check in was a nightmare with insane lines and passengers barely getting their bags and check-in figured out before rushing to the gate. Recommend arriving three hours early if you don't want to wonder if you're about to miss your flight through the checkin and bag drop process."

On my flight back to Denver today, I found out in the terminal that my entire trip was cancelled because I missed my original outgoing flight. I was never notified of this cancellation through email or phone call. I was then asked to pay another $200 for a one way ticket back to Denver. Luckily I was able to fly standby on Delta again instead. Never flying Spirit again. Terrible customer service as well."

I'd found flights around the same price range that include carry-on luggage and sometimes even a checked bag, reclining seats, and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages. Spirit bombards you with ads about how every inconvenience supposedly saves us money. It doesn't. It's hidden costs. 99% of people are going to need more than a backpack when they fly across the country. And it doesn't go towards service either. Check-in kiosks didn't open until an hour before the early morning flights, despite the instructions we receive. Deboarding is chaotic. Flight attendants zoom by before I can throw away my trash or ask a question, and they don't help customers with overhead storage."

I went to the Delta desk, they got me on a 5:36 flight. I will never, ever book a flight on spirit again. And I will tell everyone who will listen not to fly them. You are THE WORST AIRLINE and your employees are JERKS. Thanks for nothing."
Cons: "There was no flight from Detroit to NYC, it was cancelled and in the end 7 of us got together and rented a van to drive there. The cabin staff and ground staff were terribly unhelpful and generally seemed to not have the training to deal with a situation like this. Not a single person felt compensated or helped out in any way. Worst flying experience of my life and will never fly Spirit again....neither will anyone else I know."
