Cons: "SAS has introduced hand luggage measurement and weighing at checkin, for a maximum of 17.5 lbs or 8 kg. SAS does not care if you have flown on another transatlantic carrier, which allows more than 8 kg. Then you need to start emptying your hand luggage at checkin. The whole checkin process was a big mess, the contract employees eg. at Heathrow do not help much (they probably do not do this to any other airline). SAS staff does not remind you to take your IDs and passport, medications etc. from your hand luggage, which is then checkedin luggage as opposed to hand luggage. It is obvious that transatlantic passengers have more hand luggage than many local passengers."

In Paris, but ONLY after I located my receipt on my phone, they moved us to the seats we had paid for."

There was not enough AA ground crew at our destination to allow us to embark. They couldn’t move the jetway and unload bags at the same time so we just had to sit there for 30 minutes. At 12:30am."

A crappy sandwich was served mid-flight. 90 minutes before landing at approx 2pm local time, we were served breakfast. WTF?"

Cons: "They skipped our row for beverage and breakfast. Never offered food. Didn't even know they were serving others. We paid for an upgrade for economy plus and got less than economy. Also the inflight entertainment was down. 4.5 hr flight and you had to pay for wifi if you didn't bring a book. 2 young kids , one phone and a long flight means unhappy customers."

United has too few machines that work too slowly to tag bags and get tickets. On ground United staff rude and unpleasant. They are a disgrace to their stockholders! Also Newark Airport is decrepit and the United Terminal is run down with poor services that arte ovrpriced and dirty."

We had 2 flights in one day and just a couple hours after using the movies the second flight didn't allow it, I was hugely disappointed because it really makes the flight go by fast. After placing several calls prior to my departure date to confirm that my 40 inch TV was ok for transportation , it wasn't until I got to the airport to find out that I was unable to take the TV or the TV stand.. I live in Philadelphia and had nowhere to leave it causing me to give it to a stranger in order to make my flight . I am very distraught that the information indicating there was an embargo restricting the transportatione of TV greater 32 inches or boxes to Montego Bay was not given during any of those calls.. I don't understand why that information was not sent in an email prior.. On top of that I placed a call to customs in Montego Bay and was adviced that the embargo is enforced by the airline not customs... If I could some how get some answers regarding this I would appreciate it..."

My whole flight was canceled as a result. The front desk guy was smug and extremly rude. The Tech support and this representative offered 2 different "Facts" on what could be done. As a result I was forced to pay for a hotel and miss a day of work. All because I wanted to spend extra time with my family. I have nothing possitive to say about your product and as a business owner Im embarrassed for you."

The reschedule somehow caused me to lose my window seat even though I was on the same exact flight. This overbooked flight ended up being full of all kinds of grumpy and upset passengers (rightfully so). Uncomfortable seats just made it that much worse. Poor job overall"

Cons: "Next to my horrible experience with Frontier Airlines, this 4-hour United flight from LAX to O'hare was among the worst flights comfort-wise I've ever had. What is with the lightweight, streamlined child-sized seats on airplanes these days? Are you really that tight on money, United? Upon boarding, there was NO room for my single carry-on; a backpack with a macbook and camera gear in it. The flight attendant tried to help finding a place but had to resort to offering to check the bag. With over $4,000 of gear inside I politely declined the crew handling it... Looks like its going under the seat in front of me. Normally on any flight, I can fall fast asleep after take off, and wake up 20 minutes before landing. These seats were so god-awful that 15 minutes in my back was cramping, and 20 minutes later my bum was throbbing with discomfort. This went on for literally the entire flight, even with breaks to stand up in the cramped airplane. I had to share a park-bench style armrest with two people, and to make matters worse, the seats didn't recline. The airplane was hot, airflow poor, and overall comfort at an all-time low. These may seem like minuscule complaints, but for me; they're important. I was happy that I was finally flying with a major airline, for a decent price, thinking that I'd be comfortable all the way home. Not the case apparently for United Airlines. I quit flying frontier awhile back for business, and have no added United to the list. I think I'll stick with southwest and virgin from now on."
