Scores according to KAYAK customer reviews
Pros: "Great crew"
Pros: "The flight attendant in our long flight, London to Hoiston, was extremely nice and took very good care of our section. The seats were not all that comfortable: you could feel there was minimal padding on mine and my partner's neck rest wouldn't stay up."
Cons: "We were shocked to learn there were no outlets on the long flight from London to Houston. Luckily we had a power bank, otherwise our phones would've been dead."
Pros: "Crew worked hard to keep to time and make passengers comfortable."
Cons: "Boarding gate crowded."
Cons: "Seriously on an international flight between Linate, Milan to Heathrow, London PAY pounds for a hot coffee or tea."
Cons: "price and reliability"
Pros: "Great crew, excellent legroom, excellent meal, snacks"
Cons: "Eliminating the 1 hour delay to get to the gate at Logan after landing early."
Cons: "Almost everything. BA is simply an embarrassment."
Pros: "In time departure and friendly staff"
Cons: "No complaints"
Pros: "Flight crew was friendly. Getting to leave the plane."
Cons: "Seats were the smallest since I tried Ryan Air. Boarding is ridiculous process of elevators, buses, and salmon stand-offs as people board from the front & rear with no guidance. Arrival was also waiting on buses before a 15 minute ride to the far side of the airport. No food or beverage is offered free. Not a pleasant experience in any way."
Pros: "The crew was enthusiastic"
Cons: "No m&s sandwiches on board, half filled tea cups (even when asking for no milk)"
Pros: "short flight, no issues"
Cons: "nothing of importance"
Pros: "This is a no frills BA flight, but I'd rather do fly with BA than the other options. You have to pay for food and drink, the quality of crew far exceeds the usual low cost dross."
Cons: "Nothing for the price. Although my preference would be BA via London City."
Pros: "BA did everything right. Weather caused hours of delays on tens of flights. Airport was not prepared to manage the volume"
Cons: "Over 2.5 hours delay"
Cons: "If you want to reserve your airline seat (I'm talking a standard economy seat) you have to pay $34 per seat if it's 24 hours or more before your flight. Guess what happens at 24 hours? The airport takes over and you're stuck in the middle of a crowded 10.5 hour flight all because you weren't able to select your seat ahead of time. Just another money grab from a tanking airline."
Cons: "I wish we would have been offered something to drink that was complimentary."
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "Overhead luggage compartments broken and taped shut. Delay in boarding. Nothing offered not even water. Except items to be purchased. No frills airline at non budget price"
Cons: "Delayed 4 hours!"
Pros: "we took off and we landed"
Cons: "Checkmytrip kept giving different information about the flight. once on board with delay first officer said they would try to make up time. Soon it was all about air traffic control. said that FlightConnections would be working on flights for this with missed connections. not true - nothing done while we were flying, and landed"
Cons: "I tried used assistence and lost de conetion"
Cons: "Mixed up boarding arrangements, length of time to disembark, being coached to the terminal. ok these add up as stress for business travelers on a deadline for meetings"
Cons: "Business class configuration on BA 777"
Pros: "The landig was the best I have ever experienced in 20 years of travels, I was then informed that the pilot was a woman :) great to see more female pilots around"
Cons: "It was on Air Lingus not BA. No Entertainment -"
Pros: "Good pilots. Safe flight."
Cons: "No free beverages between Milan and London! This is the very first time I have not given free water!"
Cons: "Seats didn't recline, no entertainment, no beverage or food service. Delayed leaving and landing and the ground crew couldn't find a working jet bridge further delaying the disembarkment. I almost missed my connection despite a 90 minite layover."
Pros: "Seats were comfortable and the flight attendants very attentive."
Cons: "Having to pay for food or drinks. It's not that much to offer some peanuts and a coke. I would have liked the cabin lighting dimmed sooner and less early before landing."
Pros: "Everything was fine, food was better than expected, on time"
Cons: "This was a connecting flight and they should allow extra time when changing terminals. 2 hours was BARELY enough with 2 20 minute bus rides and a huge line at security, to top it off, 1/4 mile of moving walkway was shut down for no apparent reason. These are Heathrow issues, not really BA issues."
Pros: "excellent, efficient, clean, professional"
Cons: "partnering with American Airlines is a crime and an offense."
Pros: "Comming back the seats were more comfortable"
Cons: "Going the seats were very very uncomfortable"
Pros: "In flight entertainment and meals were great. Flight was on time."
Cons: "Very crowded and difficult to move. Also, would have liked more water service - had to go ask for water a few times since service was not offered regularly."
Pros: "The craft, the crew, the food was excellent"
Cons: "Ackward media control"
Pros: "Ontime and efficient"
Cons: "No on line checking available from London to SFO"
Pros: "good movies"
Cons: "There should be an attendant at the entrance to the boarding area. Too many people try to line up and to into the queue before they need to. Either they don't understand the language or the procedures. There should be people walking around to answer questions on boarding procedures or better announcements in several languages. the Asians were extremely confused as were the Germans we encountered. They never announced for people with disabilities to get ahead of others. It was a big "casino" as the Italians say when everyone charges the boarding area. People could be put in groups according to where their seating is, making it easier for all."
Pros: "Online check in & boarding pass on your phone using BA app."
Cons: "Seats are quite cramped"
Cons: "1. It was raining in Milan when I departed. Clearly my checked suitcase was exposed to major rain because several layers of clothes were very wet when I got home. 2. I'm a senior citizen trying to stretch funds to travel -- paying extra for an early seat assignment is not in my budget. Logging in 24 hours ahead to get a seat was incredibly inconvenient--I happened to be in a museum and without WiFi. (It could have been in the middle of the night or on a connecting plane.) I then had trouble entering all the required data and was finally told I had to wait 24 hours to try again-- that made no sense because I had to be on my flight 24 hours later. As a senior citizen who struggles with using the internet, it is particularly difficult. PLEASE let people choose a seat when making a reservation WITHOUT charging extra. 3. I was shocked that I couldn't get a glass of water without paying for it!!!!"
Pros: "I had an entire row to myself, the flight was on time, and the crew was great. The views of the Alps below were entertainment enough."
Cons: "I did not like the seats. I have. Bad back and found the seat uncomfortable."
Cons: "delays, loud drunk in boarding area in Amsterdam that had been removed from his flight,"
Pros: "Sandwich was tasty, but had to pay for it. On short flight, that's not a big deal."
Pros: "The flight was short."
Cons: "The card machine kept declining my cards for a bag of crisps. Seriously! Money was available on all cards. Got to the airport and purchased crisps and tea with no issue. Flight attendants were nice, but aloof."
Pros: "The lounge services and staff at the airport."
Cons: "seats and surfaces not so clean in club world."
Cons: "Online check in was not available on 4 international flights, despite 24 hour checkin being advertised. Expect your seat preferences to be limited unless you pay $35-$85 per flight to pick your seat in advance."
Cons: "There was no direction when boarding, resulting in 2 lines of people from different direction trying to board! No entertainment at all. You have to pay for even water."
Pros: "We didn't crash."
Cons: "No leg room at all. Felt like a sardine in a can. Not even water is free. Staff were horribly inefficient with the snack cart They finished 15 minutes before landing on a 2 hour flight!"
Cons: "Checkin staff , who don't appear tombs BA but from another airline working on behalf of BA, apparently punted a problem they knew would take much effort to resolve to the BA agents at Heathrow"
Pros: "We did land OK but JFK was snowed in and this probably caused the many problems we encountered. Iq always have bad luck flying in and out of that airport so I don't completely hold BA accountable. Staff we polite and efficient."
Cons: "We were stuck in the plane for an hour and a half after landing at JFK. On the ground they ran the engines so loudly my husband got a terrible headache. We mentioned the noise problem but were ignored. Once allowed to debark we were crammed into a long cold hall and waited another 1/2 hour before moving towards immigration clearance. To top it off the baggage conveyer system was broken and we waited another 45 minutes before they shut the building down. So we left with no luggage exhausted. One piece of luggage was left back in London. Not pleasant at all. We did get our luggage returned 3 days later. That was good."
Pros: "Very organized. Weather delay due to fog was unavoidable but made up time enroute"
Cons: "Would have like a few updates at the gate, but staff did not update."
