Pros: Arrived early, and that was good.
Cons: food was sub par . first class so so
Pros: Crew was amazing and friendly. Clean, chargers for phones in front of the seat and free WiFi for messaging on board.
Cons: Offered free movie watching but our iPhones didn’t have plugs for earbuds, so we couldn’t enjoy it because it would disturb others having the sound on.
Cons: Flight from Seattle to anchorage late one hour
Pros: The crews were very friendly and helpful.
Pros: Friendly. Good price!
Cons: Seats hardly reclined and had little padding
Pros: Best flight we have had in a long time.
Cons: We didn’t have any food.
Pros: Because of seat screwup we were comped meals, entertainment drinks etc enjoyed the attention Good leg room
Pros: Alaska flight crew treated treated my violin with extra care. Thanks!
Cons: The flight was terrible. The lady in front of me had no idea how to discipline a child. Her son screamed the entire flight.
Pros: Boarding process was smooth and efficient Bathroom was clean.
Cons: Very little personality of maim cabin FA. Cordial and courteous. Nothing being that. Small jet but one main cabin bathroom?
Pros: Crew was great, food was okay, Gogo inflight was fine. Everything about the entire experience, TSA to arrival baggage carousel, was fine - except for the delayed departure. 2.5 hours due to air traffic control at the destination.
Cons: The delay- even though I know it wasn’t an Alaska Airlines delay, still delayed me seeing my mom for another day... she’d gone to sleep by the tome I arrived.
Pros: Other think was okay
Cons: No update for delay
Pros: Very friendly flight crew. Smooth boarding. Got in a 1/2 hour early!
Pros: The flight was on time, the crew was friendly and they even served is lunch which was tasty.
Cons: My only minor complaint is they charge $8 to watch a movie.
Pros: Roomy seats, friendly staff.
Cons: Not permitted to use both bathrooms (one on front reserved for first class only).
Pros: On time Helpful
Pros: Enough leg room, even for the middle seat, frequent beverage service and attendant, well, attendants
Pros: I felt like there was ample leg room, and liked that the back of the plane boarded before the middle of the plane.
Cons: The scripts didn't sound well rehearsed, and disrupted my audiobook longer than. Necessary
Pros: The attendants are really great.
Cons: 3 hour delay. After boarding we sat on runway while the missing culinary cart was found and then paperwork needed to be completed and then we needed to be de-iced and then we're able to take off. Very long wait for luggage.
Cons: The flight was 4 hours late-when I got to the gate they announced they didn't know where the plane was coming from San Jose. Later they said it hadn't left. They gave us vouchers for dinner which I appreciated.
Pros: I’m 6’3”, more legs than upper body. We sat in row 19 of a 737-900 and I had plenty of leg room in the middle seat. The middle eastern chicken meal was delicious! Free Wi-Fi for chatting/iMessages was really nice.
Cons: The broccoli in my meal was brown and yellow. How is that possible? I didn’t have the app for watching movies. And I didn’t want to pay for wireless in order to download the app to watch free entertainment. So their network team should allow their firewall opend up to whatever port that can make that happen.
Cons: My emotional therapy dog of 7 pounds got part of her paw ripped off on an airport escalator. Though she was bleeding profusely all over me, I was not allowed to use the first aid kit to bandage her. I had to bring her to an emergency vet upon landing in Minneapolis
Pros: Our flight attendant was excellent. Because I'm a vegetarian, he gave me a salad. Alaska does not provide but one meal choice in first class. Food options are way better in coach.
Cons: Seats are uncomfortable and meal choice is poor.
Pros: I like that there was leg room.
Pros: I liked being able to watch movies for FREE
Pros: Crew was professional, plan was clean,
Cons: Plane was late
Pros: Nice clean plane. Very nice stewards.
Cons: Could use a light blanket.
Pros: Traveling alone - upgraded to first class - I was wearing a boot for a broken metatarsal bone, so it was awesome to have more room/comfort!
Pros: I liked the amount of space in my seat! Cushy chairs leg room event tilted back
Cons: Totally Happy!
Pros: Lost luggage for a day
Cons: They canceled the flight with no warning, had no customer representatives to help people make other arrangements, and had a very short window of time to file for a refund. Absolutely sub par experience.
Pros: The staff was fine, and food/drinks were as expected.
Cons: The flight kept getting delayed, which is something that happens, but there was little communication about it.
Pros: It was a great flight well taken care off had a window seat and fell asleep
Pros: Crew was polite ans helpful. The captain was informative and the flight was smooth
Cons: The seats are VERY small. There is not any room between you and the next person. That was not enjoyable at all.
Pros: Arrived on time even with delayed start
Cons: Short delay
Cons: Landing took forever, stearing on plane malfunctioned, worst experience of my life
Pros: Leg space big, crew fun and considerate
Cons: Not enough room in the seats
Cons: Large people that take up part of your seat should be forced to pay for first class. Uncomfortable ride for me
Cons: Baggage was lost
Pros: The crew was very friendly and helpful and the flight was very smooth
Pros: The staff were awesome!
Cons: no covid-19 precautions were taken.
Pros: Early, clean and comfortable
Pros: My favorite airline to travel from Denver to Puerto Rico, round trip, and in Atlanta I will make the stopover, I also feel so safer to travel with my cat ... they are the best airline in everything
Cons: Let people who travel with pets earn extra points for taking them with Delta
Cons: Air flow from air above seats was blowing out hot air. My seat kept reclining so I got yelled at and I didn’t do it on purpose. Long wait on ground before takeoff.
Pros: The crew was extremely helpful and friendly!
Cons: The seats, overall, could have been more comfortable... I have somewhat of a backache after my trip.
Pros: The accommodation to the military service members!
Cons: Air fresheners should be used on the airplane.
Cons: There is always just too much talking and announcements on the flights now.
Pros: Same crew and great experiments again
Pros: Delta is doing a great job keeping everything calm and clean during this pandemic!
Pros: Crew was polite and very helpful.
Cons: It would have been great to reiterate to passengers to remain seated when deplaning, until the passenger in the row ahead were approximately 6 Ft away.
Pros: The snacks
Cons: There was one flight attendant who was very rude.
Pros: Pretty straight forward. Clean. Efficient.
Pros: Great social distancing and Delta supplies MULTIPLE sanitizing options!!
Cons: The entertainment system was not working, and the charging stations weren’t working either.
Pros: On time arrival and departure.
Cons: Under the Covid circumstances, it was a good experience.
Pros: Liked the attitude of staff and comfort of 50% capacity.
Cons: There were costumers taking off mask and walking through plane.
Pros: I appreciate that Delta leaves seats empty, for our health.
Cons: Snacks were all sugar-laden. Not good for anyone!
Pros: Seat comfort was average for a small jet. Bottled water was cold.
Cons: Cabin was too warm
Pros: Super respctful
Pros: Crew was friendly and very clear about masks.
Pros: The space between passengers.
Cons: Nothing it was perfect.
Pros: The crew was amazing.
Cons: The seat backs are very uncomfortable for my neck & upper back. Difficult to tolerate, and gave me headache on each flight.
Pros: Great crew.
Pros: Great crew.
Cons: Nothing all excellent
Pros: The seat was comfortable. Snacks were good. Inflight entertainment was amazing. Boarding was smooth.
Cons: Nothing it was perfect
Cons: Extremely frustrated. Upon booking my ticket, I was told it wouldn’t be a full flight. At no point did u receive any information alerting me that it was going to be a full flight. I was extremely uncomfortable due to COVID.
Pros: It was a nice, quick hop. Everyone played by the new COVID rules.
Cons: It was great! Nice job Delta !
Pros: Took extreme measures for COVID prevention. It felt very safe
Cons: When I pick up my bags
Pros: We needed a seat belt extender and one of the crew members noticed and was so kind in getting that. No embarrassment or drawing attention to the customer. His name? David
Pros: Boarding was very efficient. Flight attendants were helpful and kind and seemed to care.
Cons: We booked basic seats knowing we might not sit together however we did not know they would separate children. They put my husband and I in an exit row and my daughter at the back of the plane with strangers. I was not comfortable with strangers being responsible for my child. I assumed they would seat children with at least one parent. We did ask to move at the gate and the accommodated us with the last row on the plane. No recline, no window, and right next to the bathrooms. We took it to be with our kid but this policy needs to be revised. Kids should always be seated with the adult responsible for them... who knows what kind of person might end up next to my child. Not to mention if she had needed something is the stranger gonna take care of it? It’s just a bad practice imo.
Pros: The crew was great and super nice!
Cons: Screens with games, more leg room, and not having kids behind us messing with tray tables the whole flight.
Cons: No issues at all
Pros: Inflight experience was fine. TVs didn’t work but Flight attendants are friendly on Delta, cramped seating - but not unlike other airlines.
Cons: Regular fare seat assignment not available prior to gate . Airport concourse F - poor - limited services. Customer Service seemed uninterested and unable to provide service both on phone and at gate. I’m a frequent United flyer & today’s Delta service experience made me more loyal to UA.
Pros: Early and middle seat was open!
Cons: Coffee tasted like fish. :(
Pros: We boarded close to on time, no hassles. Allowed my husband and me (retired military) to board early, thank you.
Cons: LAX security is awful. We never left the airport (arrived LAX from Sydney AU) yet were forced thru security again. Had to remove shoes, was scanned and "frisked" by TSA to get to Denver. To go to Australia, Denver TSA waived the removal of shoes, skipped the scan for the metal detector and no one touched me, ditto for LAX on the trip to Sydney. Where's the uniformity or standards for TSA?? Why did I have to be subjected to this garbage on the way home?? This is why I despise flying. It makes no sense to me. This ruined what was a great vacation.
Cons: Plane journey awful. Speaker had a loud buzzing noise all the time so never heard a word bad landing. Rattling plane Very cold.
Pros: On time
Cons: Take a long time to taxi to the gate & getting off the plane.
Pros: Overall experience was awesome. Always love to fly delta. Nice spacious and clean aircraft. Enjoyed the entertainment system.
Pros: It got me home, eventually.
Cons: Poor communication, a 6 hour delay followed by a 7 hour layover (during which we had to sleep on an airport floor because Delta couldn't offer us any hotel vouchers). Gate agents disappeared after 7pm becuase they were due to be done with their shifts when our flight was originally supposed to leave at 6 pm. It felt like we were trapped in the movie The Terminal. Oh! And our bag was misrouted, because that was just how things went those 2 days. All in all a 6 hour trip turned into 18 hours. I could have driven home in that amount of time!
Pros: Everything was in order
Cons: None really
Pros: The gate agent and cabin crew handled passenger's misery with friendly grace and professionalism. Also, it was an old plane and so the seats, even in coach, were comfortable.
Cons: Plane was around 45 minutes late in arriving at our Minneapolis gate. Flight was further delayed by something (unspecified) being "frozen." WORST part was that the temperature in the seating area at the gate was horribly cold. Departing passengers at a neighboring gate were bound for Fargo and sat with their parkas on and with parka hoods up. We Houston-bound had packed our coats & boots and were shivering. Then when we finally boarded the crew announced that the plane's water system was broken and so we would have no hot coffee or hot tea or hot anything. No water, also and obviously, in the restroom sink. But sani-wipes were provided in the sink basin.
Cons: On the MSP to ATL leg the gate crew made a huge deal about checking rolling bags. They even stopped us at check-in and nearly begged us to check our bags pointing to the backed up jetway. But we had a lot of unpacking to do before checking our bags so we politely declined three times. On getting to our seats there were at least 8 open slots for bags near us. I heard a crew member call forward to say "tell them no more rollaboards" so they forced everyone left to check. On departure they slammed shut several very large empty overheads. WTF
Pros: All was quiet. It was an early flight. Nice offer of more snack choices than other airlines.
Cons: Didn't understand why I had to wait until getting to the gate to have a seat assigned when I purchased tickets several months ago. Since I was in the last boarding group, Had to check in my bag since it was already full, had fragile stuff in there and hoping everything is ok. it is what it is. Not anyone's fault but disappointing to have to do when I didn't plan on checking in and going to pick up at the baggage claim. This is what i wanted to avoid in the first place. could have at least offered to let us pick them up as we deplaned and not baggage claim!
Pros: Nothing. Regretted purchasing my flight with Sun Country would have much rather flown Delta. Worse than Spirit airlines.
Cons: No COVID precautions. Definitely not 6 feet apart procedures. No cleaning nor sanitation done for seats. Delta at least provides hand sanitizer wipes. & has middle seats closed off due to COVID. Hate that they charge for even a carry on. Ridiculous. Should have flown Delta.
Pros: Everything was well executed; friendly staff, clean plane, good entertainment options
Cons: My seat was hard and worn out.
Cons: More room!
Pros: The seats are closer together - by my measurement 10 in between the back of the sone in front of me and my armrest. Luggage is checked luggage is $25; on my flight to Minneapolis, my luggage was lost for 30 hrs and wet on the inside when my daughter picked it up the next afternoon. It was not raining when our flight took off from NYC. The seats seem thinner on the cushion and if someone puts their seat in front of you, even slightly, it is very cramped. The flight was about 1/2 hour late taking off with what I counted as at least 10 planes ahead of us - most domestic - SW, other SunCountry and Delta. I have flown Sun Country periodically for the last 10 years. Now, I am done for all the reasons listed above. I have flown on other airlines this year and other than Alaska this was the least comfortable - actually it occured to me in an emergency it would have been very difficult to get out of my row. I understand this is a business - just not interested in buying from it.
Cons: On July 7th, I was flying from JFK to MSP and then from MSP to PDX. Somewhere on the way, Sun Country Airlines lost my bag and they don't seem to have any idea where it might be. I was forced to spend my entire vacation without my bag. It's been 16 days, we called the baggage services office several times, wrote e-mails, even talked to someone in person in the MSP office and yet nobody's able to help. All we got were promises for a call back about the status of the claim, but nobody ever calls or responds to e-mails. I'm extremely disappointed and will call DOT and FAA if I don't get a response very soon.
Pros: Desk staff member very helpful When departures was busy more staff were called immediately
Cons: Difficult to navigate online payment for extra baggage. Inconsistency about carry on sizes We paid for extra leg room in an exit row and we're given a very brief safety talk while 2 others asked to sit in an exit row and were given no instructions
Pros: I liked the crew and the fact that I could reserve a seat. I also like that they use terminal A in the DEN airport and terminal 2 at MSP.
Cons: The legroom was none existent, my seat was hard as rock, and it did not recline. Also, aisle seats have smaller under seat space than the other seats.
Pros: No food nor entertainment, thus low ratings in those areas. You could buy snacks but I brought a granola bar to go with complimentary coffee, which was good. Hated paying extra for checked bag and seat reservations. Added $58 to fare but it was cheap.
Cons: On time.
Cons: Sun Country should warn the average family and business traveler if they intend to cater to drunk 20/30 yr old adults on the first leg of their Florida vacation. Instead, 2 of the flight attendants joined in the loud chants and cheers. The flight attendants attitude was disappointing, and unprofessional. Their motto should be "Party Plane". About 12 loud and obnoxious party goers made it a miserable flight. One flight attendant asked them to quiet down. Two flight attendants joined in with the partying and yelled and chanted along with them. One flight attendant ignored the situation.
Pros: The plane was actually a bit early in leaving which was nice.
Cons: Could see baggage handlers throwing items on the conveyer belt. Always an issue to me. Like most flights these days, the seats were cramped but not as bad as others.
Pros: Mediocrity is really the aim of an airline this tier, correct?
Cons: The hour delay, on top of an already 3-hour layover, in a terminal that wasn't even connected to the rest of the airport. The least you could do in a situation like this offer complimentary snacks to make up for it.
Pros: Lots of room and I had an exit row. The staff was friendly.
Pros: Everything ran smoothly
Pros: Every thing
Cons: Don’t know yet
Cons: Flight Attendant skipped our row when offering drinks. No wifi, no entertainment, no snacks. Paid $25 to check one small bag.
Pros: leg space OK
Cons: we were moved to a different gate for boarding. Then the flight ahead of ours had mechanical problems and we were informed of a 1 hour delay. Then we were moved back to our original gate. There were some elderly folks who were quite confused and other passengers had to help them understand the changes.
Pros: Friendliness, clean aircrafts, leather seats, larger seats, tray tables, on time, willingness of ticketing agents to move your seat
Cons: No snacks (free), must pay for a seat
Pros: As to be expected, the cabin was crowded. The flight attendants were great and the service superb.
Cons: There was a three hour delay, perhaps due to weather. The late plane arrived, as expected, at 1 pm, with a departure time of 1:40 pm. Including a needed ten minute de-icing procedure, we actually took-off at 2:30 pm. I never found out what caused the three hour delay.
Pros: The way they treat the passengers with care.
Cons: there was no entertainer Chennel
Pros: friendly fast and efficient!
Cons: Sitting in the back of the plane!
Pros: Friendly attendants and an on time departure. Flying terminal 2 in Minneapolis is easy and much less crowded.
Cons: It was too cold.
Cons: Flight was an hour late. Unprofessional staff.
Cons: They wouldn't let me on the plane. See about
Pros: Direct flight at a great price.
Pros: Always a pleasure to fly Sun Country
Cons: I was one of the last ones to check in on a flight I had already purchased a ticket for in economy seats but had to pay $15 extra at check in for an economy seat. Paying extra should be if I want to upgrade a seat and not for a seat in an area that I already paid for. This was definitely not an upgraded seat. I will avoid flying Sun Country in the future.
Pros: 2nd leg of flight... Again, Everything was great, no complaints. The roomy, leather seats made the 21/2 hr flight easy. The crew was very respectful and professional. The way flying is suppose to be. Thank you. John
Cons: No complaints.
Pros: I always have a good experience on Sun Country.
Cons: small seats and when we go into the air there were plenty of seats to spread out. The crew should have announced that it would okay to disberse.
Pros: Great service amd friendly
Pros: Flight went on time, the price was great, Appreciated the complimentary beverage, The crew was nice
Pros: Quick smooth flight with professional service, would recommend.
Cons: It was impossible to find a dog carrier that was up to your standards. I ended up settling for something last minute. It would be nice if pet standards were more clearly identifiable.
Pros: courteous staff
Cons: Delayed due to weather. Not much to do there.
Pros: Great price Easy reservation to make Well organized at the gate and with boarding On time
Cons: I did not find that I had any input as to seat selection
Pros: Flight was better then expected.
Pros: Friendly staff. Helpful. Accommodating.
Pros: The smooth boarding and friendly flight attendants
Pros: would absolutely fly Sun Country again! Clean plane. on time. last minute flight was an awesome price!!
Pros: Easy check-in at ticketing.
Pros: Thank you, SunCountry. This was our first time on your airline and I could not have been more impressed. The process was smooth, simple and extremely timely. Also appreciate the allowance of a carry on at no extra cost. The staff was pleasant and kind. We really enjoyed our experience.
Cons: Didn't get to Denver via Sun Country, please see previous.
Pros: Short and smooth
Cons: Because we booked through a third party , kayak, we could not pre-check in online
Cons: We never got off the ground because of mechanical problem. I was sent back to the terminal where I waited in line for 2.5 hours. Finally SC put me on a different airline on a flight that left 12 hours later. No compensation for food or other costs incurred as a result of this problem. I understand that things don't always go right but it is important to provide good customer service on those occasions. SC failed me.
Pros: The aircraft was convenient
Cons: The flight was delayed for an hour and then the bagging claim took too much time so I missed my bus.
Pros: Everything about the experience was good. The airplane was comfortable and clean.
Pros: As a tall person I was very pleased that there was enough leg room for my legs to be comfortable. Not only that but the flight left even before it was suppose to, which is also very nice.
Cons: The food wasn't free, but that was expected.
Pros: The crew was clearly concerned with the covid rules, but just as concerned for passenger's needs. Outstanding performance in difficult circumstances.
Cons: Missed connecting flight to El Paso and had to wait for hours in the airport on standby
Cons: Great flight
Pros: I was lucky enough not to be put into a middle seat or next to a stranger during this pandemic.
Cons: No social distancing and no enforcement of wearing a mask properly. Wearing one on your chin or half of your mouth with your nose hanging out needs to be corrected. Empty seats should be utilized for social distancing regardless of fare. First class and the back half of the planes were practically empty while everyone was in the center. We should have been allowed to spread out.
Pros: Good seats, comfortable w headrest adjustable
Pros: The crew was great!
Cons: We had a difficult time getting in the air in the air. We left 1.5 hours late! Not AA fault!
Cons: The flight was delayed.
Pros: Crew was fine.
Cons: The first class seats on these newer 737-800s are VERY disappointing. Width is ok, but legroom is on par with economy expectations. With my tray out and the person in front of me reclined, I could barely see my laptop. There is also very little space under the seats, especially for the aisle seat.
Cons: The flight attendant that helped passengers in the main cabin was rude, lacked empathy, and lacked resourcefulness. She argued about throwing away a drink that she poured, didn’t care to explain things to passengers when asked i. e. why charging outlets were not in service, and her tone was rude ...
Pros: The attendant for my area was amazing. I was in the back of the plane and he was friendly. He helped me look for my power cord. He is an outstanding member of your team!
Cons: Nope, this was a great flight!
Cons: I've flown American airlines twice this year. The service and flights have been very good. One thing I'd like to see is a variety of snack options.
Pros: Boarding process was easy.
Cons: Different snack options.
Pros: Trip went smoothly
Pros: Equipment was adequate. I liked the on board emergency instructions!
Cons: Boarding was chaotic—no lines, just a mass of people all trying to get to the same place. The crew did their job but weren’t particularly friendly.
Pros: Crew was great. Made sure I made my connection. Even tried to get me a better placement so I could quickly exit and head to my next flight.
Cons: It wa super cold on my second flight. Small plane, rather loud.
Cons: Potentially of hiccups and things outside of AA control. Better, more comfortable seats would be nice.
Pros: Short flight. Connection was gate next door.
Cons: Seating was for waif midgets.
Pros: Everyone was super friendly. The plane was clean and comfortable and the food was great for airplane food.
Pros: Generally, the stewardess are new (slow service), but very kind and considerate.
Cons: I take this flight quite a lot. These comments are for this flight (MIA/MSP) - but not necessarily only for this exact flight that I took on 10/1. To be clear - the crew says "this is not AA", it is Republic Airlines". Well, they must think of themselves very poorly. Their food in first class is always changing - oh, I meant only the names for the same exact meal change. "Grilled Chicken with Couscous", "Grilled Chicken with Risotto", etc.. - all cold meals as they do not have an oven/microwave? on the plane. They are charging first class international prices for economy domestic service. For this amount of money, they should have better meals and a more modern airplane. The first class is always freezing (even in summer) while the rear cabin where the crew stays when not working, is hot. So if they make the first class happy with the correct temperature, they cook in the back. I have also observed more people than usual coughing and getting colds - both ways - than any of the other flights I take regularly (over 115,000 miles on AA this year). I would suggest that AA make it clear that Republic must offer better service to their customers - especially for the large airfares they are receiving.
Pros: They seem to have more time for the passengers then other airlines do
Pros: The flight was on time, cabin crew looked nice and professional, AA stuff at the airport of departure was very helpful with complicated check-in procedure.
Cons: It was a short flight (less than an hour) and only complimentary drinks were offered, no little snacks (like pretzels, peanuts or cookies).
Pros: Let's see - I was in first class. The flight itself was fine - and only one hour + late!
Cons: Food - Served the "breakfast" (when it was called a protein plate) I had coming (into MSP). for "lunch" on the way back (called it a meat plate for lunch. One slice turkey, one slice jamon, one egg, cinnamon roll and fruit. Just because they don't want to serve bread - they call it a protein plate? I'm not on a protein diet. Food was pretty sick for the amount I paid for the fight. Stewardess said it was against Republic's rules to give a customer a can of tonic water (so I could add to the small amount of vodka) - she also told me that it was against Delta's, American's and United's rules to give a can - strange? First Class seat did not recline. First Class was freezing per every flight on this segment (the stewardesses sit in the back and don't want to be uncomfortable - if they make the front warm - the back is too hot for them (not joking on this one). So many things to list - that I will finish on the AA site.
Pros: We were rerouted through Philadelphia.
Pros: Flight was on time, crew were great.
Cons: Flight delays and cancellations.
Pros: Good communication from the captain
Cons: The delays
Pros: Great service.
Pros: Good and entertainment
Cons: I have short legs so the long flight was uncomfortable. A stop of some sort would helpnif offered
Pros: Called 1-800 hotline and got a new flight
Cons: Was at gate onntime for flight. At boarding time passengers were informed if there was an issue with the plane and maintenance is on their way to check out the problem. 30 minutes later we were still till that maintenance is on their way. One hour later there is still no information as far as when the fight will leave but they kept updating the boarding time. There was only one person of the counter who could help re-assign passengers to different flights due to their layovers. After waiting in line for 40 minutes and the line making no movement I called the airline 1-800 hundred number and explain my situation to the American Airlines Airlines representative. they really give me a new flight that left 20 minutes later after my call if I did not call I would not mean it that flight nor any other fights that morning because they're all in the afternoon.
Pros: Boarding staff helped me change to a seat that was suited better for my child and I- I was SO grateful. During the flight, flight staff made sure my child was happy/comfortable which meant a lot to me.
Cons: The normal things- better cushioned seats with some lumbar for those of us with back/nerve issues; a little wider seat options in economy for heavier people or those with lap infants; Honestly I’m reaching because I was just really happy with my flight/plane/crew service.
Cons: Took off late from Minneapolis only to announce that there was something wrong with the plane, no explanation as to what but that we had to circle to burn off fuel before returning to Minneapolis. Switched to a flight to D.C. with a connection to get to LGA. As soon as we sat down on that flight an announcement was made that we wouldn't make our connecting flight. Got to D.C. and asked to switch to go into Westchester instead of LGA which we were denied. So changed to another connecting flight to LGA that didn't take off on time. Offered nothing for any of the inconveniences. Etc.
Pros: Wider seats.
Cons: I left an expensive Bose head set in my seat that could not be found....or did smobody decide it was better in their possession.?
Cons: Arrived 1 hr before my flight and they wouldn't check me in. I believe they overbook the flight and turn customer down. They even gave me hard time during rebooking us. Never again.
Cons: delayed 2 hrs in perfect weather
Pros: The crew was friendly and competent.
Cons: Airlines have an industry wide problem. They INTENTIONALLY make every part of flying miserable so that passengers will pay anything to make it less painful. For example... if you want to make boarding quicker, build the cost of checked luggage into ticket prices so that you don't have people carrying everything on and clogging up the process. Or use the existing and publicly available research to improve boarding mechanisms... but that would mean you lose an opportunity to squeeze extra cash out of people for 'priority boarding'. This phenomenon is real, and currently be investigated by congress. Call your senator.
Pros: Find America airlines very expensive and then you check on the back charge the sea charge .
Cons: Don't know why they would load the plane then to have you wait for 10 minutes 15 minutes why they deal with that mechanical issue.
Cons: Flight was cancelled we were re-routed and didn't get there until 24hours later.
Pros: The flight staff did the best they could for how few of them there were.
Cons: Flight cancelled, and the gate was understaffed, so it took forever to even get up to the counter to try arranging alternate flights. Also, the Kayak/Webjet tickets we were issued interfered with the process as the airline could not reissue us tickets directly. Moreover, one Kayak & Webjet got actively involved, they even tried to deny us passage on the alternate flights that American Airlines suggested. By the time we did make it up to the desk, everything was taken/full for the next few days & we have been struggling to make our overseas travel even possible ever since.
Pros: It was nice that I had a seat empty next to me, allowing for extra room. Flight was a little early in landing in Dallas, allowing for extra time for a short layover to find my terminal and gate for my next flight.
Cons: All was good.
Pros: The food, in flight entertainment and attention to detail by the Flight Attendants was very good.
Cons: The personnel handling the front desk at check in gave myself and others bad information about how to check a bag. Which resulted in me being called to the desk at the gate about 30 minutes prior to boarding and being told I screwed up checking my bag when I was just following the instructions given to me. Was then told I had to leave the secure area of the airport, go back to the front to check my bag all within 30 minutes of boarding. when I returned thru the TSA checkpoint they were rude, obviously, but more importantly the flight was boarding early. So you could've 1. told me what the actual procedure is for checking my bag instead of telling me "just leave it by the green lit up check mark then 2. told me at the gate that not only do i need to go fix your mistakes for you but that youd also board my flight early thereby putting me in jeopardy of missing my flight. all i got was a very insincere apology when I complained up front and at the gate about the airline's screw up. i get that you're all human like me and make mistakes but the customer is always right. there was a time in this country when customer appreciation and service were important standards and qualities businesses thrived on. Don't know what happened to those days... Also i should not need to be a first class passenger to get a meal during a flight. whatever happened to meals for everyone? you (all airlines in the US) charge way too much money and provide poor service compared to pre-9-11 days. I dont see how one event can justify the loss in service but the increase in ticket price. you should all get back to what flying should be about: fun and time saving.
Cons: Think it is ridiculous that I had to pay so much to select a seat ahead of time, and it was just a regular seat. I can understand for extra legroom or exit row, but for a regular seat, that is ridiculous. Then there was a fee to change priority boarding, so I could ensure I was able to have my carry-on with me, instead of risk having it go underneath. Unable to use the entertainment, as I was unaware had to use my own device, which I had not set up in advance.
Cons: The worst experience I ever had in thirty years of flying. I missed my flight because even though I got to LAX two hours before the flight, I had to wait on the baggage check for two and a half hours. The attendants were texting and talking and not servicing the passengers. When I told American attendants and supervisors that I was going to miss my flight unless they got me through they were clueless and didn't care about me or any of the passengers. The entire American staff were the most disorganized and careless flight personnel I have ever seen. Them they put me on a standby flight, where I was number eight and five minutes later was number eighteen, so I missed that, too. My wife is one of the top Public Relations people in Los Angeles and we both have tweeted and posted on social media extensively about this horrendous experience. I require a full refund from American Airlines for my airfare, and if I don't receive it from you will take you to court. --Eric Red
Pros: The staff tried to help as much as possible.
Cons: I called American Airlines as ssoon as I book my trip to set up and make sure my small dog could fly with me. They neglected to inform me their partner, jetstar, does not fly animals. My luggage did not arrive with me. Both of my suitcases were mangled and broken. Items in my suitcases were shattered and crushed even though they were well packed and protected. We got stuck on the terminal in MSP and missed our connecting flight. When we finally arrived the systems were down and could not get new flights or hotels. We were told we could not get hotels and had to argue for an hour. Even though it was a maintenance issue. I arrived a day late and had to take extra leave. The plane from LAX to Tokyo was horrific. I booked a window seat, was stuck in the very middle. There was no way to charge outlets devices. The screen did not work. And my new luggage was also damaged with even more items destroyed.
Pros: the crew is fantastic
Cons: normally a meal and other entertainment services are included when upgrading to first class. it even indicated such items would be included when i purchased my upgrade. Very disappointed i wasted my money.
Cons: They didn't give my parents who are in their 80s seats together, that's not right.
Pros: The flights left on time and arrived early. It reminded me of the old days when everything ran like clock-work.
Cons: The leg room was barely enough for me and I'm 5'4". I can't imagine people much larger than me being comfortable at all. Also, the chair made my back hurt, so I did a lot of sitting up straight as opposed to being "in the chair". I noticed that you had snacks for purchase on the flight, but the free snacks were cookies and pretzels. It would be nice to offer a trail mix or dried fruit. Pretzels are good for people who might be a little sick at their stomach, but better snacks are a nice option. I ordered coffee and it was perfect. Overall, the flight was a good flight, just a little tweaking and it would be great. Thanks for asking.
Pros: Friendly and prompt service.
Pros: The crew was really good, made sure our needs were met.
Cons: The seats were quite crammed.
Pros: The crew were very nice and the seats were comfy.
Cons: I would have liked a snack instead of just a beverage alone.
Cons: Internet WiFi
Pros: Seem to be a smooth and direct flight
Cons: The flight was fine however my seat was next to the bathroom and people would occasionaly Bump in to me .
Cons: It was the first of three flights. I was automatically rebooked on a flight that didn’t allow nearly enough time to make my connection. United didn’t want to help because only one of the flights was really theirs. Same with Swiss Air. It was a terrible beginning to my trip. I lost money on shuttle fair since I never went to Minneapolis, too.
Pros: I cant say nothing but can say everything was good
Cons: I cant say nothing but can say everything was good
Cons: Our flight was delayed out of Mpls 2 hours so we had to rebook everything since we would miss our connection in Denver to Honolulu. The process of rebooking was terrible -- took almost 2 hours standing in line and the booking agent wasn't knowledgable Had to make an additional stop in LAX and arrived in Honolulu 5 hours later than we were supposed to. VERY disappointing experience all around!
Pros: Service and respect very good
Pros: On time, friendly, overall great!
Pros: The friendliness of the crews.
Cons: The landing was a little bumpy.
Pros: The price of a ticket is slightly lower. It is not enough of a difference to make the plethora of inconveniences worth it. You are not a valued customer with this fare. If United values customers, they shouldn't offer this fare. That's why I don't fly the bargain airlines.
Cons: You can't check in at the kiosk on basic economy without an employee badge swipe, and there were no employees available. I had to stop checking in, wait in line, and then the employee that I talked to didn't have the right kind of badge to swipe. So I waited again. Extremely inconvenient. Even after being forced to talk to a ticket agent at check in, they still won't issue a seat. So you have to go to the gate and wait in line again to get a seat. The system is built for maximum inefficiency. It doesn't cost less for them to make me talk to two separate people, it is only to inconvenience the flyer for buying a cheaper ticket. It seems like a punitive system. Boarding was organized and painless. The crew seemed polite. Regarding comfort, the "leg room" on the airbus is ridiculous. I am average height and felt claustrophobic. I can't imagine how a tall person feels. There was no " entertainment" on my flight, so one star for that. I didn't not receive any food and was not offered water, 1 star.
Pros: Very friendly staff. Very smooth bag check. It was crowded but the line moved quickly. Boarding was very organized and easy to maneuver. The flight was very enjoyable and we actually landed 20 minutes early. United has once again provided an excellent flying experience!
Cons: There was no part of the entire united experience I did not like.
Pros: Easy boarding, on time take off
Cons: Arrived early (yay), but had to sit on the runway for 45 minutes waiting for a gate and ended up getting to the gate later than the original expected time. Pretty ridiculous.
Pros: I liked the savory snack mix.
Cons: It was not made clear at all that I was buying a basic economy ticket and was not going to be allowed to take a carry on. That was really frustrating.
Pros: $155 roundtrip cost with limitations described before purchasing tickets. It would be much better to at least be able to take a backpack as a carry-on, but all costs were included in the price except luggage and that was reasonable at $25/bag.
Cons: Not being able to take a backpack as a carry-on
Cons: There was no provided entertainment
Pros: I didn't like anything from united.
Cons: I really didn't like how the agent by gate presented herself. She was rude and disrespectful. She wouldn't let me get hold of my son who was flying with frontier to Denver get my book. Than frontier charged my son $45 for a small bag. This is sad
Pros: Very nice large roomy airplane
Pros: On time, no delays.
Pros: Easy in/out of the plane.
Cons: Wifi Entertainment wasn't working.
Pros: Being on time
Cons: Flight delayed and sat on tarmac. For 1/2 hour
Pros: Room for my luggage
Pros: Good service and on time
Cons: Not having a seat assignment before arriving to the airport.
Cons: Landing at dulles - we had to deplane from the outside. Would be nice to have it connected so we walk from plane to covered ramp inside to airport. Didn't serve a snack and they usually do.
Pros: One of the best flights I have ever been on! Everything was right on time.
Cons: Unable to pre-check online. Unable to check at the check in machines--had to go up and check in at the counter, long wait because there was only one clerk. We were then given a ticket just to get through security and had to check in a second time when we get to the gate for seat assignment, which is ridiculous. Why couldn't that be done at the 1st check-in? The clerk told me she will call me when she has the seat assignment/ boarding ticket but she never did and I had to go back up to ask for them when it was getting close to boarding time. At the last moment minutes, volunteers could check in their carry on for free....It would have been nice (and less hassle) to have that option at the 1st check-in.
Pros: The lady helping me before boarding plan was awesome thanks enjoy your week
Pros: I like being in an earlier boarding group and sitting by a window.
Cons: Seats are too close together and reclining makes it very uncomfortable for the person behind the recline.
Cons: I'm 6'tall...NOT that tall and felt cramped the entire time.
Pros: The staff was friendly
Pros: a lot of the times the planes are freezing, would like to see pillows and blankets offered more in economy
Pros: My knees were literally in the person in front of me back of the chair.
Cons: They make you check your standard crayon bag because it "looks" too big. Even after putting in the size bin they have.
Pros: plenty of leg room and space
Cons: There were 3 delays and 3 gate changes ....very inconvenient Rude to dismissive employees (mostly Chicago o'hara)
Pros: Speed and ease of our return home.
Cons: We got in SO early, there was no gate ready for us at Newark, so we had to stay on board at least 30 min. Also they didnt allow even 1 person waiting in queue for bathroom, so if you sat down you'd lose your place.
Pros: Nice folks and getting on was not a chore. Overall it was between good and excellent.
Cons: My wife and I got to sit together, due to the courtesy of a GI moving so we could. Our 12 yr old grand daughter was one row behind and across the aisle from us.
Pros: Absolutely nothing
Cons: Airplane was damaged and united wouldn't rebook us until the flight was officially cancelled hours later. Then United provided only one service person to address all of the passengers needs so we had to stand in line for a couple hours longer. Then they had no hotel rooms to put anybody up for the night that couldn't get a flight until the next day. Then they gave us a measly $10 food voucher. Then our luggage was mishandled has still has not shown up to my house. Then because of the change in flights I had to rearrange transportation home at 1130 pm that cost me an extra $125. A very miserable day because of United's lack of being proactive and poor decision making given the situation and circumstances.
Pros: First leg had free streaming on your own device, which was awesome!
Pros: The flight was safe, the crew courteous and hard working.
Cons: Seating is horrific. It is not healthy fur people.
Pros: Love junction airport
Cons: DIA is always nice and kayak was a great service and price.
Pros: It was a good flight.
Cons: No complaints.
Pros: Overall good flight. Very quick! :) nice pilot
Cons: Nothing in particular.
Pros: Seat too tight couldn't move at all
Cons: Seat too tight couldn't move at all
Pros: We got here
Cons: Lost luggage
Cons: Very slow boarding. The entire last boarding group had to gate check our bags, despite there being lots of room in the overhead bins when we got on. Then we had to go to baggage claim to retrieve them, rather than having them unloaded quickly and returned to us when we de-boarded. My carry-on is no longer clean; it not has big black spots on it, and came though the baggage claim partially wet from the rain. I was not happy.
Cons: Flight was over 2 hrs delayed so I couldn't even take the flight. Waste of my money. Paid 330 dollars and got nothing. Now United nor you guys are helping. Never again will I use this site
Pros: Organized, calm and considerate to travelers.
