Cons: "Flight was delayed out of St. Louis causing several of us to miss our connecting flight from Salt Lake City to Portland. Delta was of very little help in assisting us in making a connecting flight. They could have at least helped with travel arrangements and provided us with a little food, a pillow and a blanket as we waited in their terminal for the next flight on their airline which was a several hour wait. I understand these things happen but the passengers didn't cause the problem and Delta needs to take care of people better if they expect to earn repeat business."

Cons: "We lost our whole vacation and had to pay for the plans fare twice because My last name was spelled wrong on our tickets and we were unable to use them because my passport didn’t match the name on the ticket. We had to rebook everything pay almost twice as much for the plane fare, our Lodi g cost more and our trip was delayed for two weeks. Vyama is blaming us for spelling our name wrong and claimes that it’s our fault this happened because everything is automated. There saying they don’t touch anything that we enter into the booking but somehow everything they claim we entered is now in all capital letters and the space between our first name and middle name is now gone and all run together. The coustomer service number gets you to someone in India. I have tried to get this addressed four times now at first they tried to place the responsibility on the airlines now us and they have hung up on me twice. Kayak has been worthless, they also just pass the responsibility on to someone else. We will never use them again ant I intend to make sure that this mess is put out in social media to hopefully keep others from having their travel plans ruined by their flawed system."
Cons: "They changed my flight to a different one departing 2 hours earlier and did not notify me! The original flight was still available & they would not let me take it despite my reservation paper work. CRAZY! I have a two hour drive to the airport this gave me the option to leave home at 2:30am or go the night before and pay for a hotel. Flight was managed by DELTA who also did not care! All involved blamed each other. Beware"

Pros: "During my experience on 19 November I encountered only wonderful crew members, from the gate attendants to the on-flight crew. Everyone was extremely helpful and kind."
Cons: "Earlier in the day when I was checking in, there was a prompt to be added to the list of volunteers to take a different flight should one of my later flights (it did not specify, I flew from DAY to ATL, and then ATL to ORF) was overbooked. My schedule was accommodating enough that I selected yes. In ATL I was called up as a potential volunteer as they needed 3 volunteers to take a later flight that day. I was told that I was not initially assigned a seat since I had earlier agreed to be a potential volunteer. I was okay with all of this. We were told that the decision would be made at the end of boarding, and we would know if our seats were needed. At the end of boarding they called for the 3 volunteers to board. I was the last one to board and was given my seat assignment. Once I got on the plane I saw that someone had already been assigned my seat and let a flight attendant know what had happened. I stood on the plane for about 10 minutes while the flight attendants and other crew members tried to figure out what had happened. My name was not listed under any cabin (main, comfort, etc) even though I had a ticket and a seat assignment. Eventually they had to open the doors again for me to get off the plan as there were no available seats. Once I got back to the gate podium I was booked on a later flight, as would have been the case had the normal course of action for volunteering to give up my seat taken place. Everyone was extremely helpful in trying to figure out what had happened, but it was still frustrating that it had to happen in that way. Luckily I don't believe the delay caused any major delay for the flight. In the end, things worked out fine, it just seems as though this is an issue that didn't need to happen."

It was delayed in 30 min increments, which made it hard to do anything else around the airport since I was constantly in a state of "about to board." A frustrating experience. Cons: "My original flight was cancelled and the first available flight was 3 days later. BA booked me on the flight but failed to change my ticket from the original flight causing me to miss the flight from Kansas City. At the airport BA agent told me on the phone that I would have to wait 3 more days after I had already waited 3 days because BA canceled my original flight. Because of the flight cancelation I missed two days of work and because of the failure to ticket my following flight I almost missed a full week of work. The BA booking person seemed content that there was no way I could make it to Saudi prior to the end of the week. Fortunately, the AA agent was able to find a way for me to continue my trip on a later flight."

We wound up taking a tram to another terminal, found out that we were in the wrong place, and then made it back just in time to board with a few minutes to spare. Anyway, the airline itself was o.k. and next time I'll check the arrival/departure board. Since we were traveling with only a carry on, it was a good price after all the "frills" were added (pay for carry on, pay to select seat). we still had a price lower than any other airline. So all in all, once we got on the plane it was a pleasant experience."

Loved the flight times, and because of them, we were able to have half a day on departure day (Thursday 3:30 pm) to drop off dogs, pack and run errands and some work and arriving back home (Tuesday 9:46 am) gave us all day to work and get ready for the week."

Those should have been included in the initial payment, because I could have rented same vehicle for $40 less through Alamo website,(final payment w/ T&F's) That was a waste of your customer's money."

We got the feeling the flight was delayed all day - would have preferred a heads up so we could have enjoyed more time NOT in the airport!!!"

I intentionally fly with a carry on for the convenience, and to be inconvenienced for absolutely no reason made me not want to fly with this company again for fear it could happen again in the future."

Instead we waited for the sun to thaw the airplane and further waited for a fuel truck afterwards. Only the first three rows have reclining seats that you pay extra for. I only recommend frontier for SHORT commutes, as the seats really are that uncomfortable with very little padding. NEVER AGAIN!"

Definitely check the hidden costs before booking. Then came a 5 hour delay of the flight, apparently the plane had mechanical issues at it's previous stop. Frontier provided $10 meal vouchers, which doesn't go far in an airport. Seats don't recline at all and you feel like you're in a cattle car. The seat back tray is about 6" and doesn't hold much. The combination of turbulence and a pilot yanking the plane around during landing brought out the air sick bags by several passengers around me. Then on the ground, he was racing around and taking turns like an Indy500 race car. I seriously thought he was going to do a handbrake turn into the parking spot. Frontier provided vouchers worth $100 per ticket for the flight, but only good for another Frontier flight. I don't think so..."

It is worse when everything in the airport to kill time is shut down, but I digress. Then the plane comes in around 2am, everyone on the flight gets off, then the announcement comes that they don't have a crew for our flight now, and we will have to wait until 9am for the next flight. Whoopsies! This is no longer a delay -- this is a major F-up by Frontier that affected dozens of already very weary customers (the staff admitted to it being a flub). Once boarded, people complained, as you'd expect, and one stewardess responded "Well, you can pay $400 with somebody else, or pay under $100 here." THAT was your response?? She was stating a fact, I realize this, but that was the wrong answer at the wrong time, lady. I know you get what you pay for, but my expectations don't go completely out the window. And don't be proud to be a F-up airline that merely exists on its price point. It's one thing to be one, it's another thing to wave a flag about it. And the cherry on top is what Frontier did to make it right. Another steward on the plane explained how rare this phenomenon is that we just experienced. Well if it really is rare, and inconveniences their customers to this degree, you would expect them to take strong measures to make it right, no? Any restaurant would, a car rental would, etc, if it was such a rare mistake. What did Frontier do? $7 breakfast voucher. Just punch us in the face next time. There are people that have powered through your barely-existent customer service, and those "gotcha" fees that first-time customers run into (at least Frontier hopes they do), and still liked your airline. Then you go and do something to drive even us loyals away. All you had to do was do what airlines run by thoughtful human beings do and issue flight vouchers during this rare mistake, and it would have been a microscopic write-off. Instead -- face punch, and "justification" behind it of all things. Unreal Frontier, even for you."

When my parents were scheduled to leave my dad tried asking for Frontier airlines to give my mom a voucher for another flight so she could stay a few days longer until he passed. Frontier airlines refused and then tried charging my dad a cancellation fee of $96. The whole reason I paid for my parents trip is because they had no money and then Frontier airlines tried charging double price for cancellation fee. My mom then had to buy her ticket home for $190. We have always used Southwest Airlines in the past due to their no fees for luggage and very accommodating to cancellations. Upsetting that during extremely hard times in our life we have the stress of picking to stay with you sibling until the end or not missing your flight."

Wrong."
Cons: "The flight was delayed and the airline charges for everything. They tried to charge me for my CARRYON bag which is hilarious, and I proceeded to say I would not pay that charge. The attendant let me board the plane anyway and I put my carryon in the overhead without an issue, which deeply concerns me. It seems as if Frontier arbitrarily tacks on that charge, tricking their customers like con artists who will fall for this absurdity. The air conditioning did not work well and they almost forgot to give us water. Maybe they even charged for the water. The attendants were rude. Dont fly Frontier unless you really really really need to save a dime or two."
