Eventually, after about 6 minutes, he managed to control his breathing and still no flight attendant to be seen. Only after 20 minutes while distributing the meals, one of the attendants shuts the call sign of and continues. This is not the service we usually get from Avianca!"

May be nice to have an ear set for personnel so they aren’t hollering amidst the chaos. Honestly, I sat at Gate E16 for almost 2 hours and genuinely want to say, “Great job!” to Frank. He kept a level head through the madness and maintained his professionalism all the while. Thank you for your hard work, Frank. We need more like you."

Pros: "The flight to New York was not full and I was surprised when the representative automatically upgrades me to an even-more seat, which I found great because at 6-feet tall I had a tough time on the way to England being in the right spaces at the rear of the airplane."

Pros: "There was an air traffic back-up for a few minutes, and instead of just letting us sit there wondering what was going on, the pilot gave us periodic updates on what was happening, which made the process much easier. Also, the flight attendants were friendly, which makes a big difference."

Cons: "The "valet" checking of larger carry on bags was not acceptable. Passengers were expected to load their bags on a large cart while airline workers stood by watching them struggle, including the elderly. I was very disappointed and embarrassed for this airline. Customer service is definitely not a priority!"

Cons: "The plane seating layout was crammed. I had to sit uncomfortably the entire flight to avoid cuddling with the passenger next to me. Total sardine can."

Cons: "Flight was delayed by almost an hour Because all flights were delayed, the waiting area was crowded. Therefore, I sat in the "priority" boarding area. A representative came in and rudely ejected us from the area. I could understand if there were "priority" passengers who needed a seat, but nobody needed those seats. Customer service should have trumped their rules in this instance."

Then they packed us like sardines into the back row of the plane."

Cons: "Well we were suppose to leave at 1230 on flight 125 to Santiago August 11, and we didn't leave until almost 2 pm and they didn't tell us why we were inside of the place without any notice, and only gave us water while we waited it was my first time flying with AA and maybe last"
