The airplane from Houston to Rio and from Sao Paulo to Houston was way too cold for humans. I was fully bundled up with thick jeans, a hoodie, a jacket and, thin blanket provided and still I was freezing. The passengers near me were also complaining of the cold. The food was disgusting. It would be illegal to serve that food in jails in America. The crew was nice.

This information was disclosed only after I asked if the flight was on time because I had a international flight to catch at my final destination Sao Paulo - GRU. Instead of helping and apologizing for the hassle, the attendant said that I had to pay for my carry-on (that was 10kg) because I had another hand bag with my laptop in it. I said that I would not pay, and that Azul should return me money first for not delivering the service I purchase - which was the flight from Governador Valadares, MG to Sao Paulo, SP (with a quick stop in Belo Horizonte, MG). Instead they were making me miss my international flight, and besides not taking any responsibility for it, this woman is telling me that I had to pay for a carry on?!? I was mesmirized by the lack of sense of this flight attendant. After telling me that I was going to get in Sao Paulo at 9pm instead of 5pm, and that I would have to run to get a bus to another terminal and hopefully make it to my international flight that was at 10:20pm, she insisted I’d pay. I told her that if she could get me to my destination at 5pm maybe I wouldn’t mind paying, but since that wasn’t the case, and I’d have to run to try to catch another flight because of Azul Airlines, that she should really think about it and let it go, and let me go with my bag as a carry on. She gave me the ticket, and as I grabbed my bag and went towards the bus, she threatened me, saying that in Ipatinga and in Belo Horizonte (my first conection flight) they would not allow me on the plane with the carry on. Since the non-sense continued I just took her as a mentally disable person, and ignored her threat. A full bus and 2 vans headed to Ipatinga (100km away in a dangerous highway), packing the flight there, really making me think that this non-sense was just a way Azul Airlines figured out to save money in fuel. The flight was completely full, the AC not working properly, and with the heat and humidity people were smelly. It was absolutely awful. The flight attendants in Ipatinga (way nicer than the ones in Gov. Valadares), distributed water to the passengers that looked like they were about to faint, the ones sweating profusely, the elderly and the kids. By the way, the carry on bag was not an issue at the other airports. Once in Belo Horizonte I noticed that my original Azul flight from Belo Horizonte to Sao Paulo at 3:30pm as 1 hour and 15 minutes LATE. I run to the gate and explained what happened and after crying out loud was able to convince the Azul attendants to let me in on that flight so I wouldn’t miss my international flight. They made me wait until last minute but I cried: this is the flight I had a ticket for. It’s only fair you let me in! So they did. And I made my other flight. But not before I got upset, had a headache, stomach ache and felt demoralized by Azul staff."

For an international flight from Bogota where you have located your main airplane base ? I do believe that land staff is very poorly train compared to inflight crew. Cons: "A wheelchair was requested at both airports for boarding and at arrivals. On May 10, flight 265 they provide me with one up to the boarding door and advice me that they did not have personnel to provide the service from there to the plane entrance. That also happen to other people that were handicap. After discussions and protest they provide one person to move one by one the persons that were handicap."

Cons: "Going in to Quito. The drink was pour. Only offer once after that it was closed. Same food was offered. Again bread was soak and wet and cold."
Cons: "Then bathroom were nasty. No food or beverage available. No blankets. No pillows. No staff around. Uncomfortable seats."

Cons: "Only two Baggage return conveyor belts in FLL the monitors are not accurate as to which of the belts the flights will be unloaded."
Pros: "Airplane clean, staff was friendly, couteous and mostly bilingual. Food and drinks were appreciated and of good quality. We were allowed to check 3 bags without addt'l charges. Definitely felt welcomed and would fly Copa again."
Cons: "Long wait at airport check in so glad we arrived almost 3 hrs before our flight. Staff was pleasant but for some reason desk agent told us that the flight was completely sold out and without telling us, put my wife and I in middle seats in different rows. We were at airport very early and didn't realize until boarding what she had done. In flight staff assisted on the flight and moved us to an exit row where we were able to sit together. Luckily I counted at least 6 open seats and in the end we were happy. I'm not sure why she did what she did. Ironically, she (gate agent) was incredibly nice. Maybe it was simply and honest mistake."

Once arrived I had to connect to American Airlines flight and have to walk one mille and change to get to the other side of the airport. It will be ok, but I was with a 3 year old minor and I have to deal with this and the child"

Cons: "Lost my flight after connection with Turkish arrived late and lost my luggage, Latam has no office in Chicago so i had to call, didn't assist me on the phone with changing my flight, sent me to speak with American airlines that was operating the flight, asked for a supervisor on the phone but they declined. Second day at airport i found out they booked me on a three leg flight home at 8 AM althought i was on the phone with them at 1:30 AM and I was never informed about the flight they offered at 8 AM. I ended up paying again for a flight with United the same day."

Pros: "The flight itself was great because there were personal TVs for everyone that had a wide selection of movies and games. It had more categories on it but little time to explore in the short plane ride after the movie from BWI to MIA. Great pilot, little motion sickness and great staff."
Cons: "I did not like how I came with my family and the clerks did not even try to seat us together, just gave us our tickets and sent us on our way, even after mentioning we had under age kids with us and a 2 year old who WILL CRY if not seated next to my other 2 family members."

Cons: "Terrible terrible food- no TV (really? in 10 years flying to Colombia this was a first) seats were very uncomfortable, no room to move the legs, the seats were super old no room at all. I have traveled with LATAM before and I had good experiences, with no complains. But the flight from Bogota to Miami on may 29th was mediocre and it seems longer than it was. That plane should be used for shorter flights and not a 4 hour international flight. I am not expecting first class seats and 5 course meals. But for the same price I could have used other airlines."

Pros: "First of all, all of the information regarding the flight listed the carrier as Latam. However, the flight was actually an American flight. Based on the confusion I missed my outgoing flight. Thereafter I purchased a oneway ticket to Medellin on another airline only to learn that they cancelled my return flight. They wanted to charge me almost $600 to rebook! I ended purchasing a ticket with different carrier. Money paid to Latam was wasted."

Cons: "When I arrived to Jorge Chavez the ticket counter was down. I waited for 20 minutes and Brunella eventually gave me a boarding pass. The pass was hand written and missing information but she assured me it would be fine. When I attempted to go through security they informed me this wasn't a boarding pass and was missing information. They said I would have to go back downstairs to the desk again. have a visible disability that affects the way I walk, and typically I do not require a wheelchair. I give myself enough time to get to my destination, but thanks to Brunella I was running incredibly late. I finally arrived though my flight was then rerouted to Orlando due to weather conditions at Miami and never arrived in Miami. The pilot of this flight LA2514 decided he was done and wouldn't fly there at all. The passengers were informed they would take buses to Miami."

Pros: "Not much since not only were we screened by the airport authorities but also by Latam. I purchased some water after security but had to leave it since they would not allow it on the plane. Had they let us know about this sooner I could have saved money."
Cons: "The Latam personnel who searched our bags prior to boarding put on gloves which I though was very good. The bad part was that I saw 2 members of the search party sneeze into the gloves and touch their noses without changing gloves. How disgusting!!! Never Latam again! I would rather pay a few dollars more and not put up with this health violation."

Cons: "Had an isle seat on a red eye flight and I kept in my seat, attendants would walk by without disregard that people were sleeping and bump into them. I always fly window but there were no more available. I didn't get any drink or food but I did smell it when it was being served."
