Cons: "This flight was probably great but I was not on it"

Pros: "Most comfortable seats of the three flights. Crew friendly and attentive. Acted like they enjoyed their work."
Cons: "Luggage still in Atlanta with Delta."

Pros: "quick and efficient"
Cons: "I know it's not the airline's fault, but we were delayed for weather. Also seats do no recline and there is no entertainment."

Pros: "Crew was very pleasant"
Cons: "Old airplane. Everything was worn out and stained. Entertainment system is ancient. Economy seats are so small you can barely get in and out."

Pros: "Since I wasn't allowed on the flight because another leg caused us to arrive with only an hour to board, I can't tell you anything that was enjoyable."
Cons: "The KLM representative was COMPLETELY unhelpful. She basically told us we were screwed and to go away. We spent hours on the phone at great cost to us (international pay phone charges) to be bounced for one rep to another. We were finally told we could get in a plane home Sunday, please to be transferred, starting the process over from the beginning. It was TERRIBLE, beginning to end!"

Pros: "Going back home to the US"
Cons: "I had 15 hours layover in Amsterdam so I got me a hotel.one hour after I got to the hotel I got a notification from Kayak app asking me to go get my bag from Schiphol. My bag was supposed to be directly shipped to PDX. I had to leave my hotel back to the airport and spend 2 hours trying to find it only to be told that it was going to PDX. I lost my $170 hotel room, over $70 for taxis and ended up spending the night on the floor at Schipol. I do not think I'll ever use Kayak again. The travel guarantee is a joke too."

Pros: "Pilot welcome to the plan was very nice seats was comfortable food was good"
Cons: "Crew attaitude is not really pleasant with passengers"

Cons: ". The flight was overbooked and I had to wait for last minute to find out weather I will be on board of the flight .My bags were left behind in Amsterdam which were delivered later than they were supposed to."

Pros: "I love the overwhelming positivity exuded by the stallions in business class. Sometimes good things happen to mediocre coffee, others not so lucky!"
Cons: "The guy next to me looked like Joel Osteen and his daughter was actually Cardi B. I could feel the existential dread coming from their tray tables. Also, Lemon and Caramel cheesecake? What an awful flavor combination."

Pros: "A good basic no frills flight"
Cons: "Luggage missed the flight and was delivered later that say. It is the same as happened the last time we took this flight."

Pros: "The airlines: KLM and Delta were great."
Cons: "The lines at TSA! Alng with hundreds of other people, we missed our connecting flight. I was ashamed to see such an awful mess in the US. It was like entering a third world country run by incompetents."

Pros: "Staff was amazing and pleasant. Had decent food and as much comfort as zone 3 can offer."
Cons: "No complaints."

Pros: "Entertainment system was good, great crew, great food, great service"

Pros: "The staff and crew were so helpful and friendly! Stress free flight."
Cons: "Nothing"

Cons: "Smooth and easy"

Cons: "They should provide good hindi movies and songs in the flight"

Pros: "We got almost an absurd amount of food and drink on the flight, which was great. A meal, two snacks, a bottle of water, and several passes of the drink cart. The flight staff were all great, the entertainment options were plentiful. Really just a great flight."
Cons: "The Amsterdam airport was ludicrous. We were making a connection and had to go through four different levels of security. Our 1hr45minute layover was completely taken up just waiting in random lines to have someone look at our passports, or ask us to pull up our full flight itinerary email (teh boarding pass was not enough for her....). I appreciate the security attempts but it was really over the top, and the staff had no idea what they were doing (were bad at directing people to the right place or explaining what they needed). Note that NONE of this was the fault of Delta or KLM, completely teh airport."

Pros: "Nice service for short flight"
Cons: "Lost luggage for 2 days."

Pros: "Comfortable seats, pleasant crew, excellent entertainment, all good great but burrito snack."

Cons: "This flight was on a Transavia codeshare with Delta and a real downer after coming from a Delta One business class segment. An uncontrolled mass boarding, crammed in seating, no amenities and charges for a drink of water made this a pretty crappy flight. The crew was nice though."

Pros: "Helpful crew, more food than usual, entertainment system and choices."
Cons: "Didn't get meal request even though we did on flight to Europe and despite phone agent working to generate and verifying them before both flights."

Pros: "When I finally got on a flight (see what I didn't like), the crew was very helpful and the flight was comfortable."
Cons: "When I checked in online, I received boarding passes for the first two legs of the trip, but was told to see a gate agent in Amsterdam for the boarding pass for that flight. It turns out that there was a problem, attributed by one of the KLM staff that I talked with to "a communication problem between Delta and KLM." As a result, I was finally given a stand-by boarding pass. Since the flight was full, I was denied boarding. After hours of trying to figure this out, the KLM staff put me on a flight for the next day and organized a stay at an airport hotel. The KLM staff were very nice, but it seemed to take a very long time to figure this out. They also failed to note that the denial of boarding in the records, which caused a problem in my return flight. The upshot: I missed a follow-on flight to Budapest and had to pay a huge rebooking fee for that missed flight. I also missed a day of my vacation."

Cons: "As usual, a small space on a full flight. Pretty uncomfortable."

Pros: "Lots of seat space even in economy, I felt very comfortable and not cramped on my flight. Food was decent and flight attendants were very attentive. My flight was kind of an outlier experience as someone on my flight fell very ill and needed immediate medical attention. The KLM employees on board did a very good job of taking care of the situation and making sure everyone else on board still had a calm flight experience."
Cons: "My connecting flight was scheduled too close to my landing time."

Pros: "I was upgraded to business class since my flight was overbooked and I had to miss my original flight"
Cons: "Security for traveling to US is a very time consuming with long lines and in my mind useless process which does not make me feel any more secure - just wasting time and resources."

Pros: "Left on time....arrived on time. Boarding was as good as it ever gets. Anytime you can get your carry on in the overhead bin it is a great flight."
Cons: "It wasn't easy to find what gate I had to go to. I didn't see any boards in the check in area. It was only after TSA check that I found a staff member who gave me the information. After that all went okay. The problem might have been my own....it is a big airport."

Pros: "This time the tea was nice and hot!"

Pros: "Bulkhead seats - logos legroom"
Cons: "Very long boarding process - security checks and a long walk from connecting flight"

Pros: "Great crew. Good space on my exit row seat"
Cons: "Seat doesn't recline, though it's considered a "premium" seat. No power either. Ticketing process was crazy - I was not able to get a seat assignment until 5 minutes before boarding. Why? And there was no explanation of the situation. I had to ask, multiple times, what was going on,before I was finally told that I was going to get on, but they just didn't know where. This could be handled much more clearly!"

Pros: "Delta fed us so well. They made sure we were as comfortable as possible. The flight attendants were nothing short of kind and always smiling. Even the pilot was very ethusiastic over the intercom before the flight. He made jokes and everyone laughed. In fact, it was the most I've ever heard from a pilot on any flight in my life. I would rate this the best flight I've ever had. Thanks, Delta!"

Pros: "Nothing!!"
Cons: "Everything!! I wanna be compensated for this nonsense I went through!!"

Pros: "Entertainment good. Service good."
Cons: "Disembark a disaster with broken jetway"

Pros: "Clean comfortable plane, timely service by crew. Good, comfortable, economy seating in the A330 plane."

Cons: "I loked everything in my trip"

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "That when ever I try Delta there is a dramatic event that is mishandled and causes my flight to be extremely delayed or canceled. Promised to never take delta. I booked KLM and didn't know delta would be involved. Horrible."

Cons: "The handle on my checked bag was broken when I got it at immigration. Not sure why they pulled out the handle since it was retracted when checked in."

Pros: "Loved everything, the meal was good, spacious seats and friendly staff."

Pros: "Flight attendants were great."
Cons: "Movie and TV selection is not great for an international flight."

Pros: "Great stewardesses, good food"

Cons: "Seat seemed to have limited ability to recline."

Pros: "Lovely crew"

Pros: "Great crew and aircraft"

Pros: "Good Comfort+ seat, but needs a bit more recline - especially on a 9+ hour flight. Nice crew."
Cons: "Glad I have the comfort+ as the other seats have minimal leg room. Bathrooms could use a refresh."

Pros: "Good staff, crew, amenities in the airport, courteous and helpful."
Cons: "Schiphol has an excellent system in place -- you get through all the checkpoints to the gaits in less than 15 minutes. Then at the gait, at least at Delta/KLM they re-check all the documents twice, and that part takes 40 minutes -- so be prepared to come early to take that into account."

Pros: "Good service once I finally got on a plane."
Cons: "The alternative routing after my missed connection was not good and would have resulted in a very long travel day on a comparatively ill-equipped aircraft. So I stayed in Amsterdam on my own dime to take the same direct flight one day later."

Pros: "Food was good"
Cons: "No bags in Atlanta and no one to help. In Savannah baggage person not nice. Started the conversation telling me Delta is not responsible for delivering our baggage to our home."

Pros: "Delta gave out free snacks and then I got a flight for the next day."
Cons: "After being delayed over 5 hours and then being on the airplane the flight got cancelled."

Pros: "Delta is focused on customer service, especially in the business class. Great airline. Love the crew attitude."

Pros: "Good flight and good meals"

Pros: "I almost missed my next flight from Dublin to Chicago. There was not enough time between flights with current security measures. Your site should not have suggested those two flights so close."

Cons: "Worst possible gluten-free meal. Other airlines do it better. One CFAN make a sauce to put on chicken - it doesn't have to be boiled or microwave into a piece of rubber, with plain rice and a couple of boiled carrots. This isn't just gluten-free, it's complete allergen-free which is quite different"

Pros: "Seats were comfortable. The blankets and pillow were an amazing addition and made the flight more comfortable."
Cons: "Would have enjoyed free WiFi"

Cons: "The first plane was absolutely filthy. I paid for Wifi and when connection was spotty put my laptop down still with half of the data I purchased unused, but then it wouldn't let me back on later. Food was awful. On the first flight they skipped me for drink service entirely."

Cons: "Flight not being delayed"

Pros: "There wasn't anything special about this flight to like, unless you like leaving late and no leg room."
Cons: "Try leaving on time for once, I nearly missed my connection because Aer Lingus is terrible at on time departures. I'm just under 2 meters tall, the seats were so tiny my knees were pressed into to the seat in front of me the entire trip."

Pros: "Allowed us to have a week layover in Dublin on the way to Amsterdam"
Cons: "Most cramped flight I have ever experienced. Tiny seats, no legroom, and super narrow aisles so that people walking up and down would invariably bump your shoulder when they walked by - makes for a difficult sleep. Rude air hostesses Waited on ground 2 HOURS, inaccurate info, no service, nada"

Pros: "The whole crew was amazing! Meals were very tasty. The pillow and blanket was a nice touch. We really enjoyed the fact we all had entertainment screens."
Cons: "The selection of movies was not very grand."

Pros: "The service from the flight crew was excellent. On board meals were good, too. Although my luggage never made it on my flight to Chicago due to a delay arriving in Dublin, Aer Lingus provided me with tracking information, and I received my suitcase at my home within 48 hours."

Pros: "Crew"
Cons: "Food and limited movie selections"

Pros: "Dublin Airport screening was fine. Aer Lingus checkin and bag tagging was super efficient (self-serve). USA Prescreening cut you off from the airport shopping, was a repeat of all you had done for Dublin Airport screening and cut you off from the airport amenities, like most of the food and all of the shopping. It was decent, when landed in the US, to not have to deal with a line and wait at US Customs."
Cons: "US Prescreening was a repeat of Dublin Airport screening (really - the same strip down and pull everything out for inspection a second time?) and it cut you off completely from airport shopping and most of the food."

Pros: "Overall, the airline is nice with decent entertainment and food"
Cons: "Every time I book with orbitz, even months in advance, I get seated in the last seat of the plane so I am in the toilet"

Pros: "Plane was clean and comfortable."
Cons: "Plane arrived late - no updates from the gate crew. ...coffee and soda is not free..."

Cons: "My seat was broken and I was not impressed with how the situation was addressed."

Pros: "The food eas very good"
Cons: "The sests were not comfortable. Mt seat did not recline, and there was to much movement around me ro het comfortable."

Pros: "When I think of international, I think of the huge airplane with 3 rows of seating, an extra inch of leg space for us economy flyers ...this was basically a domestic airplane and the staff was polite but nothing over the top."
Cons: "Squished like sardines. And my luggage is broken."

Pros: "Fairly comfortable flight once they fixed the air conditioning while we waited on the HOT plane."
Cons: "Could not get a crew member to respond to the call button. We got what was left for a dinner meal, no choice. Handed a ‘hot pocket’, no napkin, no drink. My headphone jack partially worked—ear buds fine but the internal connection was not working well—sound only from 1 ear bud. Not pleasant for watching or listening to entertainment."

Cons: "Very dirty. Waste in the seat back, gum on the floor"

Pros: "Great flight"

Pros: "Basicbflight. Got us there."
Cons: "Late leaving resulted in huge rush through transfer in Dublin. Not really a fan of the "just go ahead and board" approach, bit it seems to work."

Pros: "Quick efficient"

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "My flight was cancelled approximately 36 hours before departure. Neither Aer Lingus not the booking agency Justfly.com informed me. I discovered this as I was about to leave for airport. Neither could help me to book a new flight. Justfly.com didn't see that the flight was cancelled because Aer Lingus did not inform them. I had to go to the airport and spend 8 hours in line at the ticket desk to get a new flight the next day, in addition to 2 hours spent on the phone. Had these companies done their jobs properly, I could have rescheduled my flight days earlier on the phone and not wasted an entire day of my vacation. When I asked Justfly.com for any form of compensation they refused. Will NEVER fly on this airline or book travel thru Justfly.com again."

Pros: "Flight attendants were nice"
Cons: "Not very happy with Aer Lingus’s ground crew or customer service or the way they run things. And Dublin airport is an unorganized mess. Probably will never fly with them again. Gave no concessions for canceling my flight out to Amsterdam."

Pros: "It was smooth. The flight felt like it went by pretty quickly."
Cons: "Honestly, nothing jumped out at my about this flight. All I remember is that it was not a bad experience."

Cons: "We were told to be at the airport 3 hours in advance of our 9:35AM flight. We arrived at 6:45 to find a line of passengers at the aer lingus counter and no personnel. It was at least 1/2 before anyone arrived for work. The gate on the boarding pass printed that morning, was the furthest gate and a very long walk. When we arrived there we were told it was changed. We heard a lot of gate changes over the loud speaker, but no announcement from aer lingud. British airways was at"

Pros: "Average economy for a 90 minute flight. Crew were cheerful."
Cons: "They don't have a free drink service like most European airlines."

Pros: "The only thing I can say that I liked about this flight was that we arrived a little early."
Cons: "Note: This review is for Aer Lingus a partner of British Airways. 1) Service - one of our fight attendants was incredibly rude. She clearly resents her job. 2) The plane itself was very old and not well maintained. The audio jack for the in-flight entertainment was broken and I could not watch anything. My wife complained about the touch screens being faulty and her audio system was bad. Also, the carpet and seat fabric was torn. 3) The food was disgusting. I mean, really bad. 4) There was a charge for alcohol whereas British Airways was complimentary. 5) Overall, I will never fly Aer Lingus again. It was the worst flying experience in memory."

Cons: "No complimentary refreshments offered, not even water."

Cons: "Poor gate service, insufficient information on flight, which was flown by Aer Lingus."

Pros: "The staff were so, so helpful and made sure we were all as comfortable as possible. I liked all the snacks and drinks and the no charge for checked bags. (A big help after a long trip and short on $!) And the best part? They dealt with U.S customs before we left Dublin so that we didn't have to deal with the long lines in Boston. So grateful!!!"
Cons: "My entertainment screen froze every time I tried to play a game, had to reset a few times before I gave up."

Pros: "nothing"
Cons: "We just returned home to New York from our trip to Amsterdam and Ireland. The trip itself was amazing despite the sub par customer service we received from Aer Lingus that definitely put a damper on our vacation. Our flight on Wed July 19th from NYC to Amsterdam went off without a hitch until we claimed our luggage, my brand new suitcase was covered with stains. Very disappointing but we went on to enjoy our time in Amsterdam. The real problems began when we flew from Amsterdam to Dublin, first we were seated all over the plane and worst of all when we arrived my husband's bag was lost. We went to customer service and completed the paper work. Everything my husband had for the trip was in that bag. Aer Lingus only texted him once and after that he had to call every day to check the status of his bag. Instead of exploring Dublin, we had to spend Sunday shopping to get him clothes for the trip. No word from Aer Lingus. Monday morning July 24 he calls to find the status of his bag. It was found in Amsterdam and was to be flown to Dublin and shipped to our next stop in Kinsale. We arrived Monday evening to find that the bag had not been shipped. Again no word from Aer Lingus. My husband called to find out the status and made arrangements to pick the bag up when we were flying back to NYC. We were happy the bag was found but my husband still was without all of his belongings for our entire trip. On Thursday July 27 we arrived at the airport early to retrieve the bag before we checked in to our flight. We were dismayed to find that there was not a person to talk to but a phone on a column to call to get help retrieving the luggage. There was a queue at the phone with people ahead of us in similar situations. Finally someone came out to escort my husband to get his bag. We were traveling with our son, and again our seats were scattered about the plane. There was no one at checkin to help us, and we didn't get help at the gate. So we had to sit separately for the 6 hour and 30 minute flight. When we claimed our bags, my bag now had tears along with the stains. This was a brand new suitcase and it is now ruined. My husband says he will never fly Aer Lingus again and this was the worst customer service he has had in his life. The customer service was virtually non existent."

Pros: "Flight went smoothly, staff were pleasant, seat was fine, entertainment worked well"
Cons: "The overall feel is that the staff are very rigid about their rules. They come down the aisle at their appointed times, but never just check up to see how people are doing. The rule about registering for a vegetarian meal 72 hours advance is ridiculous. there should always be meat-free options for people, not just vegetarians. The flight attendant was kind enough to find some fruit salad for me, out of the crew meals, but she shouldn't have to. in general they don't feel very warm or inviting."

Pros: "Friendly staff. Made efforts to assure passengers there were arrangements made for them in Dublin due to our late departure."
Cons: "I rated food and entertainment as 1 star since there is no N/A option. Our short flight did not provide them."

Pros: "i liked nothing from the experience on this leg or the journey. I was frustrated and angry."
Cons: "The check in procedure in Amsterdam took almost two hours. Then I was late to the gate. There was no assistance getting to the gate for none of the passengers who experienced these delays."

Pros: "I liked the in-flight crew. They were very pleasant and helpful!"
Cons: "The delays! The check-in app was down and the ladies at the desk didn't seem to be in any hurry to make sure we didn't miss our flight. It was the worst experience."

Cons: "Baggage lost for mere one-hour flight from Amsterdam to Dublin with extended delay before it was recovered."

Pros: "I understand the need for rules, but delaying 250 People because three idiots check baggage and don't show up is absurd. You need to have your own people on site who can take it off. I'll never fly you again."
Cons: "Further, you did little to ameliorate the situation for those stranded. I appreciate the hotel, but air Canada, united etc ALL offer cash compensation for delays caused by the airline..you didn't even offer an onboard drink. Also, the flight to JFK left 10 minutes after we landed: you should have held that flight rather than cost us all time/money/stress!"

Cons: "Everything from start to finish incompetent."

Pros: "friendly cabin crew."
Cons: "On return flight from Europe my one checked bag did not arrive with me. Day later and no word. Paid extra for upgraded economy seat (explained that I'm older). The leg room was there but they make you stow your hand luggage (including handbag) in overhead compartment and then there is no room in said compartment. Had to walk miles and miles to get to gates and then across tarmac to climb stairs (like in the 1950s). Not great for older person carrying stuff. Planes are older and worn. Put on a charter flight on first leg of return because Aer Lingus didn't have a plane available. Think that's why luggage is missing."

Pros: "The crew was top notch and accommodating. The plane was clean," and comfortable."
Cons: "The headphones were cheap and made an echo when plugged in. Couldn't enjoy the movie."

Pros: "After some delay, they arranged for me to get a somewhat stale piece of fish from business class that was left over..."
Cons: "I had phoned up to order a gluten-free meal. They 'lost' the lunch, but I did get a gluten-free scone on the approach into the USA."

Pros: "comfortable seat in economy class flight not crowded"
Cons: "no food or drink, unless I was willing to buy a bottle of water for $3."

Pros: "Friendly crew. Seats were comfortable"

Cons: "There wasn't any good food options and there was a charge for everything. Not good....."

Pros: "Not much"
Cons: "1. BA said I couldn't get a seat before 24 hrs before. Then when I tried to get a seat assignment I was told (by email) to contact Aer Lingus. Aer Lingus said that I should have called before 24 hrs before, and that seats were now in control of the gate (this still 22 hrs before flight time). Total lack of coordination. 2. At check-in I was first told that my bag was too big for carry-on, although BA had accepted it. I shrunk it down. Then I was told it weighed too much at 15 kg. When I asked why BA accepted the weight I was told BA's weight limit was different. 3. Net net, if BA is "arranging" the flight through a code-share it should have responsibility for insuring I am treated like a BA customer. Aer Lingus' customer treatment leads much to be desired."

Pros: "Worst experience flying of my life and I've flown quite a lot. Showed up for my flight in Amsterdam to a connecting flight in Dublin to sfo for Christmas. They told me I didn't have a seat on the ams-Dublin flight. Waited and asked everyone with aer Lingus who was available which was one woman who ignored me as much as possible whether I would make it home for Christmas. No info given. Finally got thrown (literally) a ticket after the plane was completely boarded. Barely made my connecting flight in Dublin. Arrived in sfo and my luggage never arrived. A week later, after countless phone calls, bag descriptions, and headaches, my luggage was located in Dublin. I just received my bag today with everything I needed for Christmas but didn't have. Basically aer Lingus ruined my Christmas 2016 and I still can't figure out who to log a complaint to. Worst airline ever."

Pros: "Just like any other flight in terms of comfort and food but such a joy to have the flight available from hartford. Tip: don't sit in a non reclining seat. My husband complained of being hemmed in for 6 hours because seats in front of us reclined but ours did not."

Cons: "Check in was not working on line. Very frustrating."

Pros: "Service was good"
Cons: "Delayed by 30 min"

Pros: "I was comfortable as far as temperature and smoothness of flight. I was surprised to have tasty food and two meals!"
Cons: "I was really uncomfortable with no leg room. The woman in front of me really hurt my knee when she let her seat back crash into my knee ( I had to lift my leg with my hands and try to fit my foot down in a tiny space in order to cross my legs. Trying to get up to get out of the seat was extremely awkward. The worst experience was online booking. It was difficult to understand and impossible to change my seat. I even called."
