"Flight delayed over 6 hours with multiple changes to flight status and times for eventual departure. At one point flight was cancelled so we booked a hotel only to have the flight rescheduled to after midnight so we had to scramble to cancel our hotel which might not be refunded. Worst experience with Alaska air to date."

"Flight attendant in first class could be more friendly .. she looked annoyed throughout the flight and didn’t seem like she wanted to be. Need work in the customer service department. Same for my outbound flight. Otherwise the flight was on time and got to where I needed to go."

"I missed a connection due to a 4 hour maintenance delay. The worst part is that I can't even attempt to rebook the flight because there is no way to contact Iberia. The desks were closed because there were no more flights that day. They never answer the help line or facebook. I simply cannot, in any way, even get ahold of a person to help me rebook this flight that cost 1000 dollars and was ruined by the fault of the airline. So I am stranded in LA right now, frantically trying to get ahold of anyone from Iberia to help me get to Spain."

"The food definitely could be better the flight attendant nicer, then Lisbon to Paris the had the nerves to charge for snacks. Lisbon customers service at the airport for the most part terrible, upiddy, rude,. I waited at lease 2 or more in custom lane trying to get throught security, miss my flight to Paris it was hot, to cheap to give customers AC while you wait in long lines. The worst experience avoid Lison Portugal, they charge for a rapid covid test 275.00 when I had a CDC shot record I've had both my shots rip off. And lost my luggage."

(SNA/SFO) From ease of arrival at check in by Alaska Airlines staff to the airport security at SFO providing assistance to help me guide my ride to pick me up the best description of where I was to ease pick up. That’s not to mention the Alaska staff that allowed me to move my flight up to accommodate my schedule or the excellent staff at the gate and on the plane. Very nice experience!"

Cons: "This is the second time in 3 flights with Alaska that they’ve bumped my seat at boarding time from a nice aisle near the front to a window near the restrooms. I’d gladly have volunteered if asked, but they didn’t ask. This most recent flight, the beverage service was extremely slow - it took nearly an hour for them to get down to my relocated seat. By then, it was nearly time to land, so I barely had time to finish. I’ve noticed the cups are smaller now as well. I usually fly rather than drive for the holidays, I think I’m done with flying."

Cons: "They had ressigned seats and put me in the middle of a full row, in front of the emergency exit, so the seat would not recline. The head rest was made for a tall man, and its position made me lean forward until my neck hurt. The movie selections were good, but the earphone jack didn't work well enough to hear the dialog. They let me move to another seat and the earphones didn't work there either. After trying two different earphones they concluded the jack was bad. Also the seats were smaller and there was less leg room than the Alaska flight going out."

I was able to figure it out on the map option on the screen, but I would've liked to hear it verbally. Only suggestion I would have is an announcement on the plane for which baggage claim belt our luggage would come out of. I may not have heard it though, if there was an announcement. It was not difficult at all to figure out once I was in the baggage claim area, however if this was known while we were still on the flight, I prefer to know this info!"

Cons: "1st, promised to email a $100 travel voucher for an inconvenience in the reservation, but never did! 2nd, signage misguided us to take train to wrong terminal in airport, causing us to miss flight! 3rd, successfully changed first leg of our flight, but gave us a connection that was impossible to make! (20 minutes, but they "forgot" we had to go through customs!) 4th, double-charged us for our bags for second leg of flight! 5th, said they could do nothing about the impossible second leg of flight, claiming that their partner airline (Virgin) should resolve it, and Virgin then said the same thing and sent us back to Alaska! 6th, I discovered that Alaska reps wrote lies in the notes in the computer to try and cover their back! 7th, meanwhile, between the two companies, they wasted so much time that the next flight passed and we had to wait until next day for a flight! 8th, were not willing to cover a hotel, leaving us to sleep in airport! We are currently in airport still waiting for flight, so this sad testimony to Alaska Air may still get even worse! We'll see."

The cost is almost a wash with what Alaska is reimbursing me, but we'll see what I get refunded since their customer care department is closed on Sundays."

"I had to cancel my trip because of COVID delta. My brother who I visiting got scared and didn’t want me to visit. I paid for insurance that you provided through your site. Allianz hidden in terms that canceling because of COVID fear isn’t covered. I was never offered insurance through delta on your site witch I would have bought. Delta isn’t even giving me a credit for a flight and keep my money. What a scam and I’m very disappointed in the services I received."

Pros: "As expected of Delta. With Covid, even the food service understandably was limited. They had prepackaged goodies, albeit not much flexibility, but I had no complaints. Mid row was empty per Covid, for flight comfort, this was somewhat a plus. Knowing air was filtered with HEPA filters every 2 minutes with fresh oxygen and outside air mix was also reassuring."

I felt so much safer than I did on a similar flight operated by American Airlines where essentially no precautions were taken."

When I got to my seat the first 30 rows were nearly fully, but the back of the plane was half empty. The whole time the gate agent was urging passengers to move faster through the aisle, but Delta should really rethink its boarding strategy. It shouldn't take 40 minutes to board a 757."

Kind of rude and kind of uncalled for. And the lady next to me (lauren) is an ER dr that had a layover in Atlanta for 4 hours to vacation with her fiance in the Caribbean..."

I️ stay in Vegas for 1 night and my ankle swells the next morning and I’m unable to move my legs. Sent to the hospital and have been in Vegas since 11/20"

Since I was in the last boarding group, Had to check in my bag since it was already full, had fragile stuff in there and hoping everything is ok. it is what it is. Not anyone's fault but disappointing to have to do when I didn't plan on checking in and going to pick up at the baggage claim. This is what i wanted to avoid in the first place. could have at least offered to let us pick them up as we deplaned and not baggage claim!"

Cons: "I always have preferred American Airlines but they seem to have constant problems with the aircraft these days. This causes delays and missed connections. This in turn causes no breakfast or lunch or dinner opportunities. I travel with snacks in my bag at all times now just in case so I won’t get sick for lack of nourishment or water! This last flight I missed my connection altogether and had to take a shuttle home, then catch a ride back to the airport to pick up my luggage and then get my car to drive home. It was 4 hours past my expected time home."

Pros: "The crew serving the plane didn't look like they wanted to be there. Somewhat abrasive. The entertainment was poor and not very easy to access through your mobile, Iphone and Ipad. If you want to provide a better customer experience, equip all your planes with seats video screens. Passengers on a 4 to 5 hours flight don't want to have to figure out what do to watch a movie or TV. I don't fly American that often, but wanted to give it a try to see the difference between you and the other airlines. I have to say that on the return segment (ORD to SFO), I was not that impressed."

Families with babies, couples, even ours (though the kids are old enough for me not to be truly worried as some were). Somehow reservations seems to have messed up an entire flight. We gave up trying to fix it for fear they would make it worse. Then the woman at the gate tried to get folks to volunteer to give up their seats on an overbooked flight. But she was screaming at us. Unbelievably unpleasant to be yelled at over and over again and told we could lose our seats. The poor weather likely caused flights to be rerouted into PHL so our flight out to SFO ended up 1/3 empty. FABULOUS. But the gate experience was horrible and the legroom, had it been a full flight, was miserable. I'm in search of an airline with a humane approach."

Flight crew seemed very inconvenienced and it showed."

Cons: "No arm room when someone the size of an NFL player sits next to you and falls asleep with their arms relaxing into your space. Then they sleep open-mouthed with bad breath. I paid extra for that?"

Cons: "Seats were quite uncomfortable, there was no entertainment options, there was no way to charge any electronic devices because the plane was so old, which meant I almost wasn't able to catch a ride home after the flight. For a cross-country flight, I would expect a better experience."

Customers were told the flight was delayed because Air Traffic Control issues in SF, but there was no plane in sight... Again I felt we were being lied to. The plane was filthy with garbage everywhere still. I will never fly American Airlines by choice!"

But there was a large difference in comfort between this flight and the JAL flight from Tokyo. Seats were smaller, and my wife and I couldn't get seats together."

The guy at boarding (unlike the boarding in SFO) called way too many groupss individually, First Class, Diamond, Premium, Gold, Priority. This led to many people being refused boarding and told to wait. In SF they simply call first class and then all the rest or the Aadvantage members together before the land boarding. Much faster and more efficeint. Even though the flight was full there less than 12 people in the Diamond, Premium, whatever classes. And the guy taking the boarding passes was a jerk. He actuallly seemed to take pleasure in telling people they couldn't board. Might not ever fly AA again. At least never from Philadelfphia."

Cons: "So many small things add up to an overall poor experience on a flight, and it doesn't seem like United understands this. 1) WiFI was down. 2) Entertainment screens for several of the passengers on board were not working. The poor lady next to me had a broken screen, and combined with the broken WiFi, she literally just sat in her seat looking forward for several hours (after she finished the podcasts on her phone). 3) For a 5-6 hour flight, food (more than just snacks) were available for only about half the passengers on board. Apparently its an intentional policy of United to only have food available for a portion of the passengers. It wasn't even possible to purchase it if I wanted to because by the time the crew got to me, they were all out. 4) Baggage space under the seat varies wildly depending on your seat. For some reason, the aisle seat has the smallest space I have ever seen in my life (about the size of a shoe box). It was the first flight I have ever been on where I was literally not able to fit a small backpack underneath my seat."

Pros: "Very pleasant attentive crew and ground staff. An aborted takeoff on tarmac meant a return to the departure gate and the plane taken to maintenance. The ground staff were superb in dealing with a full plane load of passengers many of whom had onward connections. This meant we had to stay overnight and fly first thing the next morning. Full marks to United for dealing with a potentially dangerous situation and then assisting everyone back in the terminal."

Due to first delay in SF, the time was so tight and the international terminal was so far away, we had to run like HELL and we almost suffered from heart attack. We barely made it and there was no one to help ever. we had to figure out on our own. This was very bad experience and was not acceptable with such poor arrangement."

I paid extra $60.00 after I had paid $25,00 for the first bag when I could have put the flexible kipling inside the Jansport if she had listened to me. The flight delayed after I was unable to defend myself and paid an unfair feer."

The two people who attended to the aisle chair, most teams were competent. Some hadn't done many passengers so they were fumbling with the straps. I've learned that I almost alway have to ask for one at the gate where they check or issue, (what's it called, loading permits, some kind of pass, not landing pass. loading pass. I can't remember and my wife has gone to bed.) Well, they have to come up with an aisle chair because I've only got 1 1/2 legs. I always make it to the seat on the plane, but the competency of the various crews is uneen. Sorry my answer is so nonspecific but I don't remember one airline from another. Great people all, get the job done."

For most short haul flights, this is not a big deal, but it really makes for an unpleasant journey on the cross-country flights. Also, the four-seat middle section is so poorly designed. There is no way to store personal items under seats without invading the space of your neighbor because the metal frame supporting the row of seats doesn't match with the seats themselves. 2. Entertainment: United could not support continuous streaming of movies/TV shows for every passenger. My movie paused and froze so frequently that I gave up on finishing it and then felt like I had wasted my time. The speed and reliability reminded me of trying to watch movies on a dialup connection. It would be so much better to just have the TV screens built into the seats. All in all, United got a bad batch of planes and should try to take this into consideration when working with Boeing/Airbus on the next order."

Of course, entertainment was available for first, business and premier class. Why? Satellite problem supposedly. Third, ok. There was a entertainment on a big screen in the front. However, system on the armrest was not working. What's the point? My husband and I have been in long distance flight over 25 year with various airline companies, BUT THIS UNITED FLIGHT WAS ONE OF THE WORST FLIGHT EVER. When I booked this vacation, I chose Lufthansa on purpose as I know their quality of service and professionalism. I didn't notice that the return flight was a code share with UA. Only thing they can say was that they can provide us more mileage as a compensation if we write to UA on their website... We had a great vacation until were on this flight."

So even though United offered me the ability to use my own device, I don't have one! Also, the instructions to download the app before take off was not clear. During the entire flight, I kept getting the message "no internet connection; unable to connect to satellite." So I couldn't even use my phone. Very annoying and I will never fly United for international flights again."

"Departing flight was “delayed” but really it was canceled and we were just bumped to the later flight. I understand this happens but Frontier only has two flights to Vegas from SFO on Fridays, one at 3pm and the other at 11pm. Of course they cancelled the one everyone paid up for which was the earlier flight without any other options other than just taking the 11pm flight or canceling all together. If you did cancel all you would get back is what you paid which for me was very little because I purchased well in advance. They cancelled last minute but aren’t willing to pay us the different of what it would cost to rebook with another airline. Complete shit show, horrible planning and zero organization. Drop Kiwi as a third-party for domestic flights, their customer service is clueless, handling charges absurd and flight requirements unnecessary."
