I also travel with a small service animal and he was panting so hard and hard time breathing, other passengers were offering us water to wet him to cool him down. Several people were sick and coughing with hot air we are all guaranteed to be sick. #coronavirus"

Pros: "When I arrived at check in I did the whole kiosk bit and got my boarding pass. I had a question so I spoke with the nice woman at the counter and she got me a roomier seat ( I’m 6ft all legs). It was actually a mini upgrade that included a free drink and snack. Free of charge. Do things like that even happen anymore? Considering I had just been through a death in my family and was mentally miserable ( she had no idea) she must have picked up on it. BEST FLIGHT IN YEARS. Thank you. Customer svc is everything."

Cons: "Our flight was supposed to leave at 10pm. We all boarded only to be told that some ground crew vehicle ran into the cargo door and scratched it so badly it had to be reported. The report must be filled out and sent to Seattle for review. We were told by the air crew this would take a few more minutes. It took over almost an hour and a half. Screaming babies and a FULL plane. We finally changed planes to the other end of the Terminal. I got no sleep and missed a very special Labor Day Holiday with my daughter because I am sleeping now. I dont understand how your own ground crew can damage your plane and it take so long for you to decide to change planes AFTER BOARDING A FULL PLANE!?!?"

I have had this same pet carrier for over 5 years and have been traveling with it. My pet is only 4 1/2 pounds 5 at its max sonthe carrier I have works perfectly fine. I was told to step out the line....made wait til the very very end til the plane was about to leave to be let on. This was an inconvenience as I was all set to go."

Not to wait for others who didn't want to walk to the back of the plane. It would be nice if the rule was enforced. Charge them $50.00 to use the bathroom, I bet they will wait."
Pros: "On my way back home I noticed that there was ONE seat that was empty in First Class as I boarded the plane. I asked the flight attendant about it and she said that I would have to go back up to the ticket agent to inquire there. So I did, and I was told when I walked back up the ramp to that kiosk that the ticked agent had just Closed The Flight. So, the other lady who was standing right there said that she had to escort a minor on to the flight and that she would accompany me back to the airplane and see if she could help. She did, and when we got back to hand off the minor to the flight crew she then inquired about that seat. It was agreed that the seat was going to be vacant, and since I am a 6' 1", 250 pound man, they all thought it would be a nice thing to allow me to sit in that first class seat at no extra charge! Wow!! What a difference that made on the 4 hour flight! Thank You Alaska Airlines for helping me out and hooking me up! I will remember that when I am booking my next trip!!"

I had to put my carry-on halfway to the back of the plane because other people couldn't deal with having one of their two bags under the seat in front of them. Then I had to wait till three quarters of the passengers had disembarked to get my bag. Crappy treatment for a "premium" seat."

Cons: "I showed up to check in 45mins before the flight and they only had 1 kiosk person to service people so by the time I was helped they wouldn't let me check in and told me I missed my flight when I was there with 40 minutes to spare!!! They put me on a flight that sent me to Seattle then to Portland 3 hours behind schedule, but I'm mostly upset because I still got to the Portland gate 20 minutes before the departure time and they refused to find me and 2 other passengers a seat on the flight because they over sold out seats, seats we bought months in advance. So i was there 25 - 20 minutes before departure and people were still running up to make their flight but their seats weren't over sold... I will never be flying with Alaska again. Every other airline lets most passengers check in within 30 minutes bc I've never had this problem before. Horrible service from the Alaska McCaren Las Vegas airport lord of additude for 5am. Maybe they need new updated workers that try to work with you."

I had to walk over to virgin and stand in line which was a inconvience because I was traveling with a person with disabilities. If companies are merging it should still be a seamless transition for both the client and companies involved. The confirmation information from Alaska doesn't work for Virgin. This should be updated."
Pros: "Outlets on the seatback in front of me to charge things. Free WiFi from TMobile. Flight attendants and crew all VERY EXCELLENT. TSA was actually friendly in Las Vegas (I realize this is not Alaska's control). Skills of the pilots was exceptional (very windy leaving LV and the flight was great). We left very late due to a problem with the flaps warning light (??). Would rather have left late after thoroughly checking it out than take a chance - good for you, Alaska! Pilot took advantage of a tailwind and we got to SeaTac in 1 hr 50 min (I think this is pretty spectacular). Enough room in overhead bins. Great job. Pilots and stews all smiled at me and said thanks and said goodbye when I left the plane (this is more important than you would think - first and last impressions are lasting). Boeing 737s rock. The little extensions on the wings rock too."
Cons: "Typical airline stuff. Small seats. Bad elbow room in middle seat. I'm an "Emperor's new clothes" kind of guy. I won't ignore these things and pretend it's all okay, just because we all do. You probably can't do anything, cost-wise, about this. Fair enough. But my main complaint is that I had a ticket for a much later flight (leaving 6:30). I knew I was done with my business the previous day and tried to change my flight online and by phone the previous day. Changing flights by either of these channels would have cost me a minimum of an extra $238. Not worth it to me since the round trip was only $180, so I stayed. But going to the airport early and getting past TSA and going to the actual gate allowed an Alaska rep to change my flight there at the airport for $25 (This was actually a tip from my wife). In the year 2017, with the internet and cell phones, this situation is ridiculous! Why should I have not been able to do this from my hotel the day before and leave even earlier? As a company, you recognize the good will that having your crew and stews smile at people and say goodbye builds with your customers. Why would you allow this situation to continue? When traveling by air, convenience is everything. Get the information systems in place that allow you to accommodate this kind of change from either the website or the phone. If you need help with it, call me. I teach IT at the UW in Tacoma and I can put some of my seniors on the problem (whatever it is) and come up with a solution. Cons: "My 06:05 am flight was cx'd on 12/6 due to weather condition. I was moved to another flight which would turn a 2 hour direct to 8+ hours to Las. It would not work for me, and there is no other resolutions that Alaska airline could offer. So I had to buy a new ticket from Delta at the airport and flew out at 7:30am. Noted the very next Alaska flight @7:30am and the rest of the direct flights for the day to Las were all on time departure flights. I must say that i am disappointed for Alaska's emergency contangecy plan and its response to a mild conditioned winter weather, and afterall the "best resolutions" that the airline could offer."

I understand that was beyond Delta's control, except for the fact that its Atlanta hub is grossly overused. But my connecting flight in Atlanta was canceled, and its "dedicated" phone line to re-book the flight was completely unresponsive. The employees in Atlanta were, as they usually are, surly, and myself and fellow passengers had to wait on line for hours in the wee hours of the morning to be re-booked. Oh, and Delta lost my suitcase in Las Vegas, with all my clothes and a business file, and it has not been located."

Pros: "We boarded on time and we departed on time. We got into Chicago 30 minutes early. We recently acquired a AA credit card and we got 2 checked bags free and priority boarding (Group 5). In today's world your need priority boarding of some sort on AA or you risk not being able to store you bags in the overhead and may have to get it checked free to your final destination. Also, one of our checked bags had a painting in it that we purchased and the bag and painting arrived unharmed. Good job by AA baggage handlers."

In short, AA left me stranded in a strange city at midnight with no accommodation and no luggage. It was 18 degrees and I was in t-shirt and shorts. What a memory."

I let him talk to the British Airlines counter manager and the manager tried to explain that he would have to rebook us that he could not. Air.com was horrible and never helped us out at all. I was a little annoyed but hey I'm still going to make it to my game, ( I just needed to let my ride know who's lives 3 hours away from LA that my flight was going to be 3 hours late not to rush) well about an hour later I got another notification that my flight was now being pushed back to 230pm.... at this point I have no choice but to look for another flight.... I found another flight on Southwest leaving Las at 1210pm arriving in lax at 120pm... perfect I can still make my game... That flight was boarding on time... ran into some hiccups on the runway... arrive to lax at 130pm... not a problem can still make my game... sat on the runway at lax until 335.... needless to say I missed the game... while in the air I received another text that my American airline flights was now pushed back to 530pm... mind you my day started at 5am on Las Vegas to catch a flight out at 720am.... Now had I not found that other flight I would have been sitting around Vegas airport for over 12 hours.... I was not a happy flier today, specially because the actual flight is normally no more than 45 minutes start to finish... I could have rented a car and drove... would have been cheaper and I would have made it to my game ...."

The entertainment was one shared screen that I did not have a headset for, nor was I offered a headset, free or for a fee. The screen in front of me was too close and the screen behind that was further away and barely able to see it. I choose not to watch it for these reasons. The landing was rough at the end, everyone jolted forward when we hit the ground."

My wheel chair needed charged and I was two hours early, so the attendant sat me at the charging station because there were no outlets in the gate area. She contacted her supervisor to advise of my location and that I would need assistance. Nobody came for me. I gathered my things the best I could and struggled to get to the gate to get attitude from the gate agent, telling me the wheel chair attendant was there looking for me. What ever happen to using a paging system when you know the passenger who is disabled checked in two hours earlier? Had someone paged, maybe I could have flagged their attention, or maybe they could have called the company in charge of handling their wheel chair attendance and would have known where I could be located. Either way, the attitude is uncalled for, especially when I apologized and stated that the wheel chair attendant was expected to help me."

I know air travel is fairly safe, but given the track record of both Allegiant and Airbus, I was a little worried during the flights. Had previously spoken to another gate agent who had told me that I could ask for a refund at the departing gate. Wifi didn’t work. On one of three delayed flights had to beg for water to take my medicine. I will make extra efforts to avoid using this mediocre airline."

One fellow passenger ran to a neighboring gate to ask an employee for help and was told they could not help us. Another passenger called united customer service and was put on hold. At 2:23 the united employee emerged from the jetway and told us that we had gotten there too late. When we told the employee that all 5 passengers had been waiting at the gate for ever 10 minutes, the employee argued, insisted that we were lying. This was not only extremely unprofessional but also added insult to injury after we had missed this flight due to fault 100% on united's shoulders and none of our own. I am completely baffled how an employee could not wait just a few minutes when you have 5 passengers rushing in late. The employee could have looked in the system and seen that we were already on the ground and coming from a near by gate. I was rebooked on flight 1889 at a later time. After boarding 1889 a maintenance issue was detected requiring all passengers to deplane. It is beyond me why this issue was not discovered until after the flight had been boarded, when at that time the plane had been sitting at the gate for over two hours. After being delayed over an hour we were on our way to Austin. Ultimately I arrived in Austin 5 hours after my original arrival time due to the incompetence of united airlines. I was disappointed by the lack of professionalism and compassion by united employees throughout the ordeal."

Pros: "They double booked my seat and forced me to sit in an emergency exit row. Pretty sure this is against FAA regulation."
Cons: "I was bumped from my confirmed flight and had to sprint across the airport to catch an earlier flight where they put me in the back of the plane in a middle seat with an entertainment monitor that didn't work. The flight attendant said she'd try to reset the monitor and then never came back the rest of the flight. I also was not compensated for agreeing to take another flight than the one I booked, paid for and successfully checked in for. I also got into Austin later than I wanted with this new flight I was forced to take. Overall this experience was a terrible one unfortunately."

Cons: "The flight was over one hour late in leaving and while I appreciate that is beyond the control of the flight crew, one steward was quite rude as we were quickly trying to board as she prioritized serving the first class cabin rather than get us all on the plane. At the very least she could have used commonly acceptable language such as "please, thank you and excuse me" but rather chose to use "wait". As some of us where desperate to make a tight connection in SF, focusing on getting people on board and the plane off the ground should have been the crew focus."

Cons: "First of all I've taken quite a few trips and i normally fly Southwest. Southwest service is always great. I had change of plans and hadon't to fly delta; the crew and the pilot were very rude. I was in the lobby area and i was standing when the pilot of Delta passed by he bumped me and literally growled at me, the boarding process a crew member became frustrated with a family boarding. The plane ride was uncomfortable i am 6'3" tall and had no leg room or shoulder room"

Pros: "UA did a good job, but Houston International was closed off/on due to bad weather, so it was a mess."

Cons: "However, the seats were so cramped, it was pretty miserable, even for just a 2 hour flight. With no snacks even offered because of turbulence, and no working wifi or seat back TVs, there was nothing to distract from how uncomfortable we all were. Plus, Austin's airport layout requires travelers to walk awfully far to get bags and then a rental car. Don't dare be disabled or feeling unwell--you'll never make it! Of course our gate was furthest from baggage claim, & someone's has to be. Nevertheless, it's a terrible layout, w/ pedestrians pushing through boarding queues and where others are lined-up to buy food."

Pros: "Got delayed on my first flight, missed my other connections, had an 8 hr layover and almost 24 hr trip, rearranged my entire travel plan. Not united 's fault but not the best flight I've had either."
Pros: "Everyone was great. A young lady on my Houston to Austin flight helped me find my seat. A young man on my NY to Houston flight was very friendly!!!"
