Cons: "Everything first every single flight taken was delayed by at least 30 mins and not on time, then they played last minute rescheduleds in which they over booked by like twice the amount of people on flight and offer a mediocre 100 dollar travel voucher to make up for it to get on the next flight that’s 4 hours later. Since no one took that offer they ended up rescheduling it and stopping in other places to ale up for the lack of space, what was suppose to be a 6 hour flight turn in a 12 hour flight."

Pros: "Nothing. Airlines changed the flight time for connecting flight with out informing us. Whole reason, I booked a earlier flight so I can get to spend time in Lima but Avianca airlines changed the connecting flight from Bogata from 125pm flight to 330pm flight. I paid additional $250/ticket to get these tickets so I can get to Lima earlier than 7pmso that my wife and I can enjoy our honeymoon. I am very disappointed that airlines decided to switch flights without our approval. We did reach to Bogota at 1155am and we even tried to catch the 125pm flight from Bogota to Lima. but the staff was not helpful at all. All they kept on saying, “sorry nothing can be done, go file a complain”. Are you kidding me by saying that to your client, “go file a complaint”, instead of assisting. I guess Avianca airlines crew needs to learn about hospitality and customer service. NO AIRLINE MAKES Involuntary CHANGES with out notifying customers. Even on United Airlines, they don’t change flights with out informing customers."

Cons: "I was told hours before my flight that my flight was delayed due to weather in the NYC area and that the new flight time was two hours later. There were no weather issues at this time. This delay made me miss my connection and the only option was for me to have a 24 hour layover in Bogota, Colombia. As a woman traveling alone this was not acceptable to me but I had no other choice. I got a hotel room for the evening and tried to make the best of it. I was not offered any compensation for this inconvenience, nothing, not even an offer to pay for my hotel room. Similar things happened to three other people in my group that I was meeting in Peru all traveling from different locations. I lost an entire day in Peru because of this. On my return flight Avianca changed the times as well and I was forced to take an earlier fight home the day before I was scheduled to leave. I therefore lost a total of two days of my vacation because of Avianca and they did NOTHING to compensate me for it. STAY AWAY FROM THIS AIRLINE!!!"

Cons: "Flight was moved 6 hours with no explaination a few weeks before (apparently there's an on going strike), so we had to pay to switch our connecting flight. The day of, there was a 2hr delay so we missed our connecting flight. Food was ok. Drink selection was mediocre. Very limited TV and movie selection. Probably should have stuck with my instincts to fly with a larger carrier."

One positive is they did have a decent movie selection honestly that's the only thing. Old plane. Zero leg room. Dour staff. Turn lighting on repeatedly on redeye - spend half the time making useless announcements. Impossible to sleep even if you were in 1st class.
I had to cancel my trip because of COVID delta. My brother who I visiting got scared and didn’t want me to visit. I paid for insurance that you provided through your site. Allianz hidden in terms that canceling because of COVID fear isn’t covered. I was never offered insurance through delta on your site witch I would have bought. Delta isn’t even giving me a credit for a flight and keep my money. What a scam and I’m very disappointed in the services I received.
Boarding was on time (if not a little early). The flight was unfortunately not properly catered for snack boxes in main cabin. This is likely a one off instance, but it’s a long flight for no food options other than pretzels and Biscoffs. Service was attentive and friendly. This particular flight offered Delta’s DeltaOne lay flat first class seats. Would highly recommend. Flight left on time and arrived early!

The gate agents then allowed those who checked their rollaboards to board before Zone 1,which was fine. However, a bunch of people without gate check stickers on the rollaboards were also allowed to board before Zone 1, which was aggravating. There was a long delay on the tarmac, during which we had to pull back to the gate or to a maintenance area before we finally took off. When we arrived in Vegas there was no gate for us to pull into, which led to another long delay of an already long and delayed flight."

Her flight from Amsterdam to New York today operated by KLM, was delayed by few minutes. And Delta flight from JFK to Cleveland DL4084 was preponed by airlines. Result was my daughter was not allowed to board the aircraft. Worst was yet to come. Your staff at the gate offered her a flight to Cleveland for next day at 3:30 pm??? Means around 24 hours later. Is this how you behave with a girl of 19 years, asking her to stay at the airport. She was refused Hotel and Lounge stay by your team!!! Is this what you call customer services??? Obscene services is what I would like to term it as!!! My daughter asked them to give this is writing, which was refused to her. Why are your people scared to put it in writing if everything that you are doing is right by the Law??? I was left with no other option but to book her on American Airlines flight today departing at 9 pm to ensure that little girl doesn’t have to spend close to 24 hours at airport by paying $423. Pros: "I paid 60 bucks for an emergency row exit, take get some extra leg room and space so that I would be fresh when I arrived in Munich. However KLM allowed a passenger — who did not pay for the emergency row to sit next to me because he needed the extra space because he was a liarge man, and clearly didn’t fit very well in the economy seats. Thus I I lost all the extra space and actually would of preferred a regular economy seat. that would’ve been more preferential then paying $60 and getting less space than I would’ve had it in a regular economy. I understand the other passengers comfort was important and if that was the case he should’ve paid $60 as well."

Cons: "It was not acceptable and very disappointed that flight DL391 from SDQ to NY-JFK was delayed till it left at 4:40pm because there were no crew members to bring the aircraft to STO DGO the night before as it is usually done so that the aircraft sleeps over in las Americas. We were at the airport at 4:30am because the flight was scheduled to depart at 6:05am we were lucky to be able to rebook for a flight SDQ-ATL DL576 for the same day hoping to make the connection ATL-IND. Unfotunately that flight was rerouted to Charlotte due to bad weather conditions with a delay of 3 hrs before it landed in ATL thus missing our connection to INDI and had to sleep in ATL and leave the next day to IND thus missing a meeting commitment that we had in IND. We should and expect to be compensated by Delta for this."

Cons: "The positives don’t even come close to offsetting the misery of Delta’s seats. I honestly don’t remember the last time I was so cramped and uncomfortable. I’m not an abnormally large man - 6 feet 200 lbs - and there was no room for my legs or my shoulders in an “upgraded economy” seat. I fly weekly for work on another major airline, and only took this one in a crunch. But I am quite certain this was my last Delta flight and I’ll be advising others similarly. The service and entertainment aren’t sufficient to mask an awful seat configuration."

Then we proceeded to baggage claim and waited a few minutes and one of our 2 bags was there. The crew member then said "that's everything. If you're missing bags come see us." Well about 5 people on a small flight had to see them. My bag was stuck in JFK. I was told id have to come back to the airport tomorrow. At this point id been traveling for close to 24 hours. Im not a happy camper. I usually fly JetBlue and this has never happened with them. Delta acted like its a normal thing with them. I paid 25 dollars to check each bag. How can both my bags not reach their final destination together and how come this seems like a normal procedure for Delta. I paid you for a service and now I have to drive back to the airport or wait for you at home to deliver my bags whenever Delta feels like it. I probably won't fly Delta again unless I absolutely have to."

Impossible to rest due to lack of space. I tried to put my head down on my tray table but couldn't since it hit the seat in front of me. Mid flight my 13 year old daughter got back spasms. Upon arrival we could barely walk and looked like two old women limping down the jetway. No idea how a tall or larger person could have even sat down."

Cons: "That we had to sleep like homeless people on the floor of JFK airport as the airline was not able to provide for a crew and therefore cancelled the flight. The airline cancelled the flight at 1.30 in the morning so no one was able to get a stay in a hotel not did the airline take any action towards helping the stranded passengers. We were given blankets and pillows. The best thing was the ground staff getting rude after all passengers complaining. They were basically saying we should get stuffed since we were booked for a flight next day same day. This is shameful! Needless to say that I will not fly this airline again!"

The flight attendant was so rude on this trip. It was like she was absolutely offended by my presence. I barely even spoke to her except to make sure of my vegetarian tray to which I got the nasty reply "You'll have to wait because I don't have it with me now". If I wasn't so focused on sleeping as much as I could I would have written her name down. No complimentary cocktails for Preferred Seating? Seriously? What did I upgrade for exactly? Literally four inches of space? Late, rude, money sucking industry who holds no accountability for wrong doings. Don't get into the Health Industry.. you'll kill people with this flippant attitude. Bleh.. I doubt I'll fly with Delta again. The thought of having to do so turns my stomach."

I didn't like that my flight time was changed more than 15 times with no reason why until boarding time. I didn't like the fact that I did not get a seat assignment until boarding the plane. Cons: "The WORST experience of my life. My flight was delayed 12 hours overnight due to "weather" and since it was reportedly because of uncontrollable weather delta didn't have to do anything for me so I slept in the JFK airport overnight, they wouldn't even give a $59 pass to their sky miles club for the afternoon. It felt like an easy excuse so they wouldn't have to do anything since there were other airlines still flying out of JFK and to go CLE before my rescheduled flight which makes me believe it wasn't all weather. Since the flight was delayed 12 hours instead of being cancelled they wouldn't let me switch to a different airline either. Then, in the morning when it was rescheduled to it was again delayed because they first couldn't find a captain and then couldn't find a fort mate. We finally took off and arrived in Cleveland only to wait another 30 minutes for a gate and a ground crew that they couldn't find. I will never fly delta again."

Cons: "We had seats at first where there was what looked like bubble gum bits stuck on one of the food trays. The flight was clearly not cleaned although it landed 2+ hours before the departure. We had to ask for a wet tissue and clean it up. That was of no use too as it wouldn't scrub off. My wife was feeling under the weather and so we asked for a blanket. The blanket was hardly a blanket and more like a towel. We then luckily could switch seats as there were 2 vacant. But, the air conditioner was leaking water in the seat to our left. The crew was callous and just stuck the passenger with some napkins saying it does that. I don't fly Delta a lot and my experience in this trip isn't inspiring much confidence."

It is nice that you can play movies for free over WiFi on your phone or tablet (since the in-seat system simply didn't work...), but, bizarrely, the WiFi movie selection was different from (and substantially smaller than) the seat movie selection. What's that about? And the WiFi movie scheme is way more painful than it needs to be, requiring you "check out" movies using your web browser, then switch to a separate app to actually watch the movies. Clearly the product of a company mindset whose ONLY concern is "can we check some box", with absolutely no interest in "how can we delight our customers?""
Cons: "So we get the same entertainment system all these flights use: some ghastly totally non-optimized Linux setup that was rebooted three times during the flight, took 20 minutes for each reboot, and never worked correctly after any of the reboots. (The only movie my system would ever play was the very first one, and none of the on-screen controls worked. The seat next door could choose multiple movies, but each movie froze after 40 minutes). The amazing thing is: why don't they just install a damn iPad mini or Android equivalent in the back of each seat? Would be lighter than what they have today and would work FAR better. You'd need some co-ordinating/provisioning software to provide for OTA announcements and movie updates, but basically it's not that hard... At the very least, hire a Linux-head to optimize your startup scripts! It's just sad to see this 20 minute startup process (all dumped on the screen) with its constant repetition of time-wasting startup steps that just generate errors on this plane's particular hardware setup..."

Therefore, our seats were not assigned until the last minute, and once they were assigned, they were published in a screen with our initials. This practice was discriminatory and violateed our rights for privacy, We even felt that it could put our security in risk. I believe that one thing is not to allow clients to choose seats in advace because they bought the ticket through a third party website, and another thing is to discriminate an treat those clients as "second class" people. When I asked the person in the counter for the reasons behind this practice, she could only say it was Delta's policy to do it that way. In that sense I was very surprised with the practice because i bought an Airfrance ticket (not a Delta one) and I had travelled before in both airlines (Airfrance and Delta) and I had never experienced a situation like the one described. I strongly believe that Delta needs to review this practice."

To be fair, I haven't flown them, I'm just thinking of things I've heard and read. The seat was fine and typical as far as leg room and reclining goes. The food was what you'd expect on an airline (it was fine, but I don't despise airline food). The crew though, was wonderful. Really. Friendly, welcoming...I bothered one attendant a couple times for more water as I was very thirsty, and then asked for a beer after the beverage service was over. Often flight attendants will act as if you're demanding a foot massage or something, but this particular guy was very nice. All of the crew that I interacted with was just lovely."

Cons: "On my return flight home, they wouldn't accommodate adjusting my itinerary because I wasn't feeling well. I was willing to pay change fee for 1 layover instead of the 2 layovers on my original itinerary. They wanted to charge me $700 which was greater than my original ticket. So I flew on the original itinerary at started my travels @ 7am on Monday. Flight from Bogotá to Barranquilla w/Avianca airlines was great. In Barranquilla I had a 4 hr layover, checked in w/Copa agent and he said my bag was on plane. In Panama, there was a 1.5 hr layover so I assumed no issues getting my luggage to the correct connection. The flight from Panama was delayed by 40 mins w/no explanation. We just sat on plane. They only played one older movie, plane was old and they did 1 beverage service w/meal for a 5.5 hour flight. I finally arrived back to ORD @ 12:15 am Tuesday. I waited for my luggage in baggage claim for 35 mins. It doesn't arrive and I ask attendant, who brushes me off and says this is the claim for Copa. She disappears for 30-40 mins. I finally see her walking back into international baggage claim (over an hour has passed that I've been in baggage claim) and tell her my luggage did not arrive. She asks me for my claim ticket then proceeds to say "oh yes, I was informed your bag did not make it." I'm upset because it's 1:40am and she could have saved me an hour if she would have helped me when I first asked. I also am curious how an airline loses my bag twice."

So everyone after that had to gate check. When I boarded there were at least 8 empty bins and I had not even gotten to my seat in row 22. The gate agent lied and slowed down the entire boarding process because she want to win a fight and show dominance over a passenger."

They kept delaying the flight, 5 minutes at a time, for 4.5 hours. It flew out of LGA, it was a 9pm flight. The airport food sources were closed, and AA kept us until 1am-- no food, no internet, and, because LGA has terrible cell reception, no phone service. Once we got on the plane, everyone was really hungry, and the plane had no snacks. No entertainment because the TV system was broken. It was just a miserable experience. I regret trying to save $20 by booking that flight. I have had nothing but terrile experiences on American Airlines-- NEVER AGAIN."

I WILL TRY NOT TO FLY IN AA AGAIN."
Cons: "When the pilot took off at LGA he said "everyone here is trying to take off at the same time" so we'd be delayed by 30 min. Not once was there a mention of any other reason. By the time we got to DC I had JUST missed my connecting flight. It was listed nowhere on the departures screen and I realized I had to take an outdoor bus to the other half of the "c" terminal which was very confusing. I got there and had missed the connecting flight and stand in line for 20 min for someone to tell me that I would be stuck in DC overnight. At this point rain had started pouring and they told me that because my mishap was due to weather they would provide no meal or hotel voucher. Weather was not the issue and I was stuck in DC overnight by myself and not compensated for hotels or meals."

After more calls put me in another United flight later that night which also finally got cancelled. I had to book a new flight with delta and paid $460 on the spot for that. Still awaiting my refund from American for the return leg which was cancelled and left a lady traveling alone stranded at Detroit airport in the night. Apology or compensation -- forget it, you will never get that! Only now if they can refund my cancelled flight..."

Cons: "I was originally scheduled to fly to Cleveland from LGA at 8:30PM. At 12:30PM I got a text from United informing me that my flight had been cancelled. My only rebooking option on the same day was a 9:45PM flight out of Newark. Newark is significantly farther away from my apartment (2 hours vs. 30 minutes) but I took it because it was my only option. After a 2+ hour trip to Newark and going through a disastrous check-in process I found out my flight was delayed until 10:30, then 11, then 11:41. Hardly any real announcements were made until the end when the gate agent stopped hiding. No apologies were made and wasn't even offered water for the inconvenience."

Cons: "Last row smelled like throw up and crew didnt care to resolve . Then someone else came aftr people complain. Still didnt get resolved. And they gave my 8 month pregnant wife a hard time walking in front and said she technically doesnt have a disability. Worse flying experience. Then my bag was ripped half open i carasel."
Pros: "The staff was friendly and helpful. A young lady on my Houston to Austin flight helped me find my seat. A young man on my New York to Houston flight was very kind."
Cons: "The snacks were horrible. And the fact you get a sip of a drink makes no sense."

Cons: "the stuffs were mean and helpless,your luggage fee was so high ,only give one checked bag for free,this is international airline and you charged the first for 100 dollars and the second one for 200dollars and you let me,a poor little girl felt lonely in the airport and found it nowhere to complain,I missed two flights in one day and the air attendant 's attitude were bad,this was the worst experience ever in my life,I won't recommend United airlines to any of my friends"

Pros: "I arrived safe and sound. A United ticket clerk at Chicago O'Hare was super nice but didn't really help my situation. I appreciated her effort and warm demeanor."
Cons: "After booking the flight I noticed that there was a 25 minute window between the time my flight was scheduled to land in my connecting city and the departure time of my connecting flight. Aware that most airline close the gate door and the flight 10 to 15 minutes before take off and the fact that it takes about 15 minutes to get off a flight after the aircraft door open, I was sure that this would be a problem. Also if I then had to change terminals that would be another 20 minutes. Long story short, I thought this was poor customer service on United's side. I called united the day before my flight and customer service rep assured me that it would be the same terminal and that these times are customary on the part of United. I then also mentioned this at the gate as well and talked to a very kind Flight Attendant. Everyone worked to put me at easy about this. My flight left 20 minutes late but made the time up while in the air. We landed I got off the flight in record time and asked a gate attendant to check my flight status. The flight and gate had been closed. They then had be go talk with a very kind woman at the customer service desk. She then moved me to a AA flight. She said "now the fate closes in 10 minutes so you probably won't make it but run". "You've got to be kidding me" i thought but she was so nice so I didn't question it... But I RAN!!! I didn't make it and AA customer service rep put me on the last flight out. I say in the airport for an extra 4 hours and ate lots of food I'm sure is slowly killing me as we speak. Happy to be safe and at home."

Cons: "My first flight was delayed by an hour and 20 min. I arrived at Dallas for my connector to Austin, 25 min before my departure time. I could have made it, however, the plane taxi'd at the gate for at least 10 min, then the door wouldn't open. When I finally got off, I sprinted to my next gate, thinking they may hold it for a few minutes as there were many people connecting on that flight to Austin, but instead they did the opposite. When I arrived there were other people waiting who had arrived 10 min before the departure time (also from a delayed flight) and the doors were already closed. There was no representative at the gate to even tell us this, until we had waited over 10 min, and when he arrived, he said the doors were closed, and all of us were too late. Why would you close the doors early, knowing that other connectors were coming in. Additionally, on my return trip, my flight was cancelled, and I never received a reason for its cancellation, just an automatic rebooking that put me back in New York a day late. I had to be on the phone for an hour, rebooking a flight that United didn’t have. They instead put me on an American airlines flight last minute that I barely made. This wouldn’t have been so bad if this wasn’t the second time this exact scenario occurred within two months, when my siblings attempted to return home for the Christmas holidays. United is terrible."
